Harmony of the Seas Full Ship Tour & Review (2026)Añadido:
Royal Crates Harmony of the Seas is one of the biggest cruise ships in the world. And we've got a look at everything you can do on board. From the pools to the shows to the casino and even everywhere you can eat on board.
We're going to show everything that you can do on board this massive ship in one ship tour. Strap in, grab a drink, and let's look at Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas up next.
Hey everyone, it's Matt from Royal Caribbean blog.com. Royal Caribbean updated Harmony of the Seas in 2026, and this is one of my favorite ships in the fleet. Now, this cruise ship has a lot going on, and whether you booked a cruise on Harmony or you're thinking about booking one, well, here is your full ship tour, so you know exactly what to expect before you get on board the ship. We're going to begin our tour here on the pool deck. And Harmony of the Seas has a massive pool deck. I mean, everything about the ship is massive, but you're going to find different pools to choose from, each with its own vibe and experience. There are actually three main pools, plus the kids water park on board, which we'll see. The difference between the pools, quite frankly, is more or less the aesthetic, like the size of it, the look of it, but they're all pools you can go to and choose from.
There are also hot tubs and world pools all around. the pool deck you can go to.
Of course, these offer some tantalizing views outside the ship or just to see invite people watch people of course round the pool deck itself. And of course, it' be remiss we didn't talk about one of the highlights of the pool deck, which are the water slides. There are three water slides on Harmony of the Seas. Starting off, there are actually two racer slides. The blue and the yellow slide. And then there is well the champagne bowl slide, the toilet bowl slide. I don't know what you call it, but basically the idea is you go into it and then yep, go right down the bottom of it. It's kind of fun to swirl around, see how many rotations you can do. Water slides are included in your cruise fair.
No cost for them. You just got to go and line up. Then there's Splashaway Bay.
Splashway Bay is really the kids aqua park on here. And there are some basic water signs really meant for like younger kids. But really the idea of Splashway Bay is to soak yourself, get absolutely drenched here because there are geysers, dump buckets, water coming out of everywhere. I mean, if you go in here, you're going to get absolutely soaked. There's also a hot tub nearby which I guess anybody can go into, but really all the kids will be in there as well. They like to run between the hot tub and splashway bay. There's also a baby bay, and baby bay is where you can go if you have a child that's still wearing a diaper that's exclusively for them to use. Splashway Bay has no cost to it, so kids can enjoy as much as they'd like to. All around the pool deck, you'll find Lime and Coconut.
There are three different locations on the pool deck for Lime and Coconut, and Lime Coconut is the Caribbean style bar that you'll find on this ship. The idea here is you're going to have not just panic coladas and dairies. Sure, they got those, too. But they have some amazing drinks you can try, including the actual lime and coconut drink.
There's also the watermelon Rita. I mean, there are so many cool and creative cocktails to try. But if you're just looking for your middle ultra or just your straight up strawberry daiquiri, they have those, too. There are a lot of coconut locations around the pool deck, both on deck 15 and 16.
So, regardless of where you are, there's going to be plenty to choose from.
Speaking of deck 16, we're going to move up to the upper pool deck. Remember, there are two pool decks. lower pool deck, the upper pool deck. Anyway, we're going up to the upper pool deck here on deck 16. Here you'll find way more lounge shares and also cassitas that you can rent. Now, the lounge shares are totally included. It's first come, first serve. Grab one, and let's face it, on a cruise ship, unfortunately, there are chair hogs, but as long as you get out there in the morning, you'll be okay.
Casinos have an extra cost. And basically, it's your spot for the day.
You can reserve one before the cruise on the Royal Caribbean cruise plan or even the Royal Caribbean app. and it allows you basically own private enclave. These are kind of neat. The only issue I have with them is there's really not a lot of shade. As you can see, there's really no walls and back to it and not a lot of privacy. But hey, it's a reserve spot for you and your family. Might be a good option for you. You also don't need to bring towels on Harmony of the Seas because they provide them for you. There are towel stations you can see here and basically go there, give them your CP pass card, and they give you any towels that you need. There's also the dive center if you're looking to purchase any items like snorkel gear for your cruise.
But really, the pool deck is going to be one of the most popular places on your cruise ship, especially on sea days. I mean, this is what a lot of people look forward to is hanging out and enjoying time there. Let's move into the carium, which is the adults only area at the very front of the ship. You need to be 18 years old in order to go into the carium. And basically, this is a quiet area for adults. It's not quite enclosed as you can see here. But the idea is that you have more of a refined experience where you're kind of just enjoying what an adult only area would be. Quieter. There's no pool band here.
There's obviously no kids here as well.
And the idea is that there are just a way to kind of relax. Now, there's no pool of course, but there are hot tubs here in the carium. So, if you want to go into the carium and enjoy time in the hot tubs, you've got that for you.
Otherwise, it's really for like lounging, suntanning. They don't have a pool, which is probably one of the biggest knocks on Harmony of the Seas in the Salarium, but they do have this like Stargate looking thing that basically you walk into and it mists you to cool you down. There's also a bar within the carium, aptly named, the Cararium bar, you can go to to grab a drink, and of course, there are wait services all around the as well. But if you'd like to go hang out at the bar, this is an option for you. And of course, you get all your favorite drinks. Venturing out to the front of the carium, if you will, there's a new outdoor deck out here. So, basically, this area has been added to Harmony of the Seas. And the idea is that this offers even more lounge space at the very front. In fact, this might be one of the best new sailway spots to enjoy because you're right at the front of the ship and it offers some unparalleled views. Plus, you can also get your suntan going. Located within the carium is the Salarium Beastro/Samba Grill. So, for breakfast and sometimes lunch when it's open, in fact, you've got Salarium Beastro. This is a complimentary venue, kind of an alternative to the Wind Jammer. It's hard to describe because it's not quite a buffet, not quite a sit down restaurant, but it's included. And even though it is in the salarium, which the adults only area, yes, your kids can go into the Saram Beastro and dine here.
The nice thing is it's usually a little less crowded than like say the Wind Jammer or other places because a lot of people don't even know it exists, but otherwise at dinnertime it becomes a special restaurant known as the Samba Grill. Samba Grillil is a Brazilian steakhouse and essentially you pay a cover charge to dine here for dinner and then they bring out a lot of meat. I mean there's different meats on different skewers and they just keep coming to you until you turn your green light red light over into red light and they'll stop bringing you more food.
It's a kind of all you can eat type experience. If you've been to Brazilian steakhouse on land, it's kind of sort of like that but it's Royal Caribbean's take on it. Nonetheless, you can dine at Samba Grill at dinnertime, but in the daytime, it is a complimentary venue known as Carium Beastro. Now, Carellarium is probably going to be a very popular choice for a lot of adults who are looking to get away from everything. But we're going to head back to where there's more activity, more energy, and that's going to be the sports deck at the very back of the ship. But before we get there, it's time for ice cream. That's right. There's actually a Sprinkles ice cream place you can go here with has unlimited ice cream during your cruise. all included and it's your choice of vanilla, chocolate, or the all popular swirl option and it is the most popular choice among YouTube editors who happen to record primarily Royal Caribbean videos. Anyway, Sprinkles is available for you and it's a great stop for families and people just like going here and grab something sweet and get on their way. You can take it anywhere you'd like to. Speaking of anywhere you'd like to, there's also El Loco Fresh. This is one of my favorite places on any real cruise ship. I mean, I just love Mexican food. And this is including your cruise fair and allows you to go stop by and enjoy tacos, burritos, chips, quesadillas. And the best part is you can customize it exactly the way you want it. I mean, you can see here they all come out kind of basic. But the beauty of this place is at the fixings bar right behind it where you can go and add all sorts of toppings. You can put a little bit, you can put a lot, hot sauce, lettuce, jalapeno, tomatoes, pico de gallo. I mean, this is a great snack, meal, whatever. I think a Locafreshesh definitely is a place you should stop by to grab something to eat. It's on the pool deck. It's open primarily for lunch and like close to dinner timeish. So, for me, a local is a great afternoon snack spot, but I will go here sometimes when we get back on the ship for a snack. Next up is Canvas. And honestly, this is more of a conference center. So, unless you're on the cruise ship with a group or have a meeting on board, you're probably never going to go in here. But hey, technically it exists. So, if you ever have a meeting, I guess this is a spot for it. Nearby is actually the Crown Lounge. The Crown Lounge is an exclusive area for Crown and Anchor members who are at least diamond or above. And this is a reserved area just for you. The idea behind the Crown Lounge is really it's a social space for you to hang out and just enjoy. You can be social. Certainly, in the evening hours, it's the most popular cuz there are drinks here. There's also the concierge in here, the diamond concierge, who can help you with any problems you might have, billing, logistical, whatever. they can make reservations for you. So, if you're a diamond member above, there you go. All right. Now, we're actually at the actual sports area on our tour. And the sports has a lot of activities starting with, of course, the sports court. Sports court is where you're going to have a variety of activities throughout the day. That means a basketball court at its heart. But as the day progresses, there are different events. There could be pickle ball in the morning, there could be soccer, there could be volleyball, there could be well basketball. And the fun thing about the sports court is they also have a combination of organized events and just like free play. basically just everybody doing whatever they want to do. Nearby, we have ping pong tables that you can go and enjoy those. Again, complimentary for all this stuff. By the way, I'll let you know if anything costs money. But in this case, ping pong is available for you. And just like the sports court, there are organized games, even tournaments, as well as just trying to beat someone named Earl over there.
Nearby that, we've got the mini golf course. There's actually a full mini golf course here on Harmony of the Seas, and yes, it's included in your cruise fair. The great thing about the mini golf course is it's actually more than just a bunch of holes here. Like there's like some challenges and some interesting designs to it. As you can tell, it has this kind of like ocean motif, I guess we'll call it, to it. But the nice thing about it, it's included cruise fair. It's available like 24 hours a day. So, I'd really recommend going here in the evening cuz nothing better than a little night mini golf.
And right across from it is the zip line. Also included in your cruise fair.
The zip line will take you across the entire boardwalk neighborhood. It is a very short ride, but hey, no cost to it and pretty darn thrilling. And I have to tell you that is something of all the activities, one of my favorites for sure. All right, let's head to the back back of the sports deck. There are a couple neat activities here to check out. First of all, we have the Flow Rider surf simulator. The Flow Rider is a surf simulator. You get your chance to try your hand at standup surfing. Before you can do that, they'll put you on what's essentially a boogie board and try body surfing. And if you don't wipe out terribly on that, I mean, you will, but like not immediately. Then you can upgrade to actually stand up surfing.
And maybe you'll be as good as this dude, but at least you'll get a bit of shot. I will say this much to all those who have more coordination than me. More power to you. It seems like a very hard challenge, but it can be done. Right near the Flow Rider is the Wipeout Bar.
This is a bar you can go to to order drinks. What's great about this is if you're hanging out anywhere in this vicinity, this is your closest bar spot.
Uh, so grab a beer, grab a drink.
Especially if the kids are doing it, this would be a great venue. At the very back is the Ultimate Abyss slide. The Ultimate Abyss is a really interesting idea. It goes all the way from the Sports Act down to the boardwalk. Now, this looks super scary because it's an enclosed dry slide, not a water slide, and it looks like you're going to go a million miles an hour in the dark. The reality is, yes, you are in the dark, but you don't go nearly that fast. I think in general it looks scarier than it is, but it's a really fun activity included in your cruise fair as well.
It's just first come, first serve, and you can actually race somebody down there. And when you get all the way down to the bottom, you'll exit right in the boardwalk, which is the next neighborhood on our tour. And the boardwalk is a whimsical area of the ship. It's open air. It's loosely themed after like the seaside boardwalks of Coney Island and even the British coast.
Anyway, couple different things to do here. There's different bars, activities, and whatnot. And this is a great spot for families to enjoy. As you're going to see, there's a lot of different activities hanging out in the boardwalk. And often times, different reasons will draw you back out here.
Starting with the carousel. The carousel is included in your cruise fair. You can ride this bad boy all day long. That's right, kids. You can go on here as many times as you want. There is rarely a line for it. And this is a handcrafted wooden horse carousel. It's really pretty and a lot of fun to go on it.
Parents can go on it. Kids can go on it.
Grandpa can go on it. Cook and Yo can go on it. It doesn't matter who you are.
It's all good. Nearby is the Boardwalk Dog House. This is a hot dog stand essentially. It's included in your cruise fairs. The good news is it's included. I mean, it's not going to like rock your socks. It's just, you know, hot dogs and BRZ and things of that nature. But hey, it's included. And since it's really close by to that carousel, often times I've watched my kids go on the carousel and go, "Well, I could wash my kids or I could watch my kids with a hot dog in my hand." And there you go. and I end up at the boardwalk. So, you know, load that bad boy up just the way you want it.
Personally, for me, Mustard and Kraut is the way to go. Right across the way is the arcade. And this is a video arcade.
It costs money and parents, this is a black hole for your kids because they're going to want to be drawn in here and they're going to want to draw you in there. Well, really, they don't need you. They just need your CPASS card to charge all the things. All the games in the arcade do cost money. It's all per game played. So, there's a cost depending on which one you want to do, whether it's a shooting game or ski ball or plucky ducky or a variety of other games they have in here. I mean, it costs money, but for a lot of people, hey, you know, sometimes it's just a nice little reward or a way to do something different. And so, the arcade is definitely somewhere you can go to enjoy video games while on board your ship. Heading back outside, we're going to head back out across the way right near the carousel to our next stop, which of course is, well, it's the shop.
It's a great name. The shop is basically a Royal Caribbean merchandise shop.
You're going to have a lot of different things in here that either say Royal Caribbean, Harmony of the Seas, or both.
And these are available for purchase.
Obviously, everything in here costs extra. But if you like to come home with a souvenir to commemorate the fact you were on Harmony of the Seas, well, this is where you can go. And I'm actually surprised, pleasantly surprised, I should say, by how nice all the things are on board. I mean, they offer a lot of different merchandise that go well beyond just a shirt that says Royal Caribbean or Harmony. I mean, there's some really creative designs and kind of nice way to again remember the ship.
Like, I like collecting coffee mugs from the ships I go on. So, that's an option as well. There are also other shops here on the board, including Design District and Sund Dials. Design District is more name brand merchandise you can purchase.
So, this isn't real Caribbean stuff.
This is like, hey, I'm on vacation and it's by name brand designers. If you're looking to pick up a souvenir, splurge, by gift, that's for you. Here. And Sundial certainly is an extension of that. That's available for you. Nearby is Johnny Rockets. Johnny Rockets is a specialty restaurant. For lunch and dinner, it has an extra cost. Obviously, this is a diner restaurant. You got burgers, hot dogs, chili, fries, milkshakes, BLTs. In the morning though, it's actually complimentary. So, only in the morning, you can have American breakfast for no additional cost. But for lunch and dinner, it does cost money to dine here. You can go here and basically everybody pays a cover charge.
And then it's unlimited food. You can really go crazy with the, you know, chili dogs and the hot dogs and the burgers. Milkshakes are very popular here. And the milkshakes, generally speaking, are usually included with the drink package. Admission isn't, but like the drink the actual milkshake is. So, kind of a neat spot to go to. I mean, I wouldn't say General Rocket is my favorite restaurant by any means, but hey, listen. And sometimes you're just in the mood for a really good burger and a milkshake, that's the place for you.
But if you're in the mood for a really good burger and really good bar food and maybe even watch your favorite game, Playmaker Sports Bar and Arcade is the place for you. Playmakers is located on the boardwalk and this is a specialy restaurant. The neat thing about this is everything is priced all cart. So you can drop in here and you know maybe order a beer and burger and that's it.
You don't have to like pay for anything else. So, you only pay for what you order, which is kind of nice, especially if you're coming back on board the ship and need something to eat and want to, you know, maybe just have a little light snack while you're watching the Yankees win again. Well, this is your option for you. There's also actually arcade games in here. Some of them cost money, but the classic ones, like Miss Pac-Man over there, usually are free, so for what it's worth. And the fun thing about it is it's like a sports bar. There's actually Connect Four on your table, and they bring out all sorts of different food. If you're going to order one thing though, Playmakers, make sure you get the campfire cookie. My goodness, it will change your life for the better. It is so darn good. Playmakers is the kind of restaurant we'll go to at least once a cruise because I really like the food.
It's priced reasonably and of course they've got, you know, lots of TVs to watch different games on. As we mentioned, we have the exit here from the Ultimate Abyss. And right next to it is the Lucky Climber. Lucky Climber is like a playground for kids, for young kids certainly. And as you can see here, the entire point is to simply get in there and climb. When my kids were really young, like under the age of six, this was the most fun thing in the entire world for them because all they like to do is just climb up and down, up and down, and up and down. Thank goodness there's a bar right nearby. I'm just saying as a parent. Also right nearby are not one but two rock walls.
The rock walls are included in your cruise fair. And there's different paths, you know, of different difficulties to get up to the top. And you can try your luck at it and see.
It's not only your luck, it's really your skill, right? Getting up there. If you can get all the way to the top, there's actually a bell you can ring and celebrate your victory of getting all the way up there. The Rock Wall is included and it's open every day of your cruise. You just have to watch for the hours. They're available to go up there.
At the very back of the boardwalk is the Aqua Theater. The Aqua Theater is one of the premier venues here on Harmony of the Seas. This is an open air amphitheater. And as you can see here, they do different shows during your sailing. Now, this is probably one of the must-seas. There are daytime shows, but the evening show is by far much better. And you're going to have divers, you're going to have slacklin liners, you're going to have dancers, you're going to have swimmers. I mean, it is a dancing show set to music. It's high energy. It's incredible feats. And the people that do like the slack lines all the way at the top and the diving all the way from the top. See that real Kirby logo? They're going to jump from there all the way down to the pool below. Like, I mean, that will take your breath away. It's incredible. So, really, the boardwalk is a hub of activity. Often times you're going to go out here to see what's happening.
Whether it's there for a show, going to playmakers, or just an event that roller is holding out here. It's one of the most popular venues on the ship and a place a lot of people head to because, well, quite frankly, there's always something happening here. You can also get to the jogging track from the boardwalk. There is a jogging track on Harmony of the Seas that goes all the way around the outside of essentially, we'll call it deck six, and you have the choice, of course, of walking or jogging or running. And what I like about this particular jogging track is it's not near the pool deck. So there's a lot less people to like walk around or run around rather, I should say, because often times when you have on older cruise ships, you have the jogging track up in the pool deck and there's people and there's they're just in the way.
Anyway, I digress. It's available for you. All right, next up is Central Park.
Right in the middle of Harmony of the Seas is an entire park and all these plants and trees you see, they're real.
They're not fake. And Royal Caribbean has an entire park in here. And there's restaurants, things to do. I absolutely love Central Park. Perhaps one of my favorite, if not my favorite place on any Royal Caribbean ship. I mean, it is just stunning out here. It's beautiful.
I love how you have all these live plants that take really what would otherwise be kind of a boring middle of the ship and turn it into something completely different. Let's start off with Chops Grill. Chops Grill is a special restaurant that has a cover charge. This is Royal Caribbean's steakhouse restaurant. I mean, if you're looking for filet minan, ribeye, tomahawk steak, this is the place for you. There's a cover charge to dine here and you have a variety of different steaks to choose from. They do serve some other food like salmon, and even lobster, but I think really if you're going to a steakhouse, you're probably ordering steak, and steak is really what it's all about here at Chops Grill. I mean, Chops Grill is on every single Royal Caribbean cruise ship, and it's there for a reason because steak is just very popular, and it's a reason why a lot of people end up going to, at least this restaurant, if not other restaurants. But Chops Grill is a venerable stalwart of any Royal Caribbean ship. The nice thing about Harmony is they actually have outdoor seating in addition to indoor. So if the weather's not too bad out, it's really nice to get out there and enjoy a meal in the evening outside. All right. Right across the way, my favorite special restaurant, 150 Central Park. 150 Central Park's cuisine is like just basically new American food, right? It's nothing like a particular cuisine otherwise, but it's just really good. I love the menu. menu. I think it has one of the best menus out there. I mean, it does actually have a beef tenderloin for two, which you can have for one. It's okay. I'm telling you, you got permission for it. But they have a lot of other things in here. And I swear every single thing on the menu is absolutely fantastic. This went from a restaurant that I thought I was afraid of it. I thought it was like more too fru like woo. It's like a foodie kind of thing. No, I'm telling you, they've got some amazing food here to try. So 150 Central Park is a great idea. And there is, of course, at the end you have fried cheesecake. Jenna, our YouTube editor, salivates over it, complains she doesn't get enough of it, and wishes she could go back on cruises just for it. So, I guess I'm telling you, you should probably try it out if you're going to 150 Central Park. Next up on our tour is Park Cafe. Park Cafe is a complimentary venue within Central Park, and this is basically like a wind jammer light. It's like a buffet you can go to, and it offers basically free food to get at any point, and it's open for breakfast and for lunch. And I love Park Cafe. It's easy in, easy out. Not nearly as popular as other venues out there or as busy anyway, but they have some great choices. They also have the Royal Camwick sandwich for lunch, which is fantastic. And for breakfast, they have a great breakfast bar and also hot sandwiches that they grill quite on the spot. For lunch, they also have a salad bar. So, if you're really big into that, that's a good choice for you. I often end up part cafe primarily on mornings before we go on a shore excursion or maybe on lunch days in which we're looking to avoid the crowds because a lot of people either don't know it exists or they just simply prefers to eat somewhere else. But I really do like Park Cafe for a great start to my day.
You also find plenty of seating within Central Park, both at Park Cafe and around it. I mean, it's a great area to hang out. I encourage you to go to Central Park both in the evening and the daytime because in the evening they have live jazz music performed right here. I mean, grab a chair, maybe a cocktail and enjoy the live performances. I mean, if there's one thing Royal Caribbean does really well, it's live music. And I love just sitting out here and enjoying that.
But even when there's not entertainment, it's just nice being outdoors and enjoying the ambiance of being in Central Park. Next up is Giovani's Italian Kitchen. This is a specialally restaurant that has a cover charge design here. And I have to say, Giovani is one of my favorite places to eat on any Royal Caribbean ship. I love the menu here. It's an expansive menu.
You've got pastas, you've got pizzas, you've got salads, you've got chicken parm. I mean, a chicken parm, you you said my name right there. I love that.
But I really think the food stands out as totally worth it. In fact, I would might say I'd rather eat at Giovani's over even Chops. And by the way, they do have a steak here as well. But regardless of that fact, I think Giovani is one of those kind of great crowd-pleasing type of restaurants because it's hard not to find something you really enjoy here at Giovani. Just like Chops, they have outdoor and indoor seating. So the weather's nice. You can eat outside and I love evenings out there as well. But Giovani is a great choice for especially restaurants. Right next door to it is Giovani's Wine Bar.
So this is of course a bar and they have the greatest selection of wines. You'll find wine in other bars for sure, but if you're a wine person, this is the spot for you. Giovanni's Wine Bar offers also some light bites as well, but really the selection of wines is going to be the greatest over here. So, if you're looking for more than just a bottle of red, well, they're going to have plenty of choices. Some of which are included with the Royal Caribbean drink package.
Some, of course, that'll cost you extra.
But, I think the wine bar has a great vibe to it. Really comfortable seating.
It's a great spot to go to for a pre or post or both dinner drink. Another absolute favorite bar is the Trellis Bar located right in the middle of Central Park. Trellis Bar is one of my go-to.
Hey, let's have a pre-dinner cocktail. I mean, you've got the ambiance Central Park. You have the outdoor seating. I It's hard not to enjoy your drink just a little bit more when you're at Trellis Bar. They have the standard menu here of drinks to choose from, but I think what makes this bar stand out is just the fact you can go here in the evening and enjoy a cocktail again before, during, or after your dinner. It's not a bad choice. And honestly, if I'm on an Oasis class ship, this is probably where I'm going to go during my evenings. In addition, there are also some shops within Central Park, a couple different high-end boutique stores. If you're looking to pick up some name brand jewelry, I mean, Cardier, I mean, you want to drop five figures on jewelry, this is the shop for you. And so, if it's that's the case, more power to you.
But Central Park is a great spot to go hang out in, as you can tell. I mean, I just love walking through here. And I'll honestly walk through Central Park purposely to get from the back to the front or front of the back of the ship just because I just enjoy it's much more interesting than a hallway for sure and it's always something going on over here. If not, it's just pretty. All right, we're going to head inside now to the Royal Prominade. In fact, there's actually a bar, the rising tide bar that goes between Central Park and the Royal Prominade. The Royal Prominade is the main thorough fair. When you board Harmony of the Seas, this is where you'll board the ship. There is dining, there's shopping, there are bars here.
The Royal Prominade has a lot of activity. A lot of events are held here.
It's pretty rare to walk through the Royal Prominade and not find some sort of activity. We're going to begin with the Schooner Bar. The Scooter Bar is located on deck six of the Royal Prominade. And this is the piano bar.
During the daytime, you'll find trivia and other events held here. But at night, this is where it really shines.
You're going to have a pianist that performs. Of course, there's a bar here with its own special menu of number of drinks. The Scrter Bar has a very light theme to it in the sense that it's a nautical theme, but hey, it's a great place to hang out. Also nearby is the Crown and Anchor desk, the loyalty desk.
So, if you have a question about your loyalty account, something's not right, you want to add someone to your account, points, whatever. Any questions there, you'll go to that spot. Right across the way is the combined photo gallery and shore excursion desk. So, this is where you can go to both book a excursion as well as pick up any photos you may have ordered. You can do all this, by the way, both with short excursions and photos. You can book them all through the Royal Caribbean app, but sometimes you want to talk to somebody. You have a question, a concern, there's an issue, you go over here to do it, but you can also book your tours right here as well.
My recommendation for short excursions, you should book them all before the cruise. Not only save money, but to ensure that they don't sell out. So really don't wait till your cruise to actually book your tours. But of course if you have any questions or concerns, this is the place for it to go to. All right, we're going to head downstairs to the deck five of the Royal Prominade, which is really the main part of the Royal Prominade, and see what's going on all around here. First of all, there's the Voom desk right nearby. The Voom desk is where you can go if you have any questions about your internet access.
It's pretty straightforward, but occasionally people have questions about how to get connected or the device isn't working the way they want it to. Anyway, any technical issues you have, you can go over here. It's not quite asking somebody named Craig for help, but it's the next best thing and they can definitely help you out with obviously if you have any issues ordering it or any technical glitches. Right nearby is the port and shopping desk. I can safely say I've never been here ever, but I mean if you want some advice where to shop in port, they can point you in the right direction. Something else really neat about Harmony of the Seas is the Pesky Parrot added in 2026. This is a Polynesian bar, a tiki bar. It's got a great vibe to it. I love how fun this bar is. They've got creative cocktails, completely new menu for it. And what really makes Pesky Parrot fun is that it's not just another bar. It's got its own vibe to it. It's got air conditioning. I'm a big fan of that. But also the drink menu. There's so many great choices. I mean, I love any bar that goes beyond, you know, the simple usual drinks you find on a cruise ship.
And they have a ton of choices, including a lot of pre-made frozen drinks. But I got to tell you, you got to go to the Pesky Parrot. Order at least a couple different drinks here.
This is a great bar if you have a Royal Caribbean drink package because it's all included in your drink package and it's a great way to sample different drinks and try things out. I really think that it's a really fun option for you. The fact there's a robot parrot named Ricky who if you sit there long enough will start just spouting out things as if the parrot's been drinking as well. It's a fun idea and I really like this park quite a bit. Right outside the pesky parrot is more seating. I usually find people just hanging out here waiting for somebody, waiting for dinner. I don't know what they're waiting for, but this is like the waiting spot. Um, and so it exists. Anyway, the Rising Tide Bar, as we talked a little earlier, is the bar that takes you between the Royal Prominade and Central Park. Yes, this bar actually levitates or at least moves up and down very slowly. So, the cool idea here is you sit down, have a drink, have another drink, but in the meantime, wait as your bar slowly moves between the prominade and Central Park. It's a really neat idea. I mean, it's a little bit of a gimmick, but I'll tell you, it's undeniably fun and pretty neat to sit here and just people watch. So, a fun spot, something to do at least once while you're on board Harmony of the Seas. You'll also notice on deck 5 is guest services. So, guest services is where you can go if you have any questions during your cruise about billing, something not working, any problems you have. Well, if you have problems with your family, that's on you, but if you have problems with other guests and basically any question you might have, guest services is usually the spot to go to for it. They're open 24 hours and they can help you with any of those issues there. You can even get cash, deposit money, pay off your bill.
It's definitely the busiest on day one and the last day of the cruise. But if you can time it out or at least wait it out a little bit, usually there's not much of a line there. All right, let's explore more of the Royal Prominade.
There's way more interesting things than guest services to check out. And on our next stop, we're going to also see right in the middle of it, a classic car. How cool is that? It's a It's actually a real car, believe it or not. Take photos in front of it. It's a great photo op. I recommend it quite a bit. You'll also find Next Cruise. Next cruise is where you can go to book another Royal Caribbean and cruise. I get the question all the time, Matt, should I book a cruise on board Harmony of the Seas? The answer is yes. If you're on board Harmony, and you're thinking, man, this is great. Let's book another cruise.
Don't wait while you're at home to book your cruise on here. The advantages really aren't that much, and the price could go up, then thus negating the extra onboard credit you might get from next cruise. But if you're on board the ship and seized with the inspiration to book another cruise, then go there.
Right across the way is Cafe Prominade, an included restaurant. This is your coffee shop essentially that's included in your cruise fair. You can find both pastries, sandwiches, and snacks and complimentary coffee, iced tea, and teas. Now, in addition, they also sell extra cost coffees. Maybe a little confusing here, but go with me on this one. You can get regular coffee, black coffee, you know, regular tea, that's included. But in addition, you could purchase a we'll call it a Starbucks style drink, right? A macchiato or a Frappuccino. And if you have a drink package or a diamond drink, it's actually included in your cruise fair.
But the snacks they offer here are really nice. They have breakfast in the morning. They have late night bites.
It's a good spot for that. And for a lot of people, Cafe Proomenade is the meetup spot, the hangout spot, the let's get work done spot. It's usually very, very popular. And whenever I have a Royal Caribbean drink package, this is my go-to spot to get some extra coffees here cuz hey, it's included with your drink package. All right, moving down.
plenty more opportunities to eat and drink as you're about to see because our next stop on our visit is going to be Sarrento's Pizza. Sentos Pizza is included in your cruise fair. And guess what they serve here? Yep, you guessed it. Just pizza and a lot of pizza and all the time. I mean, it's not open 24 hours, but it's open late night. When you get to 12:00, midnight, 1:00 a.m., 2:00 a.m., this is the spot. And they've got a couple different varieties. They always have cheese and pepperoni, and then they'll have one or two rotating options. Maybe it's vegetarian. Maybe it is just some sort of a chicken one or I don't know. But anyway, it rotates every day. But the good news is this is where you can get slices of pizza. Is the pizza amazing? No, it's not Connecticut pizza, which is, by the way, the greatest pizza in the entire world. But it's the next best thing to it. And hey, it's including your cruise fair. So enjoy it because STO's Pizza is available for you throughout your cruise. And my kids love going to Srento's Pizza cuz it's just a great easy snack. It's plenty of seating. You take the pizza anywhere you want.
Whether it's back to the casino to gamble more Earl or perhaps to just simply enjoy right there at Sarrentos and then head back to do something else.
Maybe it's your room, whatever. Anyway, Srentos Pizza is available during your cruise.
Right across the way, one of my favorite spots on this ship is the Boot and Bonnet Pub. This is an English pub. And sure, love the drinks in here, too, cuz you get a Guinness, you can get a cocktail, you know, all sorts of drinks.
But what makes this bar special is the late night entertainment. They have a guitarist in here who plays bar songs.
It's the kind of songs that I don't know about you, but the kind of songs I heard in college and it's just fun to sing along to. Oasis and Guns and Roses and Chumbo Womba, you know, the kind of songs you just can't get enough of. And if you have a drink or two, it really goes a long way. During the day time, they serve drinks as well, but there's no entertainment in here. Although, occasionally they'll do trivia or some other event. But really, you got to come here in the evening to enjoy the live entertainment because I think the pub singer really is one of my favorite forms of entertainment on board any Royal Caribbean ship. If you're not interested in the singing and the and all the show, well, you can sit outside and just do people watching while you have your drinks. And yes, there's waiter service both inside and outside.
You're also going to find plenty of shopping on the Royal Prominade. And there's a variety of shopping opportunities at different stores and kiosks. And even within the middle of the prominade, there are different sales and things that you can purchase. These could be Royal Caribbean souvenirs, they could be jewelry, they could be knickknacks, they could be chachkis.
There's all sorts of things available for you to purchase on board. But in general, you can find a variety of shopping opportunities. Some stuff is name brand, and in other cases, they're just, you know, run-of-the-mill more generic stuff. Maybe you just need a hat or a pair of sunglasses or you'd like to purchase a new shirt. That's available as well. In addition, there's also cosmetics you can purchase, as well as liquors and lotions and sprays. Uh, you know, a lot of the stuff is duty-free, so the idea here is that you maybe be able to save a little bit of money. But I think for a lot of people, they're just looking to be at a nice souvenir.
So depending on what your needs are or you simply want to window shop, this is all available for you. And there also going to be events and activities during your cruise right here on the Royal Prominade. The really neat thing is there's like usually a party or an event every evening. Live music, DJ music, dance parties, you name it, they've got plenty going on over here. And I'm always impressed how much energy there is. In fact, on the first night of your cruise, there's probably going to be a midnight balloon drop. How cool is that?
Right in the middle there's also an artwork display. Every roller ship has big on art and here on Harmony you've got that. All right, let's move on to the on air club. On Air Club is well the karaoke bar here on Harmony of the Seas.
So if you're into singing your favorite tunes, no matter how bad or good you are, well, this is your option for it.
They'll have karaoke multiple times every day of your cruise here. They do teen karaoke, family karaoke, adult karaoke, and then just general karaoke.
and it's your opportunity to sing your favorite song. If I had to sing a song and I actually had the guts to get up there, I would sing you've lost that love and feeling. But man, I ain't going up there anytime soon, so don't worry about that. Of course, there's a bar here so that way you can have some liquid courage to get up on the karaoke stage and try your luck at it. It gets very popular. I should mention on Air Club is also the de facto Vitality Cafe.
So, one change really for me to made was get rid of Vitality Cafe in the spa, which we'll see in a little bit. But instead, you can get all those smoothies and drinks that people like to get that was available at Vitality Cafe right here in On Air Club. It's kind of a pop-up option that's available during the daytime.
All right, right across the way, Boleros. Bolos is the Latin themed bar.
This is where you're going to find live music, great drinks, and yes, lots of dancing. Boleros is one of the most popular bars on any Royal Caribbean ship. I people love to get up and dance to some really high energy music and you'll find it in plenty of options here at Boleros. I also think Boleros has a great menu of different margaritas, mojitos, caprias. I mean, they've got a lot of good choices for drinks here. So, if you're looking for the best of all those, this is the place for it. And of course, the music. I mean, you walk by Boleros at night, there's going to be a party in here for sure. It's definitely a good spot. Right in the middle of the row, Premod is an actual Starbucks kiosk. So, this is a Starbucks kiosk just like you find maybe in your supermarket or Target store. It's a standalone kiosk. It's not included in your drink package. So, everything you see over here costs extra. You can use your Starbucks card to pay for the drinks. You just can't redeem any rewards. You'll earn rewards, but you can't redeem them. So again, it's like a any kind of kiosk you probably seen at home. But if you need your Starbucks drinks, and yes, they do have seasonal drinks, red cups and pumpkin spice lattes and all that, they will have that when you're on board the ship. It's a great little option for you. And if you're looking to splurge, that's available for you. Overall, the Royal Prominade has a lot going on. As I mentioned, you'll board the ship here, but you'll probably spend a lot of time going back to the Royal Prominade daytime, evening time. There's just always something going on here. And I love how much there is to do and how open it is. That's one of the best things about the Royal Prominade. It's a hub of activity. Tons to experience. One of my favorite things about this ship.
Now that we've completed our tour of the Royal Prominade, let's head down to Entertainment Place deck 4, which is obviously one deck below where we are currently, and check out what's available over there. The Entertainment Place neighborhood essentially is a collect all of a lot of different theaters and entertainment things basically happening on board the ship, as we're about to see. So essentially there's a lot of activity here especially in the evening hours. We're going to begin with Casino Royale. So one of the changes on Harmony this season you'll notice if you went on Harmony years before is that there's a much larger expanded casino. So there used to be the Crown Lounge and the attic over here. They're all gone. It's been replaced by a non-smoking casino.
This entire section is non-smoking allowing those to enjoy of course gambling without any smoke at all within the vicinity. So, this is an area of course where you can gamble and try your luck. And it's a pretty expansive option that expands into different directions essentially. And what I like about this particular casino is that there's a bar here. There are table games. It's feels almost like a land casino. It doesn't feel like a room with slot machines if that makes sense. The casino is very popular on Royal Caribbean. You're going to notice in the evening hours that it gets very crowded in here because a lot of people just see it as a form of entertainment and of course an opportunity to hopefully win some money out there. So, if you're feeling lucky, well, Casino Royale might be an option for you. Next up is the Royal Theater.
The Royal Theater is the main theater on board the ship. This is where the stage production shows are held. Now, usually there's some sort of a show every evening in the Royal Theater. There might be the Love and Marriage game show. There might be a comedian in here.
There might be a magician or a juggler.
And they also have stage shows in here, including one of my favorites, Columbus the Musical. This is an original production that is a tongue andcheek approach to essentially Columbus's lessernown cousin who doesn't really exist, Marvin Columbus. Anyway, really fun show. I'd recommend it. And the adult comedy is really fun, too. All of it, by the way, all the entertainment here in the Royal Theater, included in your cruise fair. So, no additional cost to do it. Simply make a reservation before your cruise begins via the cruise planner or the Royal Caribbean app. You could get in standby line and show up later, but I definitely recommend making reservations. You'll also find Studio B, which is the ice rink on board. So, there are two things you can do in the ice rink. One is see an amazing ice skating show on board. These ice skaters are worldrenowned skaters who skated professionally, probably for their home countries at one point or another. And now they're on Royal Caribbean, which is amazing. And they perform a really fun show. I got to tell you, while you might be thinking to yourself, "Ice skating show? Really, Matt?" Trust me when I tell you, it's much better than it sounds. During the daytime, there is free skate where you can actually get on the ice and skate around. Real provides all the gear you need, including skates.
You simply need to bring long pants and socks. It's the only requirement. And then you can try it out. It's a lot of fun. In the very late night, they might have an event or two in here, like a DJ party. They might have the quest, which is an adult scavenger hunt, and a lot of other events in here. Basically, late night, they turn this into a really big party area, including the DJ. So, check it out. You're going to find a couple different things happening in Studio B.
And like all shows, I recommend giving it a try. Now, on the other side of Studio B, if you will, as we continue down the deck, is the other casino. This is the main casino. And the casino on Harmony of the Seas has a split between smoking and non-smoking. So, one side is smoking, one's non, although, as you can probably imagine, the smoke smell certainly permeates over. Nonetheless, this is another extension of the casino and more gambling opportunities. Royal Green realized quite frankly that there's so much demand for gambling that it created one of its biggest casinos ever here on Harmony of the Seas. What I like about this side is again variety because if you're gambling whether it is slot machines or table games sometimes it's nice to mix it up, find something different and if you are a slot player you know listen not all machines are equal. Some definitely pay out better and it's nice to try out new games out there with gambling. You know, there are some inherent benefits if you can gamble responsibly because Royal Car will actually reward you with free cruises if you gamble enough with it. More information about that in another video, which I'll link to down in the description below. But if you're interested in it, well, there's plenty of opportunities. You'll also find the Park West Gallery. So, this is an art gallery that offers art auctions during the sailing. The idea here is you can preview the art and then go to the art auction and bid on it essentially. I'm not a huge fan of the art auctions, but I understand some people really enjoy it, just like some people really enjoy gambling. So, to each their own. For me, I like walking down these hallways, simply admiring the artwork and seeing which ones I would like to have in my house perhaps if I was willing to actually pay for it, but I'm not. So, you know, it's just something to look at as I'm going from point A to point B.
And they do change the artwork actually throughout the cruise. So, on different days, they put out different pieces because they're going to be bidding on different things during the art auctions. So, there you have a look at the Entertainment Place. The entertainment place really has a lot going on. It's mostly in the evenings.
In the daytime, it's a little quieter, but the casino is open like not quite 24 hours, but pretty close to it.
Nonetheless, you'll find plenty of entertainment. When it comes to all shows on Harmony, give them a try. You can always walk out if you don't like it. You know what I mean? And it's all included in your cruise. Not the casino, but the shows, I mean. So, definitely worth a try there. Our next visit is going to be Vitality at Sea. This is a spa and fitness center. The spa, of course, costs extra. So, if you want to purchase a massage or a treatment of some kind, this is where you can do it.
You can purchase before the cruise or once you're on board. The advantage of purchasing it on board is that it might actually give you a combo deal. Whereas online before the cruise, if you just want one treatment, it's an option there. There's a salon on board. You get your nails done, hair done, hair cut, all that good stuff. Blowouts, they got all that here at the salon. But I think the Vitality at Sea Spa is really most well known for the treatments, whether they're massages of variety of kinds. In fact, you can actually tour the spa when you get on board the ship. There's no obligation, no cost to do so. I'd recommend actually doing it just to see what the facilities look like. It's rather impressive, actually, and you can walk around and they'll escort you through there, show you off all the different options, and they'll of course, you know, offer you to sell you a treatment. You don't have to do it.
Um, but the nice thing about the spa treatments is that it can be a really nice add-on, a little bit of a splurge.
They also have the thermal spa on Harmony of the Seas. It includes things like these thermal chairs that you're seeing over here, hot shower rooms, the rainforest room, and it's a pass you buy for the duration of your cruise. You can buy it once on board. There is also an amazing fitness center on board. And as somebody who uses the gym more than I ever used before on a cruise ship, I love how expansive the gyms are on board, including this one here on Harmony of the Seas, how many machines there are. I mean, there are way more exercise bikes and treadmills than you could ever use, and there's an impressive amount of exercise equipment.
I mean, this is not like, you know, some gym you find at a Holiday Inn that has a few machines in the corner. It's really expensive. In fact, they even have fitness classes. The gym itself, no cost. There are fitness classes, those costs extra, but you can go here and do your workouts and enjoy the fitness center and it's available basically 24 hours a day. So, enjoy that at your leisure.
All right, moving upstairs. We're going to head in the elevators. And there are two elevator banks on Harmony of the Seas. One in the forward part of the ship, one in the back. And you might spot in the elevator, in fact, the stowaway piano player. This is somebody who plays the piano. They there's no schedule. They just simply shop somewhere and they'll play almost any song. I mean, my favorite is to request a Super Mario Brothers theme, but hey, they can do that for you. Of course, Royal Caribbean being a family cruise line. We haven't talked yet about Adventure Ocean. Adventure Ocean is the kids club on board. You can bring kids between the ages of six months and 17 years old over here. There's a lot happening. Start with the Playplace.
Playplace is an open play area, but they have Adventure Ocean Babies for kids between the ages of 6 and 36 months old.
So, Adventure Ocean Babies does cost extra, but the rest of it is included, including Adventure Ocean Juniors, which is 3 to 5year-olds. And that's the beauty of this, by the way. It's all age specific. So, that way the younger kids have more age appropriate activities compared to the older kids. There's the Adventure Ocean Theater, which is basically a movie room for kids. They'll both use it when Adventure Ocean is in session as well as just for the general public. Like if you want to, you know, bring your kids in and watch a movie together, you can do that here. There's a lot of activities in Adventure Ocean.
I mean, the kids club is no joke. It's not just a room to throw kids into with a ball pit. There's a lot of cool things in here. They have a science lab. They have different activities, arts and crafts, video games. It's really impressive how much you can do here.
You'll also find science lab, which is the escape room. The escape room costs money, but this is a time challenge.
This is, by the way, for adults, after kids, but this is an escape room option where you have like an hour to figure out how to solve a bunch of puzzles to quote unquote escape the room.
Next up, we have the Teen Center, Social 100. So, if you got a teenager between the ages of 13 and 17, this is where they can go to meet other teenagers. No cost here as well, just like Adventure Ocean. It's an area just for them.
You'll also find another arcade up near the pool deck. And this one is just well it's another arcade. Cost money here as well. It's just closer to Adventure Ocean. So conveniently, yes, it can be for your kids to go spend more money.
But if you're looking for a different set of video games that you couldn't find down in the boardwalk, you'll have them up here as well. The cost extra.
But hey, if you're looking to spend some money, I mean, for me, I let my kids go here, you know, play three or four games maybe every day or two just to do something different and mix it up. And I like it, too. I mean, listen, at the end of the day, if I can school my kids in ski ball, I am all for that. There's also a sundry store which sells basically like stuff you might need for the pool deck. There also some toys here for the kids, but I really think this is basically meant to be a backup option for folks who wish they had brought, you know, a water bottle or something like that. All right, now that we've covered the neighborhoods, there's other areas of the ship we still haven't seen yet.
Yeah, can you imagine how big the ship is? Well, there's more stuff to see here on our ship tour, and we're sharing it all with you, not holding back anything.
Let's move on to our next spot. We'll begin with the Wind Jammer marketplace.
The Windjam, as I like to call it, is the buffet on board. Buffet is included in your cruise fair. It's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When you walk in, you wash your hands.
Washywashy, coffee, coffee, smiley, smiley, yummy, yummy. And they have here different food throughout the day. It's a buffet. Grab as much as you like to.
The breakfast menu is pretty much same every day. Lunch and dinner though do vary a little bit more with themes to them that offer some options. But this is like the best place for families on board. I mean, it's going to have your basics. You're going to have your burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, salads, but they also have a lot of great international foods. They'll have Indian curries. They'll have cooking stations, pastas. They'll have even just some foods you never even heard of before. That's what I love about the Wind Jammer, the variety. And there's something for everybody on board, which is really, really nice. So, I really am a big fan of what this space is. And while you know the buffet on a cruise ship gets kind of a bad rap sometimes, it's actually impressive how much food Royal Caribbean offers here, especially considering it's all included. Now, it's not open 24 hours, but it is open for many hours of the day, especially again breakfast is very popular. Dinner le I think breakfast and lunch probably the most popular times and actually dinner because people are in the main dining room or especially restaurants gets a little less busy. Nonetheless, lots of seating, lots of food. Enjoy it for sure. I think you'll enjoy eating here in the Wind Jammer. One thing I wanted to highlight about the Wind Jammer also are the cooking stations. Look for them in the back of the Wind Jammer because they really do prepare fresh food for you. No cost for it and it's a hidden gem. So definitely walk around, see what's available before you start loading up your plate with all that food.
You'll also find the seven of hearts room, which essentially is the card room, game room. If you brought a table game with you or some cards you like to play, this is your opportunity or place rather to go play it. There's also a library here. So this is the one spot you can go to to borrow a book. You'll also find some internet kiosks to use.
These cost money. You still need an internet package to use them. But if you'd like to, that's available for you as well. The board games and books are complimentary. You just use them and then return them when you're done. But if you brought your own board game, which you could do if you'd like to, well, Seven Hearts is probably the spot for you because they have those open tables to use. Our next stop is Dazzles.
Dazzles is a multi-use venue. It's really just like a music venue, and you'll find primarily live performances in here. A lot of times the ship's band performs in here, especially in evening hours, but during the daytime they might have events in here as well, like name that tune and things of that nature, but I think it's a lot of fun to go here. I love the layout of Dazzles. Great views.
It's two decks high in fact. And what's really neat about Dazzles is the fact that you get that live entertainment factor. I mean, they do not only just like, hey, let's sing songs, but they incorporate the crowd. There's usually a lot of energy and of course, yes, drinks as well to enjoy as you're listening to that entertainment. So, Dazzles is another option to go to in the evening hours to enjoy some more live entertainment on board. I mean, Harmony does not skimp on things to do. If you're bored on this ship, you're just not looking hard enough. Let's be honest.
All right, we've done a lot. We've seen a lot. It's time to eat again. We're going to head downstairs to the main dining room. The main dining room is available on board the ship and it's available for breakfast and dinner every night of your cruise. If you're on a Cday, well then lunch is available here as well. There is no cost to eat in the main dining room and you'll have actually assigned tables every evening for you. The choice is traditional dining or my time. I don't have enough time in this video to go over the differences between both of them. I'll link it below in our video here in the description to have an example of what you should expect with it. Nonetheless, the great thing about the main dining room is that it has this really air of sophistication. It's not as fancy as it looks, but what's great is you have table service. In the breakfast hours, it's just first come, first serve, but at dinner, you have a different rotating menu, and you'll be seated at a table with a dedicated waiter. And I really like this aspect of it. It's been a throwback to the old days of cruising.
But I be honest with all of you, I really look forward to eating the main dining room because I love the choices of food. Because the menu rotates every night, there's something different to choose from. Some options reappear like the French onion soup, spaghetti bolognes. Other things will change and you only see them once per the cruise.
So, it's kind of nice that it's not always the same food. And I think it's an absolutely stunning space. Three decks, so much brightness to it. It just feels like you're in a fancy dining room. And it's not nearly as fancy as it looks. There are theme nights including formal night or dress your best as Royal Caribbean calls. Don't worry, it's not nearly as formal as it sounds. Next door is Iumi, Hibachi, and Sushi. This is the Japanese specialally restaurant. It's a combination of well, sushi and tapanyaki style dining. You'll need to pay extra to dine in either spot. You'll have, of course, the sushi side, which serves sushi and a variety of Japanese cuisines, and the very popular hibachi option nearby. This is where they cook in front of you, fling pieces of egg into your mouth, try to catch it, and cook the food and serve it right to you.
This is such a crowd-pleaser. The habachi option, I got to tell you, if there's one restaurant you want to try as a family or a large group, Habachi is a good one. Although, I do recommend you make a reservation because it will sell out before the cruise begins. So, very, very popular and honestly, one of my, if not my favorite restaurant on any Royal Caribbean ship. I absolutely love IUI. I think it really stands out as a terrific choice. and somewhere I never regret eating at. If you're staying in a suite, Harmony of the Seas has a reserved area just for sweets. And we didn't have a suite booked for this particular cruise.
So, the footage you're seeing is actually from a different sailing, but no major updates were made to the suite area in 2026. So, you know, they might have updated like the carpet or something like that, but the layout and look of the suite area is still the same. The sweet lounge offers you a reserved space just for you to enjoy.
And what I love about the sweet lounge is it's not nearly as crowded as other lounges. If you're staying in a suite, there's complimentary drinks in the evening. In fact, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks. And then the evening hours, cocktails get included to that. It's like your own little mini drink package, if you will. And they have ordurves served here in the evening hours orves.
During the daytime, it's just snacks and whatnot. And there's a 24-hour self-service coffee machine where you get espresso, cappuccino, and lattes.
really nice. Next to it is Coastal Kitchen. And Coastal Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every night of the cruise exclusively for sweet guests and Pinnacle Club members. When you're dining at Coastal Kitchen, it's kind of like main dining room part two.
They have a different menu than Main Dining Room. And people often ask me, Matt, is Coastal Kitchen better than the main dining room? I would say it's simply different. Some nights, yes, I prefer Coastal Kitchen over the main dining room. Other times, not so much. I think dinner is by far is the best meal in Coastal Kitchen. Breakfast second and lunch I'm not really fond of. But anyway, coastal cushion is included if you were staying in a grand suite or higher. So check that out. And lastly, we have the sweet sund deck. The sweet sund deck is a reserved area just for sweet guests. So you don't have to contend with other passengers for, you know, space on the pool deck. I mean, you still have other sweet guests you're competing with, but it's far less crowded. They have upgraded loungers.
They're a little more comfortable. And as you can see here, I love the seating options. It goes well beyond a traditional cruise lounge chair, if you will. Plus, there's a bar here. There's a hot tub. I think the suite sund deck is while not as impressive as say Wonder of the Seas, Utopia the Seas. Still a very nice space to go to and enjoy while you're on board. Especially, again, you're staying in a suite, take advantage of these special areas cuz they are just for you. We didn't really talk about the stateaterooms on board.
There's a lot of different cabins on board. Inside cabins, ocean view, balcony cabins, junior suites, full suites. The difference between all the cabins obviously is going to be the size, the views, how big they are, and most importantly, the price. I mean, we could go on and on and on about the differences between the cabins. The good news is they all have a core basic set of features, including your own private bathroom, reserved area just for you within the cabin itself, and of course, a sitting area, some outlets to enjoy. I mean, cruise cabins are probably smaller than you're expecting, especially compared to land hotels, but they're functional. And let's face it, when you're on a cruise, you're not spending that much time in the room. You're out and about enjoying all the fun out there, all the activities, all the fun things we've seen in the ship tour. So really, your cabin is your home away from home, but you'll spend less time in there than you might think. There you have it, friends. Our look at Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas. As an Oasis class ship, this is truly one of the most impressive and biggest cruise ships in the world. I absolutely love sailing on her. I'd love to know though in the comments below, what are your favorite areas of Harmony of the Seas?
What changes do you absolutely love about this ship? And where will you go first when you board Harmony of the Seas?
