This analysis sharply exposes how studios weaponize editing to manufacture false narratives and artificial hype. It is a sobering reminder that modern trailers are often more about psychological manipulation than narrative honesty.

The New Spiderman Trailer Is MISLEADING Everyone…That’s NOT The Real Villain
Added:These trailer editors think they're smart, huh? They think they can hide that one detail from me. They are hiding who the real villain of this entire film really is. And I know there was one detail I saw with the Punisher. That one shot with the Punisher that gives us an indication about what's really going on here, y'all. The Spider-Man Brand New Day trailer 2 came out just when I was about to pack up for the day. I just filmed the video. I was like, I'm done for the day. I'm not doing anything.
Spider-Man Brand New Day trailer drops on YouTube. Okay, I got to watch this now. I'm I am anticipating this movie. I got to watch this [ __ ] I noticed a really weird detail that we have to discuss. Okay, I say this in all my videos, but it's true. It's true. All right, I'm theorizing like [ __ ] here.
Okay, so I'm getting right into things here. The trailer starts off, the Scorpion fights Spider-Man, batters the [ __ ] out of him, and then Spider-Man, his eyes turn black. He goes beast mode.
He doesn't even need the symbiote, y'all. He doesn't even need the symbiote. He grabs that tail, starts like ragdolling Scorpion. Scorpion is pathetic. I'll be honest, bro. Like, we were all rooting for this guy to be in a Spider-Man movie. We were waiting, anticipating this guy, his debut US scorpion, for him to get thrown into a literal police car like he's nothing.
That dude ain't surviving that. I'm sorry. And if you are, you have broken a back or you've broken your head clean.
Peter Parker then goes to Bruce Banner says, "Bruce, I need to know how you controlled the spiraling of your DNA."
Bruce shows that he has this weird gauntlet thing that if it's taken off, Savage Hulk is coming out, which is interesting. What happened between Professor Hulk and She-Hulk and and then now to make this happen? I thought he was in control of the Hulk. I'm glad he isn't anymore. But what I did I miss something? Maybe I I haven't seen all the the shows in Disney Plus, but maybe I missed something. But whatever. He shows that he has that gauntlet now.
Spidey's like, I need to know how to control the natural side and all this stuff. And Bruce Banner's like, how do you decide which side is good and which side is bad? Then we get a couple shots of Peter just going crazy. He can't control himself. Whatever. He has organic webbing now, too. I'm telling you guys, this will be the strongest version of Peter Parker we've seen.
Like, I'm telling you, Andrew Garfield, Toby, people have said those guys would whoop this guy's ass. I'm sorry, bro.
After this film, Tom Holland will kill both of them. He would kill both of them. You know, the MCU is going to about to power scale this dude up up cuz we've already seen him do weird [ __ ] with the spider senses and no other Spider-Man's been able to do now. Oh my god, dude. This Spider-Man's getting stronger without the symbiote even. Oh lord, it's over. It's over. Everybody Everybody is catching strays. But then Spider-Man gets called by some government agent, probably from Damage Control, the guy from Severance, who says, "Dude, we're facing a threat that's like insurmountable. This dude is able to control everybody." We see him ignite a giant telepathic wave that controls everyone and freezes them.
Everyone except for, and there's one shot where you only see Punisher moving, wondering what the hell's happening. So the only two people that can stop this or it doesn't have an effect on are Spider-Man and Punisher cuz Punisher is not frozen.
Spider-Man can stop it with the Spider Sense. So it has no effect on his brain.
The Punisher is just so much of a Chad.
He's gone through so much turmoil. He's living in hell in his brain all the time that he can just survive this. You know what I think is happening? I think the villain that has this OP power to freeze people is Gan Gray.
And I think that's Sadi Sinks character to be clear. And I think she has a soft spot for Frank. I think her and Frank have some kind of alliance. I think they're allies. I think that's the reason why he wasn't frozen and controlled like she is. And I think that's ultimately the reason why Spider-Man will need Frank's help in the whatever the third act or whatever to help keep Zenaia at bay, which we're going to get to that that whole scene.
We're going to get to that scene because I'm sick and tired, man. I'm sick and tired of Zena's MJ. I'm sick and tired of seeing him. I'm tired. I'm sick and tired of them doing this thing where Peter has to get MJ and bring her somewhere and all this. I'm done with it.
Spider-Man goes to visit Ned. Ned is trying to figure out who Spider-Man is.
This is like his goal and Peter's right there. I I really don't I'm going to be honest here. I actually liked where we left off in No Way Home where these guys forgot about his identity and Spider-Man's isolated. I don't want us to do this thing where oh, they're going to remember him again or they're going to all be friends again and everything's going to be normal. I don't want us to ruin the consequences of No Way Home.
And that's what I fear this movie is going to do. Spider-Man goes to confront the person who's this telepath controlling everybody. Then we see Hulk's Bruce Banner's gauntlet is on the floor. And then we see the line uttered by somebody saying, "Oh, but Spider-Man's basically, we're not I'm not going to let you get away with this." And then the person who's apparently the telepath is saying, "But he might." And then we see Mark Ruffalo's Hulk transforming. Finally, the And he looks ruthless. He looks brutal. He looks badass. But the voice of the person who says, "But he might."
It's the trailer is editing this to make you think it's a dude. It's not. That voice sounds like Mark Ruffalo's. I think they edit that in the trailer in a weird way. This villain, I think it's Gan Gray. I could be It could be a dude, another person we've never met completely. And I'm not a fan of Gan Gray being the villain here. I hope it's somebody else. I hope it's Tombstone cuz if Gan Gray is a villain, I I'm going to be mad cuz that's lame. But this telepath that he confronts is not a dude. The trailer is making you think it's a dude by editing in a male's voice. Bruce Mark Ruffalo's voice.
That's not who it is. It's Gan Gray. But in any case, we see the Hulk transform.
We see the Hulk get webbed up. The Hulk does his thunderclap. Spider-Man gets [ __ ] clapped. Spider-Man goes to grab Zena saying, "You need help. People are after you. I'm going to save you." And then we see them I had to roll my eyes at the scene cuz it's this was the one part of the trailer that I didn't like.
I was pretty much liking everything else. Spider-Man takes her to the Punisher and says, "Bro, Frank, I need your help." from Punisher says yes. Then Zenaia has this speech that she gives Frank as if she deserves to be even in the same [ __ ] scene as this guy ever.
You're just going to let him go out there your friend. And then we see Frank looking.
We already [ __ ] saw this [ __ ] with Frank and Daredevil Born Again season one where Karen had the exact same type of dialogue with him. Man, then we see Peter falling off a building and then we see one of my favorite sequences. I can't wait. Peter's in prison. Don't know why he's here. Maybe damage control caught him. Putting him here. The Hand is about to kill him. I wonder if this is a similar prison to where Matt Murdoch is staying in. We're not going to see Matt Murdoch on this. I I doubt it, but The Hand gangs up on Peter.
Peter looks bloodied, by the way. He does look like he's been he got his ass whooped. Maybe the Hulk whooped up on him and Spider-Man got blamed for a lot of that and got put in damage control.
And so has Bruce Banner. He's also been put in in the prison. I think that's what's happened. I think Spider-Man just got a whooping from the Hulk. Thank god.
Thank god the Hulk can't be losing to Spider-Man in any realm. So Spider-Man's here and then Frank is like, "You're going to do something. Do it now."
Cutting two different sequences together. The hand's about to kill Spidey. They have like taser swords and [ __ ] This guy's eyes go black and he starts whooping their asses. He's going to have to hold back a lot cuz these are just humans. He could kill them with one punch. But then there's a sequence where he drops down and spins all them on a web and it's sick. It's sick. The action in this looks like it's the best it's ever been in the franchise in or well in the in the in the trilogy. And then we see a scene of him versus the Hulk where they're falling down a building. I think that is going to be the sequence before he gets put in prison. And then we see the title card. And then we see Peter having this moment with prison guards.
And then he spins a web on them and throws them at a gate in a cool way.
Now, just realizing that's what's happening makes me think that he's not going to be put in prison by damage control after the events of the Hulk.
So why is he in jail?
Why is he breaking into prison?
Is he trying to save Matt Murdoch? I doubt it. I doubt Meritt's in this. So why is he in there? Is he trying to save the Hulk?
Ah, maybe that's what's going on. Maybe the Hulk and him had a fight.
The Hulk somehow turns back to Bruce Banner. Bruce Banner gets taken by damage control, put in this jail, has the gauntlet put on him. Peter's like, I got to save my boy because it wasn't his fault. Gan Gray is the one who made him do this.
He's going to have to save the Hulk from the Hand in prison.
And it looks like him and the Hand are going to have an extended fight. And I think the Hand is also going to they're strings are going to be pulled by Tombstone somehow. I think Tombstone is going to be involved with the Hand in this Organized Crime Alliance type thing against Spider-Man vigilantes. So, here's what I'm excited for. I'm excited to see Spider-Man level up. I'm excited to see a new version of Peter isolated, depressed. It does worry me that he's having a lot of scenes with Zenaia.
Don't like Zenaia, but anyways, we'll get to that later. Um, I'm excited to see Savage Hulk. It looks like we're only going to get him for like 5 minutes, unfortunately. I'm excited to see Gan Gray. I think it is Gan Gray that we're dealing with here. I do not want her to be the villain, to be clear, and I don't think we've seen much of Tombstone yet. So, I think he's the main villain of the entire movie.
And I think the action scenes all look fantastic. I think the color grading of the trailer and the movie looks fantastic. I I think Scorpion looks pretty good despite him getting his ass utterly and brutally whooped.
And I I am looking forward to seeing what happens with Spider-Man's evolution.
What's going to happen? Like this leads somewhere, right? His black eye thing that's happening to him. It's all leading. He's not in control of it. At some point, he's going to learn to gain control. What's going to happen to him?
his physique, his powers, and does, according to a leaked detail about the test screening, something tragic does happen at the end of this movie. Spoiler warning for anyone who may not know.
Spider-Man going to die apparently at the end of this. I'm really wondering what happens and how that goes down.
Let's go to the negative side. Okay, the cons. What I'm worried about. I'm really I think I was proven correct in my video I made about this. I was afraid that what would happen to the Hulk is similar to what would happen in Age of Ultron where a telepath makes him lose his mind and clearly that's what's gone down.
Jean Gray didn't get into his head, but she somehow was able to take the gauntlet off and he goes crazy and loses his mind and he's going to be having a fiveminute fight team with Spider-Man, which will end in him losing.
It'll end in him losing, man.
Because if Spider-Man was to lo to lose a fight against the Hulk, he wouldn't be alive. If Hulk was to lose against a fight against Spider-Man, he would just turn back to Bruce Banner. He wouldn't get killed by Spidey, right? So, it would just be Spider-Man trying to survive and evade Hulk for as long as he can until Hulk somehow turns back with the help of damage control or whatever.
What What could we expect from Hulk being in a Spider-Man movie? But at least we're not getting Professor Hulk again. At least we can say that. Uh MJ, I think we need another live love interest for Peter Parker. MJ's gone stale. I don't have anything against MJ.
I'm just sick and tired.
I'm tired of these scenes where, oh, it's okay. I have to save you. And then we see him swinging with MJ. Oh, we need to protect her. Blah blah blah blah.
She's going to live and they're going to go have a happily ever after moment. I really hope what what happens is the writers are actually smart and they say, "Okay, he saves her, but it's time for them to split off completely.
Like, they will never be the same. Like, this is a completely different MJ now.
This is not the MJ who knew Peter. It's different." You know, with Gamora, how she was killed and then the past Gamora came, but her and Peter aren't a thing anymore. Even though you can tell there might be some chemistry, but she's not the same person, right? I want that to happen with Zenaia as MJ. I don't want them to get back together. Please, man.
Let him get with Black Cat already.
[ __ ] And as for Gan Gray, she better not be the main villain. I don't want Sadie Sink to be the main villain of this.
Come on. We need a villain who like Gan Gray is Gan Gray, but she's suitable for the role she's supposed to be in in the X-Men and as as it relates to Mutants.
We need a villain who's evil and has aura. Tombstone kind of seems like he's the guy since he's the he's the crime boss behind everything. I think he's the main guy in this, the main villain. And I think the trailer's tricking you and making you think it's somebody else.
That's my personal theory about this.
Those are my thoughts on that. I think it looks good. Just there's some things that worry me, man, that are predictable and I know they're going to do that are just going to annoy me. It's part for the course with this specific Spider-Man, but it's all good.
Everything else has me excited though.
