New multi-laminate target bow in the making 🏹

[00:00:00]We're going to start this new build with a lovely straight piece of maple. And for the laminated riser section, I've chosen lemon wood and a nice piece of U-Hartwood. Two separate pieces of American black walnut are going to be glued on for the NOx. And here's all the component pieces of wood that are going to make up the bow. The piece of lemon wood I chose is just a bit too thick, so I'm going to plane that down. I've also used the plane just to make it nice and square. So, we've got maple, lemon wood, and U. I spent a bit of time thinning down the U-Hartwood, so it's going to act more like a laminate cap. With the wood all cut out to the correct thickness, I've now scribed out the design of the handle. Then it's time to draw out each limb. And a bit of heat will correct this bend. This shot here clearly shows the design that I've settled on and the woods that I've chosen, minus those American black walnut tips that are going to be on the end.
