Online posts and social media content can serve as critical evidence in criminal cases, particularly for establishing premeditation and intent, as demonstrated when Chud the Builder's threatening online statements were used to prove his attempted murder charge.

Chud the Builder Arrested After Shooting Case Sparks Massive Social Media BacklashAdded:
It looks like Chud did exactly what he said he was going to do. Chud here made the news. Let's watch. A Clarksville online video streamer is now facing an attempted murder charge. It's the result of a fight outside the Montgomery County Courthouse that ended in gunfire. Good evening and welcome to News 2 at 6. I'm Bob Mueller.
>> And I'm Hili Wilgus. Authorities say Dalton Eatherly, also known as Chud the Builder, and another man were both shot during this exchange. News 2's Caitlyn Quisenberry has more on the investigation.
Chud is going to jail.
And it's because this was premeditated.
Because in Chud's own words, just a week ago, "I will defend my life with lethal force. Do not approach me with the intent threaten [music] bodily harm."
And then he replies, "Series finale is an unalived chump on the pavement and you chumps riding when I walk free. Stay tuned. You dummies aren't that smart, huh?"
You literally [music] posted online premeditated thoughts of what just happened. Now knowing that, let's get back to the news. Dalton Eatherly, known online as Chud the Builder, is accused of shooting a man outside the Montgomery County Courthouse. The Sheriff's Office says both Eatherly and another man were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. After the shooting, Eatherly appeared to keep live streaming for several minutes. In the video, Eatherly can be heard saying, quote, "Man, I just pray that dude is going to be all right.
I tried to walk away from him." The court is going to see right through that last statement.
Because of your previous posts.
This is what we're going to see out of you. Just like we saw out of Kyle Rittenhouse.
But in your case, you're going to go away.
I've never seen somebody this dumb.
You literally been filming your crimes for years. You seriously don't understand what's about to happen.
You really really think that you're going to get away with this. The prosecution has so much evidence against you. We also got to talk about the elephant in the room.
It turns out there was only one firearm, and that was yours concealed.
But yet you both got hit.
That would mean you did it to yourself.
So as someone that is proficient in firearms, I would say I think you should not own a firearm because you don't know how to use it. I will say this though.
Every single court date that this man is at, I want to see him live television.
I want to see him crying on live TV.
I mean, he loves the exposure. Let's give it to him. Guys, tell me what you think about this in the comments. And if you haven't followed me yet, please do.
Have a day.
