Raul Jimenez Linked With Sensational Wolves Return, Saiss Molineux Guest & Mateus Mane To Stay?

[00:00:00]Yes, everybody. Welcome back to Talking Walls. Welcome back to a new video on the channel. Hope you guys are keeping well. A little bit of an update video for you. Following the last few days, of course, it was the final home game at Molyneu yesterday, the 1-1 draw with Fulham. If you didn't catch any of the content, I've done my reaction. We've had the fans react. We've already got the podcast out for that one as well with some big news that dropped yesterday evening, which I will discuss on this video, but we also discussed on the podcast uh yesterday as well. And let's jump into the big breaking news from yesterday, which was Ral Gimenez linked with a sensational return back to Wolverampton Wonders. Now, I actually mentioned this. I think it was my last update video um that there was some sort of whispers about this post fans forum um and it's obviously coming to fruition. Now, according to Liam Keane um and the guys over at the Express and Star, they have had early talks in place already for Ral Gimenez. I've just listened to a little bit of a a snippet from Liam's podcast today as well uh mentioning there's interest from the MLS, but I recall a pod um an interview that Ral did a couple of months ago ideally with him wanting to stay in and around Europe and all the signs at the moment seem to be indicating that, you know, Wolverampton Wonders is possibly a place he wants to be. His wife is posting lots of uh stories on her social media about, you know, them potentially staying, how she loves the city and so on. So I genuinely think that there's a chance there. Um Raal was interviewed postmatch as well. Um and of course his name was chanted and he's the cenor chant was was going on throughout the game at the start of the match when he started warming up. When he came on as well postmatch he says that he feels the fans love him.

[00:02:22]When he was there it was when he was at Wolves. Sorry it was really really good.

[00:02:26]Even though he's not playing for Wolves they still love me. Um, and then when he was asked about potentially rejoining Wolves, he said, "Why not? There's also always a possibility. Let's see. It would be nice. More so after today.

[00:02:38]Let's see. I don't know. Maybe. I don't know." So, I don't know. Depends how you sort of translate that. Is that somebody keeping their cards very close to their chest? Yes, I think so. Or is that somebody fobbing a reporter off and trying not to upset the fans? I don't know. But definitely there have been early talks with Ral and his representatives. Um but again comes down to money. There's going to be more suitors. Whether they're in England, I'm not so sure. But I think signing Ra emot for the emotion, you know, for the fans would be fantastic for one. I think it goes a long way for Nathan Shei and Fosen to start rebuilding the relationship with the fans as well. And look, Raal's not a long-term four, five season option. this is a a short-term hit and hopefully a player that has got the reputation and the quality to try and help us get out of the championship at the first time of asking and I think signing this caliber of player as well when you go into the championship quite early on if you can try and confirm it quite early on it's quite difficult because he is out of contract so in one way he may be waiting for other offers he's also going to the world cup as well but if you can bring someone like this in quite early doors other players will look at walls I H they actually they might mean business this summer. So definitely one that will be interesting.

[00:03:56]Another player that was present at Molyneu as well over the weekend was remain safe. A couple of pictures floating around of him on Saturday because he was at Compton at the training ground. Now I asked about this to somebody that I know of and at the moment it sounds like he was he was just visiting as a guest. I was a little bit disappointed that they didn't chat to him at halftime yesterday. I know the Wolves women did their lap of honor which was completely deserved by the way and that had a great reception. Uh, and I know Roma was sort of I think he was brought out uh onto the pitch or at least the the touchline pre-match. It would have been nice to for more people to see that as well. But yeah, he was around again. It's it's sparked up speculation about him potentially rejoining the club as well. He's 36 now.

[00:04:34]I think probably in terms of quality of league, definitely not played as uh, you know, in a league same sort of quality as Raul has. May still have it.

[00:04:43]leadership. You know, this one probably goes in a similar bracket to the Connor Cody shouts for me. If he's a player that wants to come back potentially is just like a squad player, I would probably seriously consider it. But anything more than that, if you're expecting players like Connor Cody or Roman say to come in and be your number one center half, I'd love to be proved wrong. I just don't think they've got that longevity and quality anymore. But who knows? We'll uh we'll wait and see on remain safe as well if he if he rejoins. But certainly, you know, we did a podcast with him if you remember and if you don't if you haven't caught that.

[00:05:17]Definitely worth checking that out as well. Um where he was really disappointed about how his time ended at the football club and that was mainly due to Jeff Shei and Bruno and his management at the time. So definitely you know somebody that was with us very very early Fosen days you know he joined us under Walter Zena remained safe. So he's he's seen it all really. That would be a really interesting one uh to see if anything progresses on that one as well.

[00:05:42]Matteas Mana as well, the goal scorer yesterday had a mixed afternoon I suppose scoring the goal and then given away the the penalty as well. Rob Edwards was asked about him postmatch as well by BBC Sport. Um and you know he's full of compliments for Matteas Mane.

[00:05:58]And then eventually he was asked where he feels Matteas Mane will be next season. He says he will be with us. The report said 100%. he says he'll be with us. So, Mattes Mane as it looks at the moment could be an asset def definitely a strong asset for Wolves to have around next season. Um being a little bit up and down in terms of his form and consistency, which I suppose is to be expected for a young kid that's breaking into men's first team football and not just men's first team football, you know, Premier League football as well.

[00:06:28]Uh so, yeah, I'm on board with this. I think Matteas will be a great player to to stick around for for next season if we can if we can keep him in and around the squad. I'm going to touch on one report and rumor that I actually haven't spoken about yet. Um he's coming to a week old to be fair, but it was it was reported right in the midst of all the fan forum things uh going on and it was about the uh FC Mitchelland winger Aral Simsia. um currently like I said playing in in Denmark with FC FC Mitchelland 12 goals and 20 assists as of last week in the uh in the Danish Super Liga that was reported by Santi Auna from the uh foot mcato who again is very very hit and miss with Wolves a couple of Turkish clubs also linked with him he's a Turkish player so I think they've probably got the the heads up straight away but for me in terms of those numbers as well this would be a top top level signing for WS I think there will be better football clubs next season or from the summer that are going to be looking at him, but certainly a player of the the caliber and the mold that Wolves should be looking at if they want to make a serious promotion push uh next season. And we'll finish off with a point uh that we posted about late on Friday, I believe, as well that Warsaw confirmed one of their young promising forwards, the 15-year-old Tyler Coulson has joined Wolves. Um he had played for Wolves under 18s earlier on this campaign but then there now is an agreement between the two teams for Coulson to join the club. Um a lot being spoke about in regards to Matt Jackson's comments uh about the academy and he a lot a lot of people are bringing this up uh making out that Matt Jackson Matt Jackson is contradicting himself. But I mean I've tried to push this on Twitter and I mentioned it on the podcast as well. don't think that's the point Matt Jackson was trying to make. Um, Wolves have agreed a fee with Warsaw, whereas I think the point Matt Jackson is trying to make is that agents and top clubs in England at the moment have so much power over these young players. The fact that one of our most promising goalkeepers could walk away for absolutely nothing because an agent is holding Wolves to ransom whereas this is a little bit different because it's a club on club agreement. Um, so yeah, that I mean that's my point of view on it. I don't know if I've sort of read into what Matt Jackson was saying incorrectly, but that's that's my take on it.
