THE END OF DESTINY 2

[00:00:00]And that is the Destiny 2 every end is a new beginning the last update ever to Destiny 2 is coming June 9th. Monument of Triumph, the director is back, SRL is back, Pantheon is back, lots of updates, but they are fully intending to no longer update the game in a live service manner beginning to work on new games that are not called Destiny 2. We got new aspects on the way with new exotics, transmogging exotics.

[00:00:42]Destiny 2 had to die for SRL to come back. Lots of cool stuff. I'm sure it'll keep us entertained at least for a little bit, but then we got to survive until the next game.

[00:00:57]So, Shadow of Order is gone. Yeah, it looks like they stopped working on Shadow of Order, scrapped that story, used things that were coming as updates in Shadow of Order, so like new exotics, new sandbox changes, and just putting it into this thing called Monument of Triumph, which kind of kind of takes a pass over all of the existing um content in the game, updates some stuff, adds tier five armor and weapons to things.

[00:01:23]And uh just kind of polishes the stuff already in there so it can live in perpetuity as Destiny 2 no longer gets updated, which I think is a great idea.

[00:01:33]You know, after Final Shape we got to a point where it nothing [music] just feels like it carries any weight uh when it comes to like the story behind the game, and that's because the Light and Darkness saga ended and they really wanted to keep you know, continuing something, and it just wasn't I guess working as well as they wanted it. Um I felt a little It felt a little like less than to me cuz you just you hit the such as high you hit such a high point. And after that, it just feels anticlimactic no matter what they did.
