The dark history of the Sabbath.. what is the TRUTH?

[00:00:00]We as Catholics don't follow or practice the Sabbath in the same way. Okay? We're not Jews. All right? We eat poor. Well, you crazy Catholics change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. No, Jesus did.

[00:00:19]Jesus is the one who changed the Sabbath, fulfilled the Sabbath, and then resurrected on Sunday. If you have a problem with the Catholic Church worshiping on Sunday and you say we change the Sabbath, you need to take that up with Jesus.

[00:00:39]>> I am bound to keep Sunday holy.

[00:00:44]There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the Holy Catholic Church alone.

[00:00:52]The Bible says, "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy." The Catholic Church says, "No, by my divine power, I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week." What is the Vatican?

[00:01:13]It is the priesthood of all of the old pagan religions of Rome, built upon the deception that they are Christian.

[00:01:23]Can man change the orders of God? Can man elevate himself above God? No. Then why did the Pope change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, the venerable day of the worship of the son Osiris? And I'm not trying to insult Catholics. I'm just trying to tell you the truth.

[00:01:41]>> When it comes to the Sabbath, it is something that has been debated in the biblical world for so long. And I think the debates are only happening because people are not aware of history. I told you that the Bible is a historical book.

[00:01:55]And on this channel, we have aimed to prove that from the biblical plagues of the [music] Exodus to Sodom and Gomorrah to Nineve and so many more that we even proved the flood geological and archaeological way. Right? So the Bible is a historical book full of prophecies that has happened in the past and that is happening in the present and that will happen in the future. But do you know the Bible talked and spoke about the Sabbath being an issue long before we even understood it. Bible told us that there will be a being that comes [music] to change the times and laws.

[00:02:32]And not just that, there's just so many biblical prophecies on just the lawlessness that would come [music] from the perversion of the faith. Now, I did a video in regards to synratism. If you don't know what synretatism is, I will pin that video in the comments so that you can watch it after this one. You can better understand the many other ways that the word was switched around and how the faith, the following of the way, has been coined and termed Christian and all it means is a follow of Christ. Yes, but it has been perverted in a way that is unimaginable. How the most high designed for us to follow his word is no longer how we are following it now. We have been in the great falling away.

[00:03:16]Many people are waiting for it to happen. They feel like, well, they're waiting for persecution to happen.

[00:03:23]When I'm telling you, it's just because you don't know history. And it's not your fault. Don't feel too bad about it because school will not teach you this type of history. They hide this type of history. Which is why I've created a playlist called the history they tried to hide. But what is this history you're talking about? Is a history of years of persecution that led to why the world worships on Sunday. We're going to get into what day is really the day of rest and does it matter now? Was it abolished? who changed the times. We're going to also get into the history of that. I will have the resources and sources the description box of the documentary that we're going to be done that's called the seventh day which is phenomenal where they have nothing but experts speaking on just the history of it. So you're not just hearing it from myself but we're also going to dive deep in the Bible. What does the Bible have to say about this? Now, before I get into the Bible part, cuz many of you guys may want to argue that part, I want to show you guys just what great lengths that the enemy went to make the whole world believe that Sunday is the day of worship and to make you believe that the Bible is telling you that it's okay to worship on whatever day. They went through such great lengths that they even lied and pretended that there were letters that fell out of heaven, that Christ changed the day of worship. They lied and created these false miracles.

[00:05:09]They lied and created these false apparitions and used fear to control the masses that were not educated, not allowed to read, and did not have Bibles to believe a lie. They went through such great lengths. And you have to ask yourself, why did they go through this great lens? [music] >> How can men claim that this one commandment has been done away with when they will admit that the other nine are still binding? The Sabbath was binding in Eden, and it has been in force ever since. This fourth commandment begins with the word remember, showing that the Sabbath already existed when God wrote this law on the tables of stone at Si.

[00:05:44]The Sabbath was made for man, not for the Hebrews, but for all men. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, [music] an insignificant town in the region of Judea. During the reign of Caesar Augustus, the Roman Empire held within its borders scores, if not hundreds, of religions and cults. Secret initiations and fertility rights were common, and so was belief in astrology. From Zoroastrianism in Persia to the mystery cults of Greece to the Druidism of Celtic Britain, the Romans themselves admired the religion and culture of Greece. They adopted Greek gods and blended them into their own religions of ancestor worship, emperor worship and sun [music] worship. The Jews on the other hand worshiped only one god.

[00:06:26]Though surrounded by the images of Greek and Roman deities, they served a god they couldn't see. Instead, they had [music] a day. A day that set them apart, a day without equal in any other religion. They had no icons or images to represent him. They had no initiations or fertility rights. a 24-hour period devoted completely to their God. The Jews had the Sabbath. [music] >> By keeping that Sabbath, which was a sign between God and Israel, they were reminded that he was their God and they were his people.

[00:07:00]>> For Jews of the first century, the Sabbath was a time of intense spirituality. They related to God who created the universe in six days and rested on the seventh.

[00:07:09]>> Observance of the seventh day Sabbath was the unmistakable mark of a Jew. It set him apart from everyone else. it it couldn't be hidden.

[00:07:15]>> Here is a people that does not work every seventh day. And the Greeks and Romans had nothing comparable to this.

[00:07:20]>> They would have a wonderful candle lit dinner on Friday night uh often with two loaves of bread to commemorate the mana that fell in the desert in the biblical period.

[00:07:28]>> Outside observers are repeatedly struck by the oddity of the Jewish refusal to do work on the Sabbath day.

[00:07:34]>> When Jesus arrived on the scene, the Sabbath was being crushed under the weight of arbitrary rules and regulations. The rabbis have turned Sabbathkeeping into a meticulous science. They forbad the tying or untying of a knot, cooking, writing [music] more than one letter of the alphabet, the carrying of any burden, including something you might put in your pocket. They forbad the kindling of a fire or the extinguishing of a fire.

[00:07:58]And they forbad travel of more than 2,000 cubits beyond your dwelling place.

[00:08:04]>> By healing the man with the withered hand, Jesus showed the true spirit of the Sabbath. He rejected the rabbis rules. He kept the Sabbath as taught in the ancient Hebrew scriptures.

[00:08:14]>> He did keep the Sabbath, but he did not keep it according to the rules laid down by the Pharisees. And they were afraid that the people would follow Jesus. The nation would become a nation of Sabbath breakers. And this would incur the judgments and the wrath of God, and they would lose their nation. He had all kinds of opportunities to say, "The Sabbath isn't important. Let's get rid of the Sabbath." He could have said the Sabbath was given to Israel and is no longer necessary for people other than Israelites to keep and maybe not even Israelites. But instead, all the controversies that he had with the Pharisees were not about whether the Sabbath should be kept, but how it should be kept.

[00:08:50]>> Some believe the Bible teaches that Jesus purposefully violated the seventh day Sabbath in order to make way for a new Christian day of worship.

[00:08:58]>> Jesus didn't break the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments. He showed what the biblical Sabbathkeeping, the true Sabbathkeeping, really was. What he did was to defy human customs and traditions.

[00:09:08]>> Let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day.

[00:09:14]>> But why would he tell the people to pray that they wouldn't have to escape on the Sabbath? Unless he expected them to still be keeping the Sabbath holy. In fact, throughout the New Testament period, and that takes us to the end of the first century AD, Christians continued to observe the 7th day Sabbath. So [music] then there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.

[00:09:34]>> With those words, St. Paul showed that Christian faith took the Sabbath to new heights. If the first century Christians observe the Sabbath of the Old Testament, why do most Christians today observe Sunday? Jews were the enemy.

[00:09:47]Christians didn't want to be associated with the Jews and thought of as the enemy. So there was strong anti-Jewish sentiment throughout the Roman Empire.

[00:09:54]And the easy way to disassociate themselves was to renounce the Sabbath, which was a mark of Jewishness. Hadrien banned Jews from Jerusalem and prohibited Sabbathkeeping and other Jewish rights of religion. [music] There is solid evidence that Christians in Alexandria were the first to replace Sabbath observance with first day that is Sunday worship. It is in ancient Rome that we find the first description of early Christian Sundayeping. It comes from Justin Martyr. Early Christian Sunday keepers needed a theological justification for keeping the first day of the week. In doing [music] that, they were denying the authority of Christ, who declared himself to be Lord of the Sabbath, the seventh day, and they found it in linking the the first day to the first day of creation. I suppose it was inevitable that elements of pagan worship would find their way into Christianity. Christians were, after all, a small minority in a distinctly pagan world. Reports from the mid- 1st century provide additional evidence of the popularity of sun worship.

[00:10:57]>> The worship of Mithras became very popular in Rome, especially among the military.

[00:11:02]>> We hear about Roman soldiers having come back from the east who pray at dawn facing the east, facing the sun.

[00:11:09]>> The importance of sun worshiing cults in the Roman Empire is shown during the reign of Aurelion who was emperor from 270 to 275 AD. He tried to unify all religions under the sun god. He established a state religion that included the worship of both the emperor and Solen Victus the invincible son.

[00:11:29]Dialesian who came to power in 284 was also devoted to the sun god. He maintained Aurelian's principle of a state religion and even declared himself to be a god. To some Christian leaders it made sense to take advantage of the popularity of Sunday especially since Sunday observance would make Christianity more attractive to the pagans.

[00:11:47]>> That what emerged was a different kind of church, a different kind of state. In fact, the two were so blended together, it was hard to see where one ended and the other began.

[00:11:55]>> The first law requiring people to [music] celebrate on Sunday and rest on Sunday was uh a law promulgated by the emperor Constantine.

[00:12:05]>> Constantine's personal religion was a mixture of Mithraic sun worship and Christianity. He taught all his armies to zealously honor the Lord's day, Sunday, referring to it as the day of light and of the sun. Distinctly pagan terminology. So the first Sunday law requiring people to keep Sunday had no Christian flavor at all.

[00:12:26]>> Did Constantine's Sunday law settle the Saturday Sunday issue?

[00:12:29]>> Christians must not Judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day rather honoring the Lord's day. But if any shall be found to be Judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.

[00:12:40]>> Judaizers were those Christians who did not work on Sabbath like the Jews. In spite of the popularity of sun worship and the Sunday laws of emperors, many Christians continued to worship on the seventh day Sabbath. These pronouncements against Judaizers referred to those who like the Jews refused to work on the Sabbath. This extreme position against the Sabbath combined with a strong pro-sday stance became a pillar of Roman Catholic teaching. In 602, Pope Gregory identified Sabbathkeepers with the Antichrist. He called them Judaizers. It has come to my ears that certain men of perverse spirit have sown among you some things that are wrong and opposed to the holy faith [music] so as to forbid any work done on the Sabbath day. Roman church efforts to promote the Sunday alternative continued. It's clear that loyalty to the Sabbath of the fourth commandment did not die out easily. One novel approach took the form of a letter, a letter that supposedly came directly from heaven.

[00:13:38]>> The letter itself claims to have been written by Jesus. [music] Uh we're told that it appeared on the altar of St. Peter in Rome.

[00:13:45]>> That'll be a pretty convincing weapon of persuasion, especially to the uneducated and superstitious people of medieval time. [music] A letter from heaven.

[00:13:54]Think about it. Who wouldn't want one of those to support their opinions?

[00:13:58]>> Some of the threats in the letter are quite fantastical. Great beasts and locusts [music] are simply waiting to avenge the transgression of Sunday.

[00:14:06]Hailstones. There'll be flying serpents in the sky. So basically a whole lot of evil and destruction is going to occur if people violate the law of Sunday.

[00:14:16]>> Better to reform your Sunday observance than to risk the terrors of supernatural plagues and catastrophe. To the naive medieval mind, these threats of miraculous punishments must have sounded terrifying. Epistle of Jesus clearly supported the rulings of church councils and the declarations of the popes. But it stood in direct conflict with the Sabbath law. Epistle of Jesus belongs to the massive body of apocryphal literature and that's to say not canonical not part of the Bible. This letter from Jesus shows how determined medieval Roman church leaders were to replace the biblical Sabbath with Sunday. Except in a few isolated areas, the church controlled access to the Holy Scriptures. For the most part, the common man depended on the priest for his understanding of the Bible. were remote places where the scriptures still existed in the language of the peoples.

[00:15:09]>> In the mountains of northern Spain and Italy and southern France, there are entire groups of individuals who are legendary for their resistance to the power of Rome.

[00:15:17]>> There were very courageous groups who resisted [music] church authority and persisted in keeping the 7th day Sabbath.

[00:15:23]>> People like the Albagenes, the Cathari, the Pasaginis, and the Waldenes.

[00:15:27]Opponents accused the Cathari and some of the Waldenes of teaching that Christians should keep the law of Moses to the letter, including the Sabbath commandment. The church state establishment had the power to impose its will even by force of arms. It did not hesitate to use persecution and coercion. The hierarchy of the church very strongly opposed u the Bible being available in the vernacular to the average lay person because this would um circumvent the role of the priest.

[00:15:57]>> The church felt they had the authority because they were infallible and had been given that right by God. The lards on the other hand believed that ultimate authority was in God through the scriptures. The church of Rome lashed out against all of those who believed that scripture held authority over the church.

[00:16:12]>> [music] >> A severe persecution broke out and this persecution was made possible primarily because of a very close relationship between the church and the English government. Religious institutions have a sad record of resorting to force when the powers of persuasion fail. This seems especially true when church and state unite. Alphonso Menddees, a Jesuit priest, arrived in Africa as the newly appointed patriarch of the Ethiopian church. With Menddees urging him on, Emperor Cisenus issued a proclamation requiring his people to work on the [music] Sabbath. A violent wave of protests swept over the land. The people rebelled. They refused to give up their traditional religion. A bitter civil war. There were thousands of casualties.

[00:16:56]>> Facilas, one of his sons, [music] talked to his father, Susinius, and said, "Look at how many people you have killed. They are our people." He convinced his father that what he did was wrong. From now on, he said, "You are free to worship the way [music] you want." Even today, the observance of the 7th day Sabbath together with Sunday [music] is common in Ethiopia, the nation with the world's longest history of Christian Sabbathkeeping. Pope Gregory the 9th established the Medieval Inquisition back in 1231 to protect the Catholic world from heretics and religious rebels. It was a devastating weapon.

[00:17:35]Simply put, it got results.

[00:17:38]>> The heretics of this age are trying to overthrow the authority of the church.

[00:17:43][music] But it is the church after all that has authority over the scriptures.

[00:17:47]It is the church that points us to the scriptures and declares them to be divine. They claim to make the sacred scriptures the foundation of their faith and explains them faithfully when they are difficult to understand. The Sabbath, the most glorious day in the law, has been changed into the Lord's day. This has not been done by the command of Christ, but by the authority of the church.

[00:18:12]>> Now that you understand the history that's not going to be refuted, let's tackle why the Sabbath. Here's a point that the Most High revealed to me. The Most High revealed to me personally with the Sabbath that it is a stamp of his authority. Because as you have seen from all the historical videos that we have done on this channel that throughout the ages from the Babylonian age, the Greek, the Roman age, now we in the age of the United Nations, America etc. we see that there has been many deities that is worshiped in the east as well as in the west all over the world that is attached to creation. There's many creationist stories and if you study religion, you know that every religion has a creation story. They all have a flood story as well, but they all have a deity or gods or a number of gods that are responsible for creation chaos. There's a god of the air, god of the sea, god of this.

[00:19:10]There's multiple deities [music] for each act of creation. But we know us, the follower of the way, the follower of the Bible. We believe in one God, which is the one biblical God, Yahwh. Right? And even now, there's a lot of you that want me to do a video on his name. And I'm telling you, have patience with me somewhere. Like, I'm getting the emails. I know it. I'm working on that video. There's just a couple that I have to get out the way, okay? But we're going to really dive deep on how they change his name. Now the most high does not ex does not punish us for what we don't know. Okay, he does not. He sees our innocence even me. When I would call on a name that was not his, of course, he still came through for me because I didn't know.

[00:19:55]Though there are many that worshiped on Sunday and they were worshiping according to the knowledge that they had and spirit and it in [music] the truth.

[00:20:02]But once he revealed himself to them, he revealed the true day of worship. He revealed his name. Now it's up to you with new knowledge that's revealed and you understand the scripture better to decide what are you going to do. He's not going to punish you for what you don't know. So of course there's power even in that name because that's what you know. That's all you know and you're calling it in sincerity. That's all you know. Right. But he revealed to me that Kareem the enemy's goal from day one was to discredit creation that it came from the most high. [music] Right? And what is the mark of creation? What is the seal of creation? Yes, we talk about the Fibonacci sequence and God's fingerprint, etc. We've already discussed that on the channel. But his seal of completion for creation is that he rested on the seventh day. Not because he was tired because he does not get tired. He rested on the seventh day to be an example for us to show us that if we keep that seventh day and we remember to keep it hollow that we are directly telling the world that this is who we serve. Us resting is a sign to the nations to the world that this is our God.

[00:21:14]This day is marked to this God. And the seventh day was here way before the Israelite nation cuz we already know who the real Israelite is. We did a video on that as well. I know all of these documentaries and clips show you these white people and [music] you know who's there now. We already know the facts here of the history. They don't try to they don't really teach us which is in the playlist. So come on with me now.

[00:21:39]Okay, stay with me. All these nations attributed their worship. There was a time where the very fabric of the clothes that these other nations wore, the patterns that were in them were for these deities that they worshiped. Their jewelry had uh symbolisms of the deities that they worshiped. Which is why Jacob told his house, "Remove these foreign gods from you," which was the earrings and jewelries cuz they had the symbolism of these deities in them. Right? The day that people worked, worshiped, travel, etc. was attached to the deities that they worshiped. So the way that Israel was a nation that was set apart was attached to the day that they rest. But it was not made for Israel. This was in the beginning of time. [music] Before the Bible even tells us that Adam was created, the first man was created.

[00:22:28]He told you that the first person to rest on the Sabbath day was the most high, not man. [music] And this is how we show reverence to him as creator. And we show allegiance to him as creator is by resting on that seventh day as well. And remember that when he told Israel, he gave Israel the ten commandments. He said, "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. In it, you shall do no work." He said, "Remember because it was already [music] there." It was already there. And we're going to break down how the Sabbath was already there. was already common sense, but it was for men. Men in apostasy and rebellion turned away from that.

[00:23:12]But for those that say it's an Israelite thing, no, the Sabbath was there before Israel was a nation, before the the the thought of Jacob. And the Sabbath will be there in his return when he says in each Sabbath, we will worship Sabbath with him in the new kingdom. So, we know the Sabbath will be there even after the end of this world. So, how can it be abolished, [music] right? And I'm going to use the term Christian, but y'all know how I feel about that word. We're a follower away, but for the sake of this video and those that are new here, I'm going to keep everything basic. Okay? If a Christian believes that scripture is the highest authority, then the question is simple. What day did Yahweh sanctify?

[00:23:57]And did he ever revoke that command?

[00:24:01]The Sabbath existed like we said before Israel. The Sabbath was not created at Mount Si. It began at creation itself.

[00:24:08]In Genesis 2:2 to3 it says, "By the seventh day, God had finished the work he had been doing. On the seventh day, he stopped the work he had been doing.

[00:24:16]God blessed the seventh day and made it holy because on that day he stopped all the work of creation." Notice that.

[00:24:23]Notice what happened before that word used. Before Moses, before Abraham, and before sin entered the world, Yahweh did three things. He rested. He blessed the seventh day. And he made it holy. The seventh day became holy because God declared it holy, not because Israel later observed it. Marriage was established in Eden before Israel existed, and Christians still recognize marriage as a creation ordinance.

[00:24:48]Likewise, the Sabbath was established in Eden as part of God's created order. So how can you accept marriage at the beginning? Why was that not abolished?

[00:24:59]We still acknowledge marriage cuz that came from creation. He blessed it. It was two things that he blessed. He blessed the Sabbath and he blessed marriage. We keep marriage but we don't keep the Sabbath.

[00:25:11]The second argument that I want to challenge is the fourth commandment points back to creation. When God gave the ten commandments, he did not introduce something new. He told Israel to remember the Sabbath. Remember the day of worship by observing it as a holy day. The reason is that in six days [music] God made heaven and earth.

[00:25:29]Therefore, God blessed the day of worship and made it holy. The command itself reaches back to Genesis. Israel did not create the Sabbath. [music] Israel inherited what God had already sanctified.

[00:25:41]In Exodus 16, weeks before the Ten Commandments were spoken at Mount Si, God gave Israel mana. They were instructed to gather twice as much on the sixth day because no manner would fall on the seventh. God then asked, "How long will you refuse to obey my commands and teachings?" That's in Exodus 16:28.

[00:26:00]This shows God already expected Sabbath observance before Sinai, right? This was before Si when he gave them mana because the ten commandments were not given yet.

[00:26:12]Right? When he gave them mana [music] and he asked, "How long will you refuse to obey my commands and teachings? So that shows you the Sabbath was been a thing that he even instructed them on how to collect it. H and one of the most common arguments is that that Christ abolished the Sabbath.

[00:26:29]Yet Christ himself said, "Don't think that I have come to abolish Moses's teachings or the prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them." And that's found in Matthew 5:17.

[00:26:39]And some say, "Well, him fulfilling them is him abolishing them." No, abolish is abolish. fulfilling is fulfilling. He came to complete it, right? Just a few verses later, he adds, "Until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter or stroke will disappear from Moses's teachings until everything is done."

[00:26:57]That's Matthew 5:18. The Ten Commandments, not one tit will be removed from it. Do you understand?

[00:27:08]We keep all the other commandments except the Sabbath. Heaven and earth are still here. We're still [music] here.

[00:27:15]Christ fulfilled the law in the sense of bringing it to its fullest meaning, not abolishing God's moral commandments.

[00:27:22]And Christ also kept the Sabbath.

[00:27:23]Throughout the Gospels, Christ consistently attended synagogue on the Sabbath. As was his custom, he went into the synagogue on the day of worship.

[00:27:30]Luke 4:16. He his disagreements were never about whether the Sabbath should be kept. They were about the Pharisees traditions. He healed on the Sabbath. He allowed acts of mercy on the Sabbath. He declared, "The son of man is lord of the lord of the day of worship." Mark 2:28.

[00:27:47]A lord governs something that still exists. He never said the Sabbath was ending. And yes, the Pharisees become too much like most people in the church do today. Right? That's why I say don't follow what people are doing. Follow the word cuz even Christ himself came and you would consider Israel as the church.

[00:28:03]He rebuked them for how they distorted the word. They made it a burden for people. There's a lot of preachers.

[00:28:09]They're insufferable because they're adding their own laws, their own mysticism into the word and burdening the people. We talk about that even with men. They always want to scream makeup and this and that and use Jezebel putting on makeup, right? We we did a whole video on that. Um with women in the Bible, which I'll pin that in the comments as well. uh we we go deeper into that but they'll talk about that but they forget how Esther also wore makeup [music] but they'll use Jezebel as reference but God was pleased with Esther who also wore makeup that the Israelite women wore makeup and they say oh it's from marine sphere everything you could say even this phone that you're listening to this message from you could argue if you're going into the mysticism world came [music] from marine spirits, Wi-Fi, all of it, cars, are you going to throw away your phone?

[00:29:07]Are you never going to drive? But they'll stick on one thing, right, to be a source of oppression for others.

[00:29:14][music] And that goes with many other things. That sometimes as followers of the word, we do too much. We do too much. And we broke down a lot of what Paul was saying in a historical um way as well in that in that video where I would even on this channel I get a lot of people men and women as well. You'd be surprised mostly women that tell you girl you should not be teaching this.

[00:29:38]You should shut up according to the Bible. And it's unfortunate because that shows you have not read the Bible [music] and you don't understand. That video is pinned there too. That's just a tidbit to go into it. how for ages men have been adding to the laws that God gave [music] us. That's not biblical.

[00:29:58]And the Pharisees were doing that.

[00:30:00]People couldn't do anything on the Sabbath. And Christ was like, "Wait, that's not my intentions with the Sabbath. The Sabbath was not intended to be a burden. It was a day of rest to be with family, to do good, to be happy, to praise and worship the God that you serve. honor it by not working and doing heavy burdens on it where in the beginning people received it fully and [music] joyfully but they made it a burden.

[00:30:30]H the apostles continued observing the Sabbath after the resurrection. So how could it have been abolished? Many assume the apostles immediately switched to Sunday. The book of Acts tells a different story. Paul regularly preached on the Sabbath. [music] In Acts 13, it records Gentiles asking Paul to return the next Sabbath rather than the next day. In Acts 17, it says, "As usual, Paul went [music] into the synagogue."

[00:30:56]In Acts 18, it says, "Every day of worship, he held discussions in the synagogue. Every Sabbath, he held discussions in a synagogue." If Sunday had become the new holy day, Acts never records the opposite teachings that [music] change. There is no command anywhere changing the Sabbath to Sunday.

[00:31:13]He would have told [music] us that the New Testament mentions the first day of the week several times. None of those passages command Christians to keep Sunday holy. Examples include women visiting the town on Sunday, believers gathering for a meal on Sunday, Paul traveling on Sunday, setting aside offerings at home on Sunday. But never did it say this is the new day, even resurrection day. Not one passage says the Sabbath was changed, Sunday replaced it, or the first day became the new Sabbath. Such a command simply does not appear. The Sabbath points to freedom and redemption. Deuteronomy gives another reason for Sabbath observance.

[00:31:52]Israel was to remember that God delivered them from slavery. Likewise, believers today remember both creation and redemption. The Sabbath celebrates that God is both creator and redeemer.

[00:32:04][music] The Sabbath remains in the future kingdom.

[00:32:08]Isaiah looks beyond his own lifetime to God's [music] restored creation. From one new moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all humanity will come to worship me, declares God. And that's in Isaiah 66:22-23.

[00:32:22]So he's telling you from one Sabbath to another, all creation will come and worship him. If the Sabbath disappears at the cross, why does Isaiah describe it being observed in God's future restored creation?

[00:32:33]>> [music] >> The Sabbath begins in Genesis and appears again in the closing chapters of Isaiah. What about Colossians 2? Many argue Paul abolished the Sabbath in Colossians 2. However, the context includes food laws, festivals, new moons, and Sabbaths. And Peter already told you that a lot of people who are not educated misunderstand Paul and twist his words. A lot of people just read the New Testament. Y'all don't read the Old Testament. Y'all ignore it cuz it's too hard to understand and you don't understand what it's talking about. Whatever. again, not understanding history. So then you take the New Testament and run with it and then you don't understand what Paul is saying. But Paul is not getting rid of the law. He backs it up. If anything, you got to understand and speak within cultural context and within context of the Old Testament as well. Cuz he quotes the Old Testament a lot. So that means the Old Testament was not abolished. The Old Laws were not abolished cuz Paul quotes it a lot. And we can do a whole study on Paul himself cuz he is the most misunderstood writer [music] in the New Testament. But this echoes the Old Testament ceremonial calendar, right?

[00:33:38]Many Bible scholars understand Paul to be referring to ceremonial festival Sabbaths, not the weekly Sabbaths established at creation. There was a thing called weekly Sabbath which is the 7th day rest. But these festivals and ceremonies as well that the Israelites had were called Sabbaths as well cuz there were days that were set apart for a specific purpose.

[00:34:02]But the translations and the word use, people run with it and just put it as the weekly Sabbath and misunderstand it where you have preachers that are saying Jesus is my Sabbath rests. [music] Popular preachers and people run with that lawlessness regardless of one one's interpretation. And Colossians never say the 7th day Sabbath has been transferred to Sunday. Paul still never said that.

[00:34:25]He still never said that.

[00:34:28]And God forbid dare I say. Even if Paul were to say that, what did God say?

[00:34:35]He never said that. Christ never said that. None of the other apostles. If it was just only Paul that said that, Peter never John never said that who wrote Revelations.

[00:34:45]James never said that.

[00:34:48]>> [music] >> So none of the other apostles backed that up and they continued with the Sabbath. And Paul was a Hebrew as well.

[00:34:57]So where would that have come from? What about Romans 14? Romans 14 discusses disputes over personal fasting days and matters of individual conscience.

[00:35:07]The chapter never mentions the weekly Sabbath. Paul is addressing optional observances. Not one of the ten commandments. Not one of the 10. The ten commandments will be here until the end of time. [music] All of it. Cuz I was the finger of the most high that wrote that. He does not change the early historical shift to Sunday. Where did it happen? As we showed you in the earlier clips, right? The historical record shows that the earliest Christians included both Sabbathke keepers and Sunday worshippers. People were still worshiping a thousand years after after Christ died. The Sabbath. [music] People were still worshiping on the Sabbath years after his death.

[00:35:47]So they never changed that. They died for it. They were persecuted for the Sabbath. Y'all don't know that cuz history won't teach you that. And again, it's not your fault. They just don't teach us. I had to go find this information, too. Over the first few centuries, Sunday gatherings became increasingly common, particularly among gentile believers. In AD 321, Emperor Constantine issued a civil law declaring on the venerable day of the sun, let the magistrates and people residing in its cities rest. This was the [music] first empirewide Sunday rest law. And there's a lot of people waiting for a Sunday law that already happened. They already persecuted people for worshiping on the Sabbath. This has already happened that was prophesied about that the Bible say would happen twice. What are people talking about? There's a lot of prophecies. This why I say on this channel a lot, people are going to be bamboozled and shocked when they see the sky split open. I'm telling you, cuz there's a lot of prophecies you're waiting to happen because you don't know history. You don't know that it happened. I did a video on Babylon.

[00:36:48]Babylon uh uh um on Revelations where I showed you guys the history. Many people were shocked. They didn't know that, oh wow, this prophecy was fulfilled.

[00:36:58]They're still waiting for a prophecy to happen that was already fulfilled.

[00:37:03]Y'all going to be shocked, but there was a Sunday law. People were burnt at the stake, beheaded. They had to go into hiding. They eradicated a whole group of people because they refused to worship on Sunday.

[00:37:16]Y'all go look up the witnesses, the Visigoths, and all of them. Go look up these people. There's groups of people that no longer exist because they refuse to worship on Sunday.

[00:37:32]All right. There was a Sunday law. In subsequent centuries, church councils increasingly discouraged or prohibited Sabbath observance while promoting Sunday. It was illegal a crime. You got arrested and beheaded. They didn't care if you were a child. There were children that died. It's gruesome. Too gruesome even for YouTube. What they used to do to even children that worshiped on the Sabbath.

[00:37:56]Is that the spirit of the most high? If you see they're going through such great extent, such great lengths to make you worship on a day that's not biblical, you got to ask yourself, who's be what force is behind that?

[00:38:10]What force is behind that?

[00:38:13]These people tell you straight up from their own mouths that it's by authority that we change the day of worship.

[00:38:22]The Catholic Church gave themselves the authority to change the day of worship.

[00:38:28]It's not biblical. They have admitted that once said, "Take it up with Jesus."

[00:38:33]H the Roman Catholic Church has openly acknowledged that scripture does not [music] contain an explicit command changing the Sabbath from the 7th day to Sunday. Y'all can go look up their own words and not say Karine said. Go speak to your local Catholic priest. They'll dance around it for you because you don't read the word for yourself, you're going to buy it. [music] But but go ask.

[00:38:56]Catholic writers have historically argued that this change reflects the church authority to regulate worship practices. Some Christians point to this as evidence that Sunday observance rests [music] on church tradition rather than the explicit biblical command. Regarding the claim that Sunday was adopted specifically to worship the son god, it is true. The Roman world already associated the first day with the sun.

[00:39:22]And we talked about that in my synretatism video. My hope is history.

[00:39:25]They tried to hide. So I'm not going to stay focused on that even on the Catholic videos that I've done already.

[00:39:31]But they wanted to merge. That's what synretatism is. Check out that video.

[00:39:36]Wanted to merge pagan worship along with the Bible to make it easier. But they perverted the whole message. There is a deity that they actually do worship. It ain't Christ.

[00:39:48]It's not Christ. The 7th day Sabbath forms a remarkable thread running through scripture. It begins our creation. It is written by God's own finger in the Ten Commandments. It was honored by Christ. It was practiced by the apostles. It is never explicitly revoked. It appears again in the prophetic visions of God's restored creation. John wrote about it in Revelations. If scripture alone is our authority, then the burden of proof falls on anyone claiming that God's holy day was changed. And the Catholic Church told you scripture is not authority.

[00:40:21]They [music] are they are the final authority.

[00:40:27]So you decide what are you going to follow the word or them? And forget the Catholic Church cuz now you have Protestants every everybody worships on Sunday.

[00:40:35]And you tell them something they call you legalistic, they call you a heretic.

[00:40:40]This is not an Israelite thing. This is not a 7day Adventist thing. This is a biblical thing.

[00:40:48]The Bible records God blessing only one day of the week. He blessed one day of the week. It records no verse unbing it.

[00:40:56]He never said, "I am no longer blessing this day." It records no command sanctifying another day. He sanctified that day.

[00:41:05]And I'll go even further as to tell you that endocrinologists, there's science now that backs up that our bodies, our bodies [music] rest on the Sabbath day, whether we want to or not.

[00:41:21]That's why the weekends, you'll see the weekends starting from Friday night to Saturday, no one really is in the spirit of working. Even if you have to work, you're depressed, right? [music] You look forward to the weekend, right?

[00:41:33]Your body naturally shuts down. Science has [music] proven that the very atmosphere of the earth itself, our atmosphere [music] changes on the Sabbath, the air, everything.

[00:41:50]They geologists like, man, there's just so much research. I just can't put in one video. So, in the future, I'll do a video on that alone.

[00:42:03]that nature testifies of the Sabbath.

[00:42:05]Creation testifies of the Sabbath.

[00:42:09]It is us man that doesn't want to acknowledge it.

[00:42:14]We're rebellious and want to do our own thing. And I'll leave this as the most compelling argument yet. Have you prayed and fasted [music] in regards to this habit?

[00:42:25]Or is it just comfortable for you to not observe this habit that you don't even pray and fast about it? You rather go hear a pastor explain it to you and lead you astray.

[00:42:38]Have you read scripture yourself and ask for guidance? I would implore you to do that and choose today. Are you going to observe the doctrines of men or the doctrine that never changes?

[00:42:52]Pray and fast about it. Don't take my word for it. Let conviction lead you.

[00:43:18]And you notice that this Catholic bishop said, "We're not Jews.

And this is why I did a video on clean eating, which I've been in the comments, too, where I had a lot of people were very upset and annoyed with me. But I'm like, that wasn't abolished either. The dietary loss that wasn't abolished. The composition of the po pig did not change. The DNA of the pig did not change because Christ died. [music] It did not. A pig is still a pig. People were very offended by that. And I showed you guys the evidence of the parasites, etc. The Catholic Church did that, too.

[00:44:11]They made it a crime for you not to eat pork cuz you were a Judaizer if you avoided from eating pork and shrimp and all of these lobsters and all these filthy [music] animals. They made it a crime. People died because they refused to eat pork.

[00:44:32]Again, y'all misunderstood. We talked about what Paul said, too.

[00:44:37]Cuz y'all misunderstood what Paul was saying, too.

[00:44:41]But this is their argument against because the lust of of flesh. And this is uncomfortable. If if you're new to all of this, this is uncomfortable.

[00:44:50]But it depends on what spirit you're listening from. I know a lot of people I received a comment that I I pray about it. I really do. Somebody said, "Man, it's hard to listen to your videos cuz it sounds like you're lecturing in a self-righteous way, a a lecture, like you know." [music] And I hate that it comes off like that cuz I really do pray over these videos. And [music] I'm shocked that stuff that I even say when I say them cuz I know it's not me speaking and I let the Most High speak.

[00:45:19]And I always say [music] pray that you don't see the person speaking. If you're convicted, you're convicted. My feelings had to be hurt multiple times. These videos hurt my feelings as well.

[00:45:34]Sometimes I'm speaking and I'm and I say I'm preaching to myself first cuz I'm convicted. But I'm not I'm not self-righteous or judging you. I learned I give my testimonies and how I used to eat how I disregarded his law too. But you got to pray that you always watching stuff with the spirit of I want to grow.

[00:45:55]I want to know truth and grow.

[00:45:58]I unfortunately cannot move forward on this channel babying everyone's feelings and all the victims that are upset just constantly watering things down.
