This analysis exposes how elite organizations prioritize internal gatekeeping over genuine community progress, revealing a leadership structure more concerned with image than impact. It is a sobering look at how institutional loyalty often becomes a barrier to true accountability.

Roland Martin PUT IN CHECK… By The Boule追加:
Rolling Roland Roland Martin gets checked by the Boule.
the Boule, Ronald Martin's legacy organization that's behind a lot of quote unquote black success.
They put Roland Martin in check for uh giving condolences and clout chasing off of the murder suicide between uh Justin Fairfax and Dr. Serena Fairfax.
For those y'all know, um the former lieutenant governor shot and killed his wife before killing himself and apparently he was part of the Boule and Roland acknowledged that. So the Boule put him in check.
The Boule is a is a for those who don't know is a secret society.
here in the United States. It's a fraternity and it's a fraternity that a lot of you blacks that get to the top happen to be a part of.
Uh there's a video that Dr. Short and I did years ago on the Boule that I actually put on my Patreon. It's over on my Patreon. I took it off YouTube because um people would watch it later on. It it would get strikes like a year or two after I did it. So, that video is now over on Patreon if you want to see the breakdown of the Boule that I did with Dr. Randy Short. As a matter of fact, I think Dr. Short and I it's about time for us to do another breakdown of the Boule over on Patreon.
So, that's what we about to talk about today. In the meantime, welcome chat room. Welcome everybody here. Welcome everybody here. Appreciate y'all for joining. Make sure y'all head over to instance.com and I have a new article up on Ali Loyy's hidden lens.
Ali Loy is the man that was behind the show Everybody Hates Chris.
And he did he has an uh he has an art show going on here in LA.
and he had an amazing job taking pictures from everybody. These are a bunch of pictures that he took while on set of Everybody Hates Chris. As you can see some of those pictures in the background. I took them kind of far away because I would prefer that you go if you're in LA, you go downtown to the gallery to see the pictures that he took. if whether you're a fan of Everybody Hates Chris. Now, if you're not a fan, I don't know what's wrong with you, but if it's it's a good that was one of the greatest family shows to ever exist on TV.
So, I did a write up and it was it was great seeing people who came down. My man Mike Esté, Tasha Arnold was there. Um, actually, I'm going have Mike Estay on the next Hidden History Museum show.
He's going to be on the next Hidden Hidden History Museum show.
Immani Hakeim was there.
So yeah, but check that article out right now at incense and ashtrays.com.
That was a great picture he took of Tasha and these were all pictures that he took unsuspecting. He just was right there. So go and check that article right now at incense andastrays.com.

This is what I do when y'all support me.
that allows me freedom to check out events like this and document document document document our history and our culture and that's what we doing at blackbandfamilytree.org.
We're documenting the culture.
We're documenting the culture. Okay, so that's what we up to. In the meantime, what's up chat room?

So, this is what happened. All right, let me pull the tweets up.
No, what are you doing? Here we go.
Let me pull the tweets up.
Because these tweets were pulled.
So, I got some screenshots of the tweets.
This how this all happened. We're going to break down what happened, then we're going to break down the boule aspect of it. All right. This how it happened.
Roland Martin um the former lieutenant governor of Virginia shot and killed his wife and then killed himself allegedly.
Apparently, I should say neither of them are here to sue me, but still I'mma say that. Um and no disrespect cuz it's that's a that's a bad that's that's a bad uh that's bad juju, you know. It's bad juju.
No disrespect because you know that's this is a very sad and unfortunate situation. Well, Roland Martin decided to show a picture that he took with those two and cloud chase off the moment. This where cloud chasing goes wrong and Roland Martin wrote today's Roland Martin unfiltered is going to be very difficult. I knew Justin and his wife Dr. Swina Fairfax.
I was simply stunned this morning when hearing I'mma say no Roland Martin sounds like Jack A. Let me let me go let me put in my Jack A voice. And no disrespect to Jack A because Jack A was actually here at I I thought I met Jack A before but Jack K was actually here at this event cuz she was on Everybody Hates Chris.
If you look at the lead photo that I have on the website real quick. If you look right here in the red, where you see lady in the red, that's Jack A. Still around, still still beautiful, still doing her thing. So don't disrespect the Jack. I love Jack K. So this ain't this ain't no shot at her at all. But it is a shot at Roland.
Uh I'mma read it in my uh Roland Martin uh Jack voice. Uh today's Roland Martin unfiltered is uh going to be very difficult. I knew Justin and his wife and uh Dr. Serena Fairfax and uh man hissy fit. I was simply stunned this morning when hearing the devastating news of the murder suicide.
Jess was my alpha f alpha and he tagged alpha fa alpha alpha Instagram. Here's my alpha v alpha brother and uh and in the same sigma 5 fraternity uh chapter uh beta new uh last year Serena text me to tell me that she recommended me for North State University uh as a commencement speaker. So we're not going to go all the way down look but I want y'all to point out this.
You notice how he's using their death to talk about how close he was to them?
Roland Martin is making this whole unfortunate tragedy about himself.
He's making it about himself. He said she recommended that he be a commencement speaker at Northolk University and was saddened when they picked someone else. That shows Norfolk State University got some damn sense not to have Roland Martin speak. Salute to Salute to Norfolk State University. Salute to them.
Salute to them to saying no.
Y'all remember Trading Places when Billy Ray Valentine was like this my face.
This my face. And he busted it. And then they were like, "That is your vase.
These are your things." And then Ben Valentine's like, "You want me to bust something else?" And they was like, "No."
That's what Norfol State said to Roland Martin. Uh, you want me to come to be the speaker uh for your commencement?
Uh, they said no.
Let's keep going.
Serena, Serena, uh, a dentist by profession uh, was accomplished woman in her own uh, right. I was personally aware of how devastated Jesse was about the two sexual assault allegations made against him when he was 48 hours away uh of becoming governor of uh Virginia in the wake of Governor Ralph North and blackface scandal.
Look at this. In this tragedy, he bringing up the man's sexual assault allegations.
Oh my god, Roland Martin, you a scoundrel, dog. This dude's a scumbag.
These people got kids. They got family members.
They just suffered.
Think about the family and all the tragedy the family suffered.
Now they're not only having to relive this, they're having to relive the man's worst moment when he didn't become governor.
His uh political career never recovered.
said, "Uh, we often texted, but not last year. I am so saddened by their two children. Uh, how sad are you? You putting that all the dirty business back out there and all kind of shit."
And then he goes further to say, "They're now left without a mom and dad and and and the total of justice actions. Uh, domestic violence is real and so is mental health. I'm sassy."
Roller Martin.
Then he turns it back on himself again.
I have booked uh two male mental health experts at uh to speak on this tonight.
Uh please bring in prayer for those kids and uh Serena's family and Justin's.
This tragedy has offered the lives of uh many.
What a dirt bag, man. Rolling, you a [ __ ] dirt bag, dude. Like, you a for real dirt bag.
You took this tragedy to clout chase for yourself and your show.
Oh my god. The [ __ ] with an ascot.
That's who Roland Martin is. The ascot [ __ ] So after this very distasteful post, the boule came out and checked him.
The boule came out and checked this dude.
The box ovalhead [ __ ] It says hour after this is from the go the boole site says hours after a public post about former Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax and his wife Dr. Serena Fairfax drew significant backlash on social media.
Roland Martin revealed earlier Friday that he had deleted the post.
Uh last night I received an email from uh Sigmafy a fraternity uh leadership regarding my IG threads post on the Justin Fairfax uh murder suicide.
Uh, it is said that the grand gramis where the [ __ ] grand gram graas gram I don't know boule talk gramaritus. What are they? How do y'all pronounce that? I'm not into boule so I don't I don't know I don't know these boule names. It is said that the Grand Grammatus was requesting that I ask you to remove the reference and pictures related to Sigma F uh Sigma Pi on your post in order to adhere to the Boulay's social media policy on sharing members names and images of our society on social media.
So, let's break this down.
The boule didn't say take it down because it was distasteful. That was extremely distasteful to cloud chase off somebody's murder. Hell, one of my homeboys, I don't even know how he died, but somebody that was on my first ever comedy show uh died this week. And I don't know how he died, but I saw all over social media, somebody that I knew, not too too close, but I knew from around comedy. Let me see if I can find it.
He was on the first ever comedy show that I threw. And salute to the Hidden History Museum comedy show. Get y'all tickets coming up pretty soon.
I don't sign that.
But anyway, somebody I know was was was was just just recently died.
All right.
Just recently.
Uh, I don't have the flyer. I don't have it. I thought I had it. I thought I had it. I thought I had it.
I thought I had it. No, I don't. I was going to show you. But rest in peace, Antonio Rucker.
The Ruckus.
Let me see here.
No, it's not there. Rest in peace to him. But I wasn't going to go around posting all kind of pictures and [ __ ] You don't do that when somebody just die. You let you Now you say rest in peace.
You say rest in peace, but to flip it into clout chasing off your show or what you do, man. That is so classless. And the Boule had no issue, no issue with that being classless. Look at this.
The Boule only cared about removing references and pictures related to the Boule because they have a policy on um social media sharing member names and images.
question.
Why does the Boule have a policy on sharing names and images?
If everything you do is on the up and up for black folks, why do y'all care to hide?
That's the Boule logo.
That's the Boule logo. Y'all see that?
This is LeBron's This is LeBron's tattoo on the Boule. Is it because every time we see you the Boule show up around black folks, we we see somebody misleading us? Is that Is that why y'all got that?
Is that why y'all got that that policy?
You don't want the rest of us black Americans knowing who you are because every time we see that that that tattoo, every time we see that bootle signal, we see somebody misleading us.
I'm not here to say all the booleans like that, but I am here to say the ones that get in powerful positions all seem to act the same way.
They're all black faces in high places that do nothing.
for black people just as a secret society of [ __ ] that have wine and cheese parties and figure out how they going to [ __ ] us over. That's what the Boule is.
A bunch of wine and cheese [ __ ] that get in backdoor meetings with the dominant society and their job is to figure out allegedly, I don't know, I wasn't there. I've never been part of one of their meetings, but the beha be behavior seems to check out consistently that wherever you see Boule, you hear you guys ain't getting no reparations, you stupid fools.
You hear that? Or LeBron, well, I'm going to wait to the media. What What you think about Tamir Rice, LeBron? It happened in your backyard, in your home city. Tamir Rice. Well, uh, I think I'mma go ahead and, uh, wait for white media to say something. then uh maybe I'll have an opinion.
Everybody involved in this is a scoundrel.
From the person that murdered his wife and then like a punk killed himself, married that innocent woman.
I don't know what happened, but still whatever happened, it could have been worked out through a through some conversation, through some therapy. You didn't have to kill her. She wasn't an immediate threat.
So just weirdo weird ass behavior.
Top to bottom.
Top to bottom.
You got they over here talking about something. Oh, don't take the don't take the thread down because you know we're we're we're sensitive to the person that Now, if they said take it down because we're sensitive because this is one of our members who end who had a who ended his life tragically, I would have been like, "All right, Boule, I get that."
But they said, "No, we just want you to remove the reference to to our frat.
We want you to remove the reference to our little boys club, and we don't want people knowing who's behind these closed doors making these meetings to screw all of y'all over.
Go check out um yesterday's uh Voodoo Doll had a had an amazing show yesterday. I didn't get to watch it all, but I got to watch like 20 the first 20 minutes of it. I'mma go back and watch the rest of it on the doll talked about this about about the mulatto class that's been selling black people out.
And I don't know if she ended up getting to the boule or not because I haven't gotten that far into the video. But the first 20 minutes I'm in so far right now, goddamn voodoo dog, she going in telling the whole truth about how the mulatto class has sold us out as black people. And I can say that I got mados in my family lineage. I don't know if my I don't know my family lineage got the first black American senator in American history in in Illinois history who was a light-skinned.
can't necessarily call him mulatto because his both of his parents were black, but he had that that they definitely had that look. And I do have other formerly enslaved mulatto family members. So, I'm not here to call the the the pot call black.
I can't get personally offended just because I had mulatto all through my genealogy in the 1800s. I can't get personally offended when I hear someone like a voodoo doll do those kind of breakdowns. You know what I mean? You don't take [ __ ] like that personal because you you got to deal with truth and you got to deal with how truth how it is. And that's a very very very longstanding fact about that class and their relationship with the rest of us as black folks.
And the Boule was once a mulatto organization. Mulatto le you had to have they had the brown paper bag test.
They've since gotten rid of the brown paper bag test. But have they changed the way they practice?
That's the question. Yes, they've gotten rid of their back brown paper bag test.
But has getting rid of the brown paper bag test changed how they function and operate?
And I'll say based on the evidence, based on what we see around us, my personal answer is no.
They still the same people.
Oh, you say she did touch on that. All right, cool. Yeah, I got to go back and watch the rest of the first 20 minutes of her video. So, I didn't I don't know if she touched I I didn't see if she touched on the on the voodoo on that or not, but salute to her channel.
Those of us who teach and who have information to spread, we got to all support one another, you know? That's why I support Thimes. That's why I support uh Black Alpha. That's why I support Voodoo Doll TV. I support uh The Company man on the music side of the game. You know what I mean? And I know I'm forgetting something. support Red Supreme and these people. It's a lot of people online right now giving information, facts, and knowledge. Tariq Nasheed, you know what I mean?
It's a lot of people out there giving our information and it's very very very important that we all uh know we ain't going to all collaborate [ __ ] because I don't I I don't even like collaborating like that. I'm doing a collaboration later on today because it was like a a youth the youth reached out to me. I got to answer the youth. But you know, we're not going to all collaborate all the time, but we at le we we got to show each other love. And the audiences that love to hear information, we got to point each other in directions of people who like hearing information too, people who like giving information. You dig?
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Project Soul Music. They got darkkinned people in those bootle and that ain't [ __ ] either, right? It you I'm saying it used to be the brown paper bag test.
They can't do that anymore. They now it's they they know what they they know what kind of [ __ ] are put up in there.
Yeah. Afro elite.
Yeah.
And there's other channels, but some of these channels be like, I'm not going to tell you about any other channel because I want you to watch me.
I have to protect my audience because I'm treating my audience like they're stupid. So, I'm not going to tell you about their channel. You only got to listen to me.
So, people that with that kind of mindset can [ __ ] off if you ask me. I ain't gonna I like sharing, but I'm not I'm not nobody's sucker either.
I don't believe in gatekeeping you guys on what you should and shouldn't listen to. Y'all might turn to one of them channels and something they say rub you the wrong way. And that's cool because we all individuals.
We all individuals and we all got our own taste. But I got faith in y'all that if something that somebody says ain't right, you have the ability to kick it out and discard it and choose to either continue to listen to that channel or say, "I like this channel, but I don't like that one thing that they say or two things that they say, but overall, I'm going still listen to them." I believe in you guys' maturity to make those decisions on your own. I don't need to gatekeep that.
I'm not going to sit around be like, "I'm the only one you got to listen to.
Shit's corny as [ __ ] and it's hella insecure.
I don't [ __ ] I don't [ __ ] with insecurity now.
I don't [ __ ] with insecurity. Uhuh.
No. No. No. No.
You listen to who you like. All right.
Miss Kitty Cat MC. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about.
But back to the story, back to what we talking about here.
So, but look at this, right? Man, Hall of Fame. Some channels only mention others when they have something negative to say about them.
Man, don't nobody hold down all the truth. Me, I talk a lot of music history, but I talk politics and other stuff, too. You know, Voodoo Doll has her educational Fridays. The dog crimes, they'll talk society and music.
Everybody got their overall thing they talk about, but they also got that thing that make them unique. Red Supreme talks about the relationship between blacks and Mexicans a lot. Suit the kid Gravity True Savior breaks down the music. I have no issue sending y'all all y'all over to follow True Savior, too, cuz he has some dope music breakdowns. You think I'm You think I'mma gatekeep the music world when I got people like Truth Savior out there telling the real deal.
Water God has a great re review channel, you know, reviewing things. Everybody got a little bit of something and we should all be secure enough in ourselves to to share cuz there is no gatekeeping.
[ __ ] cut your own grass and let everybody else live their life. Don't I'm not going to let you listen to them cuz I don't know and I don't trust them.
They may have you listening to something that I don't like and I'm I I don't know anything about. So, I'm going to tell you no, don't listen to them [ __ ] weirdos.
Um, oh yeah, the music break. Also, join the Patre on the Patreon. I have a a collection of playlists. If you if you're on my Patreon, I got a bunch of different playlists. I got contemporary R&B, I got classic R&B, I got funk, I got jazz, we got meditation music.
We have all those playlists on Patreon.
So, make sure y'all join the Patreon to access those playlists.
So, listen to Roland Martin as we keep going on. Listen to Roland Martin as we keep going on.
And it's a bunch of other people great with great content, too. I'm just, you know, you can't mention everybody because sometime I got a lot to talk about. It's a the internet is the internet. YouTube is dope right now.
It's a lot of dope YouTube channels out there spreading a lot of dope information. Pink Book Lessons. I love her breakdowns, man.
I love Pink Book Lessons. Um, Urban X, I'm so glad to see Black Dot and Malcolm back on because about a year ago they said they were going to end the podcast and they were gone for a while.
Now Urban X comes back and does shows again. So, shouts out and salute to Urban X the world. So, know we missed y'all.
We missed y'all over at Urban X. It was good to see y'all back.
But yeah, listen to That's right. Uh, listen listen to who you want to listen to. That's how it's supposed to be.
Listen to who you want to listen to.
Philip Scott, right?
Hell yeah. Watch Pinkbook Lesson. I love I love Pink Book's channel. She funny as [ __ ] When Pink Book, every time Pink Book says she popping her thought pocket, BOY, THAT [ __ ] SO GODDAMN FUNNY.
WHEN she be talking about Cardi B, here go Cardi B again. Popping her thigh pocket. [ __ ] I laugh every single time she says that.
Yeah, I love that show.
Yeah, Sabby Sabs, right?
Yeah, man. I've seen that, too. You seen black channels ban their own subscribers for supporting other channels that they see as a threat, right, man? Y'all like, look, that's why I don't look, let me before I get back to Roland Martin because this something I got to say. We talking I'm we talking about Roland Martin and that side of the fence. But hell yeah, like a a couple years ago when all that [ __ ] dropped between uh Woopywamp and Boomy Bamp, I ain't mentioning no names, but when all that [ __ ] when that when that one channel Woopywamped one of their members and they boom bamped them, I talked about it and a I lost a lot of people that subscribed to me. like a lot of people and every now and again I'll go over to those channels and see you know people in the chat like these people was re they was always retweeting me they was always commenting on what I said and then the minute uh that other channel had said something I guess or they saw what I man them [ __ ] stopped retweeting they stopped making comments a lot of them unfriended me on Facebook and they definitely left this chat infamous Eli was around back then American tradesman was around back then.
Y'all know I I had a I took a big loss on my channel because people want to follow.
But my thing's like this. If you want to follow somebody like that mindlessly and the truth gets in your if you can't listen to me because I say something or because I stand on the side of truth and you stand on the side of a person, then get the [ __ ] out of here.
But I will tell you this, in the last year or so, a few of them, I ain't going to mention their names, but a few of them tried to reffriend me on Facebook.
A few of them tried to they they did in the last year or so, they've been subtly retweeting some things again. And I'm still like, eh, no, I'm not going to. No, no, after you were a friend, but I remember you unfriended me when Yeah. So, you can stay over there. [ __ ] out of here.
Yeah. Salute. Uh, and also uh Tim Black.
Yeah, Tim Black TV. I love Tim Black.
I love Tim Black's channel.
I love uh Yeah, Vicky Dillard.
I'm not familiar with Demetri K, but salute to Vicky Dillard. I love Vicki.
Appreciate that, Leilani.
Yeah. So, I mentioned Black Alpha first. That's my guy right there.
But let's get back to the Boulay Martin.
Uh, normally I don't delete any social media post unless there's A FACTUAL ERROR, BUT I HAVE DELETED MY Justine and my Justine and Serena Fairfax post because uh the leadership at Sigmafi Pi five Fraternity Incorporated uh asked me to so in order to adhere to the Boule's social media policy uh on sharing member names and images of our society on social media So again, this dude didn't delete it because it was tonedeaf.
The Boule didn't ask him to pull it down because it was tonedeaf.
They just said, "Keep my name out your mouth when talking about something negative." I want y'all to see this.
They said deleted because it gave the boule a last a bad light.
Ain't that some [ __ ] Which leads me to a question.
Boule.
This is the Boule.
I don't mind y'all having y'all whatever parties. I'm not in y'all. See, fraternities are good. I have no issues with fraternities. I like talking [ __ ] but you're not going to see me as one to [ __ ] on the Masons. I'm not going to [ __ ] on the on these secret society because yeah, they do a lot of bad things, but like when you look at like a lot of your Masonic organizations, they also were the ones that created the banks for black people. They're the ones who, when you look down the line, the Masons, the Masonic folks, especially back in the 1800s, they're the ones who opened up all the banks. They're the ones who open up all the schools.
They're the ones who own the bus companies that we used to own. When black America used to control its business, most of those major business owners were Masons.
So, that's one side. On the other side, we know that the Masons have done a lot of [ __ ] too.
Same thing with these frats. A lot of your business owners to these days are come from these frats. These frats have amazing networks that help them become better business people, which then allows them to hire black people. I get it. I'm not I'm not a throw the baby out with the bath water type thing. I'm I'm I'm a holistic. I see the positive and negative. But at the same time, for those who see the negative impact, like the [ __ ] that Voodoo doll was talking about, man, I'll never speak against the [ __ ] that she brought.
Although I'm more in in the I'm more in the center when it comes to things and and sometimes I lose followers because I'm not as extreme as people want me to be.
You know, I had a I had a mod that ain't one of my mods I ain't going to say their name, but one of my mods got mad at something I said last week about James Smalls because I'm not ready to throw him all the way out. I just pull back and just observe that dude uh that dude's that that that dude's urethra got ruptured and he ain't been back in the chat since. I'mma give the [ __ ] one more week to come back in the chat and I'mma demod the [ __ ] But with that being said, I don't I get people who are extreme with it and I'm I'm never going to be the one to stand in your way, but I got to be me the same way you got to be you. And I'm a Gemini.
I see all of it.
I see things from the center point so it doesn't stress me.
But we need those who see things from one angle at the same time to really heighten the contradiction.
We need we need everybody.
But so with that being said, I'm not here to say that, okay, everything all's bad and I'm not gonna say everything's all good. I'm not gonna tell you to join. I'm not gonna tell you not to join. My point of view is you do what the [ __ ] suits you. Okay, that's me.
Infamous Eli said, "I never heard of James Smalls."
Stop it. Stop it, Eli. Stop it.
Uh, but [ __ ] said, "I don't know who he is." Y'all [ __ ] are stupid.
But this is my question.
Look, there's some dope people that are Prince Halls, man. I'm telling you right now, I know some people I know who have done some amazing [ __ ] without undermining anybody. I know some Prince Halls, some um some Deltas. I know some Kappas. I know some Omegas. I know people in all these organizations, individuals that have done great things.
But I also have a cousin that was a Kappa who I'mma talk about him later on. one time who was suing the [ __ ] out of out of the LAPD. My cousin was the next Johnny Cochran, suing the [ __ ] out of the LAPD and winning. Suing USC for the discrimination and winning. And they set my cousin up and put him in jail.
They set him up. Someone broke in my cousin's house. My cousin beat the person who broke into his house up. A gun dropped and it fired off. He didn't even shoot the dude. The gun dropped and it fired. And just from the grunt dropping and hitting the ground and firing off, my cousin got nine years in prison.
Nine years and he just got out.
He was a lawyer, but he's also part of the Kappas and it was his Kappa friend. Well, he thought his attorney was his was his Kappa friend. Come to find out, his attorney worked in cahoots with the judge to basically sacrifice my cousin because of some other things going on within the courthouse here in LA. It was my cousin who thought his frat brother was there to help him out. Come to find out, and this isn't speculation, my cousin, it's a whole drama. I would It's a whole drama.
That particular lawyer was also involved in Suge Knight's situation.
And we came to find out that that lawyer had their own this other Kappa had their own situation going on and he sacrificed my cousin and we got the paperwork and that lawyer is now in jail because that lawyer did some shady [ __ ] But my my cousin who's a kappa and hired his frat brother and his frat brothers who threw him under the [ __ ] bus.
Yeah.
Now my cousin out and he that's a whole another story. We gonna end up I'm I I want to tell that story but it's very deep and I live in LA so I know how the LAPD operate. certain things I just don't talk about because yeah, I don't want to end up like Nipy.
So some [ __ ] you just shut your mouth on. Like I just you don't tell everything that you know. But I do know that my cousin's Kappa lawyer helped throw his ass up under the bus.
This is a fact. And I'mma get him to tell that. He I'mma get He's out now. So he might come on here and tell that story or somewhere.
But that's another reason why I talk about all you uh every now and again like I got these people I got these people that um like y'all see it. They like to come around here and um one second.
There we go. You got people to come around here and talk about LA. LA. Y'all don't know how the [ __ ] LA operates.
They be like, "Well, LA, y'all need this." Well, LA produced Johnny Cochran.
What the [ __ ] your city produced? And my cousin was the next Johnny Cochran and his ass got put up. But that's how the city operates. You get too effective.
Yeah. All right. All right.
This city is scandalous.
But it was a frat brother that threw a frat brother that helped get another frat brother put in prison. So yeah, my cousin's out, but he had to sit down for 9 years.
He had to sit down for nine years.
Somebody said that he denounces frat.
Man, that's some Hollywood [ __ ] What are you supposed to do? Go stand on top of a mountain with a SWORD AND SAY, "I NOW DENOUNCE THEE."
NO, he just told me the story and he moved on.
I don't know if denouncer I'm not here to That's that I'm not I'm not a I'm not a pomp and circumstance kind of guy. So, I'm never going to ask anybody if they denounce something.
You denounce something by showing how you move, not what you say. You dig?
Yeah. He said, "My cousin sat down for nine years. He just got out last year."
Nine years.
Crazy part about it is though that his son went to law school.
Now Cuzo Now Cuzo's son is a lawyer and they really about to have hell on their [ __ ] asses.
But you see what it is.
It's all [ __ ] Now, I'm not saying don't join these organizations because I'm sure within these organizations, you can find a way to be constructive and make what you got going on constructive, you know, without getting in the big rigma.
Now, he wasn't set up by his own. Let's make it very clear. He was set, my cousin was set up by the white supremacist people who run LA that but they needed his frat brother to be a co-conspirator in the setup.
All I'm saying is when it comes to dealing with the main power, the Boule, the none of these frats, none of these mofos are going to help you when it comes to dealing with them folks, you know.
You know, you just understand if you want to be a part of the one of these frats or secret societies, understand that and get something out of it, brothers and sisters, you want to be Eastern Star, I'm not going to tell you not to be an Eastern star. I'm just going to say be constructive. Get whatever you can out of it. But those people ain't if you ever got into a situation to where you really needed help from from from from the dominance against a dominant society, your little secret society frat ain't going to help you. Where did the Boule help Bill Cosby?
Did the Boule ever say a word to protect Bill?
Hell, Bill got found innocent in the court. Bill, they came out and admitted that they broke the law to put Bill Cosby in jail. Did the Boule speak up for him?
All that money Bill Cosby gave them H.B.CU.
What I'm saying is a lot of the like a a lot of these H.B.CU, a lot of these black organizations, they're weak.
They're morally weak and they're physically weak and they're weak from the point of that man gave you all that money all them years and y'all couldn't give not one defense of him after all that money Bill Cosby donated to H.B.CU's couldn't one H.B.CU step up and say, "Hey, y'all breaking the law to put this man in jail."
These secret societies work for the dominant society. Period. And as long as if you join one, as long as you're very very very clear about that, you'll probably move oper operate the right way.
Just be clear if you join one of those one of those organizations. They don't work for us, they work for them.
As long as you know that, which leads me to my next question.
If the Boule has the power to tell Roland Martin to take a post down because it mentioned one of his members, don't they had the power to check their members all throughout the media when they say disparaging things about black people?
The the the Boule couldn't tell Rola Martin to take down his anti-reparations posts.
If they got this much control over his Twitter and what he says, where are they when they're when he's talking about putting Democrat before black?
Where are they when these because Boule members are all throughout the media?
They're all throughout government.
Do they ever check their members for saying black and brown? Is the Boule black and brown or is it just brown or is it just black? Chat room, help me. Is the Boule the membership? What's up, Dana Dane? Is the Boule membership black and brown or is it just black? Help me out, chat.
The Boule sees gentrification in every major city black people are in.
Where are they?
Do they ever do all the Boule members of media, have they ever done a an intensive profile on gentrification and the effects on black America of gentrification?
Have they done that?
Yeah, I thought it was just black. Yeah, I thought the boule was just black.
Okay, thank you for that.
But so why ain't they policy?
So, if you decide to join one of these organizations, I'm not going to tell you not to, but you see what you signing up for.
And you got to ask yourself, can you work within that system? Because there are people there are people who've shown in the past and show now who can work within the system and make change locally effectively. Like I know some people I know some brothers who are Masons that here in LA what they've done business-wise, hiring wise, they've done an amazing job. The same way I know some church clergy members, there's some pastors I know that they got no blemishes on their record. They use their church funds to help the community out. All preachers aren't bad.
Some people use Some preachers use their connections and community to really help out one another. And when it comes to things that can hurt black people, they just stay out of it. I know the same thing with some Masons.
So there there is a way to get within these organizations, get the connections, raise capital, and hire black people and do things to help us out in a positive way. That's possible, too.
But it comes down to the mindset you enter these organizations with.
But it looks like from what I see, from my point of view, I don't know. I don't know. But it seems as if the boule is nice and cool with what I with like black people being replaced by Africans, black people being replaced by Caribbeans, black people being placed by being replaced by Latinos, black people being replaced by new immigrant groups to America. It seems as if the Boule is not only cool with it, they seem to be a little bit behind it because they don't fight back.
Did the Boule fight back when Howard hired an Asian lady to be in the music department?
I don't know if she's still there, but Howard University, I know as of a couple years ago, had a Asian lady heading up their music department.
Let me see if she's still there.
You got Africans that are that are Africans that are there.
Let me see.
You got Africans that are there running the the Fisk University music department.
Here it is.
Here it is.
Born in Georgia.
I mean a country Georgia.
This is your piano chair at what's her position?
She's assistant professor of piano and piano area coordinator at Howard University. That's this one. So the other Asian lady ain't there no more.
So here you go. This is Howard right here. This here's their Here's your piano. All these black people in need of a job. And this who you hire at Howard University to be the piano area coordinator. Okay.
I'm not against hiring out, you know, whoever is the best fit for the job, but black people tend not to get those jobs when other people have the control over who gets hired.
And I bet you she ain't got no swing.
Can you imagine her imagine her being the one teaching black musicians how to put swing in they sound, how to swing their notes, how to play with syncopated rhythms and funk. Imagine her teaching teaching somebody at Howard University how to play funk chords.
This what y'all teaching Howard?
This is y'all teaching Howard.
Larry said, "I bet you she ain't got no ass either." I'm sure.
Ass that piano, [ __ ] So yeah.
Here we go.
Here is your senior vice president and chief financial officer at Howard University.
right here.
That's your CFO at Howard Vasquez.
Can Can you Do you think there'll ever be somebody named Jenkins as a CFO of Latina University?
I'm just saying being I'm just being fair. Anybody last? Anybody with a first name Rodney, any woman with a first name Ebony, are they going to be the the the CFO of Latina University? The answer is hell no.
Here you go.
Associate Provost at Howard University right here.
Uhhuh.
Let me see here.
I don't have a person name.
This is our Boule approved.
This is our Boule approved.
They say nothing.
And I'm only bringing this up for a reason cuz I went to what y'all call a PWI. I we didn't call it private white institutions, but that's they call it.
See, that's why I went that's why I went to Cal State Northridge. People was trying to hustle us here in LA. A lot of people from LA went down south to go to a H.B.CU. I was like, I wouldn't mind going down south going to a H.B.CU. If I planned on staying down south and living down there, I would have probably gone to one if I planned on staying down there. I'm like, man, I AIN'T ABOUT TO SAY NO HOT ass south. I'mma be living my life in sunny, beautiful LA. What's the temperature right now?
What's the temperature right now, [ __ ] It is 74 degrees right now, sunny. You think I'm leaving this [ __ ] So, I said, "No, I'mma go to college here locally, and I'm going have to be dealing with these white folks the rest of my life.
I might as well learn this. Learn how these goddamn people operate while I'm in college. And I'm so glad I did. I learned right away how white supremacy work when I went to college.
And I People was like, "COME DOWN TO THE SOUTH AND COME TO AN H.B.CU so you can be immersed in black culture."
[ __ ] I was raised in the Crrenshaw district.
I got baptized in black culture, man.
Look, if you ain't learning black culture till you get to college, it's a little bit late.
No disrespect to those of you who do, and some of y'all might need it. That might be cool.
But if you ain't getting black culture till you 18, you done missed the boat.
If you weren't immersed in black culture and baptized in it when you was six like I was, I don't want to hear it.
Again, nothing wrong with those schools.
Nothing wrong with going down south.
Nothing wrong with H.B.CU. But all the arguments people gave, "Oh, but don't never go to a PWI. [ __ ] out of here."
One of my close friends when I was a kid, been knowing since I was three.
That [ __ ] went to Gramling, got a graduated from Gramling and he's going to be an engineer and he got he couldn't get a job, but he ended up getting a job at Rathon and Rathon ended up hiring him because back then Rathon hired black Americans. But Rathon was like, "Look, you got this degree from Gambling. Uh-uh. We going to need you to go to one of these white schools and get a degree." So he had to go to Cal State Long Beach and get another get a second bachelor's before he went to get his masters. Now Rathon paid for it that it's cool they paid for it. But I'm like damn if homie just went straight to uh school out here in California. He would have got hired right in and didn't have to go back. He had to go back for two extra years and get a double bachelor's cuz they was like, "Yeah, nah. Rathon wasn't recognizing that degree from Gambling."
They were like, "Yeah, no. you got to come back here and get one of our white degrees. And he did.
And he's been working at Rathon now for the last 20 years.
And I'm glad I went to a white school because I I learned I used to my reports and papers. I appreciate the super chat. Say we appreciate your work, fam. Appreciate that. I learned racism right away because when I was in college, I used to like all my writing when I would have to write, I would always do these writeups on black success stories, you know, how it is being a black person, but not never that down. And whenever I would write about blackness, I would always get like I would always get like a C or less, C, D or fail.
Whenever I wrote about anything non-black, I always got A's. And not just a regular A. I'm talking about 99% 100% perfect papers. If I got a 90% on a paper, if I had two red marks on a paper that wasn't about blackness, that was Oh, that was bad. I always got clean A's on any kind of writing assignment except for when I talked about blackness. I'd always somehow get a D.
And it took me a couple years to figure it out. Then I realized it when I had this one white liberal lesbian professor. Cuz when you in college, they want to tell you that black folks, lesbians, and gays, we all deal with the same stuff.
But then no matter what happened with my lesbian professor, the one wasn't gonna get nothing better than a D than a C minus if I talked about anything black. So I got baptized in that [ __ ] in college on how this world worked.
So when I got out of college, I was able to understand how to wty wimp and boomy bam through this earth.
But again, if you gonna stay at a H.B.CU BCU and stay down south. If you going, you better go to H.B.CU. You them [ __ ] be getting jobs down there.
But I wasn't going here in LA. LA like, "Yeah, nah.
You better get your ass one of these white degrees." That's what LA say.
[ __ ] [ __ ] They like, "You better get one of these white degrees."
I got a white degree. God damn it.
But this is what it is with this uh Boule.
The Boule protects itself, not us.
This whole situation with Roland Martin was about the Boule protecting itself.
This whole situation was about the Boule protecting itself.
Look at this.
Look at this.
These are our folks, people.
I got to get ready for this other podcast I'm getting ready to do. Y'all, so I appreciate y'all for listening.
Make sure you go to instance and aastrace.com and look at my write up I did on Ali Loy, the creative mind behind Everybody Hates Chris and this in his art gallery that he has going on right now here in LA through June that if you're in LA, you need to go and check out.
It was a beautiful event.
It was a beautiful event and I need y'all to go and check out this article.
Go to banfamilytree.org.
Maybe I should join the boule so I can get some donations to my uh foundation.
Hey Boule, I'm sorry. Hey, Boule. Show Hey, Boule, if y'all want if y'all want to prove how black y'all are, Boule. If y'all want to show that y'all are down with black American education, give a substantial donation to Black American Music Family Tree Historical Foundation.
No strings attached other than me teaching. If y'all give me a no strings attached donation, you know, I tell the world that, hey, the look, the Boule donated $100,000 to my foundation so we can teach the black American music experience the right way. The Boule is now giving an annual contribution of $250 grand to preserve the black American cultural music lineage. If y'all do that, Boule, I'll make sure to say some goodwill about y'all.
give it to a nonboule member, somebody that whose only agenda, my only agenda is to teach the music history. That's my only agenda.
That's my only agenda. So, if y'all want to show y'all help black people out, Boule, donate to my foundation without asking me to join cuz I ain't joining you [ __ ] But donate to the foundation without asking a [ __ ] to join. No strings attached. Here's 250 grand a year. I'll sing y'all praises and be like, "Look, I don't know WHAT THEY DID OVER THERE, but at least they preserving the history of music right here." I would say that. I would say that. Now, I wouldn't cover for the rest of your [ __ ] But I'll say, "Hey, at least they presecting and preserving the black American music, sound, cultural roots."
That's what I would say.
Outside of that, y'all can go to hell because I ain't about to I ain't about to sit here and throw my people under the bus for the benefit of an organization that's only helping itself out.
Now, if you step outside of yourself and work with some of us who are not part of your organization, who want to get things right and want to tell the history right, then we can talk.
outside of that kick rocks.
Nerd L said me that have the wind doing the boule bounce like rolling.
THAT [ __ ] SAID I'M GOING BE DOING THE BOULE BOUNCE. [ __ ] you.
Hey, watch me now. If the Boule donated a million dollars to my foundation, I'll be like, "Uh, well, I don't know what the Boule did. Uh but uh they they donated a million dollars and uh I got two new vans for my black uh Star Network and I uh uh y'all need to lay off the boot like uh that's what we going to find out. I'm putting I'm putting black folks to the test. These black organizations, let's see how well y'all work with black people who are not part of your organization cuz I ain't joining your organization now.
But let's see how well y'all work with black folks who are not part of the organization who only want things to be the history of our our history to be taught right. That's my only agenda is to teach our children right.
Let's see how down y'all are with that.
I'm putting it out there because I to see how real y'all really are with this [ __ ] I I know all about Steve Kley. And if you're on my Patreon, I got I got Steve Kley videos on my Patreon. As a matter of fact, I'm about to upload some more Steve Kley Boule videos to my Patreon. I got a lot of Steve Kley videos on hard drive that's not online. So, I'm about to upload my Patreon. I got some stuff already up there. I'mma go get some. I'm going go through some of my videos that I have in the next week and I'm upload some new some new um some more Steve Kley that I have on my hard drive. I'm I'mma upload that over on Patreon. All right.
Thank y'all again for listening.
I'll pro we'll probably do a late night live. Well, we'll do a late we might do it. It's 50/50 on a late night live tonight, but we'll I'll let y'all know. All right.
Y'all have a good one.
