Well, at the first alert update desk, North Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting involving police officers.
This was near Legacy High School this morning. Police say it happened as officers were searching for an armed suspect near Deer Springs and Commerce.
Nearby schools, including Legacy High School, were placed on lockdown as precaution. Police say the investigation is still active, but there is no ongoing threat. It's unclear at this time what led to the shooting. We're also asking if officers shot anyone, if anyone shot at the officers, and if anyone was hurt.
