55 Cancri e is a super-Earth located 40 light years away, eight times Earth's mass, with approximately one-third of its mass (equivalent to three Earths) composed entirely of diamond due to its carbon-rich composition, massive internal pressure, and extremely hot surface consisting of a lava ocean that continuously produces diamonds.

a PLANET of DIAMONDS | 55 Cancri E #space #interesting #spacefacts #astronomy #science #sciencefacts追加:
This planet is made out of diamonds.
It's called 55 Cancri e, and it is located 40 light years away, and it is eight times as massive as Earth, being roughly equivalent to the amount of shame I felt after [ __ ] a goat. Now, about a third of its mass, which is equivalent to three Earths, mind you, is made entirely out of diamond. Why?
Because of its carbon-rich composition, massive internal pressure, and apparently the fact that its entire surface essentially consists of a massive ocean of lava. An ocean of lava that is perpetually spitting out little diamonds. But anyway, if you took just 1% of the diamonds from this planet back to Earth, those diamonds would instantly become worthless. Why? Because it would be so many [ __ ] diamonds that the price of diamonds on Earth would immediately drop due to inflation.
Speaking of inflation, you should go to infodrizzle.com for all your news updates. Or you can watch a video of me using a bicycle pump to inflate my balls until they explode.
