Former Spirit Airlines workers suing, saying they weren't given proper layoff notice本站添加:
Former workers for Spirit Airlines claim they are still owed back pay and benefits after the company pulled the plug. Six workers are now suing saying they were not given proper layoff notices. They also claim they are still owed money for hours worked and vacation days not taken. The airline abruptly ceased all operations earlier this month. If the lawsuit expands to a class action, it could represent around 17,000 workers. A Spirit spokesperson said the company doesn't comment on litigation.
