What's up everybody? Welcome back to the channel. It's your boy Houston Street Monsters back at it again. So guys, this is another video of what's going to be the future giveaway. Sitting behind me on the lift is the Shelby Super Snake.
And uh that's going to be the next giveaway. So, as always, I want to make a video for every giveaway so you guys can go and watch this and look at the whole progress, everything that was done to the vehicle. Right now, we kind of got a head start already. We have the truck taken apart already. There's no motor, there's no transmission. Midnight Performance has the transmission getting built right now and the mortar is pulled out because we're putting in a 1500 horsepower Texas speed built motor in it. So, that's where we're at right now.
Like I said, we're a little bit ahead of ourselves. You we didn't get to record when we were taking it apart and all that good stuff, but anyways, that stuff is boring. Basically, I want to show you guys uh the way it was before and the end result. So, this one here, we're not going to have to do a whole bunch of stuff because to begin with, it's already a Shelby. This truck already has all the bells and whistles. It is whippled. Um, it does have a full Rite Tech suspension. It's badass. You know, I could have just given away this truck the way it sits, the way Shelby builds them, but obviously that's not the HSM way. So, we went ahead and pulled the motor to put that built motor in there and build the transmission. We're going to do a fuel system, triple fuel system from Velocity. Uh, we're going to do headers and we're going to pulley down the blower so that we can make 1,000 to the wheels. Obviously, all the supporting mods that I might be missing.
So, once we're done putting it together, we're going to put it on my hub dyno, show you guys that it makes the power I'm saying to the wheels, and then pulley it back up, put a bigger size pulley for the winner to take it home, and they can turn it up as they want.
So, we'll be showing you progress as we go. Let's go.
All right, guys. So, a quick update on the Shelby giveaway. As you can see behind me, it's already all back booked together. We got the Texas Speed 1500 horsepower motor in there, the Midnight Bill 10R80 in there, fuel system from Velocity, triple pumps, ID1300s, velocity headers, the whole 9 yards, guys. So, full build. Uh, we had a little setback on the blower lid because it had a little chip on it and I did not want to give it away like that. So, sent it out to the quarter. We're having trouble finding the exact match because it was only the lid getting powder coated, not the whole blower itself.
But, we got it and it's all back together. Lung just sent me a base tune so we can start it up and uh we're going to top off the transmission fluid, check everything. All the fluids are good, take it off the lift, go drive it, and start tuning it. So, right now it's on 93 and uh with the 3875 pulley on there.
So, we'll do some normal driving, make sure everything's happy. After that, we'll drain it, put E85. We're going to try a 30 pulley. So, again, every giveaway is going to make a 1000 horsepower. So, whatever pulley we have to put on there to make the 1000 horsepower to show you guys, we'll do.
But yeah, first we're going to do 93, then we move on to E85, and she's going to be ready to go. So, we'll see what happens. Let's go.

All right, guys. So, everything checked out. We got no leaks. Uh, so far I'm going to drive it around. I'm going to take the truck out to lunch and uh give me a quick salad or something. If everything is good, I'll be able to send some logs to Lun. He'll send me a revision. The truck is currently, like I said, on the 3875 pulley on 93. So, once I send those logs to Lun, he'll give me the green light to uh maybe make a little pull, send the log back and forth. I want to make sure everything is happy, transmission shifting like it should on the street. Then we'll put it on the dyno and see what it makes on the 93 tune. Obviously, we can't make a whole lot on 93, but I want the winner to have a 93 tune just in case uh there's no E85 available or whatever. A good tuneup to be able to drive it normal, make some pools on 93 safely.
Then once it's all good on 93, we'll drain it, put some E85, see what it does on E85 with the 3875 pulley that's on there right now. And once we get that, then we'll move up or go down on the pulley size to try to make the 1,000 horsepower to the wheels. So, that's where we're at now, guys. Everything's looking good. Truck is idling perfect like factory. So, yeah, we'll get back with you guys as soon as we uh start making some pulls. Let's go. What is up, guys? Another update here with the Shelby giveaway. So, as you guys know, we pulled out the stock motor. Now, we got a Texas B500 horsepower motor in it.
These trucks can actually make 1,000 horsepower to the wheels, no problem on the stock motor, but you're going to have it in the back of your head that your stock motor, you pushing it, blah blah blah. So, that's why I'm doing these the HSM way and putting in a built motor. It's a little bit overkill with the 1500 horsepower rated motor, but that's just the way I like to do things.
And, uh, we also have the Midnight Bill 10-speed transmission to handle all that power, fuel system, all that good stuff.
So, right now we have the Shelby on the hub dyno and currently it's sitting on the 3875 pulley on E85, which I'm shooting for about 700ish horsepower and that's pretty much about the horsepower I want to give it to the winner and then they can take it home, turn it up as they please. But, uh, after this, I am going to change the pulleys and we're going to make 1,000 to show you guys that it makes 1,000 horsepower to the wheels and it's got all the supporting mods to do it and the engine and trans and everything to be capable of handling it. So, we're going to warm up the truck right now and make a dino pool and see what it makes on E85 3875 pooling. Let's go.
There you have it, guys. 725 horsepower to the wheels. None of that flywheel That's kind of where I expect it to be at. Most of the trucks in this pulley setup are making 700. So 725, I'll take it. We're going to start taking apart the pulleys and try out setups, uh, pulley combos to make a,000 to the wheels to show you guys that it does that and it has all the supporting mods to do it and the mortar and transmission to handle it. So 725 to the wheels. That's how the winner is going to take it and then they can turn up as they please. Let's go. What's up, guys?
Another update on the Shelby giveaway.
The last time you guys saw it, we put it on the dyno and it made somewhere in the 700s with the 3875 pulley on the 85, Velocity headers, all that good stuff.
Now, we're trying to make a,000 horsepower. My boy Russell at Velocity told me that the 3 upper pulley should make the 1000. So, we are still on the six rip setup. So, we went ahead and put the 3 0 pulley. We added some VHT, some sticky stuff on the belt, on the pulleys so that it can help with the belt slip.
All we want to do is see a 1000 horsepower to the wheels and then we're going to put it back on a 3875 pulley.
Give it to the winner making 700ish horsepower to the wheels, which I think it's the perfect horsepower for a daily driver. But I want to show you guys that it does have everything and the capability of making 1,000 to the wheels. We already warmed up the truck, so we're going to go ahead and turn it on and see what it does. Let's go. All right, job time.
There you have it, guys. First try, 106 horsepower to the wheels. None of that flywheel Shout out to my boy Russell, the one that told me that the 30 pulley should make a 1000 horsepower.
And of course, like I said, we got the VHT sticky stuff on the belt on the pulleys. I'm sure that's helping with the belt slip. Man, I'm excited.
