AP calls race for Democrat nominee for Oregon governor, Measure 120

[00:00:00]In the Republican primary for governor, no call yet, no projection from the Oregonian or the Associated Press here, but Christine Drazan out front, state senator, looking on track for a rematch against Governor Tina Kotek in November.

[00:00:13]That race, the Democratic side has been called for Governor Kotek by the Associated Press there, overwhelmingly out front with 85%. No surprise there.

[00:00:21]Let's talk about Measure 120, that is statewide. It's the veto referendum on a gas tax to fund ODOT. It is an avalanche of no's. Nobody wants to touch this thing, and as we have been talking about over the last half hour, nobody wants to increase their taxes right now. It seems, even for things like public safety and to maintain the same level of police officers, at least in some places.
