The podcast offers a sharp analysis of how modern stan culture functions as a psychological trap that prioritizes tribal loyalty over objective morality. It serves as a vital reminder that intellectual independence is the only real defense against the manipulative power of digital fanaticism.

>> They're just trying to They're just trying to shift that attention. Hey, man. Listen, man. This administration is doing a lot of things to shift the attention away from the fact that they are all [ __ ] pedophiles and sex traffickers.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh yes. This first 10 minutes of the episode, >> you know, we're going with it. You know what I'm saying?
>> First 10 minutes of the episode, you know, I I was it was last minute and I couldn't make it, but I was invited to Montgomery to go down there to protest >> for basically the undoing of uh the Voting Rights Act and >> basically just making it where not only were your vote gutting it to the point where they redistricting things where you don't have any political power or impact, >> but gutting the vote to the point where it's going to feel like it don't matter.
Now, you got a lot of people out here who telling you that your vote doesn't matter and you shouldn't participate in the voting process because it doesn't matter anyway. Now, I have a criticism on that that we will get to a little later. But to that sentiment, if it doesn't matter, >> then why take it away? Why go through all these efforts? Now, there is the need for a two/3 majority.
>> Mhm.
>> So they can start working towards getting a 3/4 majority >> so that they can basically rewrite the constitution.
>> Right >> now, all of this was in project 2025.
I guess you didn't think that they was going to act this fast, but they own it.
Now, let me tell you something about the issue that I'm having with this, right?
It's not the fact that we're going and and we're protesting. We're going back and going back to marching and the only true activism if they're trying to take away your vote is to exercise your vote. That's the only if if we talking about the democratic process and they try to remove you from the democratic process then the only true act of protest is voting. When they try to tell you a vote doesn't matter. uh when when blood has been shed over this voting process by black people for the better part of two centuries. Now, I have one minor just I'm not going to take up too much of your time.
Now, I feel like the reason why your democratic efforts fall short or flop altogether is because there is an a refusal to acknowledge America as it truly is, which is not a democracy. It's an oligarchy. If we are an oligarchy, then your defense measures have to be rooted in dismantling the efforts of an oligarchy, not in the restoration of a democracy. They're way past democracy.
They're not thinking democratically.
These are not democratic people. Now they're they're using the democratic process as a veil to not only make you feel included, but a way to backdoor in their processes, which only benefit a very small percentage of tech billionaires, a very small percentage of corporate CEOs, and a very small percentage of the most sold out politicians that exist, >> including your president.
Now it seems that their their their efforts are invincible. The the the things they do the the the the the things that they do are invincible to the effort e efforts of more democratic pecratic people. But it's because they are not involved in a democratic process and and when you look at the things that mayor Brandon Johnson his efforts are a little bit more socialist.
uh Mandani >> efforts a little more socialist. They they got my boy in Baltimore in hot water right now. But same thing, >> it's a socialist act because if if you going to make the only way to fight a party that's trying to do a a lot for a little bit of people is to do a lot for a lot of people. You got to even the score. You got to tip the scale.
And it's like the people that's in power in those places tipping that scale.
not running it up the ladder, not involving themselves in the quoteunquote democratic process, but making executive decisions for the betterment of the people, but then you have to have politicians in there that you can trust.
And you got to have politicians in there that's for the people. And then you have to also reframe a lot of people's mentality towards politicians, including me.
Including me. I'm not a big fan of politicians. I feel like all them [ __ ] are liars. I feel like they ought to get their money and and and and the thing is the ones that I see that are doing stuff for the people, I always give them props. Here's the thing.
I don't know every corrupt politician by name.
>> I do know all the ones who I support by name. That means there's not enough.
>> That means there are not enough good politicians to support. That means there not enough politicians who are for the people. If I know them all by name, when the vast majority of them are corrupt and I couldn't name you, I couldn't even rattle off 20 of them to you right now. I just know.
>> You dig what I'm saying? Because you see the system. You see the fruits of the system.
>> It's just one of them It's one of them things, man. I I I think that I think that the acknowledgement if because it's like, yeah, they're trying to kill democracy. know they they've already moved on from democracy in our big government. They have moved on from democracy and and and and if we're being honest long since um I think when we start looking at the first, you know, you know, and we don't rank presidencies here. I'm not gonna sit here and make it seem like Obama was some [ __ ] saint. That [ __ ] That [ __ ] was tearing the Middle East up.
>> Kill Gaddafi.
>> Now, here's the thing.
This is your This is your textbook American president, though.
>> Charismatic, >> you know, the the well smoking. The people love you.
>> Yeah.
>> Only people that dislike Bama Obama in Obama's era was just white people.
>> Yeah. That's it.
>> And and that show that tell you everything you need to know about America.
Cuz if he was if he was white and he act like that, oh man, damn, make a bust of this [ __ ] >> Yeah.
>> Dad be like, "Yeah, go take Abraham Lincoln ass off that Mount Rushmore. Put this [ __ ] up there.
Go put Go put Barry O'Harity up there."
That's what >> Barry O'Harity is crazy.
My Irish Barry Herity.
That's stupid.
Oh man.
>> Oh, good. Good old Barry O'Hy.
>> Barry O'Harity.
>> Yeah, man. We get right into the [ __ ] today. We got time to play around.
>> Yeah, man.
>> I just think that there's an there needs to be an understanding of what this thing is. If we if we be honest about what it is, then you can you can attack it. You can stop playing the defense to it. The reason why [ __ ] is on defense all the time, cuz they playing the wrong game.
>> You playing democratic game with oligarchs. They don't care nothing about democracy. They pay for that [ __ ] I mean, okay, look, we go to look look 20 2016.
>> Okay.
>> Popular vote.
>> Yeah.
>> Hillary. Oh. Uh, Hillary and Trump.
Yeah. Who won the popular vote?
>> Hillary smashed them.
>> Smashed them.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Well, we going about the democratic process and the vote of the people. I mean, Hillary Clinton should have been president.
>> Yeah.
>> The they saying that Dr. Cheyenne Bryant graduated from the electoral college.
Hey, she got a degree there.
>> Between her and God, man, college university.
>> I ain't never heard >> never heard.
>> I'm just saying I'm just saying if the democratic process through the democratic process, we get Hillary Clinton, right?
>> Through the electoral college, we get Dr. Cheyenne.
>> They're not playing. They they're playing a different game, bro. And I think we need to acknowledge that they're playing a different game. And I think that maybe the enemy seems bigger >> if we acknowledge that they're oligarchs. Cuz maybe they just that word, doesn't it seem like people that's out of reach? M >> seems like people are out of reach and it it's easier to to to align yourself more in the democratic process of things where it's still because now cuz but then but then but then but then but then but then we get into a place where we selling people hope >> through the democratic process >> and this is why you have people you know and again again local start start local at global I'm I'm I'm always going to be on And I know that this seems contradictory, but I'm not like you [ __ ] I know how to hold two opposing opinions at the same time. I'm just not like you.
I haven't I haven't We'll get to that. We'll get to the We'll get to the the the way that you [ __ ] have actively utilized Stan culture as a personality.
>> We'll get there. We'll get there. We'll get there. We got a lot to cover today.
while while we are still participating in the democratic process because this is the this is the the socially and generally accepted idea about America, you [ __ ] still think that this is the democracy. Um and and I'm going tell you, even in an America where most of these dumb asses will vote against their own best interest, we still wouldn't have it this bad if it was Democratic.
I mean, godamn. I've never seen this many people cucking for [ __ ] billionaires in my life. You know, even when we was growing up.
>> Mhm.
>> They would come on e uh lifestyles of the rich and famous.
>> Yeah.
>> We would watch [ __ ] like that and we still didn't give a [ __ ] about them [ __ ] like that >> then.
>> Yeah. Because it'll be like saudi oil family. I ain't never going to be >> I ain't never going to be over there, >> [ __ ] I'm I'm from North Carolina.
>> Yeah. Not going to be there.
>> Saudi oil prints >> just bought a 2,2007 foot square yacht. Like god damn. Shout out [ __ ] got a little island >> for what? 40 billion.
>> For a modest [ __ ] like that.
>> For a modest >> a modest $40 billion.
>> Goddamn.
>> Goddamn [ __ ] balling [ __ ] >> 40 billion.
>> I mean I'm balling [ __ ] >> A little whopping.
>> Yeah whopping. Yo, when [ __ ] hit you when the when the when the white man hit you with the whopping, you know that [ __ ] gonna say a crazy number.
>> A crazy number.
>> Who?
>> It seems that their the estimated value of the Saudi oil family is unlimited.
>> There's no limit.
>> There's no limit. As long as there's an earth, them [ __ ] is rich.
>> Long as it's dirting oil. As long as it's soil.
>> These [ __ ] have more money than God.
Manta Musa who [ __ ] will say [ __ ] like them [ __ ] say [ __ ] like that. You ain't never seen the Saudi oil prints on Forbes. Them [ __ ] got ridiculous money.
>> [ __ ] got money.
>> Yeah, them [ __ ] just made a city to be honest.
>> Just made it.
>> Just made it.
>> Yeah. Let's get a little Let's get our hands a little dirty in Sudan, [ __ ] and make a city.
>> Damn.
>> I'm sorry. I'm not to be the party pooper.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, this is my vibe. This I love that.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I love [ __ ] the vibe of them.
It seems they're estimated to own a quarter million slaves in Sudan for one modest forest.

>> Got to get that gold.
>> I didn't think you was close.

>> I love gold.
>> We there. We got to go.
>> I love gold.
>> I love gold. Go member.
>> Go me. God damn.
>> I'm trying to tell you, >> man. Jesus Christ.
>> Wow. Um, I just say this. I'm just saying we we haven't seen these many [ __ ] sucking the dick of billionaires. I mean you [ __ ] I mean glazing don't even begin to do you [ __ ] justice because you [ __ ] will be split on a living wage.
>> This is ridiculous to me. It's ridiculous to me.
Your po ass don't have nothing to pass down to your child and you still don't want your child to earn a living wage?
>> I mean I mean what I mean that they said that they was putting fluoride.
>> Put fluoride in it. Yeah. instead of putting fluoride in the in the water.
>> Hey man, >> but what are they putting in it now? Cuz this [ __ ] is calcifying [ __ ] entire brain. The hippoc campus getting calcified. They do little oblong >> fluoride fol.

And for all the [ __ ] that put black >> first, >> huh?
Cuz you got to understand, it's too many [ __ ] putting that title before they put that black. Oo.
>> It's too many [ __ ] that's rich and then they black. It's too many [ __ ] that's religious and then they black.
>> It's too many [ __ ] that's this and then they black.
>> Nah, [ __ ] You got to put that black first.

>> It's a lot of oxtails.
>> Yeah, man.
>> Not oxtails.

>> Oh, man.
>> Shout out to >> Yeah, >> you know, shout out to the guys.
>> Hey, man.
>> I just, you know, I'm starting to see >> Mhm.
>> I see it.
>> Okay.
>> It's a No, the marketing is good.
>> That's what it is.
>> It's wrestling.
>> Great. Yeah. Yeah. Great marketing wrestling. Great marketing.
>> I hated debates.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Hey, man. It's the 40 minute mark.
>> Okay.
>> We just hit 40.
>> Okay.
>> I was thinking about 40.
>> Mhm.
>> Got me thinking about that Iceman.
>> Oh, shout out to the Ice Man.
>> Shout out to the Ice Man. Was a nice man. Now you hot and cold.
>> Yeah, man.
>> Hey, man. Look, uh, two of those albums did I know they not for me.
>> Nah, >> those is for the [ __ ] man.
>> Yeah. Yeah. For the women.
>> I, you know, at 40 years old, the way that he knows how to tap into the [ __ ] Good. Good on you, bud.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Good on you.
>> That Iceman album was okay. There's like there's three or four joints on there, but that's a Drake album. I don't know why everybody won't just admit this.
>> That's a Drake album.
>> That's a Drake album. Three or four joints.
>> Three or something. It's like >> Yeah.
>> Either you like them or you don't like them. You know what I mean?
>> Yeah.
>> Run to Atlanta. But >> I didn't really like that.
>> I didn't like it.
>> Not for real.
>> I didn't like that bees on the table.
That's like >> I didn't like that. my fan.
>> What's the other one with the uh what they say over and over again? Um I can't think of the name. I'm going look it up.
Hold on.
>> Dream. The one we liked.
>> Another one we liked. The one we liked was uh Pray. What was it? Uh Pray.
>> Uh Make The Him Pay.
>> Make The Himm Pay. Make The Him Pay.
>> I like Make Them Pay. I like National Treasures. I like that Jenny. Shut the [ __ ] up. That EC baby.
>> I don't like that.
>> These hoes know how I pop it for real.
He's knows how I pop it for real.
>> I don't like it.
>> I don't like it.
>> That [ __ ] [ __ ] That [ __ ] said, what did that [ __ ] say? That [ __ ] said Ry go skirt on him just like a kilt. THAT [ __ ] HARD, [ __ ] YOU KNOW THAT [ __ ] WOKE UP.
>> YEAH, that's your [ __ ] >> That's me.
>> That's you.
>> Riley go skirt on a [ __ ] like kilts. I said, "Yeah, I hate it on paper like whoop."
>> Shebang is what I >> hated. Shebang.
>> Yeah, I >> Yeah, >> some people like it. Some people love it. Here's my thing.
I I don't I don't care about the beef anymore. I don't know why we Listen, dog. Listen. You [ __ ] are being cheap online. Now, me and Big Cat was riding.
We was on the way back from We went to TI's uh 20th anniversary >> Uhhuh.
>> party.
>> Yeah.
>> And then we went to BMI party at the rooftop retreat.
>> And then we went with some of the homies >> Yeah.
>> to Pelicanana. It's a nice nice >> Korean fried chicken spot.
>> Yeah, man.
>> When we leave out the Pelican, it's midnight.
>> It is.
>> Oh, >> album just dropped.
>> They just dropped. We say, "Man, we going to run this on the way back."
>> Yeah.
>> Through the first few songs, I was not impressed.
>> I wasn't at all.
>> And I'm, you know, and I and I'm in Listen, man. Look, I'm in the right mind to enjoy this song, this music, >> because we a little lit.
>> Yeah, we was lit.
>> I, you know.
>> Yeah.
>> Responsibly. Responsibly. I was riding.
I'm in the passenger seat. I'm lit.
>> Yeah.
This is a perfect time to listen to some of this music. Now, h I I I I I put out a thread. You know, this what we was waiting on.
Lol. Haha. But y'all know, you know, I know you [ __ ] I know you [ __ ] I know you [ __ ] This is a great time to form engagement. I'm just telling you.
Hey, >> because this [ __ ] is this [ __ ] you know, it's a few things that you could discuss and it's just going to make sure that your [ __ ] go. Kendrick, Drake, if you didn't name either one of those things, those [ __ ] have married themselves in the conversation around the culture.
They have married themselves through this beef. Now, here's my thing. There is never there was never going to be a time where Drake was not going to be able to make music again.
>> Drake makes music. He he knows how to dip his toe into several different genres. Some of those he does really well. So for the Maid of Honor album, this is a continuation of his uh uh honestly never mind.
>> Okay.
>> The dance vibes.
>> You know what I'm saying? The the hobby whatever the name of the other I don't know what it is.
>> This is another continuation more his R&B dancing back. He's going to win with that.
>> Iceman was cool. Ice Man had some classic Drake vibe bops on there and then the rest of them, you know, whatever. Now, three album dropped. Get out your deal. Smart play.
>> Yeah, smart on them.
>> I respect it.
>> Yeah, >> I'm not a hater because you lost the battle already. I'm not on the battle. I don't care about the battle anymore.
>> Yeah, it's done.
>> [ __ ] that are still stuck on that. I mean, he's still dissing.
>> He is dissing.
>> But I mean, you got stomped out.
You got stomped out. You can't just come back and not say nothing.
>> I'm I'm with you on that one.
>> I mean, you stomp me out.
>> Yeah, >> I'm going to say something.
>> Got to say something.
>> But for those, you know, it's just this the the stand culture >> cuz cuz somebody was like cuz I cuz I said I I had made a thread, Janice, shut the [ __ ] up. That's all I put. And they was like, see, he made you eat your words. Eat your words, [ __ ] I'm not lame like you. I don't know these [ __ ] >> Yeah. I don't care about any of these [ __ ] that much. I don't have a personal relationship with any of these [ __ ] These [ __ ] have their own lives.
>> Okay. Even if I was to meet any of them [ __ ] tomorrow after they had their brief conversation with me, you know what they going to do? Go back to their life and I'm going to go back to mine. I don't have an allegiance to [ __ ] because I like their music.
>> Yeah.
Now in the battle and we talking about hip- hop culture in a battle it's different and but when we in when we engage in a battle you got to pick a side >> right >> pick my side my side so happen to win but that's over I can listen to the music objectively a couple bops on there >> good bops >> and that's Drake >> Drake's going to give you a bop he's still dissing and and and and if you could so kindly you know uh Iceman Man, if you could so kindly, please stop trying to make it seem like the sex is so dangerous. Like, we got to we got to stop that.
>> Yeah.
I mean, if I have any critiques about the music, cuz it's it's it's a the Drake thing is a plugandplay. He knows his audience.
Terrible. One of the worst fan bases of all times.
>> A lot of racist like you. That's weird.
But it's beside the point that we got to stop making the six seem so d it's just >> it's not dangerous.
>> Come on, man. Hey, man. Look, we live in a a rather safe I would say Douglasville is >> Yeah, >> it's safe as [ __ ] to me.
>> Yeah, >> it's still rated number six most dangerous city in Georgia.
>> In Georgia, >> this [ __ ] is safe as [ __ ] to me. Yeah.
Toronto crime statistics.
Does anything pop up?
Toronto is considered a safe major North American city with overall crime severity and violent crime rates remaining notably lower than many US and Canadian metropolitan counterparts.
>> Overall violent crimes, Toronto consistently ranks below the national average for violent crime severity among major Canadian cities. 42 homicides one year. Yeah, bro. Yeah, that's >> Yeah, bro. Hey.
>> Hey, man.
>> Listen, dog.
>> Relax on the six, bro.
>> Chill, bro.
>> Yeah, relax on the six.
>> Not to not to I hate I hate [ __ ] that brag about murder rates, but there are some [ __ ] putting up them numbers in a week or a month.
>> Yeah, >> unfortunately.
>> Unfortunately, >> I would say a month. We got to stop this whole the six the six the six is so dangerous.
>> I'm just saying that's my only critique cuz it's like he still be popping it mob boss vibes. I get it. It's cool. It's Drake, bro. The thing is is that we have to stop looking like we already have judged your character.
>> We judges throughout the beef. We've made our stances. Now, we could just sit back and view you as you are an entertainer.
>> Yeah.
>> It's still here. The unfortunate part is the losers are in the majority.
>> The lame [ __ ] are the majority.
>> So, you always going to win.
>> And we respect that. Mhm.
>> Cuz I [ __ ] with some of the music.
>> Yeah, >> for real.
That [ __ ] hard, [ __ ] I don't You don't like that [ __ ] >> I don't I'm not a Drake fan. I never been a Drake fan since the beginning.
>> Is what it is, >> but he got he got he got music that I like.
>> He has bops.
>> He got bops. I'm not saying >> he's a He's a bop machine.
>> Yeah. Yeah, >> he is almost 40.
>> He is.
>> That is alarming. But hey, you know, um you know, there's always going to be a a um there's always going to be a loophole when it comes to this [ __ ] You know, he doesn't have the growth and mature, but let everybody else make music and they want to see growth and mature, but this [ __ ] gets to keep talking the same [ __ ] he's been talking for 10 years.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
I think Drake, you know, only another criticism, man. Might might be just time to go settle down, my brother. I mean, you still waiting on the Oh, you're not calling me back.
>> He can't settle down.
>> Listen, I ain't going to lie, man. Don't settle down. Cuz that is the that is the the the formula.
>> That's him. If he settle down, he loses it.
>> Yeah, it's the formula. It's the bot formula.
>> He can't settle down. He got to keep chasing heartbreak.
>> He does. Yeah.
>> Shout out to Drake, man. You know, we don't give a [ __ ] about this beef [ __ ] [ __ ] We don't care, [ __ ] Make win, bro. Make your money, bro. Yeah.
>> You know what I'm saying?
>> Yeah.
>> Um, still considerably not like us, but >> we not going to be haters, [ __ ] >> Mhm.
>> I just, you know, I have better things to do. Um, I have better things to do to get online and tie my allegiance to two [ __ ] that I don't know. Um, here's the thing. Criticism is an act of love when done through pure objectivity. And that's why the death of journalism in America is very methodical. Stand culture is a byproduct of social media and a conspiracy of the ruling class to control access to true and unbiased freedom of press. Now power is vulnerable to investigation.
When you have power, not only does it make people obsessed with your power in the sense that they'll deify you, but I want to know what you're doing with it.
>> This how they tried to get us with the lifestyles of the rich and famous. They just tried to show us the little trinkets.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> So, they taught us that Jeffrey Epstein bought a school >> and turned it into a home. Okay.
>> They didn't tell us that this [ __ ] had an island where he was trafficking children, >> right?
>> Power >> is vulnerable to investigation. Okay, >> they will tell you about Mara Lago. They won't tell you the reason why he buried his wife at Mara Lago.
>> It's because you can't tax the land >> if it's if it's a cemetery >> power is vulnerable to investigation.
Now, our society has doled into a population of fanatics.
This is why I really didn't want to say nothing about the Drake album because we have a population of fanatics. We seen this a few weeks ago.
>> I made one little comment about one little person and >> [ __ ] didn't even hear what I said. M >> they just heard that name and then Manurion candidate >> [ __ ] activated manurian candidate and [ __ ] and this is this and this will do the same.
We we are a population of fanatics.
It activates a man manurion candidate in you [ __ ] It turns things off.
>> Stand activate. Stan activate logic.
Delete logic. Delete logic.
Suspend logic.
Stand. Activate.
Y'all [ __ ] will delete logic, ration, all that because we live in a population of fanatics.
Now in sports when the when the quarterback is [ __ ] up, right?
>> Quarterback he [ __ ] up.
>> Mhm.
>> You will ridicule you will ridicule your quarterback publicly.
>> Mhm.
>> But you won't start cheering for another quarterback that's doing better. That's especially if you're on a different team.
That's sacrilegious.
That's fair weather player [ __ ] That's cowboy fan [ __ ] >> Yeah, >> that's you have you got your home team and even if your home team ain't doing too well, even if the quarterback is [ __ ] up, that don't mean you go start becoming a fan of the team of the quarterback who's doing better.
>> That's sacrilege. YOU A FAIR WEATHER PLAYER.
NOW, the team itself DOESN'T POSE ANY BENEFIT TO THE FAN WHATSOEVER. AND the allegiance is typically geographical.
It's religious. It's not necessarily meant to be rational.
It's meant to hack the innate instinct to be tribal.
Now, we dealing with [ __ ] This is where you got to investigate the power.
This is why they don't like journalism.
Journalist, >> they investigate power. How many things have been uncovered through just true blue honest roll up your sleeves journalism?
>> A lot.
>> I just did my story board and and and and I was I was interviewed for for you know you know shout out to everybody. Shout out to everybody. But a lot of people doing their their journalism on a corporate level and they doing it all the time. So they didn't really get to dig in them crates. They don't get to get >> the the the the story board.
>> Yeah.
>> Those that was true journalism. Them [ __ ] knew [ __ ] about me I forgot about.
>> Very much so.
>> How the [ __ ] you [ __ ] find this out?
>> They ask me question. God damn. How you know that?
>> Forgot I told y'all that.
That's journalism. Journalism is is is is is a is a big part of the First Amendment because the freedom of press.
>> It's hard to have a freedom of press and a freedom of speech in a culture run by fanatics because the truth is not going to set these [ __ ] free.
It's activated standhood st activ activate the stand suspend rationale suspend logic.
It's not necessarily meant to be rational. It's meant to hack the innate instinct to be tribal. Now only difference between that is see the tribalism comes from centuries of genetic information of living off the land with finite resources. You are no longer living off the land. You are no longer living with finite resources. But at a cellular level, they're hacking into you to make you feel like you are.
The people in power are using psychological tactics to hack your biological instincts.
This is where the fanatic comes in.
See, this is the thing. Can't get left by the tribe.
>> Mhm.
Hey man, you get live in traffic, you get ostracized.
>> Yo, he's saying the lone the lone wolf.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That [ __ ] sound good >> in theory >> and in and in in in a in a in a in a story >> Mhm.
>> in an allegory in a fable sound good to be the lone wolf.
But when you come up in a communal aspect where everybody taking care of everybody and only thing you got to do is play a role, >> the thing that'll get you ostracized is questioning the authority of the village.
>> You start questioning the chief. Your ass might get ostracized.
Now there there seems to be some traits about the people on the right.
And this is what I mean about the tribe.
And this is what I mean being hacked on a cellular level and hacking your biological instincts. It seems like the people who are on the right seem to be highly in favor of of gambling.
>> Okay.
>> Investment. This is all the same. the the obsession with wealth, the obsession with billionaires, the the grace they give billionaires, the praise they give billionaires, but also the hustle mentality, the capitalist mentality, >> um the gambling, the gambling, the gambling. Something about that, that chance, that that one in however many chance to be the thing I worship. M >> you make money with God and then you gamble with your God every day. God, family, country using God to justify your lack of understanding family cuz these [ __ ] will kill their family for sure. These [ __ ] live in a country that will actively put people in their family under fire and in harm's way, especially the women. And they will vote for that under the guise of God, family, country.
Now, they also have a lot of grace for their oppressor because they don't realize they're the ones being oppressed.
>> Too scared to leave the tribe. Now, why for them is freedom of speech only worth defending when it benefits your ability to degrade people but not their ability to criticize your beliefs. This is where they get to banning books.
>> This is where they get to gutting your voting rights. They they they want the freedoms that benefit their ability to degrade, their ability to oppress, but not the ability to for those things to be critiqued.
We live in a weird space in society.
This is a weird society we live in where when you question power, even people without power will chastise you.
>> Your questioning of power, your investigation into powerful people will benefit the people without the power. It would actually give them the power. But they've been hacked.
They've been brainwashed. They've been duped. Huh? Hoodwinkedked. They've been got and they are they are they have been thrust into a population of fanatics and stands that this [ __ ] it becomes what they they allegiance is beyond rationale and beyond logic. It's beyond all these things and it keeps them in line even to the point where they will harm themselves for the benefit of their team.
and get nothing in return. See, when you in when you in football, you know what I'm saying? Uh, any given Sunday.
>> Okay.
>> Run to the end zone.
When he go dive, he know this my last play.
>> Yeah.
>> I'm old as [ __ ] The white dude.
>> Yeah, the white guy.
>> Old as [ __ ] >> But in order to advance this team >> and I'll be praised. I'll be a legend for this [ __ ] Yeah. See, you put your neck out on the line for quote unquote MAGA, you don't get [ __ ] in return. Not even praise.
>> Nothing.
>> And Chad, the builder's case, you get $130,000. You can't even touch.
>> Only thing you get is a clear representation of the alignment and the allegiance because I don't want to hear MAGA and Ku Klux Clanhu.
It's just you [ __ ] are white supremacist. You [ __ ] are racist. You [ __ ] are bigots. And you [ __ ] are afraid of black people. You're afraid of black people.
You don't understand how black people are out here having such a great time.
But we do.
>> Mhm.
>> Enlightenment is not a religious experience.
It's the ability to see that the religion is no longer needed.
Because the religion is not about the worship or belief in God. It's a practice birthed out of an inability to understand or control the world around you. So the real enlightenment is when you truly recognize that I, you and everything else around me, if created by the God >> that we believe in is a reflection of me.
So how I treat it is how I treat myself.
How I treat the land is how I'm essentially treating my God.
>> How I treat my fellow man is essentially it's a it's a reflection of my belief.
Now, how y'all treat people makes me believe that the person you worship is the devil because a lot of your actions become a little [ __ ] demonic. But I understand it because that inability to control or understand the world around you not only instills fear but paranoia >> and that is crippling and debilitating.
So when black people gave the world stay woke, it was a warning. It was an imperative declaration to trust what you see and what you feel and not what you being told.
Because if you believe the things that they tell you, it could get you killed.
>> It's the same reason that a criminal wants a witness to die.
>> Mhm.
>> Because when you start investigating the power, sometimes, most times in American times, when you investigate power, what do you find?
Corruption. M. So the the the the thing is when [ __ ] told you to stay woke, they telling you don't trust the narrative.
>> Mhm.
>> Trust what you see. Trust what you feel.
>> Mhm.
>> They telling them people don't trust what you see. Don't trust what you feel.
Trust what I say.
>> And what do they say? Anything that tells them to trust how they see and they feel, they call it a woke agenda. M >> black people 100 years ahead of you. We know better.
We know that the only time that you embrace journalism is when it benefits or covers up your corruption. We may be beyond the vote, but I also think that it's very interesting that we've reached a point where the people who said we not our ancestors are put in the same position they was put in. So now all the people that say we aren't our ancestors and they mean it derogatorily as if our ancestors was weak or docile people. Prove it.
>> We'll be right back after these commercial breaks.
>> We back. The cap.
>> Yo yo >> my [ __ ] >> Yo man.
>> Um I want to keep talking about this stand culture thing. All right. I'm pretty sure that people are going to be a little surprised by my Drake take, right? Okay.
>> They expect, you know, they expected me to come over here.
>> Yeah.
>> But I think the thing is is that it is entertainment.
>> It is.
>> I think there's there's something with Drake that happens. You know, he tries to occupy a lot of spaces.
>> He want to occupy the white space. He want to occupy the black space, right?
And then he want to occupy that Jew space. Hey, >> he's all he's a man that's all over the place.
>> Yeah.
>> He's got to figure this stuff out. And and this music isn't reflective of any involvement.
>> So, it doesn't require my criticism. It's just the thing is is that I understand what I said about it before.
>> Okay.
>> The beef was culture versus commerce. He represents the commerce in this thing.
>> So, >> on a commercial level, he's going to win >> every time. And I'm not mad about that.
And I don't need it to stop for me to still have an appreciation for the culture. That's you [ __ ] problems. And y'all don't understand what it is. But because you're so caught up in stand culture, >> Mhm. You feel like that that that you had to fight for this allegiance and to the point where the fanatic in you has made your allegiance to certain artists, certain people, certain thought processes, certain religions, certain dem certain certain um political parties. It's an extension of you >> instead of meant to be something that serves your life. Politics. Politicians are are are meant to serve the people, >> right?
>> They're not meant to be an extension of your personality.
>> Exactly.
>> They're they're actually meant to be a reflection of your morals.
>> Y'all done swapped out morality with personality. And now we have oligarchy.
Now we have people trying to take us back to the Jim Crow South.
>> And now we have people that are basically parading themselves around like dictators and those who follow him. Um, I don't really have to care for this [ __ ] and his his what what what what I can perceive to be his character.
Um, do you know the ber got a weird case? Why is he around? You know, why >> not somebody I would have around me?
Mm-m.
>> Not my business.
>> As far as rap goes, he lost the rap battle >> that he did.
>> I'm never going to say Drake is the best rapper. It's just not a thing.
>> No.
>> Doesn't mean he can't participate in the music business. Yeah.
>> He's going to still participate in the music business. And he's also not as vulnerable as a Little Flip or Jau Rule was.
>> You know, Ja Rule lose the battle to 50, lose the battle to the feds.
>> Damn.
little flip.
>> He just didn't You didn't You didn't have enough stain in the game to beef with TI that y'all was both emerging.
Flip was hot.
>> Flip was hot.
>> Flip was hot.
>> Yeah.
>> But in the sense of like cemented status in hip-hop, they was both still emerging. Ti won that battle.
>> T won that.
>> This was never going to be about Drake never rapping again. M >> um but it is about stand culture and you know the the biggest who's the most famous person that ever lived >> the most famous person that ever lived >> Michael Jackson >> and entertainment for sure having a glove is a little this is what I'm talking about this culture vultury >> collecting the artifacts like >> this is the colonizer [ __ ] >> Mhm. Mhm.
>> You Canadian. What you doing with Michael Jackson Glove? I get it though.
Everybody I mean he's a global artist.
>> Yeah. Globe icon.
>> He's a global icon. If he didn't get it, a [ __ ] in China would have got it >> for sure.
>> You know what I'm saying? But I'm just saying it seems like he likes to collect a lot of these hip-hop artifacts and you know, maybe he's a collector. Maybe maybe he has a high appreciation of art, but it just gets a little weird.
>> Yeah. Um and and then to go from being a benefactor of these corporate games to now being against the corporate entity and and you know he you know they said that he's about since he's out of his deal he's fulfilled his contract.
>> Yeah.
>> He's likely going to get like the biggest contract in music of all time >> probably.
>> But this is just in alignment with the times. Everything is inflated. Yeah.
>> The further we go along the more and more the numbers are going to go. the the higher the numbers are going to go because it's an inflation and you know >> is what it is. You know what I mean? I think if you compare you can start comparing deals and if you adjust for inflation you'll start to see those numbers just are in alignment, >> right?
>> So um you know it's not about hating on a [ __ ] I've already settled that within me. The [ __ ] lost the He lost.
>> He lost straight up.
>> It is what it is.
>> Yeah. This is the second, this is another chapter of your career.
>> You got to, you know, you you have to address the things that happened in the past. That's just natural processes of things. Um, but [ __ ] don't care. And it's like, y'all care too much about, y'all still want to hype this thing up?
Y'all still want it to be a him versus Kendrick thing. And you're going to limit, if you such a fan of a [ __ ] why limit his career to a beef with somebody else?
>> Because when Kendrick drop, nobody gonna be thinking about Drake, >> right?
>> Except for [ __ ] It's going to be [ __ ] online. But I'm, you know, I if if if we can if we can trace his career, he's the type of person that likes to move on from things. He moves on. He he goes into his inner sanctum and he finds his new topics and he deals with it and he comes out with album and then he keep going. So, you know, it's just like >> by diluting the music down to just continually trying to beef his fan base.
I'm speaking of >> Yeah. Yeah. diluting his music down to continually trying to beef with Kendrick is doing a disservice to him. But it is keeping him highly engaged on social media. But [ __ ] need to learn how to move on and let [ __ ] go. And it's hard to do that in the stand culture. Now, when I asked who the most famous person that ever lived was, my mentality was Jesus. I was going to go there, but I was like, I'm going to tell you why. That our lit our goddamn time shifted because of this nigga's >> Yeah. birth.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, and whether you believe in that or not is not here or there. I'm just saying.
>> Mhm.
>> The year that we live in is the the the the years post his birth, >> right?
>> Still talked about.
>> You know what I'm saying? I mean, he's he's popping.
>> I mean, he's he's in the streets. He's popping.
>> Yeah. Yes, sir.
>> He's popping. Yeah. He got his Now, this Jesus could be the big have the biggest stand base of all time.
biggest fan base of all time, >> I believe. So, >> [ __ ] die behind that [ __ ] >> [ __ ] die for that, son.
>> [ __ ] die for real, man. For real rap, son.
>> Hey, >> right now.
>> Right. Still.
>> Yeah.
>> I mean, [ __ ] at upon a [ __ ] death.
>> We hoping you going with them.
>> Yeah.
>> Stand culture may be an extension of religion.
>> This is what makes me think about this whole carbon nation thing. Oh my god.
>> Now this is He's weird.
>> Yeah.
>> Clearly dealing with some sort of mental illness.
>> Deanna was really she was all she she knew all about all that. So while it was going on, you know, they was on BGO.
>> Yeah.
>> And that's where they used to live stream from and everything. So she was like super tapped in already, >> right? Uh this is because she's she's you know Diana's into the spirituality and you know this hero and the horoscope and the universe and >> Diana is a spiritual girly. You know what I'm saying?
>> There she is.
>> And this is why I don't need spiritual advice from nobody else. This is why like >> I I I'm tapped there with the source. I got right now. You know what I'm saying?
I got it. I got it on tap.
>> Yeah, man. On demand.
>> Oh, >> for sure.
>> Yeah. I go holl at the ancestors right now >> if you need to.
>> You know what I'm saying? Um, but I I think the thing about carbonation, I think the thing about cults in general, and I think the the the specific the specific thing about this cult in its relation to black people is that this is not often a place where we see black people in as cults, like quote unquote cults. Yeah.
>> We see black people in in organized religion a lot.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Um and then when you break off and you branch off, then you see a little bit more co-likeing behavior.
>> Got you.
>> Um but carbonation is when we see like the cults in comparison to the cult you see documentaries about. Now these [ __ ] got a documentary show.
>> They do.
>> That's real cult.
>> That's real cultish.
>> That's real cult.
>> I want to think about this from in its relation to the vulnerability of deconstructing religion. M now deconstruction is also h comes with like a withdrawal process.
>> Okay.
>> The same thing that did you see happen with addiction and when you are in a 12step program or when you in rehab because you have these triggers and because you have these impulses that will drive you toward your addiction.
You need to find replacement behaviors to to to fire your dopamine receptors up. You need to find something else that sparks that dopamine within you so you can still receive the the adrenaline rush and the dopamine but not actively in the thing that's destroying you. So you try to find a positive replacement. A lot of people become thrill seekers because of this. A lot of people go to the gym. A lot of people use religion >> as a replacement for their addiction.
These people likely were deconstructing religion, learning a lot about African spirituality, learning a lot about the esoteric or what is termed new age spirituality >> and sought the structure of organized religion and sought the structure of a monotheistic >> leader. Right? You know, it's not a council of preachers at a church. It's one man.
>> Yeah.
>> One man representing that one God.
>> Yeah.
>> So, he becomes their leader of sorts. He becomes their connection to the universe.
>> Right.
>> But all he only thing he does is take the same structure of organized religion >> and infuses it with a lot of new age spirituality, a lot of esoteric knowledge.
And he forms a carbon nation and then he forms rituals.
>> You know, peace, reflection.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, I see you.
He he creates >> the same things that we get in religion.
The Hail Mary, the >> Yeah. You know, he he through his through he's obviously somebody that was bright enough to understand how to manipulate. Somebody with enough pattern recognition to realize how to siphon in all these different >> practices that are already established all these practices that these people are already used to.
>> Yeah.
>> And infuse it with a new message, his message to the point where it gets beyond the message and becomes just solely about him. And and there is a vulnerable space that you'll be in when you deconstruct religion. This is where you see people start converting to other religions. Yeah. This is where you see people leave Christianity and go to Islam or you see them leave Christianity and become a Buddhist. Yeah. Or a Rastafarian. You know, when you deconstruct religion, whatever the religion you were raised on, you when you when you get to the process of deconstructing that, you often start seeking other religions because this has been because religion is a very communal thing.
>> You don't do it on your own. You do it at a church. The church brings a community. You have a support system.
You have and and it's all tied into your faith in the God Almighty, right? I mean, what could be bigger than this, right? So the deconstruction of it will become a place where you feel like you're on an island. You feel like you're alone. And it and it goes back to this tribalism, >> right?
>> You feel like you've been kicked out of the village. Feel like that lone wolf.
Nobody wants to feel like that. So then you start seeking a support system. You start seeking people that are like-minded. And then you get in a little D. You get a little pocket. You get a little pocket. You get catch get caught up in a little pocket on Twitter.
>> Mhm.
>> All these people the the amen the a ye cu.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> And then you get you then you [ __ ] around and you send a [ __ ] $300,000 and you end up in Costa Rica. I mean, you know, >> got 300,000.
>> Listen, man. I'mma tell y'all this right now.
You send me $300,000. That land that land getting bought.
>> Yeah, for sure.
>> I'mma try to find something for 200.
>> Yeah.
>> So, we give us a little >> Give us a little something. We got to get supplies.
>> We got to get supplies.
>> I'm going to go holl at my boy Wayne Swanson. Can we build here?
>> Yeah. Can we build right here?
>> Can we do irrigation? Can we do agriculture? You know, make sure all this [ __ ] is on, right?
>> I mean, it look good though from what it from what it what it was presented as.
And in Costa Rica, you in the nature.
You with your people.
>> The nature boy. You know what I'm saying? And and then you outside of Babylon.
>> Yeah. You outside of >> you outside of America.
>> You you living close to how your ancestors live.
>> Yeah.
>> If I would have got there [ __ ] would have said, "Yo, give me your passport and all your money." I would say, "Yo, send me back to the airport right now, son."
>> I don't I would just start walking.
>> Take me back right now.
>> Yeah.
>> Give you what? And take the what?
>> And then you know this and here's the thing. And and you know common common trait of cult leaders.
>> Mhm.
>> Man, they like to [ __ ] >> Oh my god. Oh my god. This man was taking I mean separating the separating the women from the men.
>> [ __ ] [ __ ] He didn't care.
>> He he did not care.
>> You had a whole It was anything go.
>> Oh my god. It's the same [ __ ] that said, "Oh, I had my dick out in front of my son. I have sex."
>> Didn't he say he had sex while this old lady was breastfeeding a child?
>> I think so.
>> He's a weird [ __ ] >> He's a weird [ __ ] >> Not only is he all the LGBT and the Q, >> this [ __ ] is a P, too. Pedophile.
>> He's a pedophile. Yeah, >> cuz that's pedophile behavior.
>> Pedophile behavior.
>> It's nasty [ __ ] >> Yeah.
>> This is what happens when you just take mental illness to Costa Rica >> and you give them a cell phone.
>> Oh my god. Oh my god.
>> Oh. Oh. The things you can conjure up in nature.
>> Oh man. By yourself, baby.
>> Start calling yourself nature boy.
>> Nature boy.
>> Nature boy I know is Ric Flair.
>> Yeah. Woo baby.
>> Jet flying.
>> Limousine.
>> Limousine rotten. Willing Dylan.
>> Kiss stealing.
>> Kiss stealing.
>> Yeah, baby.
>> Son of a gun.
>> Yeah, man. AND I'M HAVING A HARD TIME KEEPING THESE GATORS DOWN.
>> YEAH, BABY. Only nature boy I know.
>> That's the only nature boy I know. I know who that [ __ ] is, though.
>> Know this [ __ ] in Costa Rica.
>> Who's this [ __ ] >> Nature boy.
>> Who's this English speaking [ __ ] in a Spanish speaking country calling himself Nature Boy?
>> Nature Boy.
>> How you even get down there, son?
>> I don't even know how he got down. Oh, no. He was getting that money. No, they was getting money.
>> They was sending them money. And now listen, here's the thing about the [ __ ] in the cult, man. You find [ __ ] that are very vulnerable.
>> And this is the vulnerability of deconstructing religion. Once you once you leave >> Mhm. See, this is the thing. The fear the the the the biological fear is being kicked out. This is why people are people pleasers.
>> Okay.
>> This is why people seek to be agreeable.
You need to make a lot of compromises.
This is why manipulators understand this, too. [ __ ] don't want to be exiled. You don't want to be kicked out the village.
>> This [ __ ] is in you, >> right?
>> It's in you.
>> So, I just had a thought.
Imagine imagine we would have showed up to Costa Rica. BIG >> BIG ICE CUT.
>> OH, we been out there getting knocked.
DICK.
>> We would have took over the live. We would have took over the stream. Beat this [ __ ] out. [ __ ] this [ __ ] [ __ ] out of here. [ __ ] this [ __ ] son. You got rid of nature.
>> Can't go down, [ __ ] [ __ ] you, >> [ __ ] Got rid of this [ __ ] Yeah, new leaders are here.
>> Yeah. Yeah. [ __ ] we here now.
>> All the [ __ ] reporting. Big ice guy.
>> All you [ __ ] get your passport off.
>> Yeah. All you [ __ ] got to go. I'm going to keep two of you [ __ ] for labor.
>> We need three of you [ __ ] >> I need three three strong [ __ ] Swag equity. Yeah. Yeah. Got to get swag.
>> I need I need some sweat equity. I know you [ __ ] ain't got no money. Yeah, you get some sweat equity out you [ __ ] want to be in Costa Rica [ __ ] up playing case every day.
>> Yeah, man.
>> Do I do you see me wake up on big butt naked?
Yo, >> what I do?
>> Took over the carbon nation.
>> My love, I took over Carbonation.
>> Oh my god.
>> Like, yeah, man. We heard you [ __ ] Uh, and then the B broke out of Babylon, man.

Hit that [ __ ] out.
>> They hit that [ __ ] with a 3D out there.
>> Get that off. We your new leader, man.
>> Yeah, we your new leaders now.
>> Which one of you [ __ ] got herpes?

>> Yeah, >> we starting we starting new. We starting fresh over here, baby.

>> You got to share that [ __ ] with somebody too.
>> Oh man. And they don't want to hear that [ __ ] >> They don't want to hear that. Hey, shut them by no piece and no reflection. I don't hear nothing about none of that.
>> I don't hear nothing about that.
>> I wonder who he rocking with though.
>> I wonder who he rocking with.
>> Nah, he got Listen, bro. If you could do it in the free world, >> you can do it in the prison.
>> You could find some You could He He probably He probably doing all right.
>> I don't know.
>> But he was beating up some [ __ ] ass [ __ ] Like that's what I'm saying.
>> He beating up He was beating up men and women. He ain't give a [ __ ] That's >> what I'm saying.
>> Yeah. He got that pack though. That's what was going to keep a [ __ ] off him.
>> Oh, he had a pack.
I ain't getting that. No. Well, no, it was very well. It was Well, not the not the not the big pack. He got He got like a quarter pack.
>> Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
>> Um, >> but yeah, it was very well known. They was out there just handing out the herbs.
>> That's crazy.
>> Yeah, they passing that around. Um, and you know, they was under Dr. Sebie. They thought that Dr. Sebby died.
>> You know, they thought the sea was going to get rid of >> No. No, >> that ain't how that happened.
>> How they work? No, baby.
>> That's with That's with you.
>> Need that Babylonian medicine.
>> Yeah. Yeah. You need that Babylonian medicine, bro.
>> Um, but I'm just thinking like, dang, imagine laying as far as I can see, fresh fruit, drinking out the river.
>> Mhm.
>> Just [ __ ] >> getting your thoughts off on Big Go, making money.
>> Yeah.
>> To a [ __ ] 5 by9.
>> Yeah.
>> Now you're drinking toilet wine. O.
Oh, now you getting everything Babylon got to offer.
>> Hey, listen. Babylon.
>> Oh, Bab.
>> This Babylon down here, baby, >> man. That's a tough one, bro.
>> That's a tough sir.
>> That's a tough fall.
>> That's a tough fall from Grace. Then he was f to get out. Like I think they only gave the [ __ ] like I think his max out.
He max out at like life. Something like that.
>> 25.
>> Yeah. Max out at life. This [ __ ] was had the the the sentence he originally got would have afforded him like he would have got out within I think the next 10 years.
>> That [ __ ] went bucking on the judge.
She said, "You know what, [ __ ] You going to go ahead and do life? We just going to go ahead and give you life.
>> Give you life."
>> [ __ ] talked itself into life.
>> Talk just know when to shut the [ __ ] up.
>> Exactly.
>> Yeah.
>> Cuz the Nature Boy [ __ ] got to >> Yeah. Nature Boy got you [ __ ] up.
>> Even know this [ __ ] real name.
>> Yeah. Just Nature Boy.
>> Nature Boy. All right. Let me go to the final topic. In connection to stay in culture, in connection to black culture.
>> Mhm.
>> Um, black entertainment and and and greatness is bound yet boundless. And I say this boundless. Think about what's going on this week. We got Back Rooms coming out. Yeah.
>> With uh Don't want to mess up his name.
>> Great actor though.
>> Great actor.
>> I know you're talking about >> is God is God is.
>> Got to check that out.
>> Yeah. I want to see that. Um, Boosters.
>> Want to see that, too.
>> We got some good [ __ ] coming out.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I want to see that.
>> We have great great black leads. Two of those films. Um, um, written and directed by black people.
>> Mhm.
>> Black actor, black cast. I mean, beautiful to be able to celebrate these things all at once.
>> Whereas in the past, this is one at a time. M.
>> So, black entertainment and greatness is boundless yet limited with the obsession of competition.
>> Limited by the obsession of competition.
The spotlight should be shown on the bleachers, but instead has been that of a rotating musical chair.
>> See, we could shine the spotlight on the bleachers. This is what's happening now.
But when it comes to hip-hop, there's still this air of competition that we're obsessed with. So the the reason why they can't let go of the Drake verse Kendrick thing >> is this obsession with competition that exists in black entertainment >> and in the in the in the you know the vastness of black greatness. We get into this place where we can compare. There doesn't need to be a goat or a proverbial number one, but access access for black entertainers has been limited to this one at a time bubble >> to the point where we start comparing [ __ ] peaks.
>> Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. For sure.
>> Yeah.
>> We start comparing their peaks.
You understand what I'm saying?
>> And and and and that is something that's incomparable.
One peak ain't going to look like the next. Why are we comparing it? And and and by this obsession with competition and and we say, "Oh, it's it's a culture." Well, you know, things can change. There was no constitution.
>> There was no constitution. We can evolve. You are not a tree. You can move.
>> Yeah, >> we can evolve. We can evolve past this need for competition. There there now competition comes from what? Scarcity.
scarcity mindset.
Competition comes from what?
It's a limiting factor.
>> Now, healthy competition is great. It keeps everybody sharp. It keeps people on point. But when your critique is rooted in competition, when your critique is rooted in being a fanatic, it it it limits the bounds of greatness in entertainment. And because access had been limited to this one at a time thing, >> okay, >> there was this need for somebody to be the greatest.
>> That's how limited it was. The greatest.
Everybody got to be the greatest. This is a competition.
>> We could do away with competition and we need to embrace community. You don't have to pick one or the other.
We could do away with the stand culture.
>> These [ __ ] ain't your gods.
>> They're just men.
>> They're just women.
>> Mhm.
They're just people. They're people who have pursued their passions and became deified for it.
>> Now whether they embrace that deity or not and and refuse, you know, when you embrace the deification, then you you relinquish your individualism.
>> Individualism is important, but community is the end all beall. It should be community. You need somebody to embrace these things with. There's a reason why they they they give you these monikers.
It's only at the top.
>> Yeah.
>> They give you these things, but it doesn't just have to be. Not if you have a foundation, >> not if you don't [ __ ] [ __ ] over.
>> Mhm.
>> You take care of your people, it won't be lonely.
And you might be the one.
So it may be hard for you to find people in your circle that understand what you go through. But when you the one, guess what you do? You attract other number ones.
>> And then you find solace in your positions in life. But when you in competition, you feel very isolated.
This need for competition not only needs to be done away with by the entertainers.
You know, this idea that there's not enough room for everybody, needs to be done away with. This is not a musical chair. This is a bleacher.
>> It's a bleacher. It's room for everybody to eat. And y'all look good when y'all do it together.
I'm glad is God is and boosters drops right around the same time.
>> Yeah.
>> It's not about competition or comparison.
It's about shining light on greatness.
These two directors aren't in competition with each other. They're making two different films.
>> They're expressing yourself in two different ways. It's not about competition.
It's a collaborative effort. It's a celebratory time for black people and black entertainment.
>> For sure.
>> But y'all would reduce things to competition because you used the access being limited. Well, listen, man. We creating our own accesses now.
You don't got to pick one or the other because when you limit yourself to competition, then you open yourself up to being a loser.
>> When your pursuit of your passion is competitive and that competition isn't within within self, see that the competition should be within itself to be better.
>> When you see other greatness, it should inspire you, not create envy.
When you see other people being great, you shouldn't say that should be me. You should say what are they doing so I can start applying some of those things to myself.
>> Facts.
>> If they can achieve it, I can too.
>> Facts.
>> You shouldn't see humanity as this thing that has to be swapped out, that has to be siphoned.
Humanity is a university.
We should be looking at each other to learn.
>> We should be looking at each other and say, "Hey, >> we all got these same capabilities. Your passion ain't my passion. Your gifts ain't my gift. But the opportunities is for all of us, >> right?
>> What did you do so I could apply it to myself and use my passion and my gift to navigate to those same opportunities.
>> Navigate myself to the place I want to be.
>> Absolutely.
>> [ __ ] ain't on the red carpet talking about who got the better pictures.
>> [ __ ] on the red carpet like, "Hey bro, we on the red carpet.
>> On the red carpet.
>> What y'all do? Who wore the best dress?"
everything competition to keep things limited >> to keep you out.
>> See, when there's obsession with competition opens you up to being a loser >> cop. Now, when you when you take the when you take the former, you open yourself up to collaboration >> and you keep the competition within self, you welcome yourself into being a winner.
Because we can all win, we can all eat.
But this access has been limited. And this is not doings of our own. [ __ ] recognize what your history is. Know what you come from. Know why they didn't want Sydney Portier Sydney Portier to have any they want five Sydney Portier even though it was very much possible.
>> Understand why they embraced Jackie Robinson and did away with the Negro League. [ __ ] was going to watch [ __ ] to play ball.
>> Mhm.
>> And not that boring ass cracker jackass baseball they was playing.
>> It's the reason why they integrated.
It's the reason why they allowed us in their spaces because when we operate on our own, that's what everybody wants to see.
So what they do with their integration is remove our infrastructure and keep our talent. M >> and then they get to dictate the value of the talent whileing you out to competition.
>> There doesn't have to be a goat or number one. The access is no longer limited. And we don't need to compare people at their peaks. We need to appreciate them cuz the spotlight should be shown on the bleachers and not just this rotating musical chair.
>> We'll be right back after these commercial breaks.
We back. Okay, we are busy.
>> Yeah, >> we are back.
>> We back, baby.
>> Um, you know, look, if you made it this far, there's a thing that you can do on the video called hype in the video. That really helps it out. That really helps us get the push. So, if you go down to the ellipses, three dots. It's three dots.
>> Scroll. Scroll.
>> Hit hype that video, man. Hype the video, man.
>> Hype the video, >> you know. Like, share, subscribe. Hype.
M >> you know, clip that [ __ ] >> Clip it.
>> Clip it. Okay.
Um 657234 eggs. That's 6572343447 if you would like to call in and leave a voice message. All right, we're going to get to these voice to these emails, man, into these voice notes. Let's do it.
>> What's up, Deontay? Hey guys, Cupcat.
This is Dre. I'm a studio music and jazz major. I just graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville as of today. Today was our graduation day. And as I think about my next step, I wanted to ask >> graduation season when it came to moving and setting roots in a new city or a new area. I want to study up in New Jersey. I got a few friends who were up there who also graduated from UT. and I'm originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but I'm currently staying in Knoxville. My question is, how do you go about creating or joining a community when you first set roots in a new city? Say maybe the first few weeks, the first two weeks, what are some of the first things you'll do to kind of establish yourself within certain groups of people? You know, I really want to hit the ground running and just be intentional with those who I seek out and get to know.
And also, there any cousins up there?
Yeah, I want to get to know some of y'all, you know, and um yeah, also if anyone need a roommate, just let me know.
But yeah, that's really it. And uh yeah, how do I kind of start a new and you know, get things going? Appreciate it.

>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think I think I believe he said Jersey. Um, let me see. If you're going to Jersey, >> I wanted to ask advice when it came to moving and setting roots in a new city or a new area. I want to study up in New Jersey. I got a few friends who were up there who also graduated from UT and I'm originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but I'm currently staying in Knoxville.
Question is, how do you go about?
>> So, he's studying it. He going to study in New Jersey. Currently live in Knoxville. Yeah. So, any of the New Jersey cousins may make yourself, you know what I'm saying? Listen, brother.
Make yourself known in Discord.
>> You know what I'm saying? And and you'll find some folks. But also, again, find out where the [ __ ] at.
>> Find out where the [ __ ] at.

>> You know, the [ __ ] at the coffee shop know the [ __ ] They know [ __ ] This thing often times [ __ ] get pigeon holed in the coffee shop, man. You think these [ __ ] is everything they do is woke.
>> These [ __ ] like to shake ass, too, bro. Yeah.

>> So they know everything from the highs to the [ __ ] lows. But find yourself, you know, find find a black li find a black bookstore or library.

Listen, bro. Young man, bro, we we've we've all been there, bro.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> And I get it, man. When it's like you feel like you've done everything right and now like the opportunities ain't aligning, bro. Those are some of the toughest spots you be in in life. a brother. When you come out on that other side, you going to look back and you're going to appreciate those times cuz it showed you the value of like really just what it means to like when you going to keep going, bro. Like you can't you have to be in a space where you refuse to let this be the thing that break you. If you can go through, follow through and get your bachelors and and I don't no [ __ ] you know, science and engineering, bro. It's not no joke.
>> Ain't no joke.
>> And you you looking for a space to to get your feet wet and you will find that, bro. But just don't don't give your hope up.
>> It's okay to go through a space of discouragement. Uh we've all been there.
So I won't tell you to speed yourself out of it. But understand that like you know change going to come, my [ __ ] If anybody uh is in science and engineering and they know of any opportunities that they can help this young man get, whether that be in uh at home, like whether it be a work from home situation >> or whether that be somewhere where he can get internship or somewhere somewhere where this young man can get his start, >> please reach out to us or reach out to him directly. Um he left his number um and we just going to let that rock out.
He's obviously looking for opportunity to the point where he put that out there. Yeah.
>> So, we going to let him we going we going to honor this man with >> you. Yeah. Yeah.

Good morning, Deontay and the greatest co-host in the world, Big Ice Cup Cap.
Hope all is well. Huge fan of the podcast. Just caught a clip on Tik Tok 2024. Been tapping in ever since. Doing the knowledge, reaching out for advice and hoping the cousins can help. I'm in I'm a high school AP literature teacher with eight years in the classroom. Oh, shout out to to the real AP >> AP. But I'm absolutely over it.
>> God damn it.
>> Damn it, y'all burning these teachers out. She says, "I've been burned out since 2022 and I can't seem to bag another roll despite getting a handful of interviews. I've been targeting learning and development training as it's a natural transition from teaching, but I'm not moving past the second round because my resume doesn't include my resume doesn't include an a direct L & D job title experience.
>> My ultimate goal is to work for a company with like-minded hopefully black individuals where I can make actually make an impact. I'm based in Dallas, Texas, so I'm open to roles in the area or fully remote. I'm also considering moving back home to Maryland to be close to my grandmother in Baltimore while she goes through cancer treatment. If there are any cousins out there in the L &D space willing to share some advice or insight on breaking in, that would mean a lot. Love the show. Keep going. Hey man, help our cousin get into the L &D space.
>> She can't keep being out here burnt out in the classroom.
>> She burnt out.
>> She burnt out. She want to be in learning and development training.
>> Learning and development. Any cousin in the L &D space, please reach out to me.
Let me know something. I will link you up with the cousin and then we gonna get this [ __ ] cracking.
>> Yeah, man.
>> You hear what I mean?
>> All right.
Hello, Gristex family. My name is Blank.
She is in the Discord. I wanted to reach out regarding my son, Maxwell. Maxwell, 10-year-old, and was recently nominated for National Youth Leadership Forum.
>> Okay. The NYF Pathways to STEM, a prestigious academic program where students learn from engineers, doctors, and STEM professionals at select universities.
Okay. This opportunity means so much to us because Maxwell has always struggled with feeling like he fits in. He is not naturally athletic or sports focused like many boys his age. At times, it has affected his confidence socially.
However, academically, he is absolutely phenomenal. He is incredibly intelligent, curious, mature, deeply interested in technology, engineering, video games, and how the systems work behind the scenes. For the first time, he has the opportunity to be surrounded by children who are think like him, dream like him, and are passionate about learning and innovation. I truly believe this experience could help shape how he sees himself in his future.
Maxwell's biological father battles with addiction. As a parent, I am constantly searching for positive environments and mentorship and community that can guide Maxwell towards the future he deserves.
Many resources and programs for young boys are often centered around athletics and children struggling behaviorally or academically. But there are not always enough spaces created for gifted, quiet, intellectually driven children who simply need encouragement, exposure, and people who believe in them.
We are currently trying to raise funds to help cover his tuition so he can attend this life-changing program. I'm reaching out to the cousins to potentially build a community from outside of this experience. Also, [ __ ] with us cousins.
This being thank you all for taking time to read this message. Thank you for everything you do in the community. I hope I've posted information in Discord under it takes a village session.
Oh yeah, the the it takes a village tab on Discord. Man, let's help our young nephew, man.
>> Yeah, man.
>> Listen, this will do.
Set up an official fundraiser through What's the What's the What's the What's the thing that's not? It's It's Go for me. And there's another thing.

>> Yeah, Max Webb.
>> And um he need like $3,400 to cover tuition, but I don't know how much we going to need. Yeah, cuz she just got like a donation link to cash up. I don't want to do that.
>> Yeah, don't do that. Yeah, she got like a flyer and everything. It look official.
>> Okay.
>> I mean, I don't think you know.
>> I think she be lying on Maxwell.
>> No, I ain't lying on Maxwell.
>> Yeah, >> we going we going to see what we do. I'm gonna reach out to him.
>> Yeah, >> get that together. I got that.
>> All right, last email, then we going to get up out of here. Oh, we at the two two 211 >> 211 mark.
>> Oh, yeah. Still reserved.
>> It's been a minute, but it's been 211 mark, >> man. We I don't know. This might be the longest one.
>> Yeah, >> man. Man, we back, man. You know what I'm saying? We giving y'all a guest, man. [ __ ] is back. The boys is back in town, man.
>> Boys is back, baby.
>> Real nature, boys.
>> What's up, Deontay? Big ice cup. Kvasier cat.
>> Oh my.
>> I've been rocking out with y'all since last year. Specifically after Deontay was cooking with them Birkin bags.
Sand Dre got a C full of [ __ ] Funny as hell. Since then, I've been tapping in religiously. Even joined the Patreon last month. Oh, hey. $8.
>> What's up, cousin?
Keep doing what y'all do. I love the space y'all have created for us. Anyway, just turned 30 at the beginning of the year. Trying to figure out direction my life and career. Live in South Tennessee with my girl and work at a factory honestly pays better than any job that I have. It's got good benefits, but the work to me is very menial and I don't like the people I work with. My co-workers, specifically the black ones, are a little too antiquated for me. The white people are just racist. That ain't nothing new. But the black ones, men and women, are just basically a bunch of free Tory lane ass [ __ ] Jesus.
>> Oh my.
>> Who, as an example, on one night shift got involved in a game of 20 questions in which they came up with fake scenarios of when it would be okay to hit a woman.
>> What?
>> Intentionally trying to get me to agree with them, knowing I wouldn't. Deontay big cat. I hate this place.
I came to the job from Atlanta with a plan of working my way up in the corporate space, but I wasn't making real money in Atlanta. I was working as a PA and I was trying to be a television writer, storyboard artist. But the writer strike happened in 2023 made me question stability industry. I thought I wanted to be in so bad. So my uncle advised me to come work at his job in Tennessee. Just put some money in my pocket. I said, "Fuck it." Since I already had my bachelors, have worked in clerical positions before. My uncle was in HR, I thought I could shoot my way up in a year. But after the racism, coonery, misogyny, and joining employee programs that brand the idea of promoting success and hiring from within.
I'm learning that it what it takes. I'm starting that it takes a long long time to get in the roles that I want and I'm not that patient. And on top of that, at this time, the company has been downsizing. They even laid off his uncle.
So, I'm better get out. Yeah, you better get up out of there. My girl and I didn't even want to come here in the first place. Okay.
>> Um, this and that's where the problem lies. We're trying to figure out where we'll go next uh once our lease is up in February. Currently trying to get my CAPM by late summer, early fall to become project manager. I want to lead programs and do community based work, local government type work. give back to my community as a full-time profession and make enough money to be stable enough to buy a home and start a family.
Yes, [ __ ] The American dream.
>> I want to do this work in a black city like ATL or CLT. However, my girl is from Seattle. She's down to go where I go. She she lived in ATL since 2015. Is even interested in trying Charlotte, but I know she misses home and her family.
While I'm incredibly fearful to move out that way, I would never want to keep her away from her family. I told her after I get my certification, I will apply for jobs in multiple cities.
But is it wrong that I hope we settle down south? Should I pour my all into Seattle, which surprisingly has way more black people than I thought, or am I overthinking the situation and just go where God guides me? You know, [ __ ] No, Seattle does have like a boom and black population and Tacoma is right there.
>> Mhm.
>> We going to Seattle.
>> Yeah.
>> I'm going to hike when I go out though.
>> Mount St. Hill.
>> You see what I'm saying?
>> You see what I'm saying? Yeah.
>> I just want to be a good provider to this woman I hope to be with forever. I want her to take her I want to take her opinions into consideration. I want to make a career doing something that matter to me. I'm honestly ashamed that I haven't gotten there yet by 30. Any advice will help. Listen, it takes a while.
>> Takes a minute.
>> Um, I didn't have it figured out by 30.
Um, here's the thing. You want it, you'll get it. You already obviously are the type of person that understands how to plan and go forth with things. I think I think I think we try Seattle.
>> I think do both. Do show in Seattle.
Apply.
>> Well, of course, but I I mean I think you just stay away from Atlanta. Just >> Yeah. Stay away from Atlanta.
>> Get out of Atlanta. Yeah. Let Atlanta go.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, you tried Atlanta. It didn't work.
It It's not, you know, there's there's more places of opportunity in this country for black people.
>> Let's try Charlotte.
>> Yeah.
>> But the reason why I say Seattle is because you could tell that she's she homes.
>> Yeah. She want to go to Seattle.
>> Here's the thing. And nobody It's obviously permanent hasn't been a thing for y'all, but y'all are getting older. Mhm.
>> You never know.
You never know.
What if you go to Seattle and you have the [ __ ] career and time of your [ __ ] life? Listen, I'm from the South.
>> Mhm.
>> I know how that [ __ ] is. I don't want to leave this [ __ ] >> Yeah.
>> I'm so comfortable down here.
>> It just makes sense.
>> It's not even about a culture shock.
It's like this where I want to be.
>> Yeah.
>> But your girl from out there and you got to make compromises in relationships.
You do.
>> And I think that we sleep on like the kind of economy Seattle has. Like that's a booming city, son. It is. That's a That's a That's really a joint.
>> I think you'll be all right.
>> You'll be all right, man. I think >> I think that um like you said, listen, first first and foremost, trying to get your CAPM and doing it is two different things.
>> Yeah.
>> Do it.
Also, start a job. Start applying for jobs in your that's within your degree right now. Yeah. Start listen let's just try it out. Let's just see because see this is another thing too. This is a transitional period.
Y'all don't have any kids.
What if you find a job in Seattle?
>> Yeah.
>> She got family out there.
>> Mhm.
>> I don't know. I don't know. Seattle don't seem like the type of place where [ __ ] is moving to be broke.
>> Yeah, >> I ain't I, you know, I'm not judging.
I'm sure poverty is universal. But here's the thing. Maybe you going to stay with the folks for a little bit.
You know, get yourself stable. Get on your feet. Yeah.
>> She'll be happy cuz she'll be back home.
>> Yep.
>> Y'all going, you know, get get you get the wind behind your back, son.
>> Yeah, man.
>> That's all we looking for.
>> Yeah.
>> But don't be trying to get your CAP on.
>> Get it. Go get that [ __ ] get it.
>> Cuz before you know it, the end of summer will be here and you be like, "I'm still trying." You ain't got time for that. You got to consider this woman, too. You know what I'm saying?
She holding you down. But if you want to start a family, you know, I'll say this, the the action to do something that you know just going to make her happy is intrinsically just going to be better for your relationship.
>> It's just going to make the relationship better. She's going to feel considered.
she's going to feel thought about. And we have to also stop this mentality of like, I need to do more. I got to have it all figured out by this time. That woman ain't going nowhere. That woman love you. She want to start a family with you. So, let's do let's make a gesture that's extremely considerate of her.
Why you figure other things out? You 30 years old. If you don't start out with money, most people ain't going to have it figured out by 30. I didn't have it figured out at 30, but boy, these last five years I was on my way. You know what I'm saying? I had started in a truck, probably been in truck about a little a little good year, good year and some change. No, I think I think I I got truck driving. I got my CDL in 2019. So, yeah, I was only a year. I was getting no money, [ __ ] I was figuring it out.
I was doing a hype. I was in my career, but [ __ ] we didn't get no money. just trying to figure it out and you figuring it out. But I think that I think you know I think you know >> you need to do something for her.
>> But I know that you you know selfishly you want to stay in the south.
>> Yeah.
>> But she's been extremely selfless >> with everything.
>> So it's time for you to exercise some selflessness.
>> Let that girl you know go out there. You never know man if she happier.
>> Yeah. You happy? You happy?
>> You don't want to have to adapt, but she's been adapting.
>> Yeah.
>> So, it's time for some reciprocation, bro.
>> Seattle up, brother.
>> Seattle it up. Help to that P that PMW.
>> Mhm.
>> And And you never know. You know, kept on stage though.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, opportunities out there, my [ __ ] Go get it to it. I think that you scared to jump. Yeah, you scared to jump.
>> But I'm telling you to jump. You >> got to jump, brother.
>> You got to jump. And you know, you have a support system out there. Your uncle was your support system in Tennessee.
>> And and and that writing is on the wall.
Don't be the [ __ ] that wait until >> the ink dry and now you out of a [ __ ] job and now you desperate.
>> Yeah.
>> The writing is on the wall.
Let's stop worrying about moving up in this company and focus on how the [ __ ] we going to get out of it.
>> Yeah. Let's get to Seattle. and let's get to Seattle.
>> Yeah, >> you'll have a support system out there in her family. Um, y'all seem like some good young folks.
>> Take that leap, my [ __ ] >> Yep.
>> Well, this has been episode 147.
>> God damn. What episode next Paul says?
>> What Paul says?
>> This is episode 147 of the Carbonation podcast.
>> Grizz podcast, man. I am your host.
Deontay >> K.
>> But who is behind the camera?
>> The coolest co-host, Big Ice Cup Cat.
>> How you feeling, man? You You ready to do this [ __ ] >> God damn. This long.
>> It's a long episode, baby.
>> God damn.
>> This probably the longest one we've ever had.
>> I think it's the longest one, man. Two hour two two.
>> Oh, there.
>> Too much West Coast dick licking.
>> Uhoh.
We at 222.
>> Yeah. Yeah, man. You know what I'm saying?
>> It's time to end it there. Yeah, it's time to go.
>> Yeah, let's just end it for the spiritual girlies right there.
>> Yeah. Yeah. 22.
>> All right, man. Well, [ __ ] Like, hype the video, subscribe, uh, [ __ ] with us.
Um, Grist podcast live in Costa Rica.
We'll see y'all.
>> You know what I'm saying? It's just hip-hop. It's just, you know what I'm saying? It's just my [ __ ] It's just raps, man. Turn me up, man. It's just raps.
>> I just want to rap, you know? I just want to rap, man. I just want to rap.
>> Yeah.
was man.
>> Yeah.
>> They say without the proper labor, faith don't stand a chance. I put my faith in faith and stand on bird on land. I planted seeds that'll indeed turn into trees be for rest in peace. Tees get printed of me unless impeded.
Matter of fact, that got me thinking back when Mr. love was tending to his garden, schooling me to annuity before he grabbed his clubs to go golfing. And it's no coincidence that Do still had the caddy back when woods were still the best. Don't let me roll off course here.
Georgie Pops was dropping jams while I was lighting s. But you know, I too was listening with both ears.
>> You see, that's the best that I can do.
Wisdom is the application of knowledge.
I was picking up what he was putting down, just wasn't applying it. I ain't denying it. Nah, maybe I was too busy trying to find the balance between religion and science, trying to get to the bottom of everything while being the highest like a pilot's roots. Am I right, brother?
>> Cuz I was simultaneously relaying it through reason and rhying that I sought for us. Dissecting systems responsible for our imprisonment. A visionary with a stigmatism and scoring.
If love is blind, then what am I? You can't fight fate. That's whyad.
