This footage captures a profound failure of domestic socialization, where a lack of conflict resolution skills transforms a trivial teenage dispute into a permanent legal burden. It is a sobering reminder that when parental guidance is absent, the state becomes the only remaining arbiter of discipline.

Teen Girls Fight Over a Boy, Both Arrested While Parents WatchAdded:
My boyfriend was running her mouth. So then I like stepped this way to run my mouth back and then she started trying to touch my pocket and grab me. I don't care. I hit her first. Yeah, I I hit her out here.
>> Let them beat the [ __ ] out of each other and get over it.
>> Like she's one of my only friends. Like I would have never thought she would end up like this. On February 20th, 2026, officers responded to a residence after two teenage girls who were best friends got into a physical altercation after one confronted the other over rumors that she had been discussing personal details about her relationship to their mutual friends, which then escalated into two separate fights.
>> Two girls are normally friends and arguing about 17 teen girl driving.
Didn't drive her home today. They drove here, made her walk home. When she got home, she told them to get off the property. They started going back and forth. She had the other girl's phone, wanted it back. She started reaching for her pockets trying to get the phone back and saying she the other girl pushed her. They started fighting on the porch, separated. Other girl's boyfriend started running his mouth. She like tried to walk towards him cuz he was running his mouth. She said she was just going to step outside talking to him and the other girl then they started fighting again out here trying to get all the details. She has some swell on her face or no. She's 18. She said she wants to press charges. The other girl is 17. I guess she's at work at Walmart.
The other party was like gone when you got here. Apparently the boyfriend recorded it.
>> She was trying to run through the other girl's pockets.
>> Oh, her pockets. Oh.
>> She was trying to get the front phone from you, right?
>> Yeah. But I told her I was going to give it to her because Yeah. I went out one night.
>> Do you want to interview her?
>> Yeah.
>> He took my phone and then lost it and was supposed to be texting some guy that has it to get it back and everything.
And I said, "Okay." It started at school around like 7th period, so like 2:00. He ended up texting me and was like, "I'm tired of this of you talking about me and my boyfriend and this that the next." And I was like, I've been talking about your boyfriend. Like, we've been best friends for so long, etc. I was like, I had brought up one situation and it was about him liking another girl's post or whatever. I brought it up to our other friend because, you know, we all talk stuff to each other. And she had ended up telling my other friend stuff about me and my ex, too, which is very complicated. So, I was like, "Okay, well, I'll bring this up like whatever."
And I didn't make it out for him to be the bad guy or nothing, but that's how she took it. And she was like, "Uh, that's bull crap. You're such a friend.
You just use people this, that, and the next." And I was like, "Well, I'm not going to do this with you. I've been nothing with a good friend." And then she started arguing more. So then I started arguing back and she was like, "Oh, you're going to catch a fade." And I was like, "I'm not going to fight you.
You're a minor." And she was like, "No, it's just cuz you're scary. This, that, and the next." I said, "I'm not going to fight you. You're a minor." She usually drives me home, but I guess she ended up leaving and coming here right away. I got here, told them to get off my property, get out of the house, like cuz they're all up inside running through my stuff. She is. So I got here, I said she needs to take her stuff and she needs to leave. She's not getting the phone. I haven't got mine back yet. My mom knows a situation about that, too. And then she came up on the porch and got on my face. Her boyfriend was running her mouth. So then I like stepped this way to run my mouth back. And then she started trying to touch my pockets and grab me. And then her boyfriend started running more. So I started to walk over here and she pushed me. So then I hit her and then it started there. That's when I hit my head over on the table.
>> Why would she come here?
>> To get her stuff, which she walked out the house with like two things.
>> Has she been staying here?
>> And try to come and grab all her stuff first.
>> I'm going to talk to you in a second. I just I'm trying to get everybody's story straight.
>> Yeah. She came to get clothes and stuff.
She texted me out.
>> Has she had been staying here or what?
>> No. Okay. She stayed the night before all that. I told her she said, "I want all of my stuff in bags and I'll pick it up after work." I said, "Okay, that's fine. and I'll get your stuff and I'll put it outside. You can pick it up after work.
>> You had her phone?
>> Yes. As she gave me that phone.
>> How did you get a hold of her phone?
>> She gave it to me.
>> When was that?
>> A couple months ago. Cuz she had lost mine at a party.
>> So she goes through your pockets and then what happens?
>> Your boyfriend starts running his mouth.
So I step forward and she steps in front of me and goes like this and then I just hit her.
>> She pushed you?
>> Yeah.
>> Did it carry on? Like was there more?
Was it all trading blows or what?
>> Oh yeah. No, it it carried on for a minute and then he started pulling us apart. They started pulling us apart.
>> How so? Like carried on? Like you guys were both hitting each other or was she?
>> I think we both got good hits in and then they had pulled us apart. She had got off the porch. Her boyfriend started running his mouth and then he was trying to fight him too talking about he was going to the house and this that and the kids because he kept trying to come up to everything. I was friends with him before they got together. That was my homeboy.
>> All right. So they broke up the fight.
They're running their mouth and then they get in the car and take off.
>> No, I they came out here and started running their mouth. So then I tried to go after her again and she hit me again because he had grabbed me up and then she hit me and then we ended up fighting over there and then they pulled us apart again.
>> So y'all separated here and they're running their mouth and then you ran up on her and then she hit you again.
>> Yes. She came up here, ran up here, grabbed her phone and left.
>> I don't care. I hit her first. Yeah. I I hit her out here cuz she came out here running her mouth.
>> Brianna went inside. Yayla walked up on the porch to the front door, started running her mouth through the door.
Briana came out, starts running her mouth back and then she kept getting closer and closer. Brianna ended up stepping over here. Laya went to go dig in her pockets for the phone and Brianna's like, "Yo, put your hands on me. It's going to get physical. Like, I'm not even playing. You need to back up." Tristan started running his mouth.
So, Briana stepped over to try to run her mouth to him. And that's when Laya ended up pushing her and they ended up going at it. I gave her the phone and I told her, "Get off the property cuz that's what mom told me to do." They was still sitting there running their mouth talking about you got your feet this that and next to Briana, having her still trying to go at them because they're sitting there running their mouth. And then by the time they left is when I ended up calling my mom and I was like, "Yo, this what happened." They have a video like full on from before she started fighting.
>> Yeah. I got a video of the second fight.
>> This is the second fight.
>> Yes.
>> Okay.
>> Do we have the first fight?
>> I don't. When they went at it, the camera dropped. But that's all I got of the second fight though. And then they left. They got separated by her brother and sister, those male and female that are there. Then we see the video. She's on the porch. The other girl's out here and she takes off her shoes and runs out her fight.
>> I'll tell you what. So, as of right now, we think his girlfriend is the victim of a crime. So, we we're trying to get in contact with her. So, yeah, she went over there to fight her or whatever, but we think she's also the victim of a crime. She's not in trouble, right? We need to get in contact with her.
>> I could call him real quick. That's all I could do for you.
>> Yeah, >> I appreciate that.
>> We really need to talk to him to clear up this mess.
>> Last time I knew, I thought they were friends. He he walks into my room, showed me that video, and I was like, "What they got going on?"
>> Just a whole bunch of nonsense. Someone not giving somebody their phone back.
>> What' they have on the video?
>> They were just sitting there arguing and arguing >> like, "Where's my phone? Where's my phone?"
>> Going through it about drama and nonsense. Did you see anybody hitting anybody or pushing anybody or not?
>> I appreciate it.
>> And so you see the boy, it's Bree's older brother. He's like 24. And then her little sister who is in the arc too with the red hair, but you see him point the camera up. You see his face and then the girls are arguing. Bri's on the porch and Yla's off the sidewalk there in the yard. Tristan's like behind her shoulder. And next thing you know, Brie like walks down the steps, comes back up, picks her shoes off and goes down after Yla. And before she can get her hands on Yla, Laya popped her in the face cuz she was charging her and Yla popped her and you could see it. And then they went back over the sidewalk to the other side of the yard and hit the ground. They were both swinging and I think they're both at fault and I think they're freaking idiots. And then it shows them like pulling apart, I guess.
I don't even know if it went that far.
>> Yeah, that's the same video I saw. So, right now, >> you did see it, then you know what I'm talking about. Yeah.
>> So, right now, what's her name? Bri.
Essentially, she committed child abuse.
She's a felon cuz she >> Laya or Bri?
>> No, no, Bri. Because >> she charged Laya.
>> Yeah. She ran up on her. She threw.
Yeah, but was on her property and ran her mouth. I feel like they're both at fault. So, either let them both off or put them both in Judy.
>> Well, I want to talk to Yla about what happened.
>> Oh, you didn't talk to Laya yet? No, I'm looking for her, but I wanted to call you first being that you're her mom. I wanted to run that.
>> Yeah. So, Laya called my son cuz, you know, she didn't want to call me. Well, I had called my son after Amanda called me the mom. And I said, "Call your sister." And he said, "Well, she's at work." I said, "Well, you call her and you tell her to tell her boss there's a family emergency. She needs to come home." So, I said, "You get both those kids and you keep an eye on them until I see what's going on here." You know, I said, "Cuz I'm sure they're going to come pick her up and she's going to end up in Juvia live stream." And um he said, "All right, I'll have her leave work, pick him up, and bring them both over." And we're both mad at Tristan now because I feel like he's But she said they were fighting over her cell phone or something. I thought they were fighting over this boy.
>> Yeah, I think it's a combination of both things. I think it was boy issues.
>> One of her old phones, I guess, cuz lost her phone last week at a party or something and I guess Bri smashed it already, so I don't want it back.
>> Where's Yla right now?
>> She's at my house.
>> Okay. So, essentially, Laya is a victim of child. Do you want to prosecute?
>> No, but let me call my daughter first time before you talk to her because I don't want her pressing charges against Bri either. I think they're both idiots.
I don't want to see any of these kids get in trouble. I mean, we don't need this. Her mom and I do not need this headache right now. Let them beat of each other and get over it or both get a PFA and leave each other alone. You know what I mean?
>> You got a video of what happened.
>> Can I see that?
>> My phone.
>> You need to get this.
>> She got her phone chat.
>> Get her out. Oh yeah.
>> I got you.
I got you.
>> This is when I stepped in between them and separated.
>> She She kicked me in the stomach right there.
>> That's your little sis, bro. I don't put my hand >> I don't put my hand >> I ain't going to do it >> I got you're not making it any better >> what you got to bet for >> oh you want me to call my MOM CUZ SHE THE one who'll come over here you talking about >> I guess she had found out she had said something to one of her friends who was she stopped Bri the girl that she fought she had found out she had said something about like our relationship or whatever to another girl and talk or whatever.
So, bum, she text her. She was like, "Hey, like why you talking smack d?" She was like, "I wasn't." She was lying about it and I guess they got all riled up. Bum. She was like, "Okay, I'm going to meet you at your crib and I'm going to get all my stuff and you going to give me my phone back." And she was like, "No, I'm not. You're not getting."
She came and picked me up. Then we went to her crib. Then we was waiting outside, got out the car, went up to the porch. We was talking all cool with her brother and her sister. After that, she went in the house. She was like, "Uh, yeah, go in the house, get her whatever yours d." She went in there, got stuff.
She walked home from school, came down that way. This way, ran in the house.
She was like, "Why let them in the house?" So after that, they walked up.
They was just talking right here on the porch. She was just stepped up. And before all this, she took the camera down. So there was no video of that. But after that, they started screaming. I pulled my phone out and record. And that's what happened to be real. The second part, she came out. She was sitting on the porch. They was talking.
She had ran down a little bit. She was like I don't I don't remember what they were saying but she had ran down came back took her socks off and just ran at her and down just started cussing from there.
>> This all started cuz she was talking to my friend about like some personal with me and him that she had no reason to talk about and I just told her I said that's not cool. That's not what we do.
You know this like I'm pretty strict with like my friends and who I keep around me personal people like she's one of my only friends. Like I would have never thought end up like this obviously. I had told the sister and the brother Malia and Tyson like I didn't even want to fight her or nothing. Like I literally just wanted my stuff. They invited me in. They let me grab like my clothes and stuff. I got what I could see cuz I mean the house is disgusting.
Took the stuff in the car. And then when I was in the car, that's when she was walking home cuz usually I take her home.
>> Talk about bringing >> Yeah. I was in the car and she stormed up into the house and she was like cussing already. She's like y'all aren't supposed to let her in the house and blah blah blah like get her out of my house. She was having like your place like whatever. This is the phone I'm talking about. I had lent it to her to use cuz she went to a party. She got drunk and lost her phone. We have the Snapchat of the person that has her phone. I told her I would give it to her. Like it's not that serious. Y'all can go get it. I don't need to use my gas money. Like you don't ever give me gas money for nothing. I let her use me for so much stuff. And I told her that today. I like I think that's why she was so mad because I was being honest with her. Like she uses and when things don't go her way, she flips and gets mad at people and she does dumb. She came out the house and she was like getting in my face and talking about how she wasn't giving me the phone back until she gets her back. She like backed up into like the wall in the corner there on the porch. I just kept saying, "Give me my phone back. Give me my phone back." And she like she started saying a bunch of like personal family. Like I went like this to try to see if she had it in her pockets or nothing. She said, "Don't touch me. I'll hit you." So I backed up.
Wasn't going to touch her cuz I'm never going to lay hands on her first. Like I didn't want to fight my best friend. It looked like she was trying to go and get Tristan like out the door. So I stepped in the way and she pushed me. It looked like she was raising her hands.
>> Was she talking about going out the door to get Tristan? What do you mean?
>> Like he was standing up there. I was just focused on her and getting him out.
>> So she like bypassed you and she was going to head towards him and then you stepped in between.
>> Yeah, I just stepped in between.
>> And then you all started fighting after that.
>> Yeah. Malia brought out the phone. We grabbed it and we immediately got in the car and went home because that's literally all I wanted. That was my point.
>> Yeah. What did your mom say about pressing charges?
>> She said no. Is there any way I could get like a no contact order though?
>> If nothing comes of this, then yeah, y'all could go through the courts and get one. So Molina and Tyson told you to come over and get your stuff.
>> I didn't text or anything. I just I knocked on the door and I talked to Maria at the door and I told her like, "Did Bri tell you anything that's going on?" And she said, "No, she just texted me and said that you're on some dumb blah blah blah." And I explained to her what was happening. She was like, "Oh yeah, that's stupid blah blah blah." And they came outside and we sat and talking with you. I said, "Can I go in and get my stuff?" She said, "Yeah."
>> So she committed child abuse on you.
It's a felony. You committed battery on her. It's a misdemeanor. So I'm going to be straight up 100% with you. You're going to go to jail. Okay? I'm going to stand up real quick. He's going to hook you up. She's going to go to for felony child abuse. Call your mom. Let her know you want to call. You want to grab some slides or something for her? You're going to bring your phone with you. So, uh, she's going to go to the jail.
There's a 6-hour hold. Okay. Okay.
>> Being a juvenile, right?
>> Oh, this juvenile.
>> Yeah. DJ is going to look at your criminal history. They're going to look at the charges. They're going to decide if they want you or not. I would assume they don't want you. Meaning, you're going to get released within 6 hours to a guardian.
>> Can I take a picture of her walking away?
>> I hate you so much, bro. I hate both of y'all. Wait, can I have a can I kiss him?
>> SWAT here.
>> No, you're juvenile and you're whatever.
Let's go. Man, >> y'all have a good night, man. Sorry, >> Briana here.
>> So, the good news is um she got arrested for battery. Okay. So, the bad news is you're under arrest as well. Try to bring her around back all that stuff.
You want to bring a phone with you?
>> I haven't got a phone.
>> Oh, that's right.
>> Do you know when she'll have a bomb?
>> Tomorrow morning, she'll go to first appearance. See the judge. I'm sure we'll give her a bomb.
The younger girl was arrested for battery and the older girl was arrested for felony CA as she was 18 and her friend was a minor.
