[00:00:00]How's it going? Welcome back to another day here on the seas. We're sitting outside of what I believe is the foothills potentially. It should be some new lands for us. So far, we've only been in the coastal jungle. And the main thing we're looking for today is well, I mean, one, some new resources, but specifically, we need some iron. That'll allow us to upgrade our ship. It'll allow us to upgrade our gear and kind of progress on a little bit easier. So, let's get up here. We'll put that on a fast travel and I'll show you kind of where we're at in life. Easy, buddy.

[00:00:46]We are safe. So, on the map where we're at, just for reference, this is base. I sailed all the way over here because if you look on the side over here, is it the bitter pill?

[00:01:12]So, if we're in coastal jungle, maybe it kind of transitions over to the foothills as we get further inland.

[00:01:18]I'm not too sure, but these are the main thing we're going for today. Not really the missions. We're still kind of underleveled for that, but I want to try to find the iron. And it should be in a node like this, I think, potentially.

[00:01:32]Now, in between videos, I did quite a bit of farming, doing a lot of the question marks to get our levels up. And as you can see, we are level seven now.

[00:01:40]So, we do have three more points.

[00:01:44]Kind of what I'm thinking is agility up some. That'll help out with our damage.

[00:01:48]And then maybe some into mastery, help out with the crit hit chance. Might kind of work out. We can always reset the points later on if we want to. and change our spec around. Now for the talents, this one increases the crit hit chance as well with one-handed weapons by 3%.

[00:02:10]Or we can do a a straight base damage by 3%. Let's do this one. See that kind of works out.

[00:02:20]We also got a new weapon. We got a cutless. Looted it in between videos. So it's on agility as well beats tier. So it swings a little bit slower. So with the perk hits apply the take aim effect up to nine stacks. Your next shot deals 10% bonus damage per stack. Now with that, I'm not sure if that means for just the blunder bus or with the hits from the sword as well.

I don't know if it was like a bug spawn, >> but they were level fives and level threes way over on the far side past base. Eight of them though, man. Not sure why there were so many, but I died once and then got all the loot and stuff. And I have been doing the boarding on the haulers because you get a lot more of the silver. I was looking for it to be on the right side when we loot them, but it's not. It's in the the middle. Soon as you get done, there's a level 10 right there ahead of us.

[00:25:25]And you get from like, you know, 40 to 50 on it. So, it's not too bad. Those guys there would definitely destroy us.

[00:25:31]Now, the the haulers are called transports with the higher tier ones. Yeah. See, there's a bunch of them over there, too.

[00:27:51]That's going to be the upgrade for the armor. Alchemy upgrade. So, we need sulfur. Okay, that's new. Still hardwood, rum, silver, and iron wear. We got the jewelry station we still got to make as well. That's going to be five more of the iron ingots.

[00:33:11]We got the planks or we got some we can make them. The 40 on the fabric and 30 of the tools. Now for the tools, we can buy those from the Tortuga people. I don't remember how much they are.

[00:33:27]I want to make the break as soon as possible though. But I also want to upgrade our gear too. You know what I mean?

[00:33:38]So we can make the iron bullets, combat repair kits.

Okay, just a few in the foothills. I like how the biome is totally different. One, the uh the atmosphere, the terrain, the creatures, the size of the island itself is massive, but the creatures have the different mechanics, too. Like the boores when they charge at you kind of go in a straight line, easy to dodge.

[00:47:12]That alpha wolf, they kind of go at an angle, right? So, you can't dodge them as easy. Maybe instead of going side to side or trying to dodge back, might need to start dodging forward.
