The Sun exhibits dynamic plasma activity including plasma filaments, coronal holes, and solar flares, which can be monitored to predict space weather conditions affecting Earth; on May 26, 2026, the Sun showed significant plasma filament activity and a C-class solar flare with solar winds at 406 km/s, resulting in Level 1 minor solar radiation impacts with no significant geomagnetic effects expected.

HUGE Plasma Whips‼️C Solar Flare‼️Added:
Well, good day sunshine. This is our sun today for May 26th, 2026. Welcome to another surviving day on the planet. Big plasma filaments, both regions of the sun turning away and cresting into view.
Lots of activity on the backside of our sun recently. Here's a closer look at those big plasma filaments shooting away from the cresting limb as well. Lots of activity swirling around the surface right now. and just recently a strong C-class solar flare. Having a look at 195 angstros, there is a couple coronal holes that have developed in both the southern and northern hemispheres of the sun, but small, minute, not a big geomagnetic effect over the next few days. Current space weather conditions, we are under level one minor solar radiation impacts from the solar flare that just impacted solar winds coming in at 406 km/s.
And here's a look at the latest space weather spiral incoming CMEs and as well the aurora forecast for the next hour or so around the northern hemisphere.
Much love everybody and thank you so much for tuning in to the today's space weather update. Here's a look at the latest CME taking off from our sun. Much love. Stay safe and healthy, aware and prepared.
