The US Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration on a dispute involving speech restrictions on federal immigration judges, with a 9-0 decision. The case centered on a 2017 policy requiring immigration judges to obtain approval before speaking publicly on immigration issues. The Court determined that the judges' First Amendment challenge should go through a federal administrative review process rather than the courts, effectively siding with the administration's position that government employees cannot publicly oppose their employer's policies.

Biden sues over audio release | NASA announces 3 Moon missions this year | 5/27/26Added:
Welcome to Victory News Tonight for Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. I'm Mike Gafalo.
>> And I'm Fior Ednandez. And here are a few of the headlines we're watching for you now. Congressman Brandon Gil joins us with details on a big Senate primary in Texas and why the House is supporting parental permission before a child attempts to change their gender identity.
>> And there's a new George Soros funding leftist organizations to erode America's foundation and a Marxist social media host exposed him. And we'll talk with wall builders President Tim Barton as well as decorated Marine pilot Ed Rush.
But first, let's go to tonight's top stories. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton trouts four-term incumbent John Cornin in Tuesday's lone star state's US Senate runoff. The Associated Press called the race for Paxton just after 900 p.m. with 62% of the vote to Cornin's 37%. President Trump praised Paxton's victory on social media, writing this. Congratulations to Ken Paxton on such a tremendous win and to John Cornin for having run a strong and powerful race, but more importantly having had a truly great career. The president then took aim at Paxton's November opponent James Tarico, comparing him to Alfred E. Newman, the cartoon character from Mad Magazine.
Here is part of a new ad just released by Ken Paxton today.
>> This is Texas. This is not. There are many more than two biological sexes. In fact, there are six.
>> This is Texas. This is not.
>> The American flag is such a complicated symbol for most of us.
>> This is Texas. This is not.
>> They're going to call me a radical leftist.
>> In another runoff, Texas Congressman Chip Roy lost his bid for Attorney General to state Senator Maize Middleton. Middleton will face off.
>> Be open to everybody. It's >> And who would control that?
>> It's international waters. Nobody's going to control it. We're going to watch over it. We'll watch over it, but nobody's going to control it. That's part of the negotiation that we have.
They would like to control it. Nobody's going to control it. It's international waters and Oman will behave just like everybody else. So, we'll have to blow them up. They understand that. They'll be fine.
>> Last comment, a little bit of a shock there. President add there will be no sanctions relief and no releasing of frozen funds until a deal is worked out with Iran. The meeting comes after US forces reportedly struck Iranian missile launch sites and targeted boats attempting to place mines in the straight of Hormuz over the Memorial Day weekend. A major auto recall is affecting over 400,000 vehicles.
According to Fox Business, the Hyundai Motor Company is recalling more than 421,000 vehicles after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration identified a software problem. The problem would impact the front camera and forward collision avoidance system, causing the brakes to be applied unexpectedly, raising the risk of rearend crashes. The recall affects certain 2025, 2026 Hyundai models, including Santa Cruz, Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, and Tucson Plug-in Hybrid.
Hyundai received 376 reports related to the system between October of 2024 and April of this year. The recall comes shortly after Hyundai also recalled more than 54,000 Hyundai Elantre hybrid vehicles over a hybrid system overheating issue that could potentially cause fires. Fure, >> thank you, Mike. Iran's Supreme Leader Moshtaba Hav is still in hiding a designated US target and reportedly must approve any final nuclear deal with America through secret courier networks.
As a result, Washington is negotiating a high stakes accord with an invisible counterparty who has never shown his face since the conflict began in late February. Secretary of State Marco Rubio admitted the delays, saying it simply takes the Iranians longer to get back because of their courier system. A Marine veteran and Virginia prosecutor is drawing a hard line against what he calls an unconstitutional gun grab by Democratic Governor Abigail Spamberger.
Ryan Mffy, Commonwealth's attorney for Spatzelia Kanti County, excuse me, is refusing to enforce Spanberger's new assault weapons ban, which outlaws future sales of many semi-automatic rifles, pistols, shotguns, and magazines over 15 rounds. The law takes effect in July. Mahi is not alone. Smith County prosecutor Philip Levens, an Air Force veteran, is also refusing to enforce it, saying his oath is to the Constitution, not politics. The same with two other county prosecutors in Virginia. Lawyers for former President Joe Biden filed a lawsuit Tuesday to block the release of audio recordings and transcripts from special counsel Robert Hur's classified documents probe. President Trump posted on Truth Social referring to Biden as quote a crooked politician. While sharing the report about the lawsuit, Biden's legal team is suing the Justice Department to stop the handover of his interviews with ghostriter Mark Zoninser. His lawyers claim releasing them would be an unwarranted invasion of privacy. Herd's report raised serious questions about Biden's mental fitness, but recommended no charges. Mike, >> your White House deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser Steven Miller offered some strong words on Tuesday at the beginning of Vice President JD Vance's anti-fraud roundt with attorneys general from more than a dozen states.
>> And the amount that has been fleeced from us is in the hundreds of billions of dollars. I believe based on what I've seen and what I've heard is that we could balance the federal budget if the only dollars that went out of the treasury went to individuals who were properly lawfully correctly eligible to receive them.
>> Miller called advances efforts to crack down on fraud the most robust aggressive effort to shut down criminal fraud that ever occurred in any developed nation.
And joining us now is Brandon Gil who represents the 26th Congressional District. uh in terms of the excitement and enthusiasm, but last night was about as close as you can get. I mean, the people were fired up for Ken Paxton's victory. The people of Texas are looking for somebody who's going to go to Washington and who's going to fight for them, who's going to fight for their conservative values, who's going to work to keep the border secure, get legislation like the Save America Act across the finish line, who's going to fight against the left's woke nonsense and insanity that they've been shoving down our throats for so long. Who's going to fight against the Islamization of Texas? And that's exactly what they got uh with Ken Paxton. So, people are are thrilled. Um, and we're ready to take this to the general to beat an absolute weirdo, James Taller Rico, that the Democrats are running on their ticket.
>> And Senator Ted Cruz, also of Texas, of course, advanced a bipartisan child abuse survivor protection bill. Now, it's headed your way where you co-sponsor complimenting legislation.
Why is a national child abuse survivor law crucial?
>> Yes. So, this this is a bill that would uh make null and void non-disclosure agreements that were made uh with child victims of sexual assault so that they can speak openly about what happened to them. I don't think that and I don't think and I believe that most people would agree with me on this. I don't think that it's appropriate to silence victims of sexual assault, especially children, um who often times need to be able to talk openly about that. That that's part of the the healing process.
So that's what we're doing. I I think that this bill has a very good chance of getting passed out of the House and getting signed into law.
>> Now, House just passed HR 2616 stating schools must get parental permission before changing a minor child's gender identity, pronouns, or name. Democrats are furious. Do you think this can pass in the Senate?
>> You know, I I I I certainly hope that it can. you know, with the 60 vote threshold, which is another issue, I think they should be utilizing a talking filibuster. You know, I hope that enough Democrats will get on board for something like this. I mean, the question really is is, do you believe that strangers, teachers of your children in public schools should be changing the gender of your child without you knowing about it? And I don't think any normal, rational person would say yes to that. That's a quite a a dark, demonic, and perverted thing to do. Um, but that's what a large portion of the Democrat party believes right now. So, I hope that there's enough of them who can come across the aisle and see the light and vote to get that out of the Senate.
>> Yeah, let us hope. Now, there are many birth tourism companies in the US and they charge foreigners to fly to America and secure citizenship for their child.
Tell us how your task force is pursuing these companies.
>> Yep. So, I'm I'm chairing a task force of the House Oversight Committee and we've got the ability uh to launch investigations. So, just a couple weeks ago, we launched an investigation into four different birth tourism companies.
So, we requested documents and information and communications from them. One of them, by the way, was called Have My Baby in Miami. That was the name of the business that we requested information from. And these are businesses that are engaged in immigration fraud, who are helping facilitate people coming into the United States for the sole purpose of giving birth so that their children can be US citizens. Often times they're they're coming from countries like China, our number one geopolitical adversary. That doesn't make any sense. It's it's a it's illegal, but it's also just an abuse of our constitutional system. And what our task force is doing is get collecting information. We're going to have hearings on this um so that we can make very public what's happening. And I I think that we're going to be able to build a case um that the DOJ can can take up to shut these businesses down.
But ultimately, we need a legislative fix as well to tighten up our our our laws on things like this.
>> You can learn more about Congressman Gil by visiting gil.house.gov or follow him on x atrepengill.
Representative, thank you so much for your time today.
>> Thanks for having me.
>> You bet.
The Supreme Court decided Tuesday it will not let Florida file a complaint against two Democrat-led states for allowing illegal immigrants to obtain commercial driver's licenses and drive on American roads. Florida had attempted to sue California and Washington after a fatal 2025 crash on the Florida Turnpike involving a truck driven by an illegal Indian immigrant who was issued a CDL by both states. The Sunshine States lawsuit claimed both states showed open defiance of federal laws by greenlighting CDLs for migrants without legal status, leaving them untrained and unable to read US road signs in English. In his descent, Justice Thomas pointed out the driver failed his test at least 10 times in Washington and at least once in California, adding the high court's decision not to hear the case leaves Florida completely locked out of the justice they were seeking. But the US Supreme Court is siding with President Donald Trump in a dispute involving speech restrictions on federal immigration judges. The justices ruled Tuesday that the judges's challenge should go through a federal administrative review process instead of the courts. According to the Associated Press, the case centers on a first Trump administration policy implemented in 2017, requiring immigration judges to get approval before speaking publicly on immigration issues. A judge's union argued the policy violated First Amendment free speech protections. The Supreme Court sent the case back to a lower court's appeal for further review.
Let's welcome in wallbuilders.com president of Victory News contributor Tim Barton. Tim, any surprises to you on the US Supreme Court siding with the Trump administration on the free speech challenge by federal immigration judges.
>> I think the real surprise was that it was a 90-0 decision. Now, this really just overturned the Fourth Circuit decision uh sending it back down saying, "Guys, y'all didn't review this correctly. you know, I'm going to give you a second try. You didn't do a good job. And this isn't as crazy as as some people on the left made it appear to be when you had this really originated during Trump's first term when President Trump was acknowledging these judges are going and giving public speeches.
They're doing these press conferences criticizing the immigration policies we are doing. They work for the DOJ. They work for the federal government. They can't do things that contradict the very things they're supposed to uphold constitutionally. So, President Trump's challenge was very valid considering who their employer was, so to speak, and the reality. They argued, well, no, we have First Amendment right. Therefore, we can openly oppose and encourage people to oppose you. So, so this actually goes back to review the process. But certainly, I'm not surprised that President Trump won this considering you can tell your employees uh kind of directives and some of what they do. And as long as it's not unconstitutional, it's not a surprise the direction it went.
>> Right. Sounds like common sense. So Marxist streamer Hassan [ __ ] names a China resident Neville Roy Singh as a funer of activism inside the US. Listen, >> Roy Singum is a American citizen. He lives in China now. He's been a funding vehicle for a lot of like uh uh political uh a lot of uh political movements in the country like a lot of activism.
Tim, do you think Roy Singhham is the new George Soros? And are the nonprofit organizations he funds abusing their tax exempt status?
>> Yeah, I think it's very likely he could become another George Soros. I I actually think there's a lot of individuals like that who are out there who are funding a lot of this nonsense.
It's one of the interesting conversations that you look at what Spencer Pratt, the guy running for the mayor of Los Angeles, has pointed out with with the crisis they've had with the homeless in Los Angeles. He said, "Man, it's it's all these corrupt NOS's that are literally busting in that are creating a problem to give them a reason to exist." And a lot of the funding for a lot of these organizations has come from people like this, that their motivation is not the betterment of America. It's actually the destruction of America in many ways because that's part of what Marxists and communists believe. They think there needs to be a level of chaos and disorder and then you can have big brother step in and solve all your problems. And it's a way to get people more dependent on the government.
So, not surprising what we're seeing, but actually very grateful that a lot's being exposed.
>> Me, too. So, State Senator Maize Middleton defeated US Representative Chip Roy in the Republican primary runoff for Texas Attorney General. Were you surprised at those results?
>> I really wasn't. Uh, Maize Middleton is somebody that we've known for a long time. He's shown himself to be a very solid conservative here in Texas. and actually he's the one that that ran a bill this last year to try to get the Bible and prayer back in schools, making it an option for kids to participate in that. He supported the Ten Commandment Bill in Texas. So, his track record is very strong with conservative principal values. And Chip Roy, even though he has been a great congressman, there was a couple of things he did more recently where he positioned himself against President Trump and and honestly kind of on the side of of Senator John Cornin.
And and so when you have someone that's against Trump that feels a little establishment in ways and again this is not speaking broadly of Trip Roy. I think he's done a great job overall but there was a couple of issues where you just felt like man you might have been in DC a little bit too long and I think that's why he struggled to some extent but also Maize Middleton was an incredible candidate and I think we'll do a very good job.
>> Well Tim you're certainly entitled to your opinion. Learn more about Tim's work by visiting wellbuilders.com and follow him, excuse me, him on X at Tim David Barton.
Great to see you again, Tim.
>> Thanks. You are going to be with you.
>> All right. The Trump administration is considering asking new and current federal employees to sign a non-disclosure agreement in an effort to cut down on press leaks. On Tuesday, the Office of Personal Management posted a notice in the Federal Register asking for comment on a draft NDA that federal agencies would use. If implemented, the form would make it clear to federal workers they could lose their job if they disclose information to the media without permission from their employer.
Former US Attorney General Pam Bondi was reportedly diagnosed with and treated for thyroid cancer since leaving the Justice Department. Axos reported Thursday or Tuesday that is the 60-year-old underwent treatment and is now recovering according to the Cleveland Clinic most thyroid cancers are permanently curable with treatment.
Cancer news broke about the same day as the Trump President Trump tapped Bonnie for another administration position.
Bonnie will serve on the presidential council of adviserss on science and technology an AI focused advisory committee. Bonnie will reportedly help facilitate coordination between the federal government and technology executives. Fior.
>> Thank you, Tim. NASA administrator Jared Isaacman announced Monday that three moon missions will take place later this year as construction of the planned moon base draws closer.
>> First three missions that will go to the moon, uncrrewed robotic ones later this summer. But we also announced two rovers on the lunar surface that have autonomous and crude capability. But this is just the beginning. We're talking about a$20 billion investment.
Isaacman noted the lunar landings will be on a near monthly cadence. On Tuesday, NASA launched a new website to keep the public informed of its progress during the moon base project. To log on, just go to nasa.gov moon base. NASA hopes to have workers living on the moon by early 2029.
Chicago's mayor Brandon Johnson is facing fierce backlash after failing to crack down on teen takeovers. Here's the mayor's response. We cannot incarcerate our way out of violence. We've already tried that and we've ended up with the largest prison population in the world without solving the problems of crime and violence.
>> Critics say that's no excuse. When laws are broken, there must be consequences.
In contrast, Washington DC is taking a tougher stand prosecuting both the teens and their parents. Ahead. While all eyes are on the Iran war, the US military is still guarding our homeland, taking out another drug boat in southern waters.
>> Decorated Marine veteran Ed Rash will discuss the effect of these strikes on the cartels. Coming up.

Introducing Unclassified, where the headlines are dissected, the noise is stripped away, and the truth is revealed through a biblical lens. Don't miss an episode airing Monday through Friday at 6:30 Eastern, 5:30 Central, only on the Victory Channel, because truth deserves to be revealed.
Today marks the beginning of the 2026 midterm primary election season.
Casting ballots in this coming general election. November is crucial to see which party controls the House and the Senate.
We don't vote out of fear or anger and certainly not based upon someone's looks or personality. You and I vote from conviction. We're stewards of our homes and our churches. And we're stewards of our citizenship.
US military delivered another decisive blow against narot terrorists Tuesday, launching a lethal strike on a suspected drug trafficking vessel in the eastern Pacific. At the direction of Southcom, joint task force Southern Spear conducted the kinetic strike on a vessel officials say was actively running drugs along known trafficking routes. One alleged narot terrorist was killed. Two others survived and were immediately targeted for Coast Guard search and rescue. Right now, let's welcome back decorated Marine fighter pilot, best-selling author and business consultant Ed Rush. Ed, how important do you think these drug boat strikes are to keeping cartels on their heels and drugs out of our nation more importantly?
>> Yeah, it puts big smile on my face actually. Tim, I I uh I lost two family members, by the way, uh to drugs here in the United States. It wasn't completely the cartel's fault, but I hold them part partly responsible. Uh, and I I just have to say for all the critics out there who think, "Oh my gosh, we're just like, you know, targeting random boats out there." Uh, our systems in the military, our sensors are so excellent.
I can tell you, they know what these guys had for breakfast that morning.
That's how good our intelligence is. So, these are drug boats and we're hitting them and it's putting fear into the hearts of the cartels, which is exactly where fear should be in the heart of uh so that they'll slow down or at least stop the drug trade into our country.
>> Yeah. Cut it off at the root. That's that's the key. Now, Senator Mark Wayne Mullen announced the DHS is working on a new policy for sanctuary cities. Take a listen.
>> We're currently drawing up plans to say, "Listen, in these sanctuary cities, where the uh local uh radical left Democrats aren't allowing us to to do our job and enforce federal laws, then we shouldn't be processing international flights into their into their cities either." Now, since sanctuary cities won't allow to allow force immigration, Mullen believes they should not need to process immigration at their airports.
What do you think of that, Ed?
>> Secretary Mullen, you know, he was a UFC fighter, so he he hasn't lost his uh fighting uh ability. In fact, you know, that's got him in trouble a couple times, but I'll just say like I like the idea of fighting back a little bit. it makes sense to to, you know, make the rational equation here when it comes to airports because it just doesn't make sense what's happening with the sanctuary city situation. So, I just think it's fun that he's fighting back a little bit.
>> All right, let's go to your home state.
Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt is ripping Mayor Karen Bass over the Sixth Street Bridge where every light has been stolen. Listen up.
>> Mayor Basura is planning to take 200 more million dollars of our tax money to get solar power lights. Oh, because the criminals won't steal those. But don't worry, Nathia Ramen has suggested putting cages around the lights. That's right, cages.
>> He seems to be running a really brilliant campaign. Is his candidacy gaining traction there?
>> Yeah, great campaign. By the way, I live in California here in San Diego. I'm not voting in that particular election because I'm not in LA, but I would love to be voting for him. If you're in California and you're going to run against a Democrat, you have to do a remarkable campaign. I watched the referendum vote here several years ago where literally every Republican was spouting sort of a list of talking points that sounded very Republican. You have to do what he's doing. Lean a little bit towards the center. Talk about common issues that people are talking about and make a big deal. He was on Rogan. He's moved up actually on Poly Market nearing 50%. That doesn't mean he's going to get voted in. There's a huge machine in Los Angeles. But you pray for guys like this because we do need to destabilize the ship here in California.
>> Absolutely. to stay in California or Carl Deayo is not pleased that Democrats have introduced bill AB2669 to give illegals lighter sentences than American citizens for the same crimes.
Listen to this. when a prosecutor is deciding whether or how much to charge an illegal immigrant that they are now going to be required to take into account the possible impacts it might have on the illegal immigrant if they're charged with the crime as it relates to their ability to stay in this country.
>> And I'm wondering what ever happened to the old saying from the show Beretta, don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
>> Yeah, by the way, Carl Deayo has been a Republican in California here in San Diego actually for quite some time and lives out of Rancho Bernonardo. uh and you know he's just constantly fighting our state. We have a supermajority in the state legislature uh Democratic supermajority. That's like the first thing we need to overcome as Republicans because it's just we just keep getting outvoted on some really crazy bills and this is one more example.
>> Great stuff, Ed. Find out more about Ed Rush and his mission by visiting godtalks.com or visit him on x at edrushpilot. Always great to see you, Ed.
>> Thanks, Tim. See you.
>> All right, Fior.
>> Thank you, Tim. The Federal Trade Commission is warning graduates and their families to watch out for scams tied to graduation season. The FTC says the scammers are sending fake graduation party invitations, job offers, and fishing emails designed to steal personal information and money.
Officials say the scams often arrive through text message, social media, or email, and may ask victims to click suspicious links or enter passwords. The warning comes as millions of students across the country graduate this month and begin searching for jobs or celebrating with family. As we approach Atlantic hurricane season, a victory news and meteorologist Captain Tom Amos shared some analysis on what we can expect given the El Nino effect on the oceans. The captain is calling for a 55% chance of a below normal season with just a 10% chance of it being above normal. Here is a look at two somewhat recent hurricane seasons with strong El Nino conditions. Let's start with 1997.
And now let's jump ahead to 2015. As for the names of storms we'll get this year, Arthur, Berthar, Bertha, and Christoval or Crystalall will be three of them.
Hurricane season begins on June 1st and lasts until the end of November. Time to find out what's coming up on Unclassified. Greg, >> hey, thanks guys. Don't you love those victory news guys? I do. And also, Dr. Randy Caldwell. We're going to talk about the church. We're going to talk about Israel. We're going to talk about a lot of things with him. Unclassified is one you can't miss immediately following Victory News Tonight. Back to some of my favorite people. back to you.
>> And we love you too, Greg. You're one of our favorites as well. You don't want to miss me unclassified ever. Uh Brandon Gil, I mean, great representative in the state of Texas. And it's so good to see like Spencer Pratt, other other these candidates that that love God and they know that that's part of their identity and they take that with them into office. That's what we need more people like that, folks. That's what I'm saying. If you need prayer, 817-566777 is the number you call. If you need prayer for anything, our prayer ministers are trained and ready to pray for you right now. Let's pray together.
Father, we do thank you for men and women of of faith that have stepped up, Lord, to run for office and those that have already won offices or are running for office. We thank you, Lord, that you help them continue that, Lord. And never forget who they are or how they got there, Father. And we thank you for it in Jesus name. Amen.
>> All right. Thank you for that, Tim.
>> Our thanks to Representative Brandon Gil, Tim Barton, and Ed Rush, especially you. Let's return. We return that is tomorrow 600 p p.m. Eastern 5 central with constitutional attorney Chris Anne Hall and senior fellow from advancing American freedom Joel Farmer. Please join us then >> because the world reports the problem but the victory channel brings you the answer. Whatever is born of God overcomes the world and this is the victory that overcomes the world our faith.
>> Make sure you stay in faith. Everyone have a blessed evening. We will see you tomorrow of course and of course unclassified will start right after the break. We'll see you tomorrow.
