When solving mathematical expressions with multiple operations, follow the PEMDAS rule: Parentheses first, then Exponents, followed by Multiplication and Division (left to right), and finally Addition and Subtraction (left to right). For example, in 8 ÷ 2 × (1 + 1), you first solve the parentheses (1+1=2), then perform division and multiplication from left to right (8÷2=4, then 4×2=8), resulting in 8 as the correct answer.

Hello my friends.
Today I have this expression for you to solve.
8 divide on two times a parenthesis 1 + 1.
You know 1 + 1 easily is two and you can write the rest 8 divide on this two times this two which is four.
8 over four gives us two.
But this answer could not be correct.
I erase everything here and I show you what is the right solution.
When you have several operations like this example, you should respect the rules for operations orders. We call it PEMDAS.
P E P stands for parenthesis. So first everything should be focused on the parenthesis and what is inside it.
Then E stands for exponent numbers. We don't have any exponent numbers here.
Then M stands for multiplication and D for division. They are in same order.
Then A stands for addition and S stands for subtraction. They are also are in a same order.
Same order here and same order here. And same order means when you are facing with these situations, always you should first go starting from left side then go to the right side.
So this is the order for operations choosing. Now we can go back to our example.
Here we have a parenthesis. So first the parenthesis according to the PEMDAS.
1 + 1 gives us 2.
And now I can write down the rest. 8 divided on 2. And between these two and these parentheses, we have a multiplication.
Now, we have a division and multiplication.
And according to this rule, we know they are in same order. And same order means we should start from the left side and then go to the right side. So, first, 8 over 2 gives us 4.
And times this two gives us eight.
And you can see this answer is completely different from the old one.
And this is the correct answer.
