Surprise Q&A Livestream!Added:
Okay, I'm pretty sure I set this up right. Let me know if the music is too loud. Um, okay. I think that my microphone is connected. Uh, there is a bit of a delay. I have it on my phone just to check.
Um, yeah, I have not done this in a hot minute. For those of you new, I used to do Q&A's like every now and again. Um, but I don't know. I was feeling chatty this morning, so why not? I know that uh this might be a smaller Q&A group because a lot of people are at school.
Um, but again, I just I felt like doing a live stream and saying hi and Boots back there.
Oh, is he he might be hunting me. I hope he doesn't hunt me cuz that he likes to do this thing where whenever I look away, he'll move towards me and um then I look back and he freezes like a weaving angel essentially. Uh it's it's very scary. It it is horrific.
He has the zooies. Anyways, um let me read chat here. This will be kind of like a uh a mix between me answering questions and like kind of elaborating a lot on questions and then just like looking back and forth at chat. I'm not very good at live streams.
He's crazy right now. I'm not very good at live streams. Um but I'm going to do my best. Anyways, let me know if the music is at an okay volume. It is Stardw Valley music. So, okay. Let's read the chat here.
Hello. Hello to everyone. Hi.
Oh, thank you. I tried to make my hair look nice this morning. Um he he's just he's jumping everywhere. Uh but yeah, I don't know. Um I don't he he is on something right now.
Anyways, do you ever think you'll do a 100 days with Oregon? I have had so many Pacific Northwest requests. Um, yes, I will definitely do the Pacific Northwest in general. Um, if not more specific places, but yeah, I'd love to.
Okay, let's see.
I am doing well. I'm doing well. How are you all doing today?
I don't know. He's he's normally like this maybe an hour of the day total. Of course, he chooses now to be, you know.
Anyways, um yeah, my cat's name is Boots. Um named for his little his little white boots that he has. He's about to have his first birthday this summer. Um he's very sweet most of the time. He also likes to bite me a lot. So anyways, um you don't hear the music much at all.
Okay. Uh, let me let me turn it up just a little bit. Hopefully this doesn't like bring up my Spotify.
Not that really matters. Okay. Anyways, so American State did Oh, wait. I scrolled too far. Did South Africa.
That's another very highly requested one. Um, and like look, I there are a couple that I know are highly requested.
Japan is my most requested one. Uh, but a lot of these are going to be very big scale videos, especially as I up the quality of these videos. Um, this year, starting with Tasmania, again, we can call it seasons if you want, right? But starting with Tasmania, the quality, I'm really trying to to bring it to as high as I can. And it's been like on par with Y1. So, okay. Um, Budapest, probably not because it's a city. Um, I don't do uh any, you know, city stuff really. I might visit towns.
Um, Rio was kind of the exception, but I didn't even go into Rio de Janeiro. I just kind of looked at it from afar, and you'll see a lot of that kind of stuff where I look at cities from afar. Um, but it's just too much in terms of like having my builders go in and do that.
Uh, budget-wise, I don't have the budget for that. And also, we can't really survive. you know, the survival aspect is uh is gone in that. Um let's see.
There's so many so many uh inquiries.
This is so new cuz the last time I did a live stream, I I was not getting this many questions. I know my channel has has definitely grown a lot. Um okay, I'm going to shy away from reading the suggestions now or the, you know, recommendations. Um, and I'll answer just more specific questions or just more general questions are fine, too.
But I'll um because I know everybody wants their location to be covered. Of course. Of course. I I totally get that.
Um, let's see.
Okay.
Yeah, let's um we'll try to I know there there are a lot of questions here. Uh, so try to stop spamming or like if you uh if you have a place that you really want recommended, just say it once or twice. I'll see it. He's underneath my my blankets.
He is What is he doing? Okay. Anyways, anyways, bro, love your videos. I watched them with my husband. Oh, that's very nice.
How old are you? I am 22. I am 22. I'm a March March baby. Um, so yeah, I uh I feel old even though I know I'm not. Everybody tells me I'm not all the time, but 21 was a fun one cuz like obviously, you know, you turn 21, that's a big deal in the States. Uh, 22 just makes me feel old. Not a fan. Um, okay.
So, yeah. Uh, throw some questions my way that, uh, might not necessarily be related to like, hey, can you cover this place or this place? Cuz look, I I see all of your recommendations. I do try to read every comment. On some videos that is harder uh because some of these videos do like crazy well, which I don't expect. I I can never guess what video is going to do well other than Texas. I knew Texas was going to do well. Um but I can't really ever guess. It's It's always a fun little surprise. Um okay.
You want me to get a pet giant anteater?
Um I think I I definitely covered that.
That might have been the Choco region of Bolivia where I covered the giant anteater. Trying to remember, but yeah, I've definitely covered them in the past before. Um, but I think that that'd be a fun companion to have for sure. So, okay. Um, oh yeah, I've died many times during these videos. Not so much um as of recently, but I just restart. Uh, I remember the worst one.
the worst way. And this is an unlisted video now. Uh Norway, back when I did Norway, I died five times within the first 10 days. Um but now I'm just I'm a little bit better at Minecraft and surviving. Uh so it doesn't happen nearly as much anymore, thankfully.
Thankfully. Um but it is always super stressful when I come across the folklore because those are big surprises. I don't really know all of the abilities or all the different damage levels that they're going to do.
Um, and my devs like to like to throw some fun little things in there sometimes. Um, so that's why you might see me be like, you know, I shy away from them sometimes because I don't know what to expect. All right. Um, let's see what else do we have. Hello.
Hello.
We have so many so many inquiries. All right. Give me a second. Give me a second. Um, okay.
Yeah. Well, if you if you keep spamming, I'll I'll put you in a little timeout. I don't want to have to do that. Okay.
It's not It does not give me joy to put you in a timeout, but I might have to.
Okay. Um, all right. What else do we have going on? Been here since the start. Yeah, I love that. That's awesome. Um, that's very awesome. I appreciate your your loyalty. All right.
Any dream countries I would like to visit in real life. Okay. So, all right.
I I'm going to put I'm put this person in timeout.
We'll do we'll do 10 minutes.
I feel so bad doing that. I just, you know, it's it's fine. Okay. Uh anyways, back to the questions. Dream countries that I like to visit in real life. That is a tough one. I know it's not my country, but Tasmania. I would love to visit Tasmania. Um, a lot of the places that I cover I just become fascinated with. I I definitely want to visit. Um, as for countries, that is really difficult. There are so many places. So many places. Um, I had a dream last night that I was in Patagonia down in Chile. Um, I would love to visit for sure. I don't know why I had that dream. It was so random. I'm I'm not That's not the next video. It's just like I had I had that dream. Um, that's also another requested one though.
That's so difficult. I you know, you asked the wrong person because I kind of want to visit every place I can, right?
Especially with this channel. So, um, but yeah, we'll we'll we'll go with that as my answer. Well, actually, we'll go with Tasmania. Even though it's not a country, we'll go with Tasmania. I really want to see Tasmania. Okay. Um, let's see. Favorite crypted that I have faced. That is another tough one. Um, my devs do such a good job. They they really do. Uh, their design is their all their designs are really, you know, they hit it out of the park. I really liked El Muerto's sort of uniqueness. Um, seeing him walk down that road was just so cool. Like that was such a such a cool thing. Um, so I don't know. Maybe maybe El Muerto. be I'm sure I'll think of another one later, but for now I'll go that one. Um, okay. Would you ever like to visit in real life one of the locations that you've covered in FPS?
Okay. Yeah. Um, and why Romania?
Okay. Yes, I would like to visit Romania as well. I want to visit everywhere, right? But yeah, all these places. Um, with the Mariana Trench coming out next week, uh, and by the way, let me know if it's like laggy or anything. I I don't really know how this how this is going.
Um but okay, so with Mariana Trench coming out next week, I found that I am fascinated by the islands. Um the islands are are truly just one of the most interesting places I've covered. Uh the trench itself is really cool. Of course, you have amazing wildlife down there, but I would love to check out the Northern Marana Islands and Guam. Um, great history, ancient history, World War II history, and then just the culture on those islands. It's fascinating. Um, really, really interesting. I I had a Chammoro voice actor who is in this video and she helped me with the research and the pronunciations and everything. Um, but just hearing about a lot of the stuff like the the festivals, um, the I love the architecture. I'm always a big architecture person. All of that fascinating. Okay. Um, I'll I'll try to answer these a little bit faster because I I feel like I'm going to take so long on each question. Um, are you a part of the map building? What's your favorite part when you have to prep? Okay, that is a good question. Yeah, so I make all the landscapes myself. Takes me about a week, sometimes a week and a half. Um, but that's like, you know, the mountains, rivers, anything landscape related I do. Um, I'll do a good bit of the builds sometimes, too. Um, yeah, for Mariana, I did all of the builds that you see except for the actual trench itself. Um, but yeah, I I I definitely am very involved in the mapmaking. Um, my favorite part is the landscaping because I'll throw in documentaries of the place I'm covering.
I'll have my music going and I'll just be making the landscapes. I use Google Earth. um a couple other tools to just kind of like get the uh mostly I'll have an u an overlay right an overlay of the map so then I can carve around it and have everything right. So yeah, anyways, um, favorite companion, favorite destination or stop? Okay. All right. Favorite companion. H, I've been asked this before and it's such a hard question to answer. Um, Gary's a classic all the way back from Alaska. That is the one that that's the video that like made my channel, you know, start doing well. that made me realize, hey, I want to do this as its own niche, you know? So, Gary's great.
Gary's great. Um, trying to think of like companions with character, like with attitude, cuz so many of them just like seem to go against Is he sleeping under?
Okay.
Uh, a cheat answer that my favorite companion is Boots. Um, but okay. Yeah, you all give me like your favorite companions because I need to just jog my memory on some of the ones I've had. Um, okay.
Oh my gosh, I am so far behind in chat.
I'm so sorry everyone. I I'm taking so long. Okay. Um, let me scroll down a little bit.
We have another Ireland spammer. That's crazy. It's crazy.
Y'all really want Ireland, huh? Um, for Ireland, I I would actually want to see if I could go there in real life and do some in real life segments cuz one of my best friends, he lives in Ireland.
Um, whenever I travel, he joins on the on the trips. Um, but yeah, he lives in like the really scenic part of Ireland, too. Um, by the coast. Okay. Of all the animals I've covered in these videos, uh, which one is my favorite?
H, of all the animals I've covered?
Some of Okay, the answer to that isn't necessarily because they're my favorite animal, but because of the segments I can build around them. Um, I really enjoyed the Chavski's horses segment.
Uh, just having them all run up that field. I thought it looked really cool.
Um, but like all of the animals I find I I find most of them to be equally as interesting. Um, I want to try and cover more insects in the future. I was thinking about that earlier. Like I don't I don't really cover those enough.
I feel like that'd be fun to cover. Um, okay. Let's see.
Um, are you afraid someone will see your videos and think that Walmart would go hard there like on the shore of the Amazon?
Yes. Yeah, that's big concern of mine is when they see the the landscape like Walmart would look really good right there, you know, if only. Um, yeah, filming for Mariana Trench, that was that was tough. Uh, so I'll let you all know something really quickly. This isn't like a big, you know, I'm not trying to keep this a secret or anything because I will go more in depth on this next week in the announcement part because I don't think I'm going to have a sponsor next week. I'll just like do an announcement. But I'm doing membership videos soon. Um, and they're actually premiering with Mariana Trench.
Um, that way I can cover more uh more like small adventures, right? Smaller locations and actually be able to cover more in general cuz I want to cover as much as I can. Um, I want to keep it as as like financially viable as I can, but it's mostly just to help with the budgeting of these videos because these videos are expensive. Um, but with that being said, I I brought that up because the first membership video that is releasing alongside Mariana Trench was actually scarier to me than the Mariana Trench. And you'll see why when you see what it is. Um, but Mariana Trench to me, it's so voidlike. You don't actually get into the trenches until you get to the Hadel zone, which is the last zone of the ocean. It's named after Hades.
Fun fact. Um, but yeah, I mean, I also trenches are definitely scary, but I watched this interview with James Cameron, the director of Avatar and Titanic. He has gone down to the Challenger Deep. He's gone to the Titanic shipwreck like 30ome times. um him talking about the safety requirements and why the ocean gate thing happened and all of that stuff. It actually made it seem a lot safer. Um and you'll watch the 60 Minutes interview if you're interested in that.
Um okay. Anyways, like honestly the scariest thing in the world to me would not actually be going to the bottom of the trench anymore like in real life if I was in his submersible because his is like you know foolproof.
Anyways, um have I watched Heated Rivalry?
Okay, you know what? I have not watched Heated Rivalry. That's um that's a funny question. Going to going to move on from that. Okay. Uh next next timeout here for Ireland part two. Okay.
Anyways, uh, okay. Let me scroll up a little bit.
Oh my gosh, I I I'm like so far behind in the chat. I'm sorry, everyone. Um, what got you into doing real world places 100 days? Uh, okay. So, yeah, I tried YouTube for a while. You know, I really wanted to do YouTube Minecraft related something or other. A while back on this same channel years ago, uh I did travel videos that were kind of poorly edited. I was just getting into editing and they weren't really that good. Um but like I did one on Petra. I did one on um Cartahana to Indas in Colombia. Uh but like they weren't good. They were not very good. Um but I always wanted to do something with travel as well.
Minecraft is the easiest thing for me to to use for that for sure, but I love travel. I I save up and anytime I save up, it's to travel, you know. Um, hi Boots. Okay, how do your team meet each other? Um, thank you. Yeah, uh, my team is excellent. Every member of my team is excellent. Uh, they most of them reached out to me. I reached out to like a few of them, but most of them reach out to me and you know once you work with them for like a project or two then you get to know their skill sets um kind of their general vibe and all of them are just so incredibly talented. Uh so yeah.
Um do you play any other games in your free time? Not really. Not really. Um most of the time that I'm on my computer I'm working on these videos. I I will occasionally play Civ uh Civilization, maybe Fasmophobia. If if I ever play games with my friends, it's normally Fasmophobia. Um but outside of that, I I try to like I try not to stay up too late working on this cuz that's that's not good for you, you know. And I also don't like that my office is my bedroom.
Um I'm moving soon and I will actually have my own office, so that'll be nice.
Um but yeah, I I normally just play Minecraft. I wouldn't even say it's like playing Minecraft. I mean, it is, but at the same time, it's all in service of these videos. So, okay. How do you choose which country to visit next? I try not to do the same continent twice in a row. I always try to make a note of that. Um, but it's it's a couple different things, right?
If I need uh a lot more budgeting wise, like if I'm running dry financially, then I will choose something that I know will have like a bigger viewer base, right? not so much a niche country. Um, so like Texas was a good example of that. Uh, Texas I was like, "Okay, I'm going to need a big budget for the next couple of videos, so we'll do um we'll do one that's going to be a big one for sure." But I try not to let that sway my my choice too much. But at the end of the day, these videos are very expensive, so I have to I have to be careful with that. Um, but outside of that, it's really personal interest. Um, and also I I do read the comments. I do.
And if my personal interest aligns with the comment, then that's the place picked out right there. Um, let's see.
Do you live alone? Uh, no. I have a roommate. Um, and I'm about to be moving to a place with a different roommate. Uh, oh, the red panda. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ah, what what was the red panda's name? That was Himalayas. Um, started with an F. Okay, continue. Um, let me keep going down a little bit.
Oh my gosh. Wow. We We are really spamming. That's crazy. That is crazy.
Yeah. No, no spamming, please. Okay.
Um, hello. Hello. Love my last video.
Thank you so much. Um, yeah. Why is Ireland of all the places? Why is it Ireland? That's a spam topic. That's crazy. Flambo. There you go. Okay, let me scroll up a little bit. Let me see.
Uh like 1800s Wild West cross country travel. Um yeah, that that would be pretty fun. Uh definitely like a Wild West vibe would be nice. Um choosing places within specific time periods is difficult because I want to I want to achieve accuracy on every level that I can within reason.
It's Minecraft, of course. Um, but historical aspects just add that extra layer of work to do. Um, but you you will definitely see some some period pieces in the future. Okay. Um, okay. Boots. There any foods you wanted to try in one of the countries that you've covered? Um, oh, hi Stixs. Um, also Stixs, I saw your message. I completely forgot to reply to it, but I'll reply to it after the stream. Um, any foods I Oh, okay. All of the foods.
All the foods. This one with the Mariana Islands, um, it looks really good. And when I gave it to my dev, uh, Dragon, he was like, "This looks so good. I am actually so hungry right now." Um, I I'll let it be a little surprise. But yeah, uh, definitely that. Um, the one in Madagascar, I don't know why I can't think of the name, but that one that one has has always stuck with me. Um, okay.
Will you remake some of your older videos and locations? Um, it's difficult. The unlisted ones, yes.
But ones like Alaska, I would definitely I'll I'll cover Yukon, you know. Um, I Hey, I might I might even cover the Yukon River itself, which will lead into Alaska. I I I think about my uh Denali that I made in Alaska all the time and just how awful it looks compared to the landscaping that I do now. Yeah, I think about that.
Um okay, let me see.
Okay, I'm not going to read any of the questions above there. Um let me see any newer ones.
And we'll probably do this for another I don't know 30 minutes, you know, because I do have a lot of work to do today for uh this upcoming video, the video afterwards, and the membership video.
Lots of different projects going on. Um okay. Yeah, alert me to any spammers, please. Uh because I'm a little bit behind in chat, so Okay.
Um let me see.
Uh yeah, I'm not adding anyone on Discord. Um I don't really like Discord.
I that's like why I got rid of the server all that time back ago. It was like forever ago. Um I don't like people having that direct access to me. You can email me, you know, always feel free to email me. Um but yeah, I I just don't like having I don't like people having direct access to me. That's why I also don't have an Instagram for the channel.
Not my thing. I I don't like that. Uh, I don't know. I I just I like I think comments are perfect because it's a it's a perfect amount of distance because I am a pretty private person. Like I like my private life. I don't I never want to be and like this is I know I'm obviously not there, but I don't ever want to be a celebrity. No, not at all. I want to make videos and have fun, you know? This is what I'm doing. I love making these videos. I That That might be why I don't do live streams as much, but I don't know. I just I like having my own separate life. Okay. Um let's see.
Uh I keep I keep falling behind. This is fun. This is like a a proper a proper stream. I like this. Uh okay.
You want You want me to do a 200 day video? Hm.
I'll try to think of like a way that I could do that in the future, but that would just be so much work. I mean, look, so many of these places could warrant a 200 day video. Absolutely. Uh I I have to cut down a lot of of locations. Like, let me see if I can show you guys my Tasmania. Um, by the way, I have the next location out on my book right here, and you all can't see it. So, haha. Anyways, um let me go back to Tasmania and see if I can find the places I had to exclude cuz I write down all these places and then I'll have to like eliminate them as go like, "Oh, I can't include this. It's just I don't have enough time. I want these videos to wrap up at a nice, you know, 2our length, which is longer than what they used to be." Um, so yeah, Hastings Caves was one in Tasmania. I don't know if maybe I'll show you all this. This is kind of how I do it. I have this book here and then I draw a map and then I list out locations. This map isn't very good.
This is back when I was first doing it that way. Um, my newer maps are much much better. So, anyways.
Okay. Uh, I I'm taking too long answering the questions. So, okay.
How am I balancing college with these videos? Yeah. Um, I'm doing my best. I'm doing my best. Uh, college is college is college, you know. It's fine. I mean, I thought I was going to enjoy it more, but at the same time, like this is my focus right now because the channel has done so well. So, this is my focus. Uh, and this is going to be great for any future jobs I want to get relating to this field cuz look, I will make these videos for as long as you all watch them within reason, right? Sure, I'll want to move on to bigger things someday. Um, but there's so many places I still have to cover and it would be a shame if I didn't end up covering a good lot of these places I want to cover. So, and that you all want to see me cover, right? Um, yeah. Ask Ask questions. Ask away. Uh, okay. Let me see. Okay, you're moving my monitor boots. All right.
Let me I I'll try to answer faster.
What's your go-to gamer snack and beverage? Um, I don't really eat at my desk, but I do have coffee all the time.
I love my coffee. Um, yeah. Nothing too interesting there. Uh, okay.
We thoroughly enjoy your content, pros, for not using Discord. Yeah, I just I don't know. Not my thing.
Thank you, Sticks, for moderating. Um, yeah, definitely not my thing.
Discord is great for my team. Like, I have a server that's just my team and we like go back and forth and stuff. That's great. I don't need it for anything else. I play uh games with friends on Discord. Don't want it for anything else. Um, yeah, you can email me. I I see my emails that you guys send me. Email me away. I don't care. Um, I can't guarantee that I'll respond, but yeah, email me. All right.
Do you have problems with people recognizing you from your videos? No, because I I don't really have my face in my videos that much. Um, so yeah, no, no one's recognized me. And if that does happen eventually, cuz I'm I'm sure like, you know, the channel's only going to grow. If that does happen, I don't mind like, you know, saying hi or whatever. That side of things, I don't mind in the least. It's just like I don't I don't like having to sift through lots of messages and stuff. And I I don't like people having access to.
I don't know. It's It's like a I like my privacy, you know? That's the main thing. I just like my distance, my privacy. Um, but who knows? Maybe maybe I'll accidentally end up a celebrity just by continuing this channel. But I don't know. May May well um it's tough.
It's tough because I want to keep showing my face for sponsor segments or like uh you know announcements. I love doing that stuff, you know. I want you guys to see me. Um but yeah, I think that'll probably be the limit of it.
Okay. Um let me see.
Yes, my content is definitely familyfriendly. I do not swear. Um I keep it, you know, accessible for the whole family. So yeah, definitely go for it. Uh, I do have some scarier aspects in my videos sometimes, but it's it's all within Minecraft. So, it can only get so so scary. And if I do discuss a uh a potentially, you know, um, a mature topic, I will give a content warning cuz I have to do that with this next video with one of the locations in Saipan. Um, if any of you know history of the islands, you'll know what I'm talking about. I give a content warning, but it I I will always tell you like what it pertains to, right? Okay. Um, let's see.
How many of these countries have you been to and how many planning? Okay. I I want to travel to as many places that I can. I try to leave the country at least twice a year. Um, this most recent year it was Spain and the Bahamas. Um, Spain was great. I loved Spain. And also, it matters who you go with, too. Um, and then I I really want to cover I'm going to get to China on the channel. I will. Um, but that that's going to be a big passion project of mine cuz China is what got me into travel. Um, it's my favorite place I've ever been to. I love love love China. Um, the scenery, it's just unreal. I took Chinese for 3 years after after going there. Um, I got to see Shian, Shanghai, and Beijing.
Amazing cities.
Amazing cities. Okay, let's see.
Um, I again, I'm I'm so behind, but I'm I'm doing my best. Thank you all for being patient. Um, okay, let's see. Would you consider doing more streams or possibly some behind thescenes videos? Yeah, I've thought about that. I've really every time I open up World Painter and I start making the landscape, I'm like, "This would be such a good like u I don't know sort of background thing for someone to watch, right?" Because while I'm doing it, I talk to myself a lot. I do. I'm like, "Okay, so I can see that the mountains are here. There's a river that cuts through them. Um we want to go with like a nice texture for this, blah, whatever." It's like Bob Ross essentially. Um I'm like, "That would be great." But it kind it's hard because the time in which I do that is so early on in the production process that it would spoil the location I'm covering.
So, I don't know how exactly to do that.
Um, if any of you have any ideas, hit me with them, please. Um, but I really do think that'd be a fun thing to do. Okay.
Um, let me go down a little bit.
Let me see.
Oh, Boots is asleep right there. You guys can't see him, but he's like right there. Okay. What is my favorite snack?
I don't know if I have a favorite snack.
Um H I like to make pasta.
I don't know. I I'm I'm boring. I don't really I don't have a favorite snack or like Well, okay. I do have a favorite food. Avocado. all day, every day avocado on anything. Okay. Um, what's my favorite fish?
These are these are very uh specific questions. Okay.
Well, if we're if we're talking in the context of the videos, one of the ones in this, of course, as be the Mariana Trench because has crazy cool fish. Crazy cool fish. And again, my devs did an amazing job. Um h that's so that's so difficult. You can't you guys can't make me like choose things. That's the whole point of a Q&A.
But anyways, if I were to choose any fish, um the snail fish is pretty cool cuz it's the the lowest recorded living fish. That's pretty cool. Okay.
Um your nephew is weird. loves math, history, and spooky stuff, then yeah, I'm I'm sure that you love my videos.
Um, got lots of spooky stuff. Uh, cuz folklore, a lot of it inherently is spooky. I don't have a lot of math in my videos. Sorry. But yeah, I don't I don't love math. Even though like I I took all these advanced math classes and for what I used to want to be a compsai major, just for context, switched out of that a while ago. Um, not my thing, but okay. Um, liking privacy is completely valid. Yeah. I don't know. It's just like every time I go on TikTok or any of these apps, I see all this information about these people that I don't want to know. I I feel like it just shouldn't be out there, you know? I don't know.
I don't know. Um, let me see.
Stixs is working overtime over moderation. Thank you, Stixs. I appreciate that. Okay. Uh, let me go.
Do my adventures have a pattern or is it just random? Um, I I do like to stick to certain um archetypes, I guess, with like uh you know, mythical creature hunting videos or endangered species or um zoos, right?
I know that a lot of people like the zoo ones. Uh so I I do often have like a very general outline that I'll then refine as I go through the process. So yeah.
Most terrifying moment in any of my videos.
I think Transylvania is up there with the Stregoy down in those in those uh caverns. It It was catacombs. Yeah. Um that was pretty scary cuz that was such a scary design. That thing was awful.
Awful. Uh yeah, Transylvania's up there and it was also like Halloween so like it had the spooky atmosphere. So yeah.
Um, okay.
Let me see.
Let me scroll down. And just so you all know, I see your recommendations. I won't be like responding to will you do this video or X, Y, and Z. Um, just cuz there's so many of them, you know? I I can't respond to if I respond to one of them, I'll have to want to respond to all of them. Uh, introvert or extrovert?
Probably introvert. Um, I don't know.
It's weird because like live streams make me I don't know feel like I'm not great at live streams, but I really like presenting to people who are like in front of me. I I'm great at that, but I don't know. Um definitely more introverted outside of that though. I like to keep to myself. Um okay.
Unless unless I'm around the right company. That's important too.
Okay.
Yeah, thank you. Sticks.
Uh, all right. Let me scroll down a little bit.
Okay. Do you find it more interesting to cover big or very recognizable places or small and not very known places? No, I totally get what you're asking. um that that's tough because both can be true, you know, but at the end of the day, I do really like finding these niche places. Like Tasmania is a great example. I I've brought that one up a lot because that one stuck with me. Um doing the research for that video was so interesting because most of these are most of these locations within Tasmania I had never heard of. Most of you hadn't heard of unless you're from Tasmania.
and looking at just how sort of untraveled they were, you know, and then recreating that. I love that. I I just I love doing that. Like Strath Gordon, that's like that's the end of the earth, you know, like no one's there and it's fascinating. I love that. Um, but then again, like some of the uh I I have a word for them. What what would I call them? Like premier locations like uh Texas, you know, that I know are going to do well because people have been requesting it. And I totally get that.
Those are fun, too. But they're also a little bit more like the pressure is on me, you know? Whereas Tasmania, I can take my time, kind of relax a bit while I'm making it. With Texas, I have expectations to meet, right? So, I'd say overall, I do enjoy the more niche, small locations more. Um, and when I choose those locations, like the ones that are very like you never heard of them or you haven't heard much about them, um, it's always because of personal interest, right?
And you'll you'll see that when uh when I get into the next few Canadian provinces and territories. Um Canada is Canada's great because you know I can cover each individual province. They're all unique. Uh but some of them just fascinate me truly. Okay. Um let me see.
Yeah, definitely quality over quantity.
You know, I used to uh I used to upload a little bit more frequently. Um, it's kind of I've spaced it out a little bit more, but I don't have a choice. I mean, I do I do, but I'm not going to sacrifice quality, you know, that that's the choice at the end of the day. Um, so yeah, these videos are taking longer, but I think you all are happier with the with the final product anyways, right?
Um, and I, you know, I just I I have a standard right now that I really want to meet with each video. So, yeah. Okay.
Um, let me see. Will there come a time where you discontinue this series and move on to something different? Yeah, but hopefully not for a while, you know?
Um, I definitely want to move on to bigger things eventually, right? Uh because at the end of the day, I enjoy making these videos a lot, but it's also kind of hard for me to be like, you know, I don't know, this this is going to sound weird, but I I can't be fully proud of them all the time because it feels like it's it's just Minecraft, which I know it's it's much more than that to a lot of you, but to me that I don't know that that is difficult for me, right? Because I'd love to do a real life travel series. Um but it's also it's just one of those things. Oh, but I I know that that isn't really even a correct statement. It's just how I feel sometimes. So, unfortunately, um, but I would like to continue this for as long as I realistically can. Again, within reason, right?
Okay. Let me see.
Let's scroll down a little bit. Um, uh, okay. Tik Tok, Insta, Snapchat are the worst apps.
Yeah. Um, that's just social media, you know. I like YouTube I actually don't have that much of a problem with. And obviously I might have bias because I do YouTube, but I really haven't had much of an issue with like, you know, watching stressful stuff. with uh the scrolling apps, it's a lot harder because you scroll, you'll see something and you'll be like, "Oh, that catches my eye." Even though like it's like watching a car accident, you know, which if you see a car accident on the side of the road, you're be like, "Oh, well, that's that's gruesome." But then you look, right? It's just like stressful content on TikTok. It's the same exact stuff. Tik Tok has caused me so much stress like looking at stuff and it's just like people yelling and whatever, but then again, everyone's feed is different on all these apps. I just I don't know. I I go through so many bad phases like deleting Tik Tok and then I'll redownload it the next week. It's I know we all have trouble with that. Um okay. Is it too gruesome to do places known for their traumat traumatic past like the uh Donner Pass? That's the one out west, right? Um they mention it in the opening of The Shining. Uh I wouldn't cover a place as small as that for sure, but that is something that I would maybe add as a point of interest. Um, I'd maybe do a a content warning prior, but yeah, I I I've done stuff like that before. Like we we've covered some darker things on the channel. Um, because history, so much of history is inherently dark, you know, and we do have to talk about uh events that aren't fun to talk about. But again, that's where I feel limited sometimes because it is Minecraft and I never want to portray these these events in a way that um where the weight can't be felt at all. Right? because some of these places are heavy, you know. Um, and I'd feel awful to misrepresent them in any way. So, okay, let me see. Uh, um, let me see. Lots of flags in the chat like that. It's fun.
Since you love horror movies, have you seen Obsession? I have heard I I've like heard non-stop good things about that movie. I need to go and see it. Um I'm waiting for my roommate to get back and then we'll probably go and see it. Uh but yeah, I really want to see that that movie. Um I I'm I'm very intrigued. Very intrigued. It's it's rare that horror movies have this sort of unanimous praise like that. Right. I'm also excited for the Backrooms movie. Very excited for that. Um that is one of those games. I know there's so many back rooms games out there, but I played the uh the multiplayer back rooms one a while ago. I forget what that's called.
It might just be called the back rooms, but yeah, really fun game. Okay. Um, hello. Hello. Thank you. Thank you very much. Um, would you ever consider having someone on your team wear a cryptic crypted or folklore outfit and tracking you as the Oh, that's kind of a fun idea. Um, you know, if the folklore calls for it, that could be that could be good. Something maybe with a human intelligence. That would be really good. Yeah, I like the idea. Okay. Um, do you watch any Minecraft content creators? Um, I used to watch Mumbo Jumbo in Korean.
Outside of that, not really. Uh, I don't watch a ton of YouTube. I know I said that YouTube is a platform that gives me like the least problems with social media stuff, but probably because of that. I just don't watch a lot of YouTube. Um, I don't know. I watch a lot of like uh restaurant reviews. I like that stuff.
That's always fun. Uh, lots of cooking stuff. I'm watching Top Chef right now.
Not on YouTube, but just, you know, in general. So, um, let me see.
Scroll down.
Is there any chance that you would play any other games in your channel? Uh, no chance. Probably. Not in this channel at least. Um, I've thought about maybe maybe streaming on Twitch, but I don't love streaming. Like these Q& A's are are few and far between just because I don't love streaming. But now that I'm doing it, like I'm having fun, but it's always like I don't know. It's the anticipatory sort of nerves that I don't enjoy. Um, okay.
And let's see. It is 12:47.
We will probably go to like 110 maximum.
Okay. All right. What do you think about YouTube content like Mr. Beast? And would you want to be in one of his videos?
I'm indifferent. I don't really want to be in any of his videos. I don't want to be in any big YouTubers's videos ever, you know? I don't know. Um, unless it's like someone like Mumbo Jumbo, like someone chill, right? I have nothing against Mr. Beast. Nothing at all. You I respect that he's done his stuff. I don't like his style of editing. Um, but it works for his channel, just not for mine. Like uh when I was first working with Tom, who is an amazing editor, by the way, amazing editor. I was so picky about my editing.
So so picky because it's I have I need it to be done in a very very specific way. I don't know how other hardcore YouTubers edit their videos. I don't watch them. I don't know how they edit them. But um I had a very specific vision for my videos. Tom's been great, but I remember telling him off the bat, opposite of Mr. Beast. I don't want those quick transitions. Nothing like that. Um, but again, I got nothing against them. So, all right. Uh, what's your favorite Minecraft YouTuber and who inspired you to do YouTube? Uh, no one really inspired me necessarily. Um, I remember way back when I used to watch this channel called Sam and Colby when I was in middle school in high school.
Loved their channel, but they didn't really inspire me to do YouTube. It's just always been something that I thought would be fun. Um, I loved making videos and I've always wanted to do something with film, but then everyone wants to do something with film. You know, it's a very oversaturated market.
So, YouTube is just an accessible way for me to do that. Uh, but for a favorite Minecraft YouTuber, yeah, probably Mumbo Jumper, right?
Hermitcraft, that's where it's at. Um, okay, let me see.
Oh my gosh, I keep I keep scrolling and then it'll go to the very bottom and skip all of the most recent questions.
Um, let me see. Why haven't you tamed your animal companions? Um, because most of them, there is a good chunk of them that either cannot be tamed, um, especially if they're custom mobs, right? Or, uh, to get items to tame them, those items are very rare or just not in the world at all, right? Um cuz these are custom maps. So if it was like a new world that was, you know, um like uh automatically generated by Minecraft, it would probably have these niche things that I need in order to tame them. Um but yeah, it's I would like to tame more of them to be honest with you because it makes it easier for them to follow me. Um I don't have to worry about like leads are the most annoying thing in the world. I hate using the leads. I really do. Okay.
Um let me see. Is your roommate part of the team? No, my roommate is not part of my team. Um, recent subscriber here. I'm not sure if anyone asked this, but what got you into doing your travel monster animal hunter series? Um, yeah. So, I just travel is always going to be at the forefront of it. I love love love travel. Anything relating to travel.
It's not just the act of traveling. It's kind of the look at history, culture, landmarks, wildlife, all of it. I love all of that. My favorite class I've taken so far in college is anthropology, you know. Um, absolutely love that field of things. And so, it's just the the easiest and not even the easiest, it's just the best way for me to sort of vocalize that, right? Okay. Let me see.
Let me Okay, I keep I keep skipping over all these um Smitty is Minecraft. Mr. Rogers, I appreciate that. That is that is a a compliment.
That is so that that's such a very nice compliment. I appreciate that. Um, okay.
Hello. Hello. Um, yeah, Stixs Stix is right. Uh, I used to do uh Disney uh I used to like do recreations of different Disney parks and stuff. Um, one of my closest friends, his name is Alfred. He lives over in Sweden. Uh, I met him because I was doing 3D models on Fiverr for Minecraft. And he was recreating Disneyland Paris. And so he was hiring me to make 3D models. Anyways, we became really good friends. And then my first trip abroad that was, you know, not with my parents or family or anything, I went to Paris and I met up with Alfred and we went to Disneyland Paris together. So, it was a very nice like full circle thing. Um, but yeah, I used to I used to do very different content with that kind of stuff. It was fun. Um, okay.
Oh, thank you. Thank you for uh for all of the uh the compliments. Is your hair strawberry red? It's it's definitely the lighting. Um, yeah, I have I have some like harsh white lighting from this end.
So, I don't know. It's definitely not definitely not red. Okay.
I would love to see you in an Apollo TV video. He's done so much lore in his Minecraft videos and it's done so well with other YouTubers involved sometimes.
Yeah, sure. Something like that would be fun, I'm sure. Um, I wouldn't say no to that, just depending on how much time it would take on my end because unfortunately these videos, and not even unfortunately, I love making them. Um, the most annoying process or part of the process is recording actually. Uh, but I'm very busy with these videos for sure. Um, and outside of that, I want to also be able to, you know, live a life and and have fun and, you know, enjoy my life, right? Um, which is something I it's so hard to balance. It is because I will get so work focused that I'll be like, I haven't even like done much of anything today other than work. I need to go out and do things. Um, very very important for anyone who's in a similar situation, you know, go out, go do things, right? Let me see. Um, Um, will you ever do a video on the country, state, province where you live? Would it be a birthday special? Um, yeah. Yeah, I I I could see that working. Um, Stixs is right. Maybe I have. Stixs knows where I live.
Stixs Stixs and I uh we we've known each other since sixth grade. Yeah, we have the same name in real life. It was It's very funny when teachers would call on us and we'd both look over. We always We love that.
Isn't that right, Sticks? We loved that.
That was so much fun. Um, anyways, absolutely love how dead pan you sound in your videos sometimes. Makes him really fun to me. Oh, yeah. Thank you. I don't even like I don't try. That's just like I don't know. I I I am very sarcastic in real life. Um, yeah. I don't know.
Why on earth were a lot of older videos deleted? Um, yeah, it's just it's really because, okay, a couple of reasons.
Quality is one of them, right? But those videos, they weren't deleted, they were just unlisted. Uh, you can find them in the retired videos folder or playlist.
Um, and they were uh unlisted for inaccuracies.
Not really glaring inaccuracies, but ones that I just couldn't I couldn't really sit with. Um, for instance, Norway was unlisted because Spalbard Spalbard is the reason it was unlisted.
um Swalbard for for those of you who don't know it's very up at the top of the world. It's a part of Norway but it's all the way up at the top of the world and um I include that in the video but I I didn't do enough research on it and this was what like a year and a half ago. This was a long time ago. Um but Swallbart does not have trees because of the perafrost and I included trees.
That's stuff that I just can't really I can't sit with that. So, um, okay.
What if you can do a water base in one of your videos?
How about you tune in to uh to Mariana Trench?
Just Just going to throw that out there.
Not spoiling anything, just throwing it out there. Um, how old am I? I'm 22. Yeah. Yeah, I'm 22. I I do feel, as I mentioned earlier, I know that's young, but I feel old. I don't like it. Um, will you ever recreate the retired 100 days videos? Uh, yeah. So, that is something that I would like to do. Like ancient Egypt was one of them, right?
Yeah, I'd love to redo that in the future. I know a lot of you would love to see that. Norway, same thing. Um, Norway, I would probably do it in the modern era. Uh, when I did it, what, like a year and a half ago, two years ago, it was in the 14th century, I want to say. Um, so yeah, I don't know. Just cuz time period stuff is is is always so difficult. It really is. So much more uh research goes into that. Okay, we have about 15 more minutes in the stream uh before I have to I have to end and do some work because I have to be responsible. I have to, you know, balance my time. Um, do you think any of the future videos may include foraging/mushroom hunting in unique plants? I love the idea. Just like with the uh insect stuff I was talking about earlier, I want to include more insects, right? And I would love to include more plant life. Uh I'm trying to think of good places that would sort of suit either of those ideas. Um but yeah, really really like that idea cuz that's just as important.
You know, we we need definitely talk about and cover those things as well. Um okay, computer specs. Um that is a good question. I don't really know to be honest with you. Uh I have an Alienware Aurora R1. Okay. It is been with me for maybe four years. Uh I I run Nvidia something or rather. Um but yeah, I I had to get new RAM recently. That was fun. Um and I got the wrong RAM and that was really annoying. So I had to go back get the different RAM. So, that's always fun. Uh, but yeah, it's it's nothing like crazy. It's nothing crazy. Um, I just think that it runs it really well for for what it is, but sometimes I do run into performance issues. Um, especially when there are a lot of trees involved for some reason. Uh, but, you know, using Distant Horizons is it's going to do that. It just is, you know, but in the future, I'll upgrade my PC for sure, uh, once I have that in the budget. But, yeah. Um, let me see.
I have caught up with chat. I have caught up with chat finally. That's right. Um, what was my next video?
That's a surprise. I have it right here.
I was writing the story for it uh this morning. I have I have it like halfway written, but it's right here, the map and everything, and you all just don't get to see it.
Is that mean? Nah. Oh well. Anyways, uh, let me see.
Um, why not let me have comment? Yeah, because you're spamming. You can't spam.
Don't spam. Okay. If you ever complete all the countries, would you ever do fictional cities or planets afterwards?
I have seen a lot of comments about that, like maybe the Star Wars planets, right? And I would love to do that, but it's just not in my niche. I think I could cover them well and in the same sort of, you know, format. Um, it's just not my niche potentially. I don't know.
But yeah, just not not really suited to this channel.
Okay, let me see.
What do I do in my free time? Um, I will read. I will go hang out with people. Um, I travel when I can, but that that takes up a good bit of free time that's normally like, you know, a week and a half where I have to take that off from doing this stuff. Um, there is a place I do like to go to nearby here that's just like very chill. Like to hang out there.
Love museums. Um, museums are like my Look at this American Museum of Natural History. Best museum ever. If it weren't for all the screaming kids, um, I I went on a school day. I should not have done that. That was a bad choice. I was just sitting there trying to look at all the all the cool wildlife. Um but yeah, I got this though at the uh this is like the fourth floor I want to say. They have a little like fossil shop. So yeah.
Um okay. Good night Smitty. I've been asking this question. Would you add the axelottle mob as an animal to find when you're doing Mexico? Um also how'd your base look in the trench? You'll have to you'll have to wait and see about the trench. But yeah, I could definitely look the axelottle. I'll definitely cover that with Mexico. Um because it's so, you know, specific to that area and it's nice because I don't have to get a mod for that one. Minecraft already has that. So that's fun. Um last place I went to for vacation that was Spain. Uh I went to Spain in January. Um went with one of my very close friends here in the States and then my Irish friend, he hopped over and joined us. It was a great time. Went to Madrid, went to Toledo. uh two other small um cities in the in the countryside. Great time. It was snowing there. It was really cool. I bought a really cool long coat that like I I wish it was more cold where I live.
Um because it's it's so stylish. It's it's very stylish. I love my long coat.
And I even had like a little black scarf. It It was definitely the move. I looked so stylish and cool. Um cuz that you know what? If I'm going to go to Europe, I'm going to dress up and look cool. Okay, that's that's what's going to happen. Um, whoever posts bloopers, uh, maybe, maybe. I don't know. I like these videos being more like in the uh the cinematic field of things. I'm not saying that bloopers are anti-cinematic, but it's just like, okay, when you used to go into Blu-ray for like Pirates of the Caribbean or something, they would have a separate section where you could choose bloopers. It wasn't like they were included in the movie, you know.
Um, unfortunately, you don't really have that choice of YouTube, but maybe maybe.
Uh, I think that'd definitely be more of like a behind the scenes kind of thing, though, which I would love to do that in some capacity in the future. So, okay.
Um, how do you feel about a multiplayer video? Yeah, so uh when I do Ireland, I would love to have Oshene join cuz I met him playing Minecraft. Um, and like I I he had some mutual friends as well. Uh, but yeah, I'd love to do that. Um, it would be hard because I would want to do multiple perspectives edited together, but yeah. Um, how does it feel to be peak?
you you all are are very kind. I appreciate that. Okay. Um, love your videos. My girlfriend shows her students your videos when they have free time. That is very sweet. I love that. I love that. That is that's what keeps me doing these videos, you know, just knowing that like uh people are are growing up with them and and learning from them. I really love that because like yeah, it's just I think the more you get to know about the world, the more perspective you can have on the world. And that's such a valuable thing.
Like it the world is a fascinating place, but we're also so small. Like individually, it's a huge world out there and people don't really realize that sometimes. Um, okay. What other games do I like? Uh, favorite genre. Um, okay. We'll we'll kind of do it. We're We're coming up on the 110 cut off point. Um, okay. Mostly Fasmophobia civilization, I guess. But yeah, I don't really play a lot of other games unless my friends really want to play games.
So, oh, Geogesser as well. I also do the Wordle every day. So, um, make sticks the crypted in the next video. Yeah. Okay. I like the idea. Um, let me see. I'm going to scroll down a little bit. I've answered a few of these questions um earlier in the stream.
Uh, how big would it be if you somehow stitch all your maps together and make us a map of the Oh, that would be just like impossible. I'll tell you that. Um, I I've been pushing the limits of what my computer can handle with uh these recent maps, so it would be huge. It would be ridiculously big. Like uh maybe 300 gigabytes worth. No, probably bigger than that to be honest with you. Um, let me see.
Uh, what is more annoying or difficult to deal with in your videos, hot or cold climates?
H, cold, because wool is harder to find than leaves. With hot climates, I just have to find shears, right? Iron, um, and then leaves and I'm set. Or I can like duck beneath like a a coverage.
Cold climates, not nearly as as easy. I have to find wool or I have to dig way down and hope that that works. Sometimes it doesn't, you know. Uh and also if I get in the water, that can also, you know, make me start freezing too. So definitely cold. Okay. Um your videos are sick. I love them. Could you do some UK videos featuring Stonehenge and stuff? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'd love to do some more UK stuff. Um definitely.
That's that's my heritage. My my dad is British. Um, so yeah, I mean I'd love to do England as well. All these individual places.
Uh, okay. Let me see. Yeah, for everyone going to sleep. Good night. Good night.
Um, learn about I love learning about different countries and cultures after watching your videos. Thank you so much.
Well, thank you for watching, you know.
Um, I really appreciate that. I just I love I love making these videos and I get so interested and invested in each place that I cover. And I'm not just saying that. I really do. I have to spend so much time with each location that I don't really have a choice but to be interested and invested in them, right? Um but yeah, it's it's a mutual thing. Like you guys love watching them.
I love making them. So um okay, 106.
I'll I'll answer these last couple questions here. Um how long does it take you to complete a video? 3 to four weeks total. More on the side of four weeks as of recently. Um is there Discord server?
No, I got rid of that one a long time ago. Not a fan of Discord. Um, what kind of music are you into? Personally, I like jazz. Funny you say that. I like to play jazz when I uh when I am working sometimes. Um, but outside of that, my favorite band is the Smiths. I've always loved the Smiths. That's thanks to my dad. Um, I also like I do like a lot of uh a lot of 80s music. Very much like that. Um, let me see. Do you ever get discouraged when one of your videos gets less views than you anticipated? Uh, not necessarily discouraged. It's difficult, right? Because I can never predict what's going to do well and what might not do well. At the end of the day, I am happy with how all of them have performed. Um, because I just remember back to like 2 years ago when I was getting I was happy to get a,000 views.
You know, I was like, "Oh my gosh, 1,000 views, that's crazy." Uh, so getting, you know, or having an underperforming video, the only way that that is frustrating is budget-wise because again, these videos are expensive.
That's why I'm doing membership content um, starting next week. But it's not so much discouraged because at the end of the day, I had a great time making that video. And at the end of the day, I have a core audience of I I've like I've looked at it roughly like 40 to 50,000 people, right, who will watch a video that might not do well, but those people still watch that video and they still love that that content. That's more people than I can really realistically fathom. So, at the end of the day, enough enough people love these videos and I love them, too. So, um let me see.
Let me go down here.
You being part British makes so much sense. I'm seeing it now. Yeah. Mhm.
I've gotten uh Jonathan Buyers a lot from Stranger Things. Um which I don't know how I feel about that. I don't don't think he's particularly attractive. Uh I've been told I look like a more hydrated version of him, which thanks, I guess. Um but yeah. All right. Uh are the videos on YouTube actually the first try attempts? Have you died during recording and have to restart? Yes. Yes, the the latter. Yeah, I've died during recording and definitely had to restart many times. Um I mentioned this earlier, not so much as of recently because I've gotten better, you know. Um the last half year I haven't had to do that nearly as much. Um cuz I also play it safer. I have kind of like strategies now, right? Okay, let's see. Um uh countries that you want to revisit in the future. Anything in my retired videos folder on YouTube? Yeah, I'd love to revisit those for sure. Um, will this VOD be available later? Probably. Yeah, I might take it down like after a month.
I don't know. I just I don't like my YouTube stuff being cluttered. But yeah.
Uh, let's see.
Yes, thank you so much. Thank you so much, Amanda. That is so that makes me so happy when um when my stuff is like being shown in classrooms and stuff.
That makes me so happy. And that also adds this sort of realism to them because as I mentioned earlier, sometimes it's hard for me to take pride in what I do because it's Minecraft, right? Whereas I know that that is inherently like a bad way to view it, but I just have such high expectations for what I want to do. Um, and it also is hard to cover places with weight to them in Minecraft. Uh, but knowing that my videos are being shown in schools, that adds so much more uh like that that helps me be confident in them. So, I really appreciate that and I love hearing about that. Um, I've heard that from you and from other people as well.
Uh, that's that's like more than what I could ever ask for. So, I really appreciate that. Um, and yeah, just uh everyone, this is Dragons, Dragon Ghast, um, one of my one of my developers. He is fantastic. Um, I just gave him a really cool mob to design for this next video after Mariana Trench. It's a secret. So, all right. Uh, we're coming up on that 110. It is 110. So, I'll do last minute questions and then I'll have to end the stream because I have to do some work. Uh, but yeah. All right. Put in unlisted live stream folder. I'll probably just get rid of it. I don't know. I don't want too many folders on my on my YouTube stuff. It's so relevant and they get so engaged. should never stop doing what you're doing. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I will do this for as long as I can, you know. I really will. Um, let me see.
Uh, all right.
Poor sticks. You're You're doing very very good at moderation. All right. Any last minute questions anyone has? Uh, shoot them my way.
My grandma loves your videos ever since I showed it to her. Oh, that's that's very that's very sweet. Um, I appreciate that. Yeah, I always try to keep my videos like slower for the whole family to enjoy, you know. Uh, again, I don't like that Mr. Beast eding because like very young audience members might enjoy that. Like my little siblings, I think even they've outgrown that style of adding, but I try to keep mine enjoyable for the whole family, you know. Um, oh, thank you so much, Fossil Fon. That is so sweet. That is so sweet. Thank you. I really appreciate that. That's That's awesome. Um, okay, last question. I I like that you phrase that as last question because this is actually the last question I'm answering. How do you go about hiring voice actors? Um, so mostly through Fiverr, right? The location specific voice actors, that's always the biggest challenge. Um because with Mongolia, I really tried to hire a Mongolian voice actor, but when it came down to it, um I reached out maybe 10 different people and they're either uh not available until a really long time, weren't comfortable reading in English cuz they needed English and Mongolian um or they just didn't respond right. Uh, but I got so lucky with uh Mariana Trench in the Mariana Islands because I reached out to PBS PBS Guam. Um, and they got me in contact with a Trmoro voice actor and she is she's done above and beyond.
She's been amazing. Um, so I always try to include people from the locations, but outside of that, I have the same four or five voice actors I like to go back to for any other characters. So yeah, like fun little fun little fact for you. Um Charlotte from Tasmania is the same voice actor as Anna. She also did Lowhi in Finland. Um so yeah, Amanda, no, you don't have to do all that. Amanda, thank you so much. That is so That is so nice of you. That's going straight into the budget. Okay, straight into the budget. Thank you so much. That is so nice. Oh my gosh, that is crazy.
Yes. Everybody say thank you to Amanda.
That is so crazy. Thank you. Thank you so much. Oh my gosh.
That's awesome. That is so awesome. Wow.
Wow. Wow. Thank you, Amanda. That That is so kind. I really appreciate that.
That's like That's sizable, too. That 20 bucks is is like a lot. That's crazy. Um you you don't owe me anything more. No, I love This is a mutual thing. I love making these videos. you all love watching them, right? It's a mutual thing. This is what I love doing. I'm going to do this for as long as I reasonably can, right? So, yeah. Uh that that's that's so that's so kind. Thank you. Um you don't owe me anything more.
Trust me, you really don't. Uh okay, with that being said, that is a perfect uh note to end on. Um big thanks to Amanda. Big thanks to Amanda, of course.
And uh yeah, I will see you all next Friday for the Mariana Trench. Um, it might end up being the longest video yet. Not quite sure yet, but it's it's a it's a really good one. I am so so happy with this one. So, please do um pop in for that. And uh yeah, with that being said, I will see you all then. All right. Goodbye.
