So with this white liquor, it is a base. It is very alkaline, high pH level. And so unlike acids, which you can tend to wipe off, the doctor described the alkaline white liquor as kind of like soap. You know, when you wash yourself with soap, you might wash it off, but you still feel that viscosity on your skin that's left over from the soap. That's kind of what this white liquor was like. So he said, "For these folks, the folks who got large coverage area of impact and contamination, they had to be hosed down and showered for hours to make sure that all of that corrosive material got taken off of their skin because it is so corrosive and it eats away at any like organic material. It will just continue to eat away at you as long as it's making contact. So it'll eat through the skin, it'll eat through the muscle, it'll eat through tendons, it'll go down to bones." And so they said it was their number one priority was to decontaminate all of these patients. And some who had smaller contact areas like on legs and arms, those were decontaminated before they were transferred. The folks who had the larger contamination areas, they had to be decontaminated at Legacy and they said they were washing them off for hours cuz the water sometimes would just want over it, so you have to wash it off again and again and again.
