Is AI Deceiving Christians?

[00:00:02]Now, as we consider how AI is becoming more and more prevalent in our spiritual lives, I encourage you to remember that the chat GPT that powers Ask Jesus, he assured us that he is not our savior in a traditional sense. And with that being the case, I encourage you to realize that the Jesus being presented by Open AI is not the Jesus of the Bible. I should also remind you that the Lord Jesus even warned us that many would come in his name in order to deceive. We actually find this warning in Matthew chapter 24. Here we find the apostles asking Jesus about what the times would be like just before his return. And in response, the Lord Jesus declares, "Take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name saying, 'I am the Christ and will deceive many.'"

[00:00:51]So, according to Jesus, many would come in his name. Many would come claiming to be Jesus Christ, and they would end up deceiving many.

[00:00:59]Could this include all of the AI apps that now claim to provide us with a connection with Christ Jesus? It certainly seems so.
