Processing Scrap Plus Starting To Fill My 20 Yard Scrap BinAdded:
Okay, just looking at uh all the stuff in my yard. This is crazy. Look at all this here. Tons of stuff.
There's a lot of material still in my yard.
A lot of material.
A lot of appliances there. Still a lot of barbecues.
I was going to take these today, but I didn't have time.
this cast, but that's okay. Um, let's get in there.
Just can't believe the amount of stuff.
How many barbecues have aluminum tops?
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18. I would say 18 at least.
Wow.
That's not counting stainless steel ones, but that's 18. The ones have aluminum sides and bottoms.
There's probably like 300 lb aluminum sitting here cast. So, I kind of want to put some stuff in a bin here just because I kind of want to downsize some of this crap here so I can kind of move stuff like I can get rid of that, this, these things and start kind of like moving stuff over.
This is tons of stuff.
Okay, maybe I can start throwing stuff in.
Um, let me get that shelf, I think.
I might throw some appliances in first, I think. Get my tools and then um if I can throw in maybe uh six appliances, then throw stuff on top.
So, I might do that. Kind of gives me a little more room and I can throw throw stuff like this on top and fill it fill it up. Cut this down a bit here.
Shelf in.
Okay. Well, it's getting there.
There's a lot of material still. There's at least a few thousand dollars just spring clean up here kicking around.
Everywhere you look, you know, kind of all adds up here. 100 here, 200.
a lot of microwaves, a lot of transformers, some old copper.
Um, even if they're just um aluminum, they're 30 cents a pound at least.
So, two two $3 a transformer. Depends how heavy they are. I probably got um how many microwaves? I got um one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. 10 right there.
10 11 12 12 Some want to know how many you had altogether. I don't even know.
13 14 15 16 18 19 20 23 Oh, this look they're all million here.
23 4 5 6 7 28 29 30 31 32 2 3 4 3 5 6 3 7 38 39 41 42 3 4 5 4 6 4 just in this area here.
Wow, that's crazy. 47 already. And it was so slow at the start. It was like there was nothing. And then as soon as uh the area changed better area got way better. So 47 38 49 50 2 3 4 56 56 57 I would say almost 60. Could even be 60.
Wow. That's a that's a major amount.
Wow.
This guy kept asking me about this thing here. Right there still sitting here.
Lots of these things.
So I I found a lot. So I found over 50 55 maybe cuz I found a couple elsewhere.
Okay, let me get some tool my tools and then get some of the bigger appliances ready just so that I can clean that area and I can start building the bin up. Okay.
Not sure if I can get clean off.
That's a problem when you got to service these things, you know, just you take annoying things apart.
Trying to see if I can open it without doing too much.
There it is.
clothes in there.
Socks What's that?
So, kind of want to take the mortar out.
It's more of a pain to be honest.
We're just right behind there.
Oh, another microwave there, too.
pump over here.
Looks copper.
Looks copper.
Okay.
See, I can't really get this off here to pop the front face off. So, it's not like it's an easy Okay, some water here.
Most of wires there.
Let me get some containers here. Hold on.
It's heavy.
Could be copper.
That's kind of look.
Just leave it the way it is.
That look just look like copper. It's problem. All stuff is usually garbage.
Probably just That's it. I'll probably do See, it said it worked, but the pump was hanging.
That's why it didn't work.
That's what people always put that it works but it doesn't.
I see quite often like that.
Peter here.
Okay, so got some mortars here.
The other one I left was too hard to get it out.
I can't believe how heavy these are.
Lots of concrete in this one.
It's low grade, but it's it's okay.
Still adds up.
Awful little snaps.
As you can see, it's a little work trying to get some of this stuff out, these tight ones.
a little tough to get that out.
Um, what do we have? Let's go grab a bar.
Try his axe first.
Yeah.
Don't want to take it apart. That's a problem. Okay. Hold on. Let me get a bar.
That's copper.
We'll be stripping that one.
cuz that one's easy. Um, drill a couple rivets out or unscrew them and no biggie.
Well, I got actually this thing board back in there.
later.
I got this thing here.
Tilt later was definitely copper.
Just do this one.
How come that one's not the end?
Okay.
No, no, no.
See, this one has a little center here. It's going to come out.
It's usually stainless.
Okay.
A little bit of brass. Actually, can take that off right now.
Usually it's better than that, but that's how it is sometimes. You get a crappy one brass here. See that?
We're in the pile.
So, that one's ready. Oh, no. I got this one here.
Recycle the soft plastic.
Yeah.
What happened?
Okay.
Okay.
aluminum.
So, I'm going to leave all this crap on last. I usually should cut that off, but since they pay low grade doesn't matter.
Don't seem to care.
The copper nuggets, electric motor, and these things too you want to take apart.
This is brass here.
Brass. It's all dirty if you want.
Still brass.
These things here.
You could um pull these off here.
One spot.
done so much time you had.
Grass so valuable now.
Okay. Oh, dime here machine. 10 cents.
Rusty.
Yeah. Hold on.
That's all for good.
So this one, like I say, um same same routine, same kind of mortar.
Should the It's a little tighter here.
Let's just cut it.
They're big heavy mortars, so they're going to Wow.
It's usually 10 lb.
I would say it's probably aluminum.
Probably 15 lbs. Probably aluminum.
Okay.
Still money.
Take what we can, right?
Tough one.
Okay, so we got one more thing here.
Oh, look at that. It's got a fan on there. Never seen that before.
Huh?
You guys ever seen that before?
Fan on there?
Never seen that.
Stripped a lot.
How many? But a triple lock.
Not sure.
little saws electric motor.
See that? Nice little thing.
Never seen like that before.
It's kind of cool, actually.
Okay, here's another type.
compact, very heavy.
These these little things here. The wires sit.
Computer's right there Actually, See, it's adds up, huh?
I mean, no wire. It's like two bucks a pound. Now, like some of this could be better grade, but you know, since I don't have a lot, I'm just going to throw it all in there.
Well, it depends what what happens.
All the motors here. Push motors, guys.
there. Look at that copper bearing.
Copper nuggets.
board here for later.
Okay.
Might actually take these bolts out if we can cuz it's a little bit hard to get it out sometimes.
Probably had the right one.
It's probably that one.
Yeah.
Cuz sometimes what happens is when you're trying to get the the plastic out, it's a little bit hard.
Pretty late sealed mortar.
What do you think, guys? Aluminum or copper?
aluminum, I would think.
Not that heavy, but it's a different kind of mortar they stuck in here.
Usually, it's not that style mortar.
They're even downsizing mortars. No.
A come on.
Wow. He's picked out that fast.
Stripped real fast.
crappiest mortar.
Crappiest mortar around.
I should just put it back together.
Definitely not going to copper.
Well, takes more time trying to get it hooked back together. I'll just tell the way it is. Okay, so move on.
Come on.
So, I stripped already. Uh, you seen all the washers. I got quite a bit of stuff out of there. Was pretty good.
That's one thing more garbage.
Come on.
Okay. Actually, Sweet.
Yeah, I don't feel like open this thing up more.
Just want to make sure there's no brass.
This pretty heavy.
It's pretty heavy that thing. Guys, you don't strip these when they're plastic.
Just to get a scrapyard up a little better set of scrap board.
Not worth it. Just touch pads only.
ground wires pretty good.
So there'll be a Okay.
So, okay, we got that much wire, some of the goodies here, and then we got uh that's all aluminum.
And then we got this here, too. It's not too bad.
Okay, I'm going to charge my uh phone or my GoPro a little more and then start getting ready. Okay, looks like it might be aluminum here.
Oh, yeah. It's a nice heavy one. Nice.
These are ones got a little bit of steel inside, but it's pretty heavy.
So, I decided to take a break, head back.
Just uh hot in the sun there.
If anything else pops up, I'll I'll film it, but if not, hope you enjoyed the video. Have a great day. Thanks for watching.
