Would you live in this HISTORIC home in front of a beautiful plaza?Added:
Hi everyone, this is Nesto doing another walking tour to this amazing property that we have here in Wanovato City in the middle of Plaza and Bahadoras. As you can see right now, we have a a park that is literally right in front of the house which is so unique. And this is a list building. So you know that this building is really historical. is one of the first buildings to um a house. Let's say let's say a house, not a building. Um there was built here in front of this park.
Normally you see this um buildings in La Presa where is the the rich area where everything was growing in in the in in the old days.
Rich people was building there. But this owner decided to build in front of this amazing park. So now we have the opportunity to have this house as your next house. So just for you know this is a list of building. So renovations a little restrict in the outside. Um you know the government always is looking forward to have a a building that is safe for um historical purpose. This house was built for a really famous architect that you will see all the story about this house in in a link that I will post for you know what a piece of jewel will you will get if you buy this house. Okay, let's check this house.
So, first as you can see it's in front of this amazing park. Right now we have this flea market where you can buy all these secondhand clothes. There's food here. On Sundays is an amazing day to get your groceries. You literally have the Mercado and Bahoras where you can buy all your butcher, flour, seafood, um veggies, everything. It's literally this house.
And this is the house. So you have two entrance as you can see. Right now we see the um the garage entrance, but we have the principal one which is more unique. You will see everything is well preserved. It's antique. It's actually really antique. So everything that you see of this house, the details are super super antique.
You have two basements. One entrance right here in the garage. They have another basement. Let's check it out.
So, as you can see, this is the the garage entrance. Also really pretty, really Victorian, but also combined with a Mexican style, of course. So, let's check the garage.
You have this amazing garden in front.
This was a old fountain. Right now it's not working, but it's it can work. You have all the holes where you can put the new pump. And then you have the the garage.
You can fit a car here without any problems. And you can still have this parking outside. So you can have at least two or three cars parking right here. So this is more for, you know, you save your stuff.
That's a garage.
And then you have this basement. It's a little small. The entrance is I think it's more for saving stuff. But I mean knowing that this house it's really antique. You know that all these spaces before was using for actually rooms for like storage food. So everything is real historical. This is for someone who want to own a museum because every detail of this house is historical. Some of the pieces in this house is really hard to find if you want to replace. So that's what's make it a little more difficult to renovate it if you want to renovate and save the original pieces. But the good thing is like the majority of things are well preserved. So you don't need to worry about changing so many details. Actually want to have so many people that they can fix it or they know how to do all this stuff because we have this this type of buildings. So I think that if you're interesting of owning a museum and again it could be a house but also we are visualizing this house as a hell center that you can do yoga that you can do tai chi like different classes for spiritual things. You know how the world needs more spiritual approach. So let's get in to this amazing entrance. Look at this.
This is literally a millionaire house in the let's say early 19th late 18th century. So you have one entrance right here. So this house was owned by a bank before. So you will see some of these things are have another door for example this one. This one is one door that is protected with the glass but inside the glass is the other door which is the one that is antique.
So you don't need to use both, but you can open the the the one inside and have a really nice open view without exposing the area inside.
And then you have this glass door that is amazing. Look at this house door is gorgeous.
The glass means a French decoration.
They have a name. The owner just told me, but I forgot. But look at this. This is texturized glass. And to be honest, this is the first time that I see this style of glass in this decoration. I mean, it's stunning. The color is just amazing. And having this glass door is beautiful. So, this was owned by a bank.
A bank was running this house for over 20 years. So you will see that they actually preserve a lot of things for have this antique house but also put a little modern stuff. You will have the same exactly glass door in here and you have the well preserved all door inside.
So okay let's see the inside again.
Hello and look at this.
My god, this space. It was an open space. As you know, in the Mexican oldendas, we have this open space where we just pack it with plants in here and of course a fountain.
Right now, we have this poso that we call it the water reservoir that it was used in the really old days. Not anymore. Now it's like a piece of museum because this was purchased early 1800s and it came from Spain when a lot of Spain people was coming here to decorate their house and you can see how the donkeyote and Sanchoza are here decorated. This is again a piece of historical art literally.
So just for you know when I say that you are owning a museum I'm not joking cuz every part of this house let's say this stone you don't find this anymore like this is unique from this house this tile glass like this little pieces like you you you will not find it anymore. So that's why it's uh it's only in a museum because everything is so unique like these pieces are unique because they don't build it anymore. So that's why you buying a property that also have so much story history in art and decoration and this architect architecture in these buildings I mean are gorgeous.
So as you can see you have different entrance right here which is the different rooms that you have. Let's start with the first one. So remember this was a bank before. So they divide this with a glass but it's actually it's easy to take out. You just screw it out and just take out for you can have an open area. You have air conditioner that we need to we need to check how good is because right now we don't know if it's work perfectly or there's some maintenance that we needed to. But yeah, this space that's why we was saying it looks perfect for like yoga classes, Tai Chi, dancer classes, salsa classes, like all kind of classes. I mean, it's the perfect space to do it. And because you're in front of one of the most popular parks here in Wanauato, which is Emba and having an entrance, a parking spot and also a parking in front of your house and of course a street access is unique in Wanauat because everything is between alleys and this one is actually in the level of a street. There's no hills, there's no going down, going up. It's all in the level of downtown.
So, okay, let's continue. It's for you can see the details of every part of this house is gorgeous. And I know that look, you cannot see well for me was amazing to see. This is a French door, but normally you don't have this space where they can just adapt perfectly.
Look, you don't even see there's there.
But then you open this and it's like ta it's a French door. I have more privacy.
And then if you want to save it just like this like nothing happened. Isn't it amazing?
And then you have this also little antique wood decorations that normally you don't see anymore. And again, this type of stone that is green, but with these touches of kind of like a marble, I don't know, like waves in this stone. It's unique. You don't see this anymore.
You only see in historical buildings.
This is the other part of the house. You can see how big is this room.
And the third room. [sighs] Great light.
It's really open and bright. And then you have this amazing closet. Um, sadly it's not on the list. I mean, you if you really want this closet, there is also a a super antique closet.
The owner sell it for 20,000 pesos if you're interesting to own a super old and antique closet.
Um, it needs a little some renovations, but again, in one quarter, we can we can do this um fixings for you.
Um, this is for you if you want to have a piece of art, a piece of museum in your house.
So, okay, let's continue. Let's go out to see this amazing amazing puzzle where you can storage water. We will open it, but just for you know, this is only for save some rain water, but it's not something that you use anymore. So, this was a bank before and they did an amazing job taking care of their property, but they also did some um renovations that the owner, the last owner didn't like because they renovated too much and kind of like the antique stuff of some part of the houses are gone. This is the other room where you have also a little balcony right here. There goes to the park. Amazing air coming from that door. This is exactly the same model that we see in the other part with the French doors.
And this is the part that they renovate a little too much, which is the bathrooms.
You have two bedrooms right here. Well, one and a half because this one is just one bath, one bathroom. And this one is the the bathroom with also a shower.
This is a part of the house that they have other stuff, but they took it out for do these bathrooms.
This look a little more modern than it was before, but at least you don't need to worry about renovations in this part of the house. And then let's go out again for you can see where we get in and where we get out. So that's the access for the bedrooms. And this is the access for the kitchen.
So this is the space of the kitchen.
Also really nice space. And it's connect to the market. So you can literally just scream to hey lupita give me kill tomatoes. And I just handedle to you.
[laughter] You have the entrance right here. I mean, this is a great space also if you want to do a center. For yoga classes, a little spa or a restaurant. Well, a restaurant will be more complicated because you need to do the whole kitchen, but I mean, for small businesses, you can just have a little kitchen space here for coffee or coffee breaks to have some maybe a sink and some tables where you can do it here.
You don't need to go that crazy with a center if you planning to do it. But let's see again this amaz ceilings.
This is also new. All of this is new because the the bank set it up. It was an open space before and now it's more safe for the rains, you know. Look at this door.
I mean, I just love this door, especially this color.
Okay, let's check the last part of the house. Well, no, we have another part to check, but let's check this one before the last one.
This was an office before when it was a bank but also in the old old days was another room.
This all wood store wood floor.
You have this glass art.
And this is the other room.
And you have this beautiful, beautiful balcony.
Look at that color in the glass.
Then you go out, you have this amazing balcony right here and you see the Bahador Park and also the marcado. Those carnitas are the best carnitas in Guanauato.
And you can get your secondhand clothes here.
Another view of the outside of the property.
So now you understanding why this is a historical building. It's a listed building that the ENA the Institute of National Anthropology will take care of this or will look forward for you to take care of this.
But it's really easy because one of have a lot of buildings like that. So you just need to keep up with the updates that they have and you will be good.
Look at this color.
Again, you only see this in historical buildings. And let's check the last part of the house, which is a basement that you can use for storage.
It's another piece of the garden.
Not that this one is a little different because the entrance is more tall and then the back refors this the roof with this.
They use it this as the electric generator room. So they have a lot of u electronical stuff here, but you can also have it as a storage room.
So what do you think? Isn't that amazing to have on a house that is actually a museum? And again, if you you don't need to leave here, you can actually take profit from this and make a great business from this house because the location is amazing. The house is amazing. Every detail of the house is literally a piece of art. It's so unique.
So I think it's a really amazing house is having this house in Wanauato. This opportunity is unique because there's no other houses like this in Wanau.
Let's check it again one last time.
Can't can't get over this. This glass is just gorgeous.
Look at this.
So the last part is this house is actually divided. So you will see this windows and doors that they actually don't open because after this wall there's another property that is the owner property. She's selling the the property in half. So this is the front part of the house and she live in the back part of the house.
So you'll have all this space which is the most beautiful part because this is the front part front part and it's also here.
Okay, this is another part that I forgot to show you that [clears throat] they have a spiral stairs. go to the basement exactly where the the sultano is and goes all the way to the rooftop.
There's no access right now, but just for you know also these stairs are so antique.
Look at this. It's gorgeous.
