>> [laughter] >> But he's at the top, I think, with four wins. I'm on two wins and two draws. I draw a lot with this team. I do not like this frenzy guy. But funny enough, he's got a frenzy guy as well. We've both We've both got a frenzy. I've gone with two dodge and he's gone with three wrestle. I think the three wrestle might might be better in this match-up, but I think dodge is quite good for just being an elf, isn't it? I do like running around being an elf normally. I won the toss, chose to receive to try and beat him up seeing as, you know, beating people up is very good. You should almost always receive. If you're in any doubt whether to kick or receive, you should receive. That's That's it, simple. So yeah, we've we've both got nearly the same team.
And you know, we've got dodge on the We've got the leader. We've got the dodge players and we've both got a frenzy lion, which I absolutely hate the the frenzy lion. I absolutely hate him.
Block rolling both downs here was quite good, wasn't it?
And obviously we're going to use the the lion warrior to blitz a wrestler.
Funny enough, what I should have done here is I didn't know Mudara's line strat.

I did get quite far forward.
So, run back there so that he can't, you know, even base me with this guy.
I'll chain that guy.
The frenzy does do something, right? It does make It does deny squares to It kind of narrows the pitch by one, doesn't it?
And I would have done things if he didn't have frenzy that I didn't do because he had frenzy.
So, it did do something.
And I guess mine did something as well.
So, in retrospect, again, if I'd known how hard it was going to be to get past Madara, I probably should have just uh you know, gone up here, made a cage, and uh blitzed this guy and got something down here.
I you know, move my team in this kind of area.
But, uh I was not aware of the line strat. Even though he's in it already, even though he's already in it, I wasn't aware of how busted it is.
So, I I just go backwards cuz I think, "Why not? I'll try and claw this guy."
It's really good player to remove, isn't it? If I get to remove him with the claw. Did not get to remove him with the claw.
Diced.
And then here I was going to I was going to stand there to trap him, right?
And then I thought, "If I do, he could blitz me twice and surf me."
That's literally what I thought.
I'm not even joking.
>> [gasps] >> I thought he can he can blitz me there and then he can blitz me and surf me.
But, he couldn't have two blitzers, could he?
Oh, god. So, I should have stayed there and trapped this guy.

This guy's a bit exposed, isn't he? I probably could have had that guy behind him or something, but Yeah, I should have I should have trapped him.
And now he's he's approaching this line.

And yeah, now that this whole line is here Ugh.
Ugh. Yeah, yeah, he should have Yeah, I I agree. Frenzy this guy, I shouldn't have left him with nothing behind him. I thought it was a mistake leaving him with nothing behind him.
And again, I can't really push down here cuz the the frenzy's threatening something, isn't it, if I do anything there?
And this line is just really, really good, isn't it? If you've only got strength three. I'm unused to facing this without necromantic who's just piling with guard and strength four.
>> [laughter] >> And then it's not so good, is it? But um when you're only strength three yourself and you don't really have any angle, do you, to do anything? So Yeah.
I could have tried to get around the corner here. I did consider trying to go around the corner a little bit here.
Especially after piling him right.
That's five. I could have gone there a bit. But again, then he could then he could come in with a serve. So the the frenzy is really what makes this work.
Because you can't run somebody around like to the outside like that.
Um So yeah, it's pretty good having this frenzy in here. And like I can't just pile in like an idiot. I I guess what I could have done is I could have like blitzed this guy in one dice.
Um and you know, put an assist, blitz this guy in one dice. And then I could have two plus people through. But it's also turned four. It's a little bit early to do that. And people are pretty far away. So I don't really want to do that either.
So um I centralize, which keeps him honest a bit, doesn't it?
But not really thinking about what to do.
I'm trying to not get full blitz like blitzes and a follow up and some stuff.
Maybe he should have kept tagging him.
No reason to let him get him up for free.
And concede space.
You can argue for the Dragon Prince blitz here, can't you?
Because they're both down is uh That was an kill an instant app on. I'm never going to not app all the first removal honestly with iOS.
Cuz everyone's a good player, aren't they? So um maybe just prioritize like not having your guy wrestle seeing as you've got this amazing line, which is like impenetrable. Except now it is penetrable, right? Because now what I can do is what I attempt to do.
Which is take the least important fellows and then go for a 4 plus dodge.
This guy goes 1 2 3 4 5 6, and if he gets the 4 plus dodge, then he he hits him, and if he powers him, it's amazing cuz it changed that guy to there, and then everybody walk through for free, and everybody is right there as well, not like last turn. This time they're right there, so I'd get the whole team through it like here.
If if I can do a 4 plus. If I if I if I don't power, then I've still got two something, haven't I?
Oh, no, it's three twos. Not so good if I don't power.
It's three twos, but if I power, it's just completely incredible. No, no, if I if I don't power, I push my own player.
And then it's it's No, no, it's still three. So, okay, yeah, well.
If I one dice power, it's incredible. If I push him, it's not so good.
But, if I push him, then I just carry on dodging myself with the with the dragon warrior dragon prince, and then the other dragon prince will come on a three two, so I've dragon princes behind the line.
So, this was my idea.
And obviously, the fact that I've gone into such detail means you know that the dodge fail is coming.
So, not great.
And now he just goes back, and this weakness no longer exists in the formation, so it's just a full line.
Horrible.
Horrible this formation, isn't it?
There's just no way through.
So, I think I'll pile in.
>> [laughter] >> I'll pile in like an idiot, and then hope something good happens.
Which I shouldn't have gone this far over.
>> [laughter] >> I realize now I should have, you know, caged here or something.
Or even here.
Because what's happened is get a push and then I've got three twos to get out through.
And this guy's got a three three two to get through as well.
There's a unfortunately a very simple way to chain these out of the way, isn't there?
Which is exactly But the good thing is this is dismantled his line just in time.
At this point I'm supremely confident.
Because I was an idiot and didn't see this super basic chain.

For free. I couldn't believe I couldn't believe it when I like he wasn't dodging.
I I'd like stopped paying attention. I'm not the the unfortunate thing is I do not like locking for these games.

And at this point I'm still very confident.
But this this guy is available, isn't it? He needs to not hard for him to get there at all.
And he gets there. He could have rushed again, couldn't he? Could he? No.
So I watched this back and I think what this So there's a dodge play here. I think what the play I should have done with three rerolls was dodge this fella out to there.
And then maybe just block.
But maybe not block.
In fact, maybe dodge this guy out and around.

I think the best move is this guy dodges out because he's not doing anything else, right? This guy can't go anywhere or do anything else. So, this guy does a two plus and then I just go straight in for the the dodge surf.
And then react to where it is with like maximum players.
Um you know, these can come down, follow this way. This can come across, get it this way, or if it goes that way, I can come out and get it. So, I think I should have just done dodge.
Maybe a block cuz he can't go too far.
So, maybe a block and then cuz I might get a pow. And then if I get the pow, he could come and pick it up and like hand it off, right? And then I'm gone.
So, maybe just do the 2D in case they're all at full pow.
But then just go and do the surf instead. But instead, it's a bit of a I'm not a bit of a scuffed turn, a very scuffed turn.
A very, very scuffed turn cuz I don't follow. Like what I should have done there is I could have just followed. I could have just pushed him there and followed.
He could have been there and I could have been an assist. And instead, I just didn't follow. I don't know why.
I don't know why I didn't follow.
And then I don't I pow him, but he's steady footing and I don't have an assist. So, now I've got a rather than blitzing with a thrower, I've got to now blitz with this guy.
And have to surf him, obviously.
Which to be fair is a chaos, but he is apple works.
And then I dreaded this throw-in, but it came back to me, so that was a glorious throwing.
And now the problem is I didn't use this guy for the anything, right? So, this guy is now totally trapped.
I've used an extra player that I didn't need to use to get the surf.
But he did have a two plus out, so that's quite good.
So, and he's got block, steady footing, so he's my ultimate ball carrier man, isn't he?
So, we get the ball to him.
And I could have done this a bit better, right? This guy could have been there.
Or maybe this guy could have been there or something.
Would have probably helped.
Um but I didn't really I didn't really envision it all. It was a It was a very scuffed turn. This was This should have been one of those turns where I thought a bit more before doing it, you know?
Think about who's going to be ready to react and make screens and stuff.
So, if I'd done it a bit better, I could have had like two more players, right?
And then with two more players this gets much more locked down.
But instead it's not very well done.
And he just has to do a what? A three two to hit me with wrestle.
Three two two. He's got to dodge through with this guy.
Go. This guy's just got to dodge through here, hasn't he?
But that would have been a lot better if this guy had been there.
I mean, you can just see how bad it is, like if I had two more players it would have been much harder for him.
Gets the And then this guy can reach.
Could have two plus this guy first, couldn't he? But didn't.
And he fails the dodge and he goes to this one. I mean, of all the places to go to.
Uh that was kind of annoying because I you know what I wanted to do was like this guy blitzes him.
And then one of them picks it up and gives it to him, isn't it? That's what I want to do.
But uh unfortunately I've got to blitz him.
None of these can reach anywhere, so I might as well three dice the surf.
And don't surf him.
>> [laughter] >> Put some players on him in case it goes wrong.
And there's no nothing for it. I've got to roll three pluses, unfortunately.
So do the blitz, get the pow.
Decent scatter.
On this side would have been better, but it does mean I can hand off to this guy with rushes.
He had to do a three plus dodge, which I hated.
And get the rushes.
And get the hand off. So somehow got the thing done.
Um I did this setup.
Which isn't great, is it? This isn't great, this setup.
I wonder, honestly if because people know about going around the outside I wonder if it's better to move this guy up there and then like move these guys forward somehow. There's got to be like a better a better defense against it, hasn't it?
This this seems outdated now. People seem to have got around this too well.
We need to We need to like work out the best anti anti one turn defense because people have cottoned on to the fact that you can use the big dipper.
That's what I'm calling it, the big dipper.
It looks more or less like it, doesn't it?
The plow actually, isn't it? It's the plow. I don't know why I called it the big dipper. It's the plow.
So, he gets another reroll. That's wonderful, isn't it?
Oh, no, he didn't. Nobody did. We both did, which means he did.
Right. So, the hard part about this is getting the two pushes.

So, it's like it's already better than dodging through a back line, right?
So, the back line defense that people like sometimes cuz there's no defense is pretty terrible.
Because this is These are These are the This is the hardest part of this, and they're both four pluses, essentially.
And he gets the push, and he gets the push. And now >> [laughter] >> it's three D's from here out.
Very easy from here on out to do this.
I think this is kind of a mistake where he was set up. He ends up having to do a rush.
And then this could have been [music] a This could have been one of the claw guys, right? So, he didn't wouldn't have had to rush there.

He's not on a tackle zone here.
So, he could have just picked it up, passed to him, and then he could have gone 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 handoff.
So, so this this this line warrior should have been there, and he should already been handed off.

Yeah. I mean, the idea was correct. The execution was like a little bit off, right? This guy could have been there.
I guess he wanted to hold two in case of a blitz.
But, this could have been a dodger, and then he could have dodged off of something, couldn't he?

So, all I can do is just blitz his claw, can't I? He's rubbish frenzy guy. He hasn't got dodge, so easy target.

And then I think down to nine players, I'm just going to keep everybody central and hope I can get like a crazy play on the ball, like that's all I'm looking for at this point. So, no point spreading out.
I don't think.
And letting him pick on anybody off.
Although, let's just stay in the center, so he's got to pick on my like worst players.
Keep my uh positionals fresh.
I think about running through here, but it was a bit too rubbish to run through, like it'd been threes, wouldn't it? It'd have been a three-two past that guy, and I didn't I didn't fancy running everybody up.
And what I wanted to do here was I decided to do like idiot basing.
And the idea was >> [laughter] >> The idea because I got a stun.
There's two things. He can panic because, you know, everything's based.
But more likely is that he doesn't notice this guy, right? 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 rush rush.
Unless he Unless he brings the ball back two squares, I can potentially sack the ball next turn, right? This guy can come and assist.
This guy can come and assist.
And then this and you know, either of those and he can blitz the ball. So, I'm hoping that he just doesn't kind of recognize the speed of movement eight guys, but he does. But a lot of people don't, right? They're so fast movement eight.
Um so, I thought I'll I'll try and do that sneaky.
Isn't this defense one guy on the right and two in the middle that's on?
Don't know what that means.
It No, it doesn't make any difference which of whichever way you do it.

By the way, all that I was trying to answer this thing that was completely wrong. I got two more players removed, right? With his To be fair, it was an idiot basing turn. I shouldn't have done it. I should just stay in the way. No, I could I can play defense with nine players, right? I shouldn't have done what I did. But But now at this point, losing four players, I'm like, if I play even worse, um he might be encouraged to score early and go for the win.
>> [laughter] [clears throat] >> So at this point, I'm deliber- I'm deliberately um basing everything hoping that he'll make a removal and go for the win.
>> [laughter] >> Because I think it's so hard to stop high elves that, you know, I'll be able to uh I'll be able to do something anyway. I make the rush here because I don't want him to hit him out.
I don't want him to be able to What?
Let's speak English. I make the rush here because I don't want him to be able to push me out of range of scoring.
But of course, he's got a frenzy here, so he can do that anyway.
So that wasn't very clever of me, was it?
So yeah, I mean, I've I've played this half terribly. Realistically, I I I overreacted to the the two players loss. I should have just played sensible.
Um you know, I'd done a line in the center, given him the sidelines, and make him work for it a bit instead of just basing up like an idiot and losing two more.
I mean, I'm still unlucky, of course.
We could Is the Is the game stats the blocks are they up to date?
Uh he's made seven more blocks than me.
But still four still five removals to one.
So I've still been unlucky on the removals front, but there was no need to give him those hits. That was bad play to give him all those hits.
And with that fail, so this is This is the most interesting turn of the game now.
I was so mad that this guy stunned.
Because if this guy wasn't stunned, he can just stand up and he cancels these this assist.
And then I can just two plus four plus one dice the ball.
Which is crazy, isn't it?
Down to seven players that I can two plus four plus the ball is crazy.
But with him being down, I can't really go for it. And then I thought, you know what? I can go for it. I've just got to do a two plus four plus to cancel it.
So I do the two plus four plus and do cancel it. So now I'm cooking.
Right now it's just instant blitz. We do the blitz.
Dodge there. Dodge there. Completely reasonable two plus four plus to one dice the ball, isn't it? Four plus to get him down works. Removes.
Um and then six goes to pick up the ball.
Now what I should have done here is what I should have done here is I should have stopped, taken a minute.
Because, you know, there's no time limit on fumble.
If it was on Blood Bowl 3, I could have used, you know, a minute of time bank.
If I was on a clock in tabletop, I end every game with like 20 minutes left on my side, right? So I could just I should have just thought, "How do I win from here?"
And I can win from here. This is the craziest thing, right? I just thought I didn't think. I just thought, "Oh, I'll run down here, you know, two more squares, and then I'll try and get something in the way." And I just I just didn't think.
If I'd thought, he goes seven eight rush rush, right?
So he stood here.
That's where he can go. I should have thought, "Where can he go?
7 8 rush rush, that's where he can go. I mean, he could he could even go there.
He could even go there, further away.
Probably even go there, couldn't he?

I've literally just won if this if this turn happens. So, this is a good thing about taking a minute to think, plan out your turn. You know, with a tabletop you could get your dice out, couldn't you?
You can mark the pitch and fumble, right? I could have just I could have I could have marked the field with an X of where he's going to be. I could have marked, you know, where everyone else could have come with a corner cut, without the corner cut. 1 2 3 4 5 6 rush rush. He can get there without the corner cut, can't he? That might be good enough.
So, like it's better if you could score in it, but it's an extra three, isn't it?
So, I probably don't even cut the corner there, which then this guy is there and that's a bit stronger. Or he could be there.
And it's just like you just got to think about that. I should have really thought. I should have really really thought that turn.
Like obviously I'm I've given up a bit, right? I'm on seven players. And I've played crap for two turns in a row. So, I've kind of given up a little bit. I don't really care too much about the game. But the thing is I do What happens with me is I don't care about the game and then immediately I care loads that I haven't won.
>> [laughter] >> It's really weird. I care a lot more after the event than I do during the event. Like here I'm spending all this time on how good this turn could have been and how bad it was. And it's like I don't think that much in the turns and then I regret them for a long time afterwards. So, I'm going to try I'm going to try and give myself a minute to think sometimes.
Um but yeah, I just brainlessly run forward and don't rush cuz there could be a snake, right? I don't want to roll snakes I don't have to roll.
But it turns out See, I didn't rush there. I just moved him across.
And I didn't think these dice were going to work. You know, he didn't have dodge of this one.
And then I don't reroll that.
Because even if I'd rolled it, right?
That was about five to there, six.
Rush to there. He's not doing anything, right? Cuz I did I didn't have I didn't have the forethought to make a com- a complete web. So, now it's really easy for me to get me. He's got frenzy and wrestle.
It's like now the frenzy doing something here, isn't it? It's actually giving me the extra chance to get me.
Which could be crucial.
Just pushes.
Well, it wouldn't have been crucial if he would have just re-rolled it, but there we go. He gets the wrestle.
And then uh does just enough to dodge everybody off and make a full cage.
And this is a hilarious turn incoming here.
I thought what would PC do?
And there's I can score this turn, by the way, right?
I can fully score here.
I pull pull him back, so I've got a safe move, right? Safe move. I've got something back there in case it fails.
So, let's pause.
So, it's 1 2 3 4.
One D and a one, right? It's a five plus dodge, and I'm I'm not going to re-roll it. Cuz with three re-rolls, >> [laughter] >> I think I might get all three KOs back and be able to do a one turn, right?
So, I think I'm not going to re-roll the five plus in. Um and if it works, it works. Which I probably should have re-rolled the five in, thinking about it now.
Because it's a five plus to get the ball down, isn't it? Kind of, because you've got steady footing. But, wrestle up full power is good enough. And especially on like if I push and then power on the second one.
Like this is not a hard touchdown, right?
The the Phoenix Warrior goes there, goes there, lobs it to him, he scores. Like this is a completely reasonable touchdown chance. So, I definitely should have rerolled the dodge in, but I didn't.
Uh but I didn't need to. And then I get the 1D skull.
Another 1D skull, reroll it, skull, dead.
>> [laughter] >> So, pretty unlucky.
But uh yeah, I wasn't going to reroll the fight, but I should have done because that that turn was a definite putting all three rerolls, you win the game. Like imagine if this had been that guy piled there and the ball scatters to like there, which is one of the worst scatters, isn't it?
Then it's still just a two three. 1 2 3 4 5 6. Still just a 2 3 2.
Three with a reroll. And then a 2 2. Like that's insanely easy score. Like that's an insanely easy score. That's like one of the one of Okay, obviously, you know, the these it's open, right? So, this this is a much better scatter than then it would just be like 1 2 3 4 5 6 lob it there on a four.
And then he 2 2s to score. Like it's super easy touchdown. Very very very likely to get the counter score there.
Bizarrely against the full kit. Like once I'm in and the ball's down.
>> [laughter] >> Then it becomes very likely. So, but so I really should have used the rerolls to try and get the ball down.
But um it didn't. And now it's basically over, right?
Basically over at this point.
Yeah, like the the dice aren't difficult once you've got the once you've made the 5-plus dodge in and the 5-plus knock down. So, you should use your rerolls on that. That's the point, right? That's the point. You should use all three rerolls to to win games as elves. And I have a bit of an allergy to that.
And I've got to I've got to conquer that, especially versus good players.
Versus bad players, I still want to keep all of my rerolls and you know, not commit and not commit and not commit, but I should get used to committing them to win the game.
I really should.
That's what they're there for, isn't it?
You know.
As much as I don't agree with PC's extreme rowdiness, um there's definitely you know, merit to being a bit crazier.
I won't I'll go too far here. This guy could have just been there and then I snake my dodge.
And fall over there.
Yeah, there was no reason to be here. He could have He could have been there or something.
And then again, he makes the cage and now I've only got one reroll, so now I've got to keep the reroll for the one turn, haven't I? As much as I don't have much chance, I need probably all three chaos back.
Don't have frenzy, which really helps with fewer players.
So, just a very basic fourth plus dodge and then go for the sack.
Fail it and he scores.
Get two of them back.
So, eight players it is possible.
But, it's not easy.
So, it's cheering fans and he gets a reroll.

He picks it up, goes Oh, I don't need things to do. He stands there and hands it off to him.
And then he does a one dice blitz.
And then he has to basically do like a five plus three plus four plus dodges.
So, it's it's very It's a one dice blitz, which can be a pow cuz he pushes this guy into there.
And then he does the dodges around.
Um and then this one does all the dodges around.
Uh Well, this one dodges all the way around to here.
Or maybe this one does. I don't know.

Um and then one of them dodges all the way around to there.

So, all these are filled in at this point. Then he blocks him.
Then he blocks this guy up to there.
Then this one blocks this one to there.
And then this one blocks him to there.
And then it's still not good, is it?
