Trust is a chemical. Specifically, when we feel like we trust someone, we have an elevated level of oxytocin in our bloodstream and in our brain. Oxytocin, sometimes called the love hormone. It's It's produced a lot of times in acts of physical touch, embraces. It's produced at childbirth, when you're around your family, and also when you feel someone is being vulnerable with you.
