In Glass Onion, the film's title metaphorically represents the multiple layers of deception surrounding Miles Bron's murder mystery party, where each guest harbors secrets and motives, ultimately revealing that Miles himself orchestrated the entire event to frame his business partner Duke and cover up his involvement in the dangerous Clear hydrogen fuel project that could destroy the world.

Gosh I love this movie. *Glass Onion Movie Commentary*Ajouté :
Okay. Oh my gosh, I am running a little bit late because my monitor decided to self-clean. Took freaking forever. By forever, I mean 15 minutes, but it felt like forever. Time is money. Am I right, ladies?
Welcome back. What's up, guys? It's Angie. Today we're going to be watching Glass Onion. I'm so excited to continue on with the Knives Out trilogy. Thank you guys so much for checking out my first one if you guys did. And if you haven't checked out my first commentary to Knives Out, you should definitely go do that. With that being said, yes, this is a commentary series. I have seen all three movies before, so don't come at me. I've already prefaced this in the first movie commentary. Yes, sometimes I do pure reactions. Sometimes I just do commentaries. And this was one of those movie series where it's just so good that I can't not do this for the channel one and two not revisit these after watching the Daniel Craig Knives Out. I mean Daniel Craig James Bond movies. So I'm really excited to check this out. I haven't watched this one in a minute. I don't really remember all the intricacies of this one to be honest. So that's what makes it way more exciting for me to revisit this because I don't really remember this one as much as I do the first one. Big special thanks to my VIPs for supporting the channel. And if you guys are interested in watching the full-length commentary to this movie, make sure to check out my Patreon page.

I'm dead. Yeah, I'm going to be honest.
I don't remember this.
>> My constituents trust that I'm going to >> This party is going on in May 2020.
Absolutely not. This would not have happened. All of these people are willing to gather.
>> Why can't she have her phone?
>> Because she's afraid that I will tweet an ethnic slur >> again. Yes.
>> Again. I'm dead.
>> Even know that that word referred to Jewish people. Thought it was a generic term for cheap. People can't handle it.
That's their problem.
>> You have to be a little sensitive, though. Especially if you're a public figure.
>> What is it? It's like a It's just like a block of wood.
>> Okay. How do you open this thing?
>> Birdie is her name. I'm dead.
>> Peg's putting out a fire. She'll be back. Stay off the Twitter.
>> Things like that. It's fine.
>> It's a literal fire in her home.
>> Bird, should you really be having a party?
>> No, they're all in my pod. It's fine.
They're all in your What?
>> So, this has gotten some attention recently. So obviously >> why is Gamora's back?
>> No, Jimmy Kimmel, I do not hate boobs.
We're talking about the breastification of America. I mean, what that mean?
>> What?
>> So when you're asking a young man in America to slow down so a woman can catch up, the western workplace has been dominated.
>> Oh, there's so much wrong with this clip. Oh, but he probably makes so much money off of that. Is this legit or you rage baiting? Either way, he's making the money. So Oh, >> your mother to shut up. I'm sorry. It's just when we're live.
>> When we're >> Jeez, Mom. I'm sorry.
>> Yeah. Respect your mother.
>> What is this thing?
>> My mom already broke it.
>> It's a stereograph.
>> I don't know if she broke it.
>> Stereograph.
>> Oh, I LOVE HOW MAMA Duke figured it out.
>> What' I tell you ABOUT TOUCHING MY STUFF?
>> How do you What do you mean magic eye things? Not entirely sure what that means. Oh, did they actually make these boxes?
>> They're 62. I know this.
>> But it's solved already.
>> Can't be. Thank you for contributing.
>> F though. What does the F mean?
>> This and O tic tactoe.
>> Good job, Birdie. She's like five steps behind. I love the little puzzle so much.
>> Maybe in one of the other puzzles.
>> It's a compass.
>> Mom. Okay. North. South. Okay. N is for north.
>> Mom's spoiling it for everyone. Moms always know. Moms always know. Right.
Right. Am I right? This must be a freaking expensive puzzle. Alexa, Shazam the song, please.
>> This is Bach Little Fugan G minor.
>> And you layered this tune on top of itself. It starts to change and turns into a beautiful new structure.
>> Thank God for this guy at Birdie's party. You were asking a lamp to Shazam's song, thinking it was Alexa.
No way.
>> Freaking Miles, man.
>> That first one's a Fibonacci sequence.
>> He's like, YOU'RE SPOILING IT. Look at that.
>> My dear friends, my beautiful disruptors, >> you are cordially invited >> for a long weekend on my private island.
>> I hope your puzzle solving skills are wet.
>> You will also be competing to solve the mystery >> of my murder, love, and all my kisses.
Miles, >> I love how murder mysteries was like a huge trend, too.
I appreciate the safety goggles before doing this. She said, "I got no time for fun in games." I wonder why she got invited again or I can't remember why she got invited cuz obviously she doesn't like him.
Oh my gosh, this game. Among Us. I want to play Among Us again so badly. What?
>> Hold on.
>> See, that's what I'm saying. Like, >> what is >> I saw you go in the engine room? You're the imposter. This was such a huge game.
Oh my gosh. Especially in May 2020. Ah, peak co games. I love this. I actually have an Among Us video where I did with a bunch of my reactor friends like back in 2020. So like at this point that video is probably be like 5 years old probably.
>> Angelina's at home. I'm coming for you and I'm coming for you. IT WASN'T UNTIL ANGELINA SAID SHE WAS WITH ME THE WHOLE TIME.
>> WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, hold on.
>> Quipl code names >> code names. Oh my gosh, looking back now, that's like wild. Dang. This was a year after No Time To Die came out.
>> You're not in the bath again, are you?
>> No.
>> You don't fit in this bathtub, sir.
You're actually too large for this bathtub.
>> I'll lose it between cases anyway. I think I might have it going insane. A he's not doing well in co. He's like already when I'm not working I feel like horrible. Add like home basically home arrest. House arrest. I mean I'm literally going. We all were. Dude, we all were. You and me both. Blanc.
>> Blanc. There's someone here for you with a box.
>> Oh my god. Are you Ben Blanc? Did you solve the murder of the ballet dancer with the thing and the thing >> in the flesh?
>> I want the ballet dancer story. Where's this movie? Come on, >> this birdie Jay. What an extraordinary G.
>> I'm also forgetting how he got a box.
>> Ruptors have assembled.
>> Remember my girl Whiskey?
>> Hi. Of course.
>> Her name is Whiskey. There's no way that's her real name.
>> Benoir Blanc is going to help solve the mystery of Miles's murder.
>> Well, we'll see.
>> I'm surprised that he was invited and this was just going to be like a super easy murder mystery party, right? Was he actually just invited for the party? And I'm surprised he ended up going. and not just being like, "Oh, this >> the first new person he's ever invited."
>> What is this material?
>> Oh, she's flirting with him.
>> Cotton, I think, >> sir.
>> Cotton.
Oh, that's hilarious. Just super not fancy.
>> The little cough.
>> What is that? Is that some kind of disinfectant?
>> You're good. Have a great trip, everyone.
>> I'm good. Is that Ethan Hawk? I can't tell cuz he has the sunglasses on. Is that weird of me to say intrigue?
>> Hi.
>> Yeah, I like remember Andy being like not part of the group, but I don't really remember why. Oh my gosh, I really don't remember this movie. Well, I remember >> I could not help but notice >> actually. No, I don't remember how it gets to this point. Okay, so if you haven't watched this movie, click away because my brain is going to do a thing here, but it's going to require spoiling some of the movie. So, but I'm assuming you've watched this movie before if you're watching this commentary. But like, I know she's not actually Andy.
Like, she's her sister, right? But like, I forgot why she's even in place of her sister because her sister was off, but like how it gets from there to there.
Seriously, don't remember. I I don't It's been a while since I've seen this movie. I watched this movie in theaters with my sister and I remember it being like pretty freaking good. And I really liked how they took a different tone with this movie already. It's more of a summer movie than the I don't know like kind of fall winter vibe I got from Knives Out. A lot more comedic I feel like. Blackbird singing the dead of night.
And we got Fight Club guy.
>> Are we allowed to hug after the whole Men in Black thing?
>> We can hug.
>> This is a dream.
>> NOT A DREAM. WIDE AWAKE.
>> SO, you're telling me that spray was supposed to what? Like if one of them had co >> How you doing?
>> I'm so good.
>> Yeah.
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, that's a very tender hug. These two ladies are like, "Is this awkward?"
>> There we go.
>> Andy, you're here.
>> See, you're confused, too.
>> All right. When's the murder mystery start?
>> It's begun. Because obviously he's confused as to why Andy's here. We just take a second and fully embraiate this moment together. I mean, >> embraiate. Oh, who are you with the Corona extras?
>> That's Daryl. He's He's just staying here. He's going through some things, but he's not part of the experience.
>> I love how the camera went towards him and then back to uh Edward here.
>> This is stretching my stride taking abilities.
>> You're doing great. I'm Andy.
>> That is very genial of you. I'm Ben Wall.
>> You got a flat tire there.
>> Flat tire.
>> Thank you.
>> Oh, his shoe is untied. That's such a cute statement to say for your shoe being untied. Is that like a an actual I've never heard of that. Does anyone else say that?
>> Ignore me.
>> It's kind of awesome.
>> This is the full reclamation.
>> He's cutting through cutting through the frame again.
>> Look, I sent everyone home. I just want to have a normal weekend with my old friends like the old days.
>> You sent everyone I was literally about to say obviously there's people here helping, right?
>> It's not even a house.
>> Okay, that answers my question. Wait, that's a real robot. Wait, that's a what's that robot called? I don't know if he's actually carrying all those things, but they definitely use that model based off of a real robot. I don't remember whose it is. Is it IBM or is it Oh my gosh. Boston Dynamics Spot. Oh, his name is Spot. You can now buy Spot the robot dog if you have like $75,000.
Oh my gosh. Yeah, I was going to say that was based off of Spot probably. I'm dead. And Spot can do some like crazy things. You guys should look into the Boston Dynamic uh dog. Robot dog. It's pretty cool.
>> Is that a motor car?
>> Oh, yeah. That's my baby blue. Goes anywhere I go.
>> Why is it on the roof?
>> Cuz there's nowhere to drive it on the island.
>> Oh, yes. Oh, of course.
>> Oh, okay.
>> What are you doing here?
>> I'm I'm I'm sorry.
>> You received a box?
>> Yes.
>> The wooden box was delivered to my home with some simple children's puzzles which >> simple. Do you have that invitation?
>> Yes, I do. I'm very confused. Is is this part of the game?
>> This is just like the other ones, but I didn't send it to you.
>> Another anonymous invitation to do some investigating.
>> Someone reset the box. They sent it to you as a gag.
>> Miles is doing a murder mystery. Let's invite Benois freaking out.
>> Who invited you?
>> I am mortified. I I don't >> Why? I've got the predefinite detective in the world at my murder mystery party.
That is so legit.
>> It is pretty legit.
>> An anonymous invitation is not to be trifled with.
>> That is true. Flashback to Knives Out.
Birdie, look at Kate Hudson. How is she still looking like that? Am I right or am I right?
>> Look at this pool. I think I'll go for a swim.
>> Maybe I'll lay out for a bit.
>> She said, "Never mind. I cannot compete with the 20-year-old." But Kate Hudson, literally, you're like just as hot, if not more. You remember that night you almost pancake me with it on the road outside?
>> Anderson Cooper's birthday. Coup's parties are memorable.
>> Anderson Cooper's birthday.
>> Oh god.
>> Really, Duke?
>> What?
>> Oh my god.
>> Really?
>> So, you just do that for fun? He did them all on the way in, too.
>> May I ask if it isn't too present?
>> What first drew you all together? Such an eclectic bunch.
>> Birdie is so cute.
>> Well, some people think Birdie's disruptive every time she opens her mouth.
>> It's pretty true.
>> I say it like I see it. No, but >> that's true. That's what you said. You say it like you see it. You got no filter, which I guess keeps you authentic, but also insensitive. Maybe >> it was a tribute to Beyonce, but people did not take it that way.
>> A tribute to Beyonce. Did you go as Beyonce? Oh my gosh. And then she like blackfaced. Oh my gosh. It's like that's a little awkward. It depends. I have a weird thing about this cuz I and I mentioned it in actually the Reckless 3 podcast, but we were talking about how like if you dressed up as Beyonce, that's one thing. adding skin changing things. That's where we're kind of like drawing the line. But I feel like dressing up as her is a is fine. I genuinely think that's okay. What do you guys think?
>> Nobody wants you to break the system itself. That is what true disruption is.
We all got to that line and crossed it.
So disruptors, all of us.
Sounds pretty egotistical and assholeike to be honest. I guess kind of motivational, but disruptors is like not really the word for it.
>> Can you spot the other thing? The real thing this group has in common.
Everybody knows who Lionel works for.
That's no secret. And we know who bankrolled Claire's campaign.
>> Yeah, they're all suckups. They're not disruptors.
>> But she went on Oprah and compared herself to Harriet Tubman >> in spirit.
>> Shut up. In spirit.
Harriet Tubman. Really? How did you compare yourself to Harriet Tubman?
>> Every single one of you was holding on for dear life to Miles Brian's golden titties. And each of you and he felt uncomfortable. Suddenly, he was aware that he was naked. That is either good acting or good directing. I don't know who decided that, but I liked that detail.
>> Like Miles said, I'm a truth teller.
Some people can't handle it. It's a dangerous thing to mistake speaking without thought or speaking the truth.
Don't you think?
>> Drop a mic.
>> Something's off.
>> What do you mean?
>> She's changed. What's she playing at?
Bird showed me the statement that you want her to make to the press about Bangladesh. You make her go through with it. Her name is destroyed.
>> Are you her publicist?
>> You got to get her to make that statement. It is her only way out.
>> Her only way out.
>> I need to know what the statement is.
This is a smokeless garden.
>> No.
>> Run, Blanc, run. It wasn't you. Let him enjoy his cigar.
Oh, yeah. That's awkward. But also, like, we all knew, right? Like the way that she hugged him in the beginning.
Come on. Also, what kind of friend are you, Miles?
Yeah, it's pretty bad. Yeah, like Whisy's wrong, but like at the same time, what kind of friend? like bro code, right? Yeah. That's the thing about this movie too is like if similar to Knives Out one, this one I remember like everyone has like a motive. Wait, I'm going to be honest. I I remember him not being murdered. Who the heck was murdered? I genuinely don't remember. Oh my gosh. No, it's um it's it's Gamora.
Wise Gamora that dies, right? I'm not entire I don't remember this at all. Oh my gosh. Okay, but I remember his wise Gammora who dies because it was like a drink switch and the only reason why I remember that was because in theaters I saw him switch the drink.
>> Wait, >> that's impossible, Miles.
>> Mhm. Forgive my incredility, but >> that is impossible.
>> So that's property of the state. There's no way.
>> Blame it on the Po Blanc.
>> Yeah, there's literally no way.
>> France needed money and so I bought myself a little short-term loan.
>> Did you just do that to like show off to your friends? It's so weird to pay just to have the real Mona Lisa at your party.
>> What did I say to you guys? The first night that we hung out in the glass on I want to be responsible for something that gets mentioned in the same breath as the Mona Lisa.
>> Oh, that's why you got the Mona Lisa.
Cuz you're rich enough now and just trying to be nostalgic.
>> You know what this is?
>> You know damn well we do. What's going on, Miles?
>> I don't.
>> Don't drop it.
>> Oh my god.
>> That's a new solid hydrogen fuel. Zero carbon emissions and it's derived from abundant seawater. Call it clear with a K.
>> Clear is actually taken with a C.
>> No, because I was clear with you.
>> I get it. Clear with you.
>> 2 years minimum. Test this stuff to see if it's safe or even viable.
>> Yeah, pure hydrogen fuel. That doesn't sound safe. Literally blowing the world up.
>> Ford is tested and >> Oh no, >> it's already powering your home for sure. The heating and the cooling, everything right down to my fax machine.
The whole glass onion is powered by Clear.
>> Isn't that like super scary?
>> This is reckless and you're going to get somebody killed.
>> It's already happening.
>> He doesn't want his name responsible for something this dangerous. Pop off, Lionel. I wouldn't want to be a part of that either.
>> Underneath the part, you've been charged with a serious task because tonight a murder will be committed. My murder.
>> I love how everyone is not having fun anymore.
>> Any questions? Uh, wait. What are we waiting?
>> What do you What do you want?
>> No, no, nothing. I I I just thought maybe the prize or an iPad or I >> I love him so much. He's so wholesome.
He really like I don't know blossomed in this movie.
>> Well, will you still be able to talk to you?
>> Yeah, I'm not playing dead the whole weekend. You just can't ask me questions. I'm not going to help.
>> I don't actually need an iPad. I'm just saying.
>> I don't need an iPad.
>> Why not? As Watson said to Holmes, >> it was Birdie in revenge for you stealing her signature ren diamond.
>> What?
>> Look at the seating arrangement.
>> Look at the seating arrangement.
>> That is a vintage J-Hawk brand crossbow.
JAY-HAWK BIRDIE J.
>> OH, HOW DID YOU know that? To be clear, I mean, I didn't know what a blood diamond was.
>> The large pendulus locker out of keeping with your breezy island style.
>> I'm dead.
Yo, you wore that necklace which was her like ren diamond or whatever. Oh, that's so funny. You spoiled the whole weekend though.
>> This crime clashed with the presence of Ben Blanc.
>> Oh, he had a blood trigger and everything. He literally just had to walk around the island for a day and he figured it out.
>> An iPad.
>> What the hell? That was not the simplest thing to set up. It's fine. It doesn't matter. It just I hired Jillian Flynn to write the whole thing.
>> Oh, she's quite good.
>> She's goddamn expensive is what she is.
>> You're mad about money. You paid for the Mona Lisa to be there. Bro, >> you're taking seven people, each of whom has a real life reason to wish you harm and place the idea of your murder in their heads. It's like putting a loaded gun on the table and turning off the lights. So, you play hard ball with Lionel. Threaten to destroy his reputation if he does not play along.
No, it's clear too.
>> She does not approve your power plant.
>> You have done some homework.
>> I'm Birdie Bangladesh. Twitty pants are manufactured there in a sweat shop.
You're making Birdie take the fall to cover your ass as the main investor.
>> Oh, you invested in her.
>> Andy used to tell me the truth. Nobody does that now.
>> A That's a cute picture of everyone.
>> We just got here.
>> You can stay. Have fun.
>> Fine. You're murdering my vibe. You're murdering my vibe. Okay. Dialogue. Love it.
>> What'd you come for, Andy? I mean, given the circumstances, I think it's a fair question.
>> My life was taken away from by someone.
By everyone in this room.
>> I want the truth.
>> I can give you that. We are all holding on to that golden tit. We're all playing the same game here, honey.
>> Lionel's like, I'm done with this is >> I'm tired of pretending like you're the victim in this game. You just couldn't hack it.
>> Oh, shoot.
>> You're the loser. That's the truth.
>> How dare you? I'm a loser because I have integrity left and dignity.
>> Where's Andy?
>> Yeah. Where is Andy? There it is.
There's my guy. What's going on? You look like you got good news.
>> This is uh all over the internet. I mean, look at those numbers. Changes things, right?
>> That sure does.
>> We can talk Alpha News.
>> You bet your ass. Come here.
>> What did he show? He showed her He showed him something on the phone, right? He showed something on the phone.
Yes. This is what it was. And then it prompted him to kill him.
>> You know, 5 minutes ago, Blanc was telling me that this whole party was very dangerous idea cuz you all hate me so much that one of you would actually want to >> He planted the idea in his head. Oh my gosh. See, watch. He handed him the drink. I Yes. Okay. Yes, that was the moment.
>> My OG's I love you.
>> Cuz he wanted everyone to think that someone was trying to kill him.
>> Wild Duke.
Wait, is he choking?
>> I think I think >> No, no, he's not choking.
>> Allergic reaction >> to pineapple, right? That's what it was.
>> Mr. Brown, would you call your boat and have them come immediately?
>> There's a uh there's a radio room through there.
>> Tell them we need medical personnel. And please, >> don't you don't you act like that that wasn't your fault, you stupid idiot.
>> No, wait, wait. This is bad. Governor jets off to Greece in a pandemic with a men's RIGHTS YOUTUBER WHO DIES. OH MY GOD. NO, I >> It's pretty is pretty true.
>> But Mr. Cody's death was so acute and violent. My guess is something was put in his drink intentionally.
>> By you, stupid Miles. Wait, but okay.
Miles got the drink. Wait.
Yeah. Don't remember what was on his phone. Don't remember. Oh, I can't wait to watch this unfold actually for for like another time around cuz I'm getting all these extra details.
>> Do they understand the situation?
Miles's dumbass banksy dock was set to low tide height and it isn't buoyant.
Oh, heck.
>> Oh, that is >> That's your glass, Miles.
>> He picked up mine.
>> Oh, come on, Miles.
>> Miles, it's us.
>> I'll pay you $1 billion to tell me which one of them tried to kill me.
>> Miles, >> I'm just going to silence Duke's phone.
>> His phone's notifications are still on.
>> Where's Whiskey? Where's Andy?
>> Where's Duke's phone?
>> We just heard it. He's running away.
>> Forget about his phone. Look.
Oh, someone took his gun. What?
>> We need to find Andy.
>> Andy? M. Mr. Brawn. Just that hourly dong thing.
>> What?
>> You had that hourly dong thing installed.
>> And I thought it'd be fun to say something dramatic just at 10:00. Help me. Help me.
>> What happens at 10:00?
>> Yeah, he deserved that slap. He is acting the ish out of this, though. I like how this is called Glass Onion now because this movie does have a lot of freaking layers. Oh, this is so good.
I I can't wait to see how this all connects. Obviously, when you're first watching this, you're trying to piece everything together and you have no idea. But watching this the second time around and knowing certain elements that happened later and still not remembering how things pieced together is a different story, guys. And I swear I'm not faking it. Everyone's like, "It's so annoying to watch you react to things for a second time around when you've seen it before." But you can't tell me that all y'all's freaking memories are perfect when you rewatch things, right?
Like when it's been years. This isn't for the average viewer. This is only for the viewer that is judging me hardcore right now. I know there's some of you guys out there.
>> You take Duke's gun.
>> Why would I take Duke's gun?
>> Why are the lights on dead?
>> What?
>> I don't understand.
>> Only need one last piece of information and only you can do it.
Everyone inside.
>> Shouldn't we?
>> He's not going anywhere.
>> It's time to finish this.
>> I love Daniel Craig so much. Are you kidding me? Also, his eyes are so blue.
You can freaking see him even in the night shots.
>> Only one person can tell us who killed Cassandra Brand.
>> Cassandra Brand? That's her full name.
>> You're not in the bath again, are you?
>> No.
>> Yeah.
>> Stop it right now. Is this bin Blanc >> you Grant?
>> I really need to speak with him.
>> Blanc, there's someone here for you with a box.
>> Got it. Got it. Okay. So, Cassandra's sister, right? Okay. Okay. I didn't realize he called her Helen. I saw it in the subtitles, but I didn't know he said that in the first movie when she right before she got shot. So, that's really good detail. Number one. Number two, she he was hired by >> Helen makes so much sense.
>> She had the guts and brains for both of us and I was just happy watching her, you know, >> until she got herself murdered.
>> I'm cleaning it out. It's a mess. All of her books everywhere and I'm getting angrier. Then I just hear a knock at the door and it's some carrier with this from Miles Braun. Got it. Okay, so she didn't get the bo. Okay, this is all making sense. She was at her sister's residence and so that's why she found the box cuz obviously she was invited before she ended up getting murdered.
That makes so much cuz she's if she's from Alabama, she's not getting this box. OH MY GOSH, THAT MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE. Thank you.
>> I'm giving you all one last chance to make things right. Nowhere to find me.
Hey, >> nobody writes back anything and then the next day she's dead. I searched every inch of every room in her house and guess what wasn't there? that letter >> the red envelope.
>> Google said you are the world's greatest detective.
>> Google said she Googled who is the best PI out there and we got Bema Blanc. Love that. The modernday Sherlock >> you have no other family member who was informed of the death and if I pulled a few strings I could keep it from leaking to the press for another week maybe then >> so that she can play Andy. I'm proposing that you come with me as your sister.
>> Are you insane, >> butress? Now, yes. A famous detective out of the blue starts poking the subject to your sister. They'll shut up like a clam.
>> That's so true. But if they see that you're alive, >> I'm trying real hard to butcher. But this sounds nuts.
>> The only way that this works.
>> Yeah, they're not going to give him anything. If he's a PI showing up after they murdered her.
>> The moment you arrive on that island, the killer will know who you are and what you are doing. I'm a detective, Helen. I'm not a bodyguard.
>> One of those [ __ ] killed my sister.
Do you really think we can get the son of a [ __ ] >> if we work together? Hell yeah. I love how they made Ben. He was likable in the first one, but he didn't have a lot of pizzazz to his character. But in this one, they really showed him like all of his colors. Like yes, he talked to himself in the first one. He was a little quirky. But in this one, it's that times a thousand. 10 years ago before they all hit a bed. Used to hang together at this bar. They were all friends with Andy.
>> Oh, Andy connected them all together.
>> Then she found Miles. Introduced him to the group.
>> What was special about Miles?
>> He got Birdie a show for designs. It did well. Got Lionel published. Duke set up at Twitch.
>> Oh, he just made things happen. Okay, got it.
>> What is that? You're working on >> her napkin. Yes. And then that Yes. He stole her idea. No, >> Andy. This is it.
>> This could blow up the world. Literally, Miles, this could blow up the world.
>> I can't believe you let him partner with you in Alpha. It was fully your idea.
>> Miles was very excited. He had an idea.
So, he grabbed a napkin and he scribbled something on it to show.
>> Oh, THAT'S A LOT. LOOK ME IN THE EYE, CLAIRE.
>> OH, NO.
SEE, this is what happens when you trust the wrong person and decide to go into business with the wrong per person.
Miles suddenly found the napkin written in his handwriting.
>> A bald face fabrication.
>> A damn lie. And it worked.
>> I'd be pissed off, too. I can't believe you started Alpha with him. You could have started it by herself just because he got Duke on Twitch and helped Claire get elected. What?
Thank goodness she found the napkin. Oh my gosh.
>> You must be really great at glue, huh?
>> I'm very bad at dumb things. Kicking boxes, running around. Terrible.
Terrible game.
>> You're bad at Clue. I love how they mentioned Clue in the first movie, too.
I find it hard to believe that you'd be bad at Clue. Maybe it's cuz it's hard for him to be the first one into the the guessing room. I guess that's like the hardest part, right? It's like everyone could end up with the answer, but it's just whoever gets to that room first.
Maybe he's just bad at rolling dice.
>> That's a beautiful necklace. Miles got it for me. Surprised me for my birthday.
He filled his entire penthouse apartment with roses. He's complicated.
>> Roses. So, are you his girlfriend, too?
I read your court transcripts and you got shank.
>> You read her court transcripts? Oh my gosh. How did you do that?
>> Why do you put up with it?
>> With Duke. I'm building my brand and he's putting me on his channel more often. He's leaning harder right into this fandom stuff. Like if I'm going to go into politics eventually, I don't think that's a road I want to go down.
Like >> you want to go into politics, girl?
>> It's really great talking to you, Whiskey.
>> You too.
>> You're going to build an online brand off of I guess your own like profile being influencer and then you're going to try to go into politics.
[ __ ] >> Oh, this is where it's all lining up.
Got it.
>> Pray that Andy was wrong about this clear stuff.
>> Nah, she was right.
>> Hydrogen gas. I sold my soul for this.
You're telling me that it could literally turn people's home into the Hindenburg?
>> Yeah. Are you an idiot? You shouldn't have signed off on it, girl. Literally, it's it's your fault.
>> Can't imagine them killing her. I just can't >> think of the crime. It's nonviolent.
General, even. They don't even see her die. She just goes to sleep. Oh, I love how they show it could be literally any one of them.
>> Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I thought you said you didn't drink. You give me that. That's hard kombucha.
That's Jared Leto's hard kombucha.
That's what is it?
>> Jared Letos. I feel good.
>> I think maybe you should lie down.
>> I believe that.
>> Push nothing.
>> They're going to tell you to stop. Even your partner will say you need to stop.
>> Called out Andy right there. When your partner says you need to stop. Yep. It's one to be different and be like an entrepreneur and you know risk everything, but it's also another thing to like actually risk people's lives.
>> Can we talk about the email?
>> So now you want to talk about the email?
You didn't even write back.
>> I'm a politician. I never email anything that I wouldn't want to see on the front page of the Times.
>> It's pretty true.
>> And when we couldn't reach you, I went to your house.
>> Lionel and I got there at the same time.
Duke was already there. The lights were out.
>> I was pounding so hard I almost broke it down.
>> Andy.
>> Oh my gosh. Wait, what?
>> What time did you get there?
>> I don't know. It was dark.
>> And do you?
>> Oh, she was already dead.
>> You were already there.
>> He almost got in an accident on his motorcycle he was driving so fast.
>> If I would have answered the door that night, would you have said I'm sorry. Or were you just showing up so you could stop me from using that envelope?
>> That's true. She's calling you out there. Come on. You're just trying to get me to shut up so you can still get your money, right? It was Miles. It was Miles. all along.
>> That's everything she sees.
>> That was after he got caught. Oh, sorry. I did that right into the mic. That was right after you got caught for smoking in the smokeless garden. Oh, I'm dead. That's so funny.
>> We don't have a motive for Duke or either you two want to do a session or what?
>> What?
>> I'm on the clock.
>> No, no, not right now.
>> All right, it's your money, not mine.
>> Stop. That was the craziest cameo I've ever witnessed in my life. I do not remember that at all.
>> You're telling me they got Sabrina Williams?
>> Go to him. Just get an answer out of him. Look, babe. We really need this.
So, do this for me one last time, okay?
And look, >> you're telling me that this guy is pimping out his girlfriend? Shut up. Why are you with this guy? Break up with him. I mean, I guess she's using him for her brand, but like this is a step too far.
>> The YouTube channel's dying. He needs the exposure. Just put him on Alpha News, baby.
>> He is my loyal friend, but I can't put him on Alpha News. Okay, >> that's why he was getting angry.
Okay, that's literally crazy though, that you would use your girlfriend.
>> What did Miles mean? This is her only chance.
>> What does anything mean?
>> Oh, you put a tape recorder. Miss Jay, I am writing to inform you that the proposed Bangladesh factory, notoriously one of the world's biggest sweat shops.
And then you replied, "Sounds perfect.
Thanks."
>> Sounds perfect. Thanks.
>> Emoji dabbing >> with your emoji dab. Girl, girl, please.
>> Please tell me you did not think sweat shops are where they make sweatpants.
>> I mean, obviously she's got no IQ.
>> My god.
>> He said if I take full responsibility for the sweat shops, he'll pay me the value of my shares. Yeah, but then you're not going to have a career anymore. You're done after that.
>> Can I have my secret phone back?
>> No.
>> This just never happens in Clue.
>> That's because it's a terrible game.
>> He has something against Clue and it's hilarious.
>> Whoever killed your sister took that envelope to protect Miles, >> right? So, whoever has it is the killer.
I know he has a fake like napkin or whatever that was in his office. But what if that was the real one? And if that's the real one, then he's going to actually I don't know if he would frame it like that. He's gonna say that that one was his and he framed it, right? He probably is hiding the one that has the napkin.
>> Pick a fight >> and lose. We have to find that envelope.
Uh-uh.
>> That's why she caused a scene so that she can walk out without pinning it on her.
>> Whiskey. Leave his ass.
>> Yeah, seriously. Hello. You know it, too.
>> Search their room fast and thorough.
>> I don't want to know whose that was.
Dang. All the while freaking this guy was getting murdered.
>> Hey.
>> Oh, hey.
>> Hi.
>> Wrong room. We want to leave uh Daryl alone.
>> Want to hang out? Or >> Poor Daryl was not allowed to join the party with the rich friends. He really said stay in your room. Whiskey, is the party over?
>> Duke. I left Duke because I couldn't. He didn't deserve this. Help me tell his mom.
>> Hey, hey, hey, hey. Yes, he did. He is a bastard. I don't feel sorry for him. Oh, she But Helen doesn't know that he's dead.
Dang, you almost speared me for real.
That's wild. So, is what Duke showed on Miles's phone Andy's death and he was going to blackmail him, right? That's what it was.
>> One last piece of information and only you can >> Son of a [ __ ] >> Damn, that's one strong journal, am I right? Thank goodness for Andy's journal. That thing was thick. No way that would actually stop a bullet, right?
Jeremy Rener's hot sauce.
>> Killer thinks you're dead. This is our cover. You have to find that envelope.
Then this will be dead.
>> Oh. To make you cry, RIGHT?
>> OH NO.
>> Oh god. Oh god. That's going to make you cry a lot. A lot. Thank goodness this hot sauce was like blood colored.
>> She's not going anywhere.
>> Oh my gosh. It's going to make her want to sneeze so bad.
KEEP IT TOGETHER. OH MY GOSH. That's going to be so spicy.
>> This ridiculous game that started well before we set foot on this island.
>> And now we're caught up. So this is what he's doing. He's buying time here.
>> I expected complexity. I expected intelligence. But that's not what any of this >> is that one. It must be that one then.
>> Truth is it doesn't hide at all.
>> Oh yeah. Oh, it's behind the real one.
Very smart. Very smart.
>> What? It teased my brain through this entire case.
>> Inbreediate.
>> Inbreed.
>> It's not a real world. Kind of sounds like one. His dark doesn't float. He didn't design the puzzle boxes. He didn't write the mystery.
>> Yeah, he's an idiot.
>> Miles Brawn is an idiot.
>> Facts. Mike Drop. Impreiate.
>> Duke took my glass.
>> That's what you told us he did.
>> You think you were going to get past button wobb blank?
>> You handed Duke your own glass. Clear as crystal right in front of our eyes.
>> Clear as guys. Glass onion. Literally the entire set being made of glass. Glass structures. The fuel being called clear with a K. The use of the verb clear. I mean verb. Wo, wrong adjective.
But you know what I'm trying to say.
It's supposed to be obvious. I love it.
>> Was almost struck by him. In fact, he told all of us.
>> You remember that night you almost panced me with it on the road outside of >> Anderson Cooper's birth.
>> OH, THAT THE ANDERSON C. I didn't got it right. I remember that detail now.
Anderson Cooper's birthday. He was covering up for him saying at outside of Andes. Focus on the envelope.
>> Holy.
>> Jeremy Rener's hot sauce.
>> What is reality?
>> Kate Hudson. Man, she's so good.
>> Duke alone knew you were there that night. But he didn't know Andy was dead until this evening when he got a Google alert on his phone which has now fallen strangely silent.
>> He stole the phone >> right out in the open. Duke showed him.
>> Maybe we can talk Alpha News. You bet your ass. Come here. And >> so he murdered him in front of everyone.
>> What are the ingredients to all Cuban breed?
>> Oh god. And pineapple juice.
>> Duke, don't dance with pineapple.
>> Oh, that's what it was. He don't dance with pineapple.
>> He just put pineapple juice in his whiskuit.
>> It's so dumb.
>> Pretty dumb.
>> So dumb. It's brilliant.
>> No, it's just dumb.
>> It's so dumb. It's brilliant. Kate Hudson underrated. Actually, maybe she's properly rated, but I think she's underrated. I underrated her.
Underestimated her. All right, I can admit it. I haven't seen many movies with her. I literally have only seen like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. And uh that's pretty much it. I don't know if I watch anything else with her in it, to be honest.
>> It's like putting a loaded gun on the table and turning off the lights.
>> You gave him the idea of turning >> You diminless.
You're one murderer with any pache at all and you stole the whole idea from me. Literally nothing he does is original. He literally had the lights turned off because that's what you said to do. Oh my gosh, that's hilarious.
>> You still kept the envelope.
>> Yeah. Why didn't you destroy it?
>> Anything.
>> Yo, true. He didn't think of that cuz he's an idiot.
>> Second, >> [ __ ] And he stole Lionel's idea of burning it.
>> Did you see this proof? This smoking napkin blanc. No. Did anybody >> Come on, you can't again.
>> And there's nothing but totally circumspective evidence. So, if this was just >> Listen, I'm not really great with words either, but I'm not going to pretend like I know words.
>> Your sister was a complicated woman, but she meant the world to me.
>> They wrote him as such a jerk. And Edward Norton, I think, delivered. He would lie for a lie, but he won't lie for the truth. You're still holding on to his titties.
>> He literally controls all of their lives. It's pretty sucky.
>> This is where my jurisdiction ends.
>> Right. He did say that the >> police, the courts, the system, >> right? He he did warn her in the beginning. Listen, this is where his jurisdiction ends. He could just give her the truth.
>> Offer you some courage and a reminder of why your sister walked away in the first place.
>> A reminder of what? Why your sister walked away in the first place? I love how he handed her alcohol.
I love it.
Careful with your toes. That must have been so fun to shoot. It's destroying all this stuff.
>> Hell yeah.
>> Why the hell not?
>> Yeah. Go, Helen.
>> Yes, Birdie.
>> Oh, really?
>> I mean, yeah. You You killed my boyfriend. It must be super cathartic to ruin all of his stuff. I'm going to smash something. We should go to a rage room.
POP OFF. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET for having everything be in made out of glass.
Also, girl, your toes. They must start bleeding.
>> We're not.
>> Girl, girl, girl, you're This This house is running on hydrogen. She's going to blow this PLACE UP. RIGHT.
OH, remember why your sister left in the first place? Cuz of Clear.
>> Helen, walk away >> with a reminder of why my sister walked away in the first place.
>> Oh my god. Girl, girl, you got to be real careful with that. Oh shoot. Yo.
>> Oh [ __ ] >> Y'all are dead.
Boom. The whole place is >> in Denver.
Oh, now he's never going to get that deal with Clear. He's never going to get that deal from investors or whatever.
>> This is a smokeless garden.
>> Disruption.
>> Disruption.
I mean, yeah. This is disruption. You kidding me?
The Mona Lisa is even going down. Oh, yeah. It's not.
She's She's going to hit the fail safe.
And the Monaise is going down, too. And then you're going to HAVE TO TAKE IT UP WITH the lube. Oh my gosh, this is such a cathartic ending. Are you kidding me?
This is like the equivalent of Martya in front of the house drinking the cup saying, "My house, my rules." This is the same. I love it. My gosh, you guys got to get out of this house. Yeah, >> this might be considered a felony.
>> Burn my napkin. I burn your Mona Lisa.
You think you POP ME LIKE A GANGSTER?
NO.
>> You feel better now?
>> Yeah. Your life's over.
>> Your feel of the future just barbecued the world's most famous painting, you dumbass.
>> Yeah, dude. You're done.
>> And you did get your wish to forever be remembered in the same breath as the Mona Lisa.
>> THAT'S SO TRUE.
What a great writing. Who wrote that?
>> I saw the napkin he burned. Yeah, now that you mention it, I clearly saw him grab Duke's gun.
>> So good.
>> I saw him driving away from Andy's house the night she was killed.
>> Oh my gosh. Yes. Finally. Sucks that he had to literally amount to nothing and his worth is penniles that you had to go against him. But still, look at him in his little hat.
>> Did you get the son of a [ __ ] >> Did I? You didn't hear the explosion go off?
Oh, love it. I love how they used the same frame on her face. If you guys remember how how her face was shot, her close-up was shot when they were all admiring the Mona Lisa earlier on in like when she was first introduced. They gave her I'm assuming the director asked her to kind of do a Mona Lisa like smile and then in this ending shot after he goes ready to go home did the same shot of her face kind of giving a Mona Lisa smile. Love that detail from the director. really made this like that much more amazing. Honestly, when I first watched this movie in theaters, I like couldn't appreciate it as much as Knives Out one, I think, because they're two totally different movies. And now after the fact, I almost watching this in 2026, I almost like this one better than the first one, which I think coming out of the theaters, me and my sister, um, when we watched this, we walked out together and we were like, "Yeah, the first one was still better." Like, we like the first one a lot because it's like, you know, when we were going into it, we didn't know anything. But now re-watching both movies in the span of like 2 3 days and doing commentary for them for this channel and having seen both of them now multiple times, I think I like this one better. Crazy take, I know, but I think they're two very different movies. Like the first one's a little bit more sophisticated. It's still quirky. It's still funny, but this one is like the way that they presented it, showing like the twist of Helen and all of that and then yeah, peeling back the layers one by one, but it being obviously Miles and maybe it was obvious that was Miles from the beginning, but to kind of reveal in a way that was exciting and fun and not only that, but giving us so much catharsis at the end by blowing up his home and bringing the [ __ ] down. Like that is everything to me. not just, you know, con leading Ransom to confess to the murder and then like arresting him and then she gets the house and the whatever cuz we already knew that that was her reward at the end for this literally just being brought to the point where we're so mad at him, this idiot, this jackass, and just like so fed up with him getting away with things because he's rich and having the support of all of his little famous friends, you know, but then to bring him down and strip him back down to nothing less than nothing. That moment to me makes this movie so much better because of the cleverness of its writing and bringing our man main antagonist down.
That's like the one thing that Knives Out didn't have. It did have a very very satisfying end, don't get me wrong, but to just like amp it up in this one. And not only that, just making it even more spunky and colorful. The art of it was like very summery and very It's still Who Done It, but like I love all the colors to it. I love how how it had a summer vibe. I love how Benois Blanc's character has more like pizzazz to him and has a lot more, you know, elements to him as well. You can see more of his personality other than just like detective. Um, it makes me really happy this one. Yeah, I think I rate it a little bit higher than Times Out. But what do you guys think? Leave it down in the comment section below what you guys thought about this movie when you first watched it. Did you also kind of think it wasn't as good, but then the more times you watched it, you like it better? Did you hate it out of the get-go? Let me know. Gosh, if you guys made it to the end of this video, thank you so much for watching and um watching this commentary. I know it's kind of sometimes hard watching someone watch a movie that they've seen before, like it not being a pure reaction, but you for those of you guys who enjoy my commentaries, I appreciate you. So, thank you so much. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you guys enjoyed that commentary, make sure you leave it a big thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't yet already so you can stay tuned to all my content. And don't forget to check out my last video. If you guys want to check out the fulllength An Uncut commentary to this movie, make sure you check out my Patreon page and let me know if you guys are interested in me watching the third Knives Out movie. I don't remember what the title was, but I have watched it cuz it it just came out recently and it's probably the one that I remember the most, but let me know if you guys want to see a commentary on that one. All righty, y'all. Have the bestest day ever and I'll see you guys in the next one.
Bye. Okay, bye. Bye. Okay, bye.
