Scorpio Moon T-Square to Mars & Pluto: Transformation Below the Surface // Astro Vibe for Thu May 28

[00:00:00]Today, the moon is in Scorpio. So, that is the water sign that takes us deep, takes us into the underworld, moving below the surface with uh things potentially moving and changing inside of us. I'm Marina Ormes here with your astro vibe for Thursday, May 28th. So, following that Libra energy that we've had with the Libra moon of the past few days, where we've focused on relationship and more of the surface of how we get along and how we need to be nice to one another and some of those Libra thing themes of bringing balance and uh bringing things into more of a right sense of alignment and harmony, the Scorpio moon now takes us into that deeper place of confronting what needs to change in order to really access that more true sense of balance.

[00:01:05]So, we have the Libra energy of balance followed by the Scorpio energy of depth.

[00:01:12]And as we uh move through the Scorpio energy, connecting with our own deeper truth and building a deeper sense of trust. So, if that's cultivating and building trust in yourself, what does that look like? What does it look like to listen to your deeper needs, your deeper truth, to uh be true to yourself, um or whether it is the energy of connection with another and taking that to a deeper level of trust. So, in in an intimate romantic relationship, that is uh building a deeper sense of intimacy and a deeper sense of vulnerability and honesty and being real and right and how that can take you into um a more fulfilling often relationship.

[00:02:09]But also it is um if it's not a uh romantic relationship, right? It could be any kind of relationship where you're working on that deeper foundation of trust and um can I speak up? Can I be my true self? Will I be safe? Will I be supported? And so moving through your own kind of dialogue or relationship with yourself to, you know, figure out where you need might need to be vulnerable, to take some risks, to step into what it will take to build that deeper trust, whether it's a work relationship or a friendship or, you know, any kind of uh place that you're building a deeper sense of trust and and ultimately what it's about is that ability to work together, to be powerful together and the energy of Scorpio being about power and how we do that when we come together and how we can be the most effective.

[00:03:10]So the moon going into Scorpio also forms an alignment, a T-square. It opposes uh Mars, forms a square with Pluto. Mars and Pluto have been in their square for the for the last week or so. Um it was exact Monday evening or Monday around 9:00 p.m.

[00:03:31]Pacific time. Um it bringing that intensity of Mars needing to take action, needing to take a risk for your own deeper truth. And then we had all that Libra moon energy. So how do you do that and still be nice to each other and still make sure that you're liked and that you have approval and all those kinds of things that you know, maybe we might want on a more superficial level, but at the same time needing to and feeling that pressure inside to take the actions, take the risks to further something that is true for you or true and honest with [clears throat] the world or someone in your life.

[00:04:21]So, the moon today activates that Mars Pluto square and the moon is in Scorpio.

[00:04:29]So, this is very deep. It is very it's sort of confrontational, but not doesn't have to be in a bad way, right?

[00:04:40]Think about the word confront, it means to bring something to the forefront, to deal with it, to look at something that maybe you have wanted to keep below the surface or avoid or sort of not deal with, right? It's that energy of confronting and bringing something into awareness that needs to be dealt with. So, that is like the foundation of how you build trust and how you're most powerful and effective. Where do you need to be true, be real, be honest because that is what will move things forward in a more powerful way.

[00:05:24]So, then we are of course heading into the Sagittarius full moon. So, the energy's building, we're getting closer to that full full moon and bringing some things to the surface that maybe need to be confronted or dealt with or processed or felt. Scorpio is also the energy of where well, it's where energy moves below the surface. So, if you're feeling things, but you don't necessarily have the words, that's something important to trust and to listen to your own needs, you know, because the ability to be vulnerable comes from our own ability to have appropriate boundaries and to create a safe container for ourselves. So, like I said, with support, you know, finding that the places of support that are going to help you to move forward and take those risks or whether it is creating the kind of container for yourself, like taking the time you need to really feel ready.

[00:06:31]Um, you know, some of us are more apt to feel ready than others. So, if you're the kind of person who will avoid it forever cuz you don't feel quite ready, uh, you might need to push yourself a little bit. And this energy actually might push you to say, "Okay, I need to to put my toes in this water even though, uh, it would be a little bit difficult to do so or a little uncomfortable."

[00:06:59]So, uh, so we have that energy today.

[00:07:02]Really, um, can be deep, can be intense, but ultimately can be helping us to open to and step into a more powerful way of being, a a more effective, right? What is power? Power is the ability to get what we want. And hopefully that is in alignment with something that is, um, in your own spiritual truth, right? So, so the the power and the ability to make something happen, to, uh, create things the way you want them to be, to, uh, to have the results you want. So, that effectiveness is is really what that power is. So, um if you, you know, that some people might be needing to to clobber someone else to show power, and that's not the highest expression of uh how we can be our most powerful selves, right? There's the power of wanting to hurt someone, but there's also the power of wanting to love and embody love. And so, maybe notice where that's the those dynamics show up in your life, and if this energy is about confronting that energy of where we feel that you know, unconscious or below the surface uh urge to um dominate or to uh have what we want because we make someone else smaller.

[00:08:37]Um and ask ourselves where that might show up in our sort of unconscious emotional patterns, and then also what that could look like if we re-envision that as the ability to have power from a place of feeling safe, a place of being loved, being a loving being, and uh power through that ability to embody love in the world. So, that is the ultimate potential of today's energy, but we won't get there unless we are willing to confront those deeper truths.
