By prioritizing cranial structure over surface-level traits, this approach elevates character design from mere caricature to a disciplined study of human variation. It provides a sophisticated framework for achieving authentic diversity through a nuanced understanding of anatomical geometry.

Studying Different Ethnicities as an Artist追加:
When you're trying to draw Asian characters, one of the first things that comes to mind as an artist is of course giving them the right type of eyes. But if you want to go beyond that, there are actually a couple more differences that you can use to vary the type of faces that you draw. And maybe that difference becomes more obvious when we look at the default Caucasian skull, where of course you don't have the monolid type of eyes, but also there are some other differences in here. Like for example, very sharp and angular silhouette, and maybe even more important, a very protruding superciliary arch, which is this section of the skull right here. When you look at East Asian facial features, you will notice that the silhouettes are a little bit softer than generally that Caucasians, but also that superciliary arch is much more relaxed and it doesn't protrude as far forward. This for me is the most interesting part of drawing different ethnicities, not because every single time that I draw an Asian person, I have to stick to those rules making them a stereotype, but because every time that I learn how to draw type of face, it gives me a new tool to make my characters look more interesting.
