Nox the Owl joins Birds of Prey

[00:00:00]Heads up everyone, meet Knox. Knox is yawning right now, but he's going to be at the World Center for the Birds of Prey just this week for you to see.

[00:00:09]Stephanie, how close up can families get to this bird? Pretty much as close as you are right now, you know, and you're only going to get a chance to see him when he's little once. And so, this is a really great opportunity to see not just an owl up close, but a 4-week-old baby owl.

[00:00:24]>> And what makes an owl such a unique bird? They're nocturnal, right? And so, they need to be able to have all these adaptations to hunt at nighttime.

[00:00:31]They've got excellent hearing to be able to do that, excellent eyesight to be able to do that. They're very different from any of the other birds of prey.
