We'll have to wait and see. Now, Blackpool have stated we're not actually allowed to record inside the ride area, are we?

[00:00:47]So, that's a little bit of a shame there, but they want to keep it secret for everyone coming on the 21st, which is the actual opening day.

[00:01:24]>> The last time we were up here was with um Kof Coaster Sam, wasn't it? For the last day of the season. Um it was awesome, guys. We had the fireworks and we literally got the fireworks. We were on launch pad. We went flying in the air as the fireworks went up. It was so cool, wasn't it?

[00:02:50]Oh my god, guys. I just popped to the toilet there and I just literally opened the lock from the door and I've just taken the bloody end of my thumb off.

[00:02:57]Um, that's well dangerous. So, staff apparently aren't allowed to issue me a plaster or anything and um, we can't leave the queue, can we? So, that's annoying. God, not a great start to the day.

So, I got to find first aid. Um, health and safety gone so wild these days, guys, that they can't give you a plaster. What's that about?

[00:03:50]First look at a Victus. We haven't been up here since the end of the season last year. They got the Evictus countdown on the wall there. Pretty cool. 11 days until it opens to the public on the 21st. Um I thought we were going to be able to get some rides in, but >> I think we're just going to have to wait in the queue for a Victus all day. It's quite a quite a long one there, isn't it?

[00:04:12]They said we didn't have to wait, but everyone's waiting, so uh I guess we might as well. At least we got some bangers playing.

[00:09:24]Apparently, they're waiting for everyone to go on and have a go and then they're going to see uh they're going to make a decision if anyone's allowed to go on again. Bit of a shame there.

[00:09:33]>> Oh my god, guys, though. It is so good, isn't it? So, obviously, it was advertised, guys, cuz it was quite an expensive VIP event there. Um, it said an hour of ERT, so exclusive ride time for 1 hour, but we're half an hour into it and we're not allowed to queue back up. So, that's a little bit of a shame there. I think we'll go and hang around just in case they do let us sort of I mean, I did say, guys, I'll be happy with two rides. I think one's just a little bit, you know.

[00:10:12]>> Yeah, an hour ERT. So, you should be able to get back in that Q- line before the hour's up kind of thing. But if they just said you only get one ride, you know, we would have come expecting that and it would have been fine. But an hour ERT means you can get back in that queue before the Q- line shuts. Do you know what I mean?

[00:10:28]>> That's a shame because we didn't want anything to sort of dampen the day there. But, I mean, it is an amazing attraction. It is so fun.

[00:10:35]>> I got I have no faults with it. Um, except for when the ride starts, it plays a Victus. It starts the music, but then when the ride stops and they change people going off and people coming on, it's just pure silence. So, I think they need a little bit of background music there just for that bit, don't they? Um, the theming, the theming is great, very stylized, very much like Icon. The soundtrack's awesome. Uh, they got like Planet Coaster scenery rock work around, haven't they?

[00:11:01]>> But, um, it is awesome, guys. You need to come and uh, give it a go. 21st it opens. There's another VIP event on the 13th. So, if you are watching this and you are coming for that, just bear in mind you're only going to get one ride, unfortunately. Um, new attraction, so operations are a little bit slow on it, aren't they? Um, but that's with anything that opens really. Um, it's awesome, guys. Definitely get yourselves down.

Jacob's a little bit heartbroken there, guys, cuz obviously I mean it's it's a little bit bad really cuz it's an hour ERT. [00:11:38]You need to know what you're sort of expecting when you come. Anyway, guys, we haven't been to Blackpool since the end of the season. Um, so let's get on some rides. We'll probably start with Icon. Uh, got to love Icon. Me and Jacob were actually the last public riders on the Grand Prix here. Um, still still parts of it remaining uh by the looks of it. I wonder if they're going to do anything with it. Obviously, they made the little garden down there by Icon, didn't they? That look really great. But wonder what they're going to do up here.

[00:12:04]>> Jacob just saying there a Victus was definitely in theme even with this VIP event cuz Blackpool were being sneaky snakes there. They only gave us one ride.

[00:12:13]>> That's it. So, we were just chatting to one of the staff members, guys. He's been on it seven times.

[00:12:17]>> Lucky, >> unlike us. He said that apparently where you sit actually impacts the ride experience. So, the best places to sit is either facing infusion or facing the main entrance. And he says that's how you get the best views on the attraction.

[00:12:40]Icon first, I take it. A just looking at it swing after going on it, guys. I really do want another ride. Um cuz me and Jacob weren't going to come up, but we came up because Jacob can't do the 21st on opening day cuz he's got exams.

[00:12:52]So, we came up just for this. So, Jacob's a little bit heartbroken there, aren't you?

[00:12:56]>> Big dippers. Quite busy there. I mean, for a weekend, this isn't really too bad. Um, we were just chatting to someone else there, guys. They were on the first cycle of the day, and they actually got to go around and ride it again. We were on the second cycle, and they told us we weren't allowed, didn't they? So, I don't know.

[00:13:12]>> This was parts of the old Grand Prix, guys. Um, looks quite good, actually, isn't it? They've done a good job here.

[00:13:17]Oh, they got a little food stand there now as well. Nice on a hot day. Not that you get many up north.

[00:13:24]>> Realized how good it is. So Enzo guys, it is still £5 if you want to go on it, which is good to see cuz it was always empty, wasn't it? So at least they're actually making some money from it now.

[00:13:50]Yeah, there's um there's quite a lot of other vloggers and quite a lot of other people that aren't very happy um with the way it's been managed. We're always honest on the channel, aren't we? We we never we literally we never moan about Blackpool. This is one of our favorite parks in the UK. And honestly, this year we put Blackpool above Alton Towers.

[00:14:10]>> Yeah, this is it. UK definitely UK's best amusement park. Um we never moan about Blackpool, guys. But today we are having a little bit of a grumble there cuz it was a lot of money and it's a long way to come, isn't it?

[00:14:22]We didn't get on that um last time we came. So that'll be quite fun to go on.

[00:14:25]Probably go on it after the big one cuz we got to get on the big one, haven't we? Hopefully um not too janky today.

[00:15:34]>> That's it. I got a couple of ejector pops actually. I've never had that on the big one. Um, I will say though, guys, on that thing, >> very rare to get air time on it. If you're a bit older like me, guys, um, and you don't want to hurt your back or come off with bruises, definitely wait for the front row cuz, um, that was actually surprisingly smooth for a ride on the big one. Jacob prefers the back for the drop. But that drop is just terrifying at the back cuz you get all whipped so bad, don't you?

Scariest part of the ride is actually getting up to it.

[00:21:07]If it gets stuck, they don't have to eback it. They can let it go or something. But, it's cool to see. I say every time the big one gets stuck at the top, it's always in the news, isn't it?

[00:21:39]I I don't know how. I mean, if it is smooth, that's the first Euro Fighter that I've ever been on that is actually smooth, which would be really crazy there. Valgard, bring on that. That's going to be awesome there. It' be a good day, won't it?

I mean, they've got the gondlers back now, haven't they? So, hopefully soon.

[00:23:24]It's probably one of the smoother woodies in the park. We don't get a wheel seat there. I'm too old to sit on a wheel seat now. I just can't do it anymore. I don't enjoy death.

I think the drop's better at the front as well. You prefer at the back. the drops at the drop at the back with the coaster at the front.

[00:24:06]That that there, guys, that is the scariest roller coaster in the UK. It is definitely the scariest roller coaster.

[00:24:11]I mean, Hyperius drops quite terrifying the first time, but it's so reridable and smooth. That's just scary. That and you know, when you sit on the right hand side as well and you don't have the steps, it's just huge, isn't it? You just have the sheer drop. Um, I love it.

[00:24:24]It's an absolute classic. So scary there.

[00:24:26]>> It's still a good ride.

[00:24:27]>> Yeah.

[00:24:28]>> I think this is going to be a habit at Blackpool now, guys. Every time you walk past the avalanche shop, we got to get something cuz um Jacob doesn't like peanut butter, so he got a mallow cup.

[00:24:36]I've never heard of those. Kind of want to try it.

[00:24:38]>> Like Reese's with marshmallow, I guess.

[00:24:41]>> Jacob Jacob's hiding. He doesn't want to review the food there. But judging by his face, that mallow cup's absolutely banging. Can I try the other one?

[00:24:50]>> Nice. He doesn't want to give me the other one now. Yeah. If you don't like peanut butter, guys, those MO cups, they're good. If you do like peanut butter, the toffee Reese's is better.

[00:25:09]>> Um, we're in Blackpool for Park Friday nights. What's going on?

[00:25:30]I don't know what's going on, guys, but I nearly grabbed the seagull. I don't know why they were flying at us again.

[00:25:35]We're going to go on launch pad again, guys, cuz um we had a really good ride on it earlier. It was great, wasn't it?

[00:25:46]>> Me and Jacob got a blind launch there.

[00:25:47]Um I think that's really held us there.

[00:25:49]>> That's banned in Merlin now, isn't it?

[00:25:50]They can't do it any of the Merlin parks.

[00:25:53]>> N it's good. They they've done something to it. I don't know what they've done to it, but launch pad's riding really cool at the moment. I enjoyed that. So, that brings us to the end of the video, guys.

[00:26:00]It's been an emotional roller coaster of a day. What do you reckon?

[00:26:04]>> Yeah, it's been good.

[00:26:06]>> So, we redeemed our day in the end, guys, because Blackpool's operations have been on point. We've been on loads of rides.

[00:26:11]>> We don't get up here much, do we? So, it's always fun to go on these sort of coasts and rides that we don't go on every day, like Fort Park and Chesterton kind of thing.

[00:26:18]>> Um, Evictus, guys, it is absolutely brilliant. The soundtrack's amazing. Um, the theming is quite cool. It's really nice. Really stylized like Icon. Um, you got a lot of the snake in the area. You don't there's no pre-show or anything.

[00:26:28]You go into the sort of little room there, don't you? You got themed bins.

[00:26:32]Themed bins. That's always cool to see.

[00:26:33]>> They got some good merch. Apparently, there's some t-shirts on the way. I recommend it, guys. If you are coming on the 13th for the VIP event, bear in mind you will only get one ride sadly. Um, >> so >> and then enjoy the rest of the time at the park if you pay the extra £10 obviously for the e ticket.

[00:26:47]>> Imagine paying just for that.

[00:26:49]>> Uh, paying just for that. That would have been I mean, I think it was £50 just to come and do evictus. Once you get a certificate, which we got, you get a lanyard. It's It is quite pricey there. So, that's why obviously me and Jacob don't get up here much either, so that's why we moaned about it. We don't like to moan about Pleasure Beach because we love this park, but if something goes a bit wrong, we will always be honest. Um, you know, if we' had two rides, I honestly think no one would have been moaning at all cuz we've met a lot of vloggers today. Quite a lot of people are moaning about the one ride. Um, and apparently the first cycle actually went twice. So, >> how is that fair?

[00:27:20]>> Yeah. So, we bumped into a lot of people who have been like, "We got two rides and obviously they're really happy about it." So, it was just a lot of money only for one ride, isn't it? Um, you know, we've had an awesome day. I'll be back up here for opening day most likely.

[00:27:32]Jacob's got like exams unfortunately, so that's why he was a little bit more heartbroken today. And, uh, yeah, that brings us to the end of the video, guys.
