[00:40:05]He initially told investigators the shooting followed a traffic dispute [music] and claimed he acted in self-defense, but the case never went before a jury.

[00:40:13]On April 25th, [music] 2025, Burley pleaded guilty to one count of murder with a 3-year firearm specification.

[00:40:21]The Franklin County Prosecutor's Office confirmed [music] that he was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 18 years.

[00:40:30]There were no co-defendants [music] charged in connection with the case and no evidence presented publicly that suggested anyone else was involved in the shooting.
