This incident ironically demonstrates that the human supervisor can be the weakest link in a system designed for safety. It highlights the growing tension between manual intervention and the perceived infallibility of autonomous logic.

US Robotaxi Firm Waymo Investigates London Police Tape BreachAjouté :
An awkward blunder for a driverless car company in London.
Waymo has apologized after one of its vehicles drove straight through a police cordon at a crime scene in Harlesden.
This social media footage captured the moments the car rolled right past flashing blue lights and snapped through the police tape before being abruptly halted by officers.
The area had been blocked off following a double stabbing earlier that evening.
But here's the twist.
The tech wasn't actually at fault.
Waymo says a human validation driver was in full control and operating the vehicle in manual mode at the time.
The company claims that if the automated system had been turned on, its sensors would have spotted the tape and stopped automatically.
The driver has since been suspended and Waymo says they're investigating. Talk about a bad day at the office.
