Flat Earthers DENY Coriolis… But Shooting Calculators Use It

[00:00:00]Flat Earthers love to say, "Prove Coriolis." Then, when you bring up hurricanes, artillery drift, long-range shooting, they just deny all of it. And somehow every Flat Earther seems to know a military sniper. That's weird, right?

[00:00:12]Because I know 15 to 20 military vets I work with and talk to on a regular basis, and none of them were snipers.

[00:00:18]Honestly, most of them had pretty mundane jobs. So, instead of arguing, check this out. This is the Lapua Ballistics app. This is a real-world shooting calculator used by competitive shooters. So, let's set it up. If you look at the top, it's got 6.5 Creedmoor rounds. We're shooting at 1,500 yd. The wind is zero, 85° temperature, relative humidity 25%.

[00:00:41]And if you look at the bottom there, we have to adjust our scope by two clicks to the left. That's to compensate for barrel rifling. And you can see the bullet drop is 133 clicks up. Now, if we click the hamburger menu, we have a little button there that says Coriolis.

[00:00:58]And that gives us a little plug-in here for latitude. So, if we look down there, we have two clicks to the left, but if we are shooting at, let's say, 40° north, now we have to adjust it three clicks to the left.

[00:01:10]Now, what if we were a little farther north? Let's say, Alaska. Now, we've got to click it four clicks to the left.

[00:01:16]This is a measurable difference just from Earth's rotation. So, Flat Earthers, professional-level ballistics calculators include Coriolis. Yet, you claim it's not real and shooters don't use it. So, I'm asking you this, stop making up silly stories because you want to feel special and you don't understand how the world works. Test the claim yourself. Stop falling for internet memes.
