[00:00:00]Guys, the NFL draft is tomorrow. Now, the Packers don't pick until Friday in round two, but it's time to take a stab at trying to predict what the Green Bay Packers and Brian Gudkunst will do in this 2026 draft with my final mockdraft.

[00:00:19]The Green Bay Packers seven round Guda predictive mockdraft. I've been doing this over the last couple of seasons and last year didn't go too well. We didn't get a single player right in that Gudaun's predictive mock just further showcasing that the Packers are very hard to predict. But the year prior in 2024, I got the first pick in Jordan Morgan, right? Second pick in Edin Cooper correct. got Katano Odapo in the fifth round and even had them draft Donovan Jennings who they ended up signing as an undrafted free agent but nonetheless four players technically correct in that mock draft. [00:01:03]I keep going back and forth on particular players in certain rounds and with the Packers not owning a first round pick and less draft compensation, it makes it that much harder. But I'm going to give it my best shot. I'll be releasing videos breaking down each prospect after each pick over the weekend. Packers pick at 52.

[00:02:27]I said it in my personal mock. I don't see them trading up. If they do, maybe a couple picks if a player's starting to slide that they are really, really high on. I honestly believe there's more chance that they could trade down. And that's what I might end up doing depending on how the board falls in this Gutakun's predictive mockdraft. But first, before we dive in, I want to go over my Gout 25 list. These are the top 25 players that I believe have the best chances to become Green Bay Packers all the way from the start of the second round to the seventh round/ undrafted as well. Just want to quickly run over this and hopefully I can get a good amount of players correct out of this 25. I have Lee Hunter, Christian Miller, Mike Washington, Dennis Sutton, Jennings Dunker, Dominique Orange, Romelo Height, Dalon Everett, Julian Neil, Malik Muhammad, Ted Hurst, Jean Stribbling, Sam Roush, Brian Parker, Austin Barber, Trey Zoo, Will Lee, Eli Raridon, Caleb Proctor, Damonte Kart, Charles Demings, Kayn Black, Jordan Vandenberg, Michael Heldman, and Andre Fuller. Really hoping I can get a handful of players correct out of this 25. Going through all their thresholds and what the Packers typically like to draft and what they need. I have good confidence in this top 25 list here. So, let's dive into the draft and get to our pick. All right, so we're on the clock at 52. Let's go over the top five picks. We have Mendoza at one, Ree at two, Mago at three, Tate at four, Bailey at five. Let's go over the top 10 picks or the most recent 10 picks before the Packers pick. Kristen Miller at 41. I have him on the Packers list just for the off chance that they do slightly trade up or if for some reason he slides. I don't see him sliding to 52. If he is at 52, I think that's the Packers pick. I just don't see that happening. But I wanted to include him on my top 25 list again just in case that the Packers do slightly trade up to go grab him. We have Lommo at 42, Pregnon at 43, Hill at 44, Allen at 45, Jacob Rodriguez at 46, Brandon Cece is another player that I don't think he'll be available at 52, but if he were, that could be a Packers player there. Chris Brazelle at 48, Gabe Ais at 49, Goldie at 50, Sters at 51. I I I've kind of pondered the thought of Eli Sters being the potential Packers pick. They have two receivers that are gone and Dobs and Wixs.

[00:04:50]Uh Ster's more of that move tight end can play big slot. It's an interesting thought now. He goes before the Packers pick here, but even if he was available, I don't know if I'd be willing to pull that trigger in my Gudaun predictive mock. So, we're at 52 and a lot of the players at the top, I don't necessarily think the Packers would draft. We have R.M. Mason Thomas, a shorter, lighter edge, albeit I I think he has a lot of talent. D'Angelo Ponds, who I just drafted in my personal mock if you want to go watch that, I think is completely off the Packers radar due to being 5'9, 173 at cornerback. Keyn Rutled, a pure guard. They tend to like tackles that can play guard. Lee Hunter is on my list, but I do question if they're willing to spend a high pick on a nose tackle that didn't really test well.

[00:05:37]Now, don't get me wrong, nose tackle, RS isn't as important for the Packers. You saw it with TJ Sllayton, John Ford, but it those are late round picks. If they're willing to spend a second round pick on a nose tackle, similarly to Kenny Clark in the first round on a nose tackle, Kenny Clark had just under an 8.0, where Lee Hunter is about half of that at 4.12.

[00:06:01]Don't get me wrong, I love the thought of Lee Hunter in this Packers defense.

[00:06:06]Plugs right into the middle of that defense, but he's also not a three- down player. And it's like, will the Packers spend in a year that they don't have a first round draft pick, which is unlike the Packers, will they spend that on a non threeown player? That's kind of where I'm questioning going someone like Lee Hunter. Stokes is an amazing player.

[00:06:25]It's more of a safety nickel. They have Javon Bullard and they have two great safeties. Would they go receiver this early? They had a top 30 visit with AJ Holly. Will they spend it at a position that they already have two great starters at? Mike Washington is kind of the first one here that feels like a Packers style player. Derek Moore as well and Jennings Dunker. Those are definitely three options, but in terms of consensus, they're pretty far down.

[00:06:49]And there's other options down here that I have tied to the Green Bay Packers.

[00:06:54]So, I'm going to trade down simply because Kristen Miller, Chris Johnson, Cece, even Gabe Ais are all off the board. I'm going to slightly trade down probably to around 60ish and pick up another draft pick, which I'm all for the Packers doing and I think they could do. So, I'm going to trade down with the New England Patriots all the way to 63.

[00:07:17]So, we're dropping 11 picks, but we're going to be picking up two additional picks in this draft with the Packers trading for Micah Parsons, losing two first round picks. Yes, they traded away Wixs and got back a fifth round. We know how the Packers love to have a ton of draft picks. In years past, they had like 10 to 11 draft picks. So, for them to trade down and pick up two additional draft picks really does feel like a Packers and Gudakun's move. And the Patriots are a team that has a plethora of draft picks. And if they want to trade up to grab a player at 52, swap 52 and 63. We're picking up Chicago's original pick at 125, getting an additional fourth round pick there, and picking up 202. So, we're going to go ahead and send that trade. That's exact trade chart. So, if you're wondering how I come up with that trade, Rich Hill chart basically assigns a point value to each draft pick, and we're equaling out that point value between the Patriots and the Packers there. Let's get to our pick at 63. So, we're on the clock at 63 and the players that went, Patriots traded up and selected Lee Hunter. That could be an interesting thought if the Packers trade out of there with Lee Hunter on the board and he goes watch his career over the next few years. See how he does, right? Armason Thomas, we talked about Ponds, we talked about Mike Washington to the Bears. Man, that would be that would be interesting because he's definitely a player I could see the Packers going after. Do the Bears necessarily need him? Hey, why not? We have Rutled the true guard. Holy at uh to the Texans. Stokes to the Bears, man.

[00:08:41]If the Bears get Washington and Stokes, that'd be a pretty decent haul. I'm not going to lie. Branch to the Rams and Derek Moore to the Broncos. So Derrick Moore is another player that I liked for the Packers at edge. But honestly, someone that I feel like just fits the Packers more in the second round at edge is Deny Dennis Sutton from Penn State.

[00:09:03]He's going to be my pick after a slight trade down. I've gone back and forth between different players, different positions, and the Packers simply invest a lot at the edge rusher position. I mean, hey, they drafted Lucas Vaness, they drafted two edge rushers last year.

[00:09:18]They traded for Micah Parsons, but through all of that, they still let go over 1,200 snaps in edge rusher play this off season with Rashawn Garry and Kingsland Bar. And that was with Micah Parsons on the team. So, they lost a lot of snaps. And I have faith in Baron Serell. I really like Colin Oliver.

[00:09:37]Brettton Cox Jr. is solid rotational guy. Lucas Van Ness was having a really solid season before his foot injury, but there's a lot of uncertainty there between all of them. There's not like a true, okay, that's 100% going to be our starter, whereas last year we went into the season with, okay, we know Rashan Gary's going to be the starter opposite Micah Parsons. We have Eniggari who can start as well, and he did some of those games, but you lost both of those guys.

[00:10:01]and deny Dennis Sutton is someone that just really fits the bill at edge rusher for the Green Bay Packers and in their new three four scheme. He can play outside, he can help against the run, and he's really good at getting after the quarterback. A lot of these edge rushers around this mark are simply pass rush specialists and they need to work on their run defense. Where Dennis Sutton, I don't believe it's that. I think he's all around an excellent edge rusher. 65 265, eight sacks this past season, nine sacks the year before. Good run defense 77.7. Run stop rate 5.8%. 8% pass rush win rate 15.8%.

[00:10:33]A lot of snaps over the last three seasons. And if you look at his testing, this is a Packers edge through and through. 33.3 inch arms 9.96 RS. He has the size at 65 almost 66. They love at least back within the 34 days edge rushers would be 6'5 or 66 around 260 and above with elite speed and elite explosion. They love their edges with elite explosion. 39 and a half inch vertical, 10 foot 11 broad jump. To me, this just feels like the right call for the Green Bay Packers and Brian Gudikun and I think he's truly a player that is on their board and honestly they could select him at 52. I'm doing a slight trade down to kind of match value here and I would love the Packers to do the same if it's applicable. But obviously boards can be completely different.

[00:11:19]Consensus is one thing. What teams and GMs have on their board is a completely different thing. We know this every single year when we think, "Oh, this player won't be there. This player won't fall." And we see that happen every single time. In my Jordan Morgan pick, I traded down and selected Morgan. They ended up staying put at what, 25 and selecting him anyways. So, that could happen here as well. But, we are going deny Dennis Sutton edge out of Penn State in this Brian Gudakun's predictive mock after trading down, but still selecting in the second round. So, we're back on the clock at 84 and some of the picks before us between our last pick and this pick. Three receivers that if the Packers go receiver in the third round, I think it's going to be one of these three. Ted Hurst, Dejon Strebling, Bryce Lance. They all went before this pick at 84. And honestly, I think that could happen. I think Ted Hurst is a late riser. A lot of people think, okay, he can fall to the Packers in the fourth round at at 120 or whatnot. I think he goes in the third round. And honestly, he could go before pick 84. So, at this point, I think wide receiver would be off the board for the Green Bay Packers.

[00:12:23]And I do see those three going before the Packers pick. So, then we rotate into cornerback. And quarterback is a position of desperate need for the Packers. Arguably more of a need than edge, but you can never have enough edge rushers. And when your pass rush looks good, so does your quarterback group.

[00:12:40]Right now, under contract in 2027, Benjamin Staint juiced. That's it.

[00:12:45]hasn't played a snap for the Packers.

[00:12:46]That's the only quarterback under contract. Guda Coun yesterday said, "We are going to add numbers, plural numbers to the quarterback room." So, spoiler alert, I'm going to draft at least two in this draft. And it's going to start here in round three, and it's going to be the most Packersesque quarterback in this zone. And that's going to be Dalon Everett. Don't get me wrong, I love Davis and Ignosen. I might like him better than Dalon Everett, but athletically he doesn't really fit that threshold that the Packers usually like at cornerback. Malik Muhammad I like more than both of these guys. Little bit light. His RS I think he comes in at 181. I think he plays more around 190 191 still albeit a couple pounds lighter than the Packers like. I think he'll be on their board but I think they'll take a look at Dalon Everett and they'll go this is our guy. Look at the athletic profile. He's a Georgia Bulldog defender. They love the Georgia Bulldog defender tree. Like when you look at this athletic profile and you see the Georgia Bulldog logo and it's a defender, you almost kind of have to heavily tie them to the Green Bay Packers throughout the entire process.

[00:13:54]And and I'm doing it here in the final one because the Packers have a desperate need of quarterback. And Dalon Everett fits right into that spot. 61 196 perfectly fits their threshold. Great speed, 43840. Good 20 yard, good 10 yard, good explosion with a nice 37 and a half inch vertical. And again, if you compare him to Igmanosen, you can see here size. Egmanosen a little bit lighter than they like, like five pounds or so. Not great vertical, not the fastest guy. I love Ignosen. I think schematically he fits really well to what the Packers are going to build under Ganon. And Dalon Everett does too, in my opinion. Uh you can see here he allowed 38 receptions on 68 targets, 440 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and 84.2 2 passer rating allowed and that's against a lot of good quarterbacks and a lot of good wide receivers. What I also really really like about Everett and why I continue to time to the Green Bay Packers is his run defense. This guy is not afraid to come up, get in the run lanes, make a tackle, get physical. 90.1 run defense grade this past season. And that's what the Packers like their boundary cornerbacks to do. This pick just makes a lot of sense for the Packers. If they don't go, even if they go quarterback in the second round, they could go quarterback yet again in the third with Dalon Everett. Honestly, I wouldn't be super super shocked if they trade down into the second and Everett is their first pick. So, I'm going Dalon Everett, cornerback out of Georgia here at 84.

[00:15:15]So, now we have two picks in the fourth round due to that trade down in the second round. We pick at 120 and we pick at 125. This is where I think the Packers, regardless of if they have an additional fourth, if they make that trade or even if they just have the 1/4th, my pick's going to be Trey Zoo out of Texas A&M, they have a desperate need at depth on the offensive line. And whether you think it's guard or tackle that's more that needs more depth, well, well, Trey Zun can give you depth at pretty much every position. I think he could play all five if he needed to.

[00:15:45]Shawn Ryan goes down. Trey Zun plug into center who played some center this past year. uh also took snaps I believe at the senior bowl. You need a guard if Belton goes down or Banks goes down or or there's some poor play there. Trey Zoo kicking a guard probably his more natural position than tackle at the NFL.

[00:16:02]You you need a tackle if Morgan doesn't play well or something of that sort.

[00:16:06]Tom's not ready to go week one. Trey Zoo plug into tackle and his athletic profile, you guessed it, off the charts.

[00:16:14]I think all three players have had a 9.96 and above. And that's not on accident because the Packers love their athletes. And Gudakun has gone on record saying, "Oh, he doesn't know what RA is." And and that might be true, but the numbers don't lie when it's an athlete in terms of their speed, explosion, agility, and size. Packers like players that test out well in those regards, and Zoo is that. Now, he's slightly shorter arms, 32 and a half inch. Even though he's nearly 67, 65 and a half, 312 pounds. You would think you see that size and you go tackle. Well, his arms arms are a little shorter, and that's why I think he could kick into guard. He could be a center. He has elite speed with a 5-second 40. His elite explosion.

[00:16:53]Now, he didn't test agility, but and the Packers love their their agility grades for their for their offensive lineman, especially the interior, but I think he would have tested well nonetheless. He's a great great athlete and just makes a lot of sense. He played left tackle and center this past year, allowed two sacks, seven hurries, one hit, run block grade 59.7. He had the highest pass block grade in PFF history for offensive linemen at 96.8.

[00:17:17]Has played a ton of snaps over the last three years. He was senior senior bowl participant. Packers love those type of players with a lot of experience, especially offensive linemen that are tackles at on their team that could kick into guard and play different positions.

[00:17:30]It's a Packers player. We're going Trey Zoon at 120. With our next pick in the fourth round at 125, we're going to go with a player that was a top 30 visit for the Green Bay Packers in a position that they met with the second most of.

[00:17:43]Cornerback was number one. They met with five quarterbacks, top 30. They also met with three three tech defensive linemen in their top 30. One of which was Caleb Proctor. And this really feels like that Carl Brooks pick from a few years ago. A player that I really like that has climbed up boards. Maybe they end up getting him in the fourth or fifth round. and he falls a little bit similar to to Carl Brooks, but nonetheless is going to be a target for the Green Bay Packers. And with this additional fourth round pick due to trading down, it makes a lot of sense. The Packers only have two three-tech players under contract for 2027. And one is Javon Hargra that they just signed who maybe doesn't even make it to that second year of his deal.

[00:18:20]We'll see. Another one's Warren Brinson, a six- round pick out of last year.

[00:18:23]Wyatt will be a free agent in 2027. I I think they give him an extension, but we'll see how that goes. Carl Brooks will be a free agent in 2027. And I could fully see them moving on from Carl Brooks and replacing him with someone like Caleb Proctor who comes in off a nine sack season, an 86.5 grade, 13.7 pass rush win rate, pass rush grade of 90.4.

[00:18:45]He comes in as a great athlete at a 9.15 RS. A little bit undized for a defensive tackle, but he's if he's going to play three, maybe some five-tech, he can do so and rush the passer out of that spot.

[00:18:55]61 almost 6'2, 291, elite explosion and elite speed. 9.15 and 33 inch arms. So although he's a little bit shorter, he has 33 inch arms. I really like the thought of Caleb Proctor here in the fourth or fifth round for the Green Bay Packers. They met with him. They've been eyeing three tech defensive tackles a ton. It makes a lot of sense. He comes in at 121 consensus. And after going offensive line in the trenches, let's load up on defensive line in the trenches with Caleb Proctor here at 125.

[00:19:26]We're back on the clock here in the fifth round. and we have a pick at 153 and also a pick at 160. Now, a position that I think the Packers, and I talked about it earlier, will 100% double dip into, maybe even get three, is cornerback. And a player that they have met with that I'm pretty high on in the fifth round, I think offers a ton of depth right away. And special teams contributor is Charles or Chuck Demings from Stephen F. Austin. You can see this past couple of seasons some great grades. Now, the competition definitely lower, but he has showcased his talent at outside cornerback. He allowed 18 receptions all three seasons in a row, which is actually crazy. It's the first time I noticed that. 37 targets this past year, 246 yards, allowed one touchdown, was around the football a lot, had four interceptions, and a lot of quarterback rating of 39.8 when targeted. If we go ahead and look at his profile, athletically, he fits the bill again for the Packers. 9.10 10 61 193 right on the cusp of that weight.

[00:20:27]Elite explosion a 42 inch vertical with great speed 44140. Good 20 yard split.

[00:20:33]10 yard split a little bit lacking but nonetheless great top end speed for for Demings here. And you already got Dalon Everett. He's someone that can day one fight for a starting gig. You you signed St. Juice in the offseason. You're going to have a ton of competition and you want that. You want the best duo to win, whether that is Nixon, Valentine, Nixon and Everett or St. Juice or all a whole new duo and maybe Everett and St. Juice.

[00:21:00]And you also have Demings in terms of depth. Bo Melton, they resigned. I I think he's just going to be a receiver for us this next year after letting Dobs walk, trading away Wixs. I don't know if they'll go receiver super early. I'm not in this predictive goomach. I think they will get one and I probably will in the sixth or seventh round, but I think we could very well see two cornerbacks before we see a wide receiver. And if it's Everett and Demings, it makes a lot of sense. They had a top 30 visit with him. He gives you special teams contribution day one as a gunner, which the Packers investing more in special teams. Uh with KMA Cord now as their special teams coordinator, maybe they're trying to change it up there, get more special teamers. They signed Sky Moore in free agency, draft a quarterback in the fifth round. that gives you great depth at the boundary, but also a special teamer in Chuck Deming. So, we are going Demings here at 153 from Stephen F. Austin. With our next pick in the fifth round, we're going to go running back. Could the Packers go running back earlier than the fifth round? Yeah, I think so. I think honestly every pick is on the table for a running back. The way this fell for me, it just feels right in the fifth round after getting a lot of positions of need and edge, cornerback twice, tackle, defensive line. You can get some great value in the fifth, sixth, even seventh round at running back. And and this is this is hard at 160. It's between three for me for the Packers.

[00:22:23]Now, my personal mock, I went Claybourne. I don't know if the Packers go Claybourne. I think it's between three here. Nick Singleton, Kron Allen, and Kayn Black. My heart is telling me Kaylin Black, even though he's significantly lower on consensus, he actually comes in at 194. Singleton's a good player, but it does make you wonder. I know Penn State wasn't good, but pretty much got benched for Kron Allen. I I would feel Kron Allen would be the better pick here for the Green Bay Packers. Now, Kron didn't test and Singleton didn't test. Singleton comes in at 6' 219, 25 bench reps. Allen comes in at 5'11, 216. So similar there, but Kayn Black did test and he comes in a little bit shorter at 59 211, but has elite speed and elite explosion for that running back spot. And to me, I think Kayn Black is just the cleaner pick here. Singleton and Allen may be ranked higher. That's never stopped the Packers. They went Evan Williams in the fourth, who I believe was very, very much lower on on the consensus. And look how that turned out. They're not just going to go by consensus. No team does.

[00:23:28]They're going to go by who they like.

[00:23:30]And I just feel like they like Kayn Black at running back from Indiana.

[00:23:35]Coming off a thousand yard season, 5.6 per attempt, 10 touchdowns, not really utilized much in the receiving game. He feels like the running back that that could replace Josh Jacobs truly. And off the rip can be your running back number two in this system. Don't know what you're getting out of Marshon Lloyd.

[00:23:51]Maybe he plays, maybe he doesn't. Who knows? Don't even worry about that.

[00:23:54]Draft one. You resigned Chris Brooks, but he lost Emanuel Wilson. You don't have that number two in case Josh Jacobs needs a breather or he's out with injury. Who's going to be that number two? It's a big gap right now. I don't know if Chris Brooks could do it. We don't even know if Marshon Lloyd is going to be available. So, we're going to go Kaylin Black running back in Indiana here at pick 160. So, we have four picks left in this mock draft. So far, we've got an edge. We've got two cornerbacks. We got tackle or just O line in general. Zun can play pretty much all five spots. We got a three-tech and Caleb Proctor. And we got a running back. some of the positions that the Packers likely will address in this draft that we've yet to address.

[00:24:33]Quarterback, tight end, nose tackle, linebacker, maybe even a safety. They met with what, three different safeties.

[00:24:42]Actually, I think one um was was proven to not be a actual me. Jan Gaston was his name that had that horrible RS. If you looked at my top 30 visits, there was some news that came out, I think yesterday, that the Packers actually didn't meet with him, even though he posted pictures of him at the facility.

[00:24:58]I I don't know the the story behind that, but nonetheless, the Packers met with two safeties. Do I see them going safety in this draft? They could later rounds, but I think there's a much bigger need at tight end, quarterback.

[00:25:10]You need a backup right now. You only have Desmond Ritter and Kyle McCord. I don't think either of those will be your backup. Maybe the Packers trade a sixth or seventh round pick for a backup quarterback. That could definitely be the option. But I'm going to go Cade Clubnick here, quarterback out of Clemson. After a pretty disappointing 2025, after a very very good 2024, he seems like a good candidate to fall in the draft to round this spot. And the Packers decide to call his name and and get him in the building to potentially become the next quarterback number two of the Green Bay Packers. Clubnick is pretty undersized at 6'2 210, but he has decent mobility. He can throw off platform. It just feels like a quarterback that the Packers would like to have into the building to build as their quarterback number two. You know, this last season, nearly 3,000 yards, 65.2 completion percentage, 16 touchdowns, six picks. You bet look back in 2024, 36 touchdowns, six picks, a quarterback rating of 104.4.

[00:26:08]I think the Packers definitely get a quarterback in this draft. Sixth to seventh round feels right for me. So we are going Cade Clubnneck quarterback out of Clemson at 2011. And we're back on the clock at 202 here. At our next pick, we're going to go tight end. Right now it's Craft Musgrave WY. They have Swinson and Dabney practice squad guys.

[00:26:26]Uh John Fitzpatrick is a player that they kind of need to replace in terms of snapshare. And in 2027, they don't have a single tight end under contract. Now Tucker Craft is going to get a deal. We know this. But then we only have one tight end under contract in 2027.

[00:26:40]Honestly, tight end is a position that I could see them go much earlier than the sixth round. I could see them go Sam Roush or Eli Raridon in the third to fourth round. I could totally see them doing that. And and right here I do like Riley Novakovski. He he is a player that I think plugs into more of a Hback role, a inline tight end role, but they might want to replace what they're losing with Musgrave or what they will be losing with Musgrave. And for me, that's going to be Matthew Hibner here in the sixth round. Coming off a 436 yard season. He has a 54.5 contested catch rate, drop rate really low at 3.1%, decent run block grade at 60.4. And if you look at his RAIS, a 9.25, and he has some moving speed at 64 251, a 45740.

[00:27:26]Great 20 yard split, great 10 yard split, great vertical. And if you compare the two, Matthew Hibner and Luke Musgrave, Musgrave slightly better of an athlete here due to him being nearly 6'6 compared to Hibner being at 6'4, but similar weight. Hibner much stronger. So that kind of, you know, can translate to the run blocking game, pass blocking game. 40-yard dash, he's faster. 20 yard split slightly slower. 10 yard split slightly slower. About the same vertical, lower broad jump, about the same shuttle, slightly better. Three cone significantly worse. But this is a six round tight end versus a second round tight end. And unfortunately, I just don't see Musgrave turning out into much. And I see him playing through this last season. If they draft someone like Hibner, maybe even losing his job in this season to someone like Hibner or whatever tight end they may end up drafting in this draft. Hibner to me is a solid option in the sixth round. So, we're going tight end Matthew Hibner out of SMU at 202. In the seventh round, we have two more picks at 236 and 255.

[00:28:22]We've yet to go for a wide receiver, and this is where we're going to do it in the seventh round. The Packers brought in Sky Moore. Maybe they see him as a contributor on offense in a depth receiver role as the fifth wide receiver. Nonetheless, a special teams player. Bo Melton, they resigned. Again, I see him being a wide receiver, but let's get a little bit of depth here.

[00:28:39]Get a player that has some upside.

[00:28:41]You're drafting in the seventh round.

[00:28:43]And I have talked about J. Michael Sturdivvent a lot, but it's going to be Caleb Douglas out of Texas Tech. coming off back-to-back 800 plus yard seasons, 15.7 yards per catch this last year, seven touchdowns, outside wide receiver, 54 receptions on 93 targets. Contested catch rate lower than you'd like for a 6'4205 receiver. If you go ahead and look at his RA, 950 Ras. He comes in at 63 and a half 206 and ran a 43940. If that doesn't feel like a Packers wide receiver, then I don't know what does.

[00:29:15]So, with our second to final pick, we're going to go Caleb Douglas, receiver out of Texas Tech. With our final pick, there's a couple options. Now, the Packers in this mock still have yet to draft a nose tackle. Will they draft a nose tackle? Are they simply just going to try to load up on defensive line talent regardless and hope that someone like Nazir Stackhouse does well or an undrafted free agent? You can find nose tackles as undrafted free agents. Look at Nazir Stackhouse, who a lot of people thought would have been drafted, went undrafted. So, in theory, yeah, we could go, you know, someone like Devin Eastern here, who's a nose tackle for sure. 66 320. He could be a priority undrafted free agent. Does he get drafted in the seventh round? Someone that I think definitely gets drafted and might maybe earlier than seventh round and the Packers have had a visit with is Michael Heldman. Edge out of Central Michigan coming off a 12 sack season, a 93.2 grade in 321 pass rush snaps. again had 12 sacks, five hits, 36 hurries. A pass rush win rate absolutely absurd at 26.4%.

[00:30:19]Really solid run defense grade 2 at 83 87.3, excuse me, and a run stop rate at 7.5%. If the Packers maybe see someone like Colin Oliver as more of a offball linebacker in this Ganon scheme scheme, which they very much could, moving back to a 34, maybe they add two edge rushers in this class. So, Michael Heldman is definitely a great option here. If they want to go for someone a third quarterback, Toriano Pride from Missouri is an option. I'm comfortable with the two corners we got with Everett and Demings both in the top five rounds. I'd be comfortable with that to not get a third. So, to me, it's between edge and interior defensive line. What can you get more value out of in undrafted? Nose tackle or edge? I would argue it's definitely nose tackle.

[00:31:05]So, we're gonna go Michael Heldman, Edge out of Central Michigan, who the Packers have met with. And honestly, I could see him flying up boards and going in the fifth to sixth round and it being the Packers selection. And that's kind of why I'm also doing this here. We're going to go Michael Heldman with our final pick at 255 edge out of Central Michigan. All right, ladies and gentlemen. I'm actually very happy with this. I'm confident saying that.

[00:31:28]Probably will get none right, but we're trying here. I I think a lot of my basis on a lot of these picks makes sense for goodun, makes sense for the Green Bay Packers. First, we trade down picking up two additional picks, a fourth round and a sixth round with the Patriots who have a lot of draft picks. And we go deny Dennis Sutton at 63, a player that feels like a Green Bay Packer. And all of these players honestly feel like a Green Bay Packer. They met with a lot of them.

[00:31:53]They they test highly a lot of them athletically. Positions of need. Edge is one of them. You may not think so. You might think, well, they drafted Sell and Oliver. They were prepared for this. Yes and no. There's still a big uncertainty.

[00:32:06]And if Michael Parsons can't go until week four, that's going to be a rough four weeks. I'm not saying someone like Deny Dennis Sutton something's going to come in and replicate what Parsons is going to do. But it's going to help.

[00:32:16]It's definitely going to help having more depth and having more rotation, keeping guys fresh until Parsons comes back and can play that 85 80% snap share that we're used to seeing. But until that point, big question mark there. So deny Dennis Sutton makes a lot of sense.

[00:32:30]Dalon Everett in the third. Again, this is a player that if there's a one quarterback in this area, second, third, fourth round that I had to tie to the Packers, it's Denon Everett. Georgia Bulldog tested very well. Boundary corner fits their scheme. Good run defense. It makes a lot of sense.

[00:32:47]Similarly to to the lineman here, to Dre Zoo. If there's one offensive lineman overall, tackle, guard, center, doesn't matter that I tie to the Packers, it's Tre Zoo. It's a guy that can play all five spots, likely kicks to the interior in his future in the NFL. They need interior depth and a guy that could play tackle in a pinch. Caleb Proctor at defensive line makes sense. Hargrave and Branson are the only two three techs under roster in 2027. I think they bring back Wyatt for 2027 and beyond, but Proctor could easily replace uh Carl Brooks, what he what he's given to the Packers, maybe even more. As much as I love Carl Brooks, he's he's had a bad couple of seasons. Then we go Chuck Demings in the fifth round. Packers are going to double dip at corner. You can almost bet that. And Chuck Demings is someone they've met with. He's a special teamer day one. Good quarterback depth otherwise. Kaylin Black in the fifth.

[00:33:32]He's a running back that uh to me just feels like the Packers would have him high on their board. Uh you know, there's other options in the fifth.

[00:33:40]Maybe they go running back earlier.

[00:33:41]Maybe they even go Mike Washington in the second. Honestly, I know I keep saying it and I sound like a broken record, but I'm just saying it because I think it's a real option. But if they don't, fifth round, sixth round, that feels right for a running back. Kaylin Black's my pick. We go quarterback in the sixth. They could go quarterback slightly earlier with someone like Drew Aller. Uh I I don't want them to because last time with Clifford they went early.

[00:34:00]It wouldn't work out too well. Kate Clubick feels like a player that they could bring into the building to help build and kind of refine him as a quarterback, but he offers you a lot of upside and in the sixth round you're you're taking that risk to get a good backup hopefully. Then with our second six round pick due to that first trade with the Patriots, we go tight end Matthew Hibner who I think would replace what the Packers are expecting out of Musgrave or expected out of Musgrave.

[00:34:25]Craft will be back. They need another vertical style tight end like Musgrave.

[00:34:30]They need tight end depth regardless and Hibner fits that bill for them. Seventh round we go receiver and edge. We go Caleb Douglas, taller outside receiver, good athlete, 800 yard seasons the past two years. They need some wide receiver depth. And then we go Michael Heldman, who again I think could go in the fifth or sixth round to the Green Bay Packers.

[00:34:47]Uh if he does fall out of the seventh, I'd be almost guaranteeing the Packers select him in the seventh. Uh due to tons of pass rush production over the over the past couple of seasons, especially last year, 26.5 pass rush win rate is absolutely absurd. And they lost two edge rushers, 1,200 snaps. So drafting two, I think makes a lot of sense. Drafting two corners, drafting two edge rushers, two positions of desperate need on that defense. drafting a defensive lineman. Sure, I didn't get a nose tackle. The Packers don't value nose tackle that much. They really don't. Maybe they'll draft him in the seventh round, but to me, undrafted, bet on Nazir Stackhouse. You traded away Wooden. Wasn't really a true nose tackle. You brought back John Ford. Bet on those guys. Maybe bring in other undrafted free agent like Devin Eastern and let the best man win. You don't have to spend a ton of capital or money unless nowadays like Dexter Lawrence making that much money. He's absurd at nose tackle. So maybe they'll value it more now, but to me it just didn't make a lot of sense with all the other needs and all the other players that were on the board available. The tradowns will help because I gained an additional two picks. That gives me a better chance of getting some of these players right. But I think the Packers could trade down and garner more draft picks with this tradeown. That gives them 10 draft picks. Right now they have eight. The Packers love to be around that nine, 10, 11 draft pick mark. So, gaining an additional pick. They already did so with Wix. It makes sense. Let me know your thoughts of this mock draft down below.
