[00:00:20]And then it happens to me twice because the other the other time also is that my stepdad my stepdad came in because and then I was watching the movie.

[00:00:32]Same same guy same movie have a different episode. But I didn't know that my stepdad will going to come in that time. So you know what I felt guys?

[00:00:42]It was weird weird feelings of me that you know like especially men saw me watching these kinds of movie. So I feel really not so uncomfortable. So I did turn off again the television. So it's more more far worse of than my mom. So my mom is really okay I'm still scared but like it's my stepdad.

[00:01:05]For me guys it's like a feeling I think like it's okay for me to watch that kind of movie when I'm around with uh um my my sisters my sisters or like my boyfriend or like my friends like that but like for my brothers my fathers or like stepdad I think it wouldn't be great. I think it will be disrespectful.

[00:01:25]I think it's not really much I don't know guys it's just me feeling that way.

[00:01:36]Philippines is the only country where you cannot get divorced and we are the only nations that is treated sex as a forbidden fruits.

[00:01:49]So today we are going to dive into a topic where we are going to talk about the sex why a lot of Filipinos are trying to be like I mean against with sex talks like that and especially if you are going to date or like dating a Filipina and going on a date of a Filipina you need to know this cuz sometimes also like just appear about kind of talks like you're guys being open to each other and and then suddenly you bump into this sex talks which a lot of people are trying to not talk in the very beginning and find it red flag. We don't talk sex in the school. We don't talk sex in the table. We don't take talk sex with our family. We don't talk sex with our elders. And if you're going to have that in the first date then you are blocked.

[00:02:50]But here's is the spicy truth behind that Mara Clara treatments in the Philippines or culture thing is that a lot of Filipino right now are living living in a double life. Today I am going to expose to you in silence about the Filipino culture of silence. Why in the data it's the result is different but a lot of people are trying to pretend sense in regards with this topic but in the data says something different right like especially right now in the Philippines one of the growing countries one of the growing countries one of the a lot of young ones that got pregnant in the early age.

The obsession of the purity and then a lot of women are trying to hide it try to try to hide their past because they don't want to disappoint their partner or or even they don't want to uh disappoint someone that is interested to them or even they are not they don't want to uh disappoint their families because here in the Philippines when you are pure you are really most respected person like that. So if you are like um if you're going to tell you to your families to your friends that I'm not pure anymore so like I'm having I mean sleeping with this person like that. So it's like the the sides or like the point of views from the other people it's not going to be good for you. Like that especially if those people are still living in those table Mary Clara or like a judgement. Like especially here in the Philippines it's like if you know this marites you know there's so much marites here in the Philippines or like a gossip you know. So just one story it will going to divide it to many people to many stories like that to many stories comes up and they're trying to add it.

[00:04:54]So that's the reason why a lot of Filipinas are um you know trying to hide everything.

[00:05:01]So it's like um in deep inside he knows that they are not pure anymore but like in the outside they are trying to pretend that we are pure because we don't want to disappoint the peoples. I know in the west that talking about sex is like we you guys called it an experience but here in the Philippines talking about sex is actually very different because having that kind of um talks is like we call that scandal.

[00:05:34]As I said earlier you know a lot of people are you know if you are going to share it or if I am going to share that I am not pure anymore to just one person especially I'm just always uh staying at home like that or if I'm going to share my sex life to other people I this this person will going to say it or tell it to different people like that. So you cannot just uh tell it easily. That is why in the very first date she's trying to not talk about. So if I said earlier if you're going to talk about it you going to be blocked.

[00:06:09]Blocked blocked blocked like that especially she's still living in that side area and then especially guys um during your first date and having talks like that um it's quite very disrespectful for us. I think like you just want us for sex like that.

[00:06:27]That's what you know a lot of people believe in that. So no sex talk after all. You know why? Is that because she is afraid that she going to get judged by the 300 year old norm of the Filipinos that we don't know it's if it's exist anymore in nowadays. The motel culture.

[00:06:50]So we don't talk sex in the family. We don't talk sex in the table. I know there are some people are easily uh got having talks like this especially in the table family gatherings like that. But as all Filipinos we don't talk like that. Why is that? Why is that happening when in fact here in the Philippines we got a lot of motels. If you are going to be around in Cebu cities Manila as you can see there's a lot of motel right like for hours for like you know you can rent it for hours or like you can rent it for a day. It really depends on you. That is one of the reason why a lot of people having in these kinds of way like as a um you know adults the adults they are trying to hide it. And then are you still wondering why there's a lot of relationship got broken?

[00:07:50]When we are kids we believe that our body is a temple.

[00:07:55]Right. So I remember I remember when I was a kid guys that my mother and my father and my elder neighbor always told me that you guys if you're going to go to school don't because if they're going to touch your hand it means that you are going to get married of them.

[00:08:21]So it was it's funny right if you're going to hear about it and it makes us scared like I'm not going to touch men's hand because I don't want to get married because a lot of elders believe on this that if you're going to touch the hands or like you're doing a holding hands you're going to have you know they're going to or like there will be another another level on that which is like kissing kissing or like touching your body like that. So that is one of the reason why a lot of the families or like the parents or like the elders always tell tell us in regards of that because they don't want us to get married early to have a babies early. I remember something guys.

[00:09:13]One of our neighbor she is actually 14 years old when she have one kid and they got married because during those times is that during those times guys is there is no age to get married like you know as long as you love each other. So they love each other so they get married in the age of 14 years old. Right. 14 years old crazy right? But yeah it is true.

[00:09:40]Very very true. And now they have like 12 children. 12 children guys they are so old now. They are old couple married couple went through ups and down and then you're wondering why there's um uh this still this one is part of Filipinos because before you guys when there when you are manly ligaw to us, it means you are like the parents are going to try to arrange or like trying to tell you the man to go to to bring a lot of cows or like anything foods to the girl so that or like we call that um pamama pamamali pamamalaye. Yeah, pamamalaye guys. I'm not sure if it um happens to you there guys because in before marriage guys, we have this uh family to family gatherings to talk about the marriage to the both parties and the man always um need to give something for the girl's family even money, cows, or any kinds of animals and the family of the man needs to bring foods also to um it's like a gesture to um to leave the people in there who's a sacks that or like a sacks say. And you know what? Also in the Philippines, we are Catholic. So a lot of people when you are like going to the church, you know, you believe in Jesus Christ, you believe in this kind of you know, we are part of the this um church, right? And then like that if you are like if you're going to do those things, then you're like it's like against on the the right path. Like you're not following what is right.

That is why a lot of people are trying not to involve with those kinds of thing, but still so question is what if you are going to have sex with a person from the Philippines you met or like Yeah. So what would you feel when you hear this topic that I am right now ranting to you? Because I know guys uh like having or experiencing it is fun for like Western culture, but as here in the Philippines is like especially Catholic or like yeah, we're in Catholic country, right? It's like a guilt. So it is followed by a forgiveness for doing those kind of thing that it shouldn't be done without getting marriage. I know that there's a lot of you are really really curious about getting to know the past of the this person that you are going to be with in the future that you are dating right now. But there are he uh there is actually a cheat code to that guys is that without appearing that you are bastos. So as long as uh to you that it is not bastos that it will not going to give the bad impressions to this woman that you need to tend or you need to feel to yourself that you are a partner that you can trust because the reputation of this person is very much important to her. So you need to uh you need to you know, act like you are a real partner that they cannot that they can trust you that they can share whatever they want to share because it's really important to have this kind of conversation conversation. So I'm not really literally agree with that. If you're asking if I'm Catholic, yes, I am. Or if I still follow some of the norms of Filipino, yes, I am. But in my side guys, I think like having a talks with a um like having this kind of conversation in the very beginning of relationship, it is really important.

[00:13:43]But everyone is not me. So a lot of women are still very cautious in regards with that because with and then they might going to misunderstood you and they're not going to go out on a date with you anymore just because of this.

[00:13:59]So there's um you just need to feel like you don't need to be rude. You don't need to to be more touchy, you know? You can just talk about like you're open you're open to yourself and then suddenly like um you're going to ask as well like you're going to tell like um but you don't need to share, you know, like that so. But you are everything is safe with with me. Everything you say like like that I think that's actually a cheat code. I'm not I really feel that they say that because you know, if someone going to do that actually especially I feel like I can't trust this person then you why not? I'm going to talk about it like especially if I am dating of this person as well because dating someone and then no sex talk like that or like no conversation in regards with this kinds of thing then I think it's the problem some day it's going to appear. Like what if this person is sleeping with different kinds of person like that and then you suddenly you get sick because of that because here it happens that it didn't it didn't appear in your conversation.
