So, you know, there just are these huge breaks for capital gains that prevent us from raising adequate revenue and that favor wealth over work. A second big one is just corporate tax avoidance. It's just horrible. And um we recently found that 88 profitable corporations paid zero taxes last year.

[00:00:23]Watching the influence of money on politics is is really hard to see and it takes place under leadership of both parties and with politicians from both parties or all three parties, I guess you could say, you know, whatever from across the political spectrum. Uh you often see that just money talks in politics and that isn't something that came as any surprise, you know, after 20 years of working in Ohio, but it's um it's no fun to watch it up close.
