This sermon by Matias Arvitzon at Jesus House London teaches that readiness to obey God's call requires developing a consistent rhythm of prayer, worship, and engagement with Scripture. Using his personal journey from Sweden to ministry, including resigning from his job to follow God's leading, he demonstrates that readiness comes through daily spiritual disciplines rather than spontaneous decisions. The key principle is that when God calls us to 'go,' we must be prepared to respond obediently, whether for small daily tasks or significant life changes. This readiness is developed through regular prayer, Bible study, and community fellowship, creating a lifestyle where obedience becomes natural rather than forced.

Good morning to everybody here at the base, to those worshiping with us online, and to everybody at the hub.
I'm so glad to have you here with us here at Jesus' house. And if you're worshiping with us for the very first time, you are very, very welcome. The psalmist once said, "I was glad when they said onto us, let us go into the house of the Lord." And so, I want us to just embody that sentiment as we worship here today. In fact, I want you to turn to someone beside you and tell them, "I'm glad to see you in the presence of God."
Amen. Hallelujah. Let us rise as we pray.
Father in heaven, thank you for the opportunity to be in your presence.
Thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for being true to your word and your mercy upon our lives. Lord, we pray that today you inhabit our praises. We pray that you dwell in our worship. We pray that you move within our midst. And we pray for everyone that is tapped into this service and worshiping you, oh God.
I pray, Father, that you meet us at the exact point of our need in Jesus' name.
Give us a testimony to go home with in Jesus' name. Thank you for who you are.
Receive all the glory, the honor, and the praise. And right now, I'm just going to hand over to the wonderful tribe of Judah. Be blessed in Jesus' name.
>> Amen.

Just want to continue in this atmosphere of worship as we go the prayer for revival. Um I wanted to share a couple of thoughts that I had towards uh revival. Um particularly in the UK. Um we've been doing this. Um, I remember when we started doing this with the Union Jack on the back, um, billowing as we would pray for revival. And when I was younger, um, I didn't fully understand, um, you know, what this revival, how how it would pan out. I would think to myself, am I going to go to school the next day and will I suddenly see everybody is Christian? Um, but later on, I started to think, you know, what is a nation? A nation is made of a society. It's made of societies. It's made of communities. It's made of families. And families are made of individuals.
So that's the first point. And we would also pray about an outpouring of the spirit. So if we look at um John 7 uh 38 says he who believes in me as the scripture has said out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
And I think of an analogy we are vessels as I look towards everyone here we are vessels of the Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit is already in the nation and we are all we are also individuals in the nation in our families in our communities in our societies.
So when we're thinking about the outpouring of the spirit when I think of the analogy how do you get water to come out of a cup? You have to tilt.
So how are we tilting? Where are we tilting into?
Are we tilting or are we standing upright? I feel like tilting can be a bit precarious. It can be almost a bit frightening. But if we're tilting against the cross and we're held up, then we know that we are supported and we can have the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that's within us. So, if you could join me, if you bow your heads in prayer in Jesus name, thank you Lord for the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord, for the sacrifice of your son, Jesus Christ, that has sanctified us and washed us clean, making us vessels that now hold the Holy Spirit. Now, when we go out into our families, into our communities, into our societies, help us knowing how to tilt. Show us where we need to tilt.
Help us not to hinder this tilting so that there can be an outpouring of this living water that's dwelling within us.
to the people that we speak to, to the people that we work with, to our own families, to the all the different aspects of where we are in the Holy Spirit is already in the nation. We are the individuals that are in the nation and we are part of this nation. We are citizens, yes, of the kingdom to come.
But this Holy Spirit is alive and working within us now. So I pray Lord that you encourage us to tilt in all the different areas that we are in. And we need not be afraid of the tilting. We need not be afraid of how precarious it may feel because you are the one who is continually supporting us. You are the one who's continually upholding us and propping us up so that we can continually tilt and let the Holy Spirit outpour from us. I thank you Lord in Jesus name. Encourage us in this week as we go forward now. Where can we tilt?
Where can we tilt in our family? Even if it's something small cuz we know that that living water is powerful. It's enough.
Thank you Lord. In Jesus name we have prayed.
>> Amen. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the service.
In the same vein of prayer, whether you're at the base, at the hub, or online, we'll be praying for the persecuted church. So, as I was preparing this, the Holy Spirit immediately brought to mind Paul and Silas in the book of Acts. Before I go and read the passage, um I'm just going to give some context. So essentially Paul had demonstrated God's power um by delivering this demon-possessed girl who was enslaved by these Roman men who were um essentially just taking advantage of her ability to predict the future. So Paul had come in in Acts 16 19 to 25.
When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.
They brought them before the magistrates and said, "These men are Jews and are throwing our city in an uproar by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice." The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods.
After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.
About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Just like Paul and Silas, there are followers today of Christ who are um brutally beaten and put in jail and face discrimination. And even for some of them, they are killed. They lose their lives just because they share the same faith as you and I. However, something remarkable and profound in the text is that we see Paul and Silas respond to the persecution with praise and thanksgiving. Despite the physical pain that they went through, despite the injustice that they had, being thrown into jail, they still decided to magnify God above their circumstances. So, as we pray for the persecuted church, I just want to use this passage and ask God to empower those who are being persecuted to be able to still praise, to be able to still pray to God, um, even in the circumstances that they face. Um, and specifically just to pray that God will revive prayer lives that has dwindled and give them a new song to sing in honor of him. So, let's pray, church.
Father, today we commit the persecuted church in your hands. As your word says, in this life we face many tribulations, but we can take heart. We can be brave as Jesus has overcome the world. With that truth, Father, empower those who are being persecuted. Keep help them to keep praying, to keep praising even when it doesn't make sense. So God that your name will be magnified above the circumstances and that they will witness your mighty miracles in their lives in the mighty name of Jesus. Finally, Lord, help us to remember the persecuted church to keep lifting them up in prayer in all that we do in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Thank you and please enjoy the rest of the service.
Good morning, church.
>> Just waiting for Kimmy to get here.
>> No waiting. Time's on.
>> We're on the timer. Good morning, church. Um, my name is Bod. It's my wife, Kem. Um, we want to introduce the marriage ministry, Jesus House, to you.
uh we know listening to us here uh you guys here at the base the guys at the hub welcome and all our family online as well this is for all of us >> yes so in terms of our in today it's really three one just to remind everyone because we all know that the Jesus house family is changing is expanding and there are people who have joined in the last few years who may not know much about the marriage ministry so we just want to maybe share so that you know how we can support you. So the first thing is that our vision is to come alongside people um to build Christc centered marriages that will last a lifetime and be a legacy to the world and um we do this in three ways. Touchy please come.
So we have what we do with um a married singles um like touchy in the becoming team. I'm going to give you a minute to talk. And then we also have the premarital classes. Um we have people joining from all over the world. So that's what we do for people preparing for marriage. And then we have what we do to enrich marriages. So some of you already know about our quarterly prayer meetings. Um three-fold chord. And then of course you know last year we had 25th the 25th anniversary of couples weekend away. This year we're not having couples weekend away. We're having a couples away day on the 25th of July. And then of course we also support couples going through a hard time. So restoring marriages as well.
>> So just to recap events that are happening right now. First thing we help um so just to recap events that are happening uh right now. Um first and foremost would be the um the becoming event and touchy will talk about that.
But be um also to highlight the 25th of July. We've got the couple's um event on the 25th of July. Please, we have a stand outside, so there will be a lot more information out there and we'll be able to have a proper conversation with you. Um, we also wanted to highlight the fact that we're looking for mentors, marriage mentors. So, there's a marriage mentoring scheme here at Jesus House. If you join us, if you're interested in becoming a mentor, we can have further conversations with you out there at the desk. And if you want mentors, if you're want to be a mentee, it's important as well to to highlight that there will be communication going out in the week as well. email communication that would um uh give you an opportunity to have a link to let us know what sort of interest you might have in all of these areas. The final thing I'm going to say um prayer. So on the 16th of uh this month we have the three-fold called prayer meeting. The whole church we gather together online and we just pray for prayer. I mean we we pray for marriages um pray for prayer pray for marriages um uh within our church but also the wider community and of course we pray for ourselves as well.
>> Yes. And I just wanted to say because not everyone is in church and our families much more than those that attend um on Sunday that we also have an email address um tightenotes jesus.org.uk where you can email us but we will share a bit more information. Now I'm going to let TI talk about becoming and anything else.
>> Uh good morning church. Um so the main aim of becoming as its name suggests is centered around uh the theme of transformation. So it takes us on a journey where we learn through talk sessions, panels and time spent in the word how to become better versions of ourselves.
We are a community of people doing life together who want to go back to the beginning and take a peek through God's word and his perspective who we truly are. The Bible says we are body, soul, and spirit. So what does this mean when speaking about wholeness and spiritual health and how does this transformation come about? Our event on the 23rd of May will be a second part of our doing rel doing relationships well series. So, please don't let the word relationship scare you. They're not premarital classes. We will believe in that to the very talented two to become one team.
Um, and we really want to present the transformative power of God's love and his idea of who we are at the core. So, please come along on the 23rd. Uh, registration details will be available in the Jesus house newsletter and on our social media as well. Thank you, Sh.
>> Great.
>> Thank you very much for listening.
I hope you're all doing well. You're all looking amazing from up here on stage. I will be You're welcome. I will be leading us in the scripture of the week um for today and that scripture is Joshua 1:9. I think it will come up behind me and when it does it would be great if everyone at the base, everyone at the hub and everyone online can read it together. So yeah, it's there. So I'll count us down. 1 2 3. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged.
for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Thank you.
So to begin, for those that maybe don't know the context of this passage, Moses, a spiritual giant and um community leader for the Israelites, has just died. Um he will not be going to the promised land and instead the mantle for leadership has been passed over to Joshua. He is the one who will lead the Israelites to Canaan to the promised land. Now this is a promise that has been 400 years in the making. And yet at the start of this passage and also in verse 9, God is repeatedly telling Joshua to be strong and to be courageous. Now, as I was mulling over this, I just found it interesting that he's telling Joshua to be brave. He's not telling him to be calm. He's not saying that he shouldn't get too ahead of himself. He's not saying don't be too excited. He's telling him to be strong and courageous.
Now, I think this is because the promise had been so long in the making. And I'm sure Joshua was conscious of the weight of this and the fact that he had to lead the Israelites into the fulfillment of such a a well-waited promise.
I mean, in the time from God first making a covenant with Abraham to now, the Israelites had truly gone through so much. They'd been slaves in Egypt.
They'd escaped captivity. They'd fought many battles. They'd disobeyed God. They turned their back on him. They'd worshiped false gods and idols. The journey to get here had been far from linear. They'd had so much back and forth with the Lord. So, if I put myself in Joshua's shoes in the natural, it might have almost felt like the Israelites didn't even deserve to see this promise come to pass. It's possible that Joshua assumed that all the baggage of history and circumstance meant that the Israelites would never see the fulfillment of God's word. It could have felt almost too good to be true. And yet, in God's infinite mercy, his promise is that he will remain with the Israelites. So if I can take a step back for a moment and be transparent as I was preparing this kind of reflection, I was challenged myself because I see so much of myself in the Israelites at times.
For example, this week I really had to contend with so many different disappointments as I feel like I'm truly wrestling with God to see certain promises come to pass in my life. And then reconciling that with the word for the year, which is to go at Jesus' house, has been very difficult if I'm being frank. And then I also know there are verses like Romans 12:12 which say, "Be steadfast in suffering and constant in prayer." But I think reflecting on this verse this week has reminded me that we can sometimes hide behind fear.
We can hide behind disappointments. We can hide behind self-doubt instead of boldly possessing the promises, the land that God has promised us to possess and commands us to possess. We become content with living an okay life or finding joy in the disappointments. And whilst I'm not saying that we shouldn't practice contentment or that there's not merit in truly taring in the place of prayer, I think what this verse reminds us is that no matter how insufficient you feel, no matter what things look like in the natural, no matter what has happened in the past, God will be with you. Through him, we can be strong and courageous as we embark on the missions he has called us to. So, in preparing today, I felt less prompted to break down this scripture line by line, but to instead just bring an encouragement to anyone that feels downcast, anyone that feels hurt by life's disappointments.
Anyone that feels insufficient for the promises that God has put over their life, God is with you wherever you go.
The simple simple command he gives you is to be strong and courageous. So, as he did with Joshua, he will equip you with everything that you need to see his promises come to pass at the appointed time.
Now, of course, there are things that we can do in practice to truly feel this strength and courage. And I think there are two kind of keys that God gives Joshua in this verse and in the rest of this passage. The first is obedience to the law, the word of God. The second is pursuing deep knowledge and understanding of the law to ensure obedience. God's word is the firm foundation on which we stand. And when we truly apply his word and his instructions to our life by being obedient, then we can truly face all of life's challenges with confidence. So I'll briefly reread the verse and then closes in prayer. So it reads, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Lord, I thank you. Lord, I thank you because you're a God that is with us. Lord, you're a God who is truly there. Lord, you are Jehovah Shama. You are the God who is there. Lord, I thank you that in you we can be strengthened. We can be equipped to face life's challenges.
Lord, that regardless of what has happened in our past, no matter what disappointments or discouragement we feel, Lord, you have commanded us to be strong and courageous, knowing that you are the rock on which we stand, Lord.
Lord, I pray that you will equip us. You will give us the grace to be obedient to your word and to your prompings, Lord, and to follow the path that you have set before us, Lord. And that we will do that boldly as we walk in step with you, Lord. I thank you, Lord. I thank you because you're a promisekeeping God. And you're a God who strengthens us. And for that we are so grateful Lord because it is not deserved. In Jesus name we have prayed. Amen.
Amen.
Um so you can't get rid of me just yet.
I do have one announcement to make before I leave the stage today and that is about prayer boot camp. So this is a kind of monthly session that we do for young adults. So anyone aged 18 and above and it's in person at the base. It is a very early wakeup call. So, it is a 6 a.m. start and it goes from 6:00 a.m.
to 9:00 a.m. And I know for some people that can be a challenge, but I hope by the end of the segment, you will feel encouraged and emboldened to join us next Saturday. So, the next prayer boot camp is Saturday, 16th of May, like I said, at 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. And I think prayer boot camp is really just a time to learn about the merits of prayer, about how to mature your prayer life. And it's also a chance to learn from others and also to learn from some of the leaders in the church about what it means to truly dig deeper in prayer and to cultivate an active and vibrant prayer life. I think it's also a time for fellowship and community. I mean a group of young people coming together at such an early time has really just meant that over the years we have really built a strong friendship and community. Um and I think I personally have found prayer boot camp to just be a great encouragement. So for example, last month we actually had a segment where we shared testimonies. And at the start, everyone was acting a bit shy and a bit bougie and didn't want to give their testimonies, but by the end we were just having testimony after testimony. And it was just so encouraging for me to see how by digging deeper in prayer and truly just believing in God to see shifts in our lives that so many people in the prayer boot camp community are seeing testimonies and just miracles happen in their life. And I think for me that was it just meant that I left the session with such a a sense of gratitude and encouragement.
I think this will, as a a quick reminder, this will also be our last prayer boot camp before we take a short break for Pursuit of God conference, which will be in June. So, this is really your your last chance for a little while to come and join us and just to see what we're all about. Um, so I hope that this has motivated some of you to join us. As I said, Saturday, 16th of May, 6:00 a.m. anyone 18 and above, young adults. Um, I look forward to seeing some of you there. Thank you.
>> Amen. Amen. Thank you, Priscilla.
Be strong and courageous Jesus house because the Lord our God is with us wherever we go. Isn't that true?
>> I was glad the Bible says the psalmist says when they said to me, "Come, let us go into the house of the Lord." If you truly are glad to be in the house of the Lord at the jihob here at the bay online, can you please put your hands together and celebrate God? Jesus house.
Celebrate God.
We really are glad for the privilege to be in his house. Thanks to Angela uh Tomminy earlier on and Vanessa for leading us in times of prayer. Thanks to our pastors of love at the Tight Knots uh team for sharing with us about uh tight knots. And um this morning I just really wanted to uh let us all know that we have the privilege uh of receiving back this year what we all know as volunteer for four uh and after what is going to be a very uh interesting, very beneficial, very spiritual but also very busy uh rest of May uh pursuit of God in June, the altar in June, uh Jesus house will be resting the workforce. Now those times of resting the workforce are actually really really great times because on the one hand people who have been at the cold face get a chance to pull back whether they're been serving over at the hub whether they're serving here at the base even online we have online hosts and online leaders and they all get to pull back and renew and refresh. Uh but as pastor Ragu has said uh that can only happen because so many of the rest of us are going to step up at that really important time. There's a short video that I'm just going to introduce to you that would explain a little bit more about this.
>> We're absolutely delighted to announce that our annual initiative volunteer for four is officially back. For those who are new to the Jesus House community, volunteer for four is that special season where members of our congregation step up to serve alongside our amazing teams for just four Sundays. It's a time when we come together to give back to those who serve so faithfully every single week. And the benefits really do go both ways. For our regular serving teams, it's a well-deserved season of rest, a chance to step back, recharge, and return feeling renewed and refreshed. For you, it's a meaningful opportunity to grow, connect, and contribute to something much bigger than yourself. Whether it's hospitality, multimedia, or any other team, there's a place for you. Our team leaders are ready to welcome your fresh faces. So, what does it look like? Recruitment started on the 26th of April. Induction and welcome evening is on Friday, 3rd July. Shadowing Sunday is 5th July. The main event of serving begins on 12th July and runs through to 2nd August.
Just four Sundays of your time and will ensure you feel fully prepared and supported every step of the way. Ready to sign up? It's simple. Scan the QR code on your screen right now. It'll take you straight to our sign up form and takes just a few minutes to complete. If you've ever thought about serving, this is your moment. We would love to see as many of you as possible get involved. scan that code, sign up, and let's do this together. God bless you and thank you.
>> And as she says, uh, our team leaders are ready to welcome your fresh faces.
If you would like to serve, I encourage you to serve. Uh, please go ahead and scan that QR code. And um it it really is um a amazing time of service uh amazing time of connection and you are going to take away a lot more from it than you could even imagine uh coming into it. So please do scan the QR code encourage others to uh uh connect to volunteer for four as well. So, I mentioned earlier on that uh May in the even in the runup to pursuit of God is going to be a busy time, but it's going to be busy in a good way. It's going to be busy in a productive way, in a spiritually profitable way. And um on the 23rd of May, there is something called the Jesus March. And between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., we all are going to tilt out of the containers that we are. You heard Tommin talk about we are repositories of the Holy Spirit, but we need to tilt.
And we have the opportunity of tilting out onto our streets into our communities physically taking our hands and our feet out of the building, out of the salt shaker into the community. So on the 23rd of May, we have a big Jesus march in central London and I'm expecting to see every single one of us there, including all of us who are worshiping online. We will come physically. We will come offline on that particular day and we are all going to be out there. Is anyone excited about this? Now, now beyond your excitement, this is spiritually very important. It's so critical that we go out there and we represent. And it's not just us in Jesus house. This is a march that's going to see lots of Christians come together, take to the streets. So, please make sure that you are there. There's going to be more information about that. This is significant because this is the Pentecost weekend. And what happened at Pentecost? The pouring out of the Holy Spirit, the tilting out of the Holy Spirit through you and through me. So, please make sure you don't miss it.
Cancel anything, remove any flights you were planning to do at that period, rearrange them, and make sure you are in London. Hope in our hearts. Joy on the streets. That is what it is called.
Amen. And and and and the Monday after that on the bank holiday Monday, the very first of the Wavely Abbeby worship festivals is going to be taking place over in Farum. Now, many of you may not have been to Wavely yet. Uh you definitely want to go to Wavely. Wavely is a uh a thousand-year-old Christian abbey right here in uh just out on the M25.
And it's going to be a great gathering, a festival, an opportunity to gather, to worship, to pray, to celebrate, to fellowship on that Easter uh Pentecost um on that Pentecost uh bank holiday Monday. And um there's going to be all sorts of ministrations there that's going to be greatly beneficial to all of us. There's going to be uh it's a kind of event that you want to look for all of your friends. I mean, you would definitely bring all your family, but you also want to bring all your friends along to that. It's going to be a celebration after the Jesus March, and we all want to be there. The festival runs from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. The one thing I didn't say about this thousand-year plus abbeby is that God is renewing it for this generation and for future generations. Please church, let's make sure we don't miss these really important opportunities that are taking place uh this uh this May as we come up to the pursuit of God.
And then the uh uh last thing I wanted to to mention is about the altar. Anyone here excited about the altar? Anyone at the Ghob excited about the altar? Anyone worshiping online excited about the altar? I'm not feeling that excitement quite yet.
Well, well, even if it's not showing outside, I hope your spirits are bubbling over with excitement because I has not seen air has not heard what God has got in store even for this year's altar. What is an altar? It It's a meeting place. It's a place where heaven meets the earth. It's a place where uh heaven meets London meets the United Kingdom, you know, and there is going to be an explosion. Whatever it is we've seen, whatever it is we've heard, whatever it is we've experienced in the altars up to this point so far, please just know or prepare your hearts for so much more than that. The tickets have already uh gone out. I'm sure as the Jesus House family, you've all signed up. And just in case you have not, please um I think they are available on the uh uh OO website. There is a video about the altar. I'm just going to let you take that in as well.
>> Hallelujah.
Jesus. Oh, you reign with power. You reign with might. You reign forever. And the heavens rejoice as the earth. You reign.
Hallelujah.
Jesus. You might reign with strength. You reign with glory. Yes.
Yes. You reign.
Hallelujah.
Jesus.
Hallelujah.
Jesus rain.
There will never be a God like you.
>> No. No. No. No. No. There will never be a God like.
There will never be a God like you.
>> Amen. Amen. The amazing Chvel Franklin uh will be at altar 2026. Just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been giving faithfully to the altar. It's an investment in what God is doing. It's a building of the tabernacle. You know, God gave Moses uh the master plan for the building of the tabernacle in in in the Old Testament.
And then he brought the workers, the Bezale and the Ohabs, and they were the ones who actually went around doing the marshalling, the parking, the ushering and all the other volunteering opportunities. And then God asked the congregation to give. And the Bible records that they gave until they exceeded what was required. So much so that the word that God gave to Moses on that occasion was tell them to stop giving. Just tell them to stop giving. May that be our testimony and more that we will give even to exceed the work of building this altar, this tabernacle, you know, as we continue to trust God uh to meet the budget. Uh it's exciting to be able to um uh just really bless God because uh pastor has talked about the cost of pulling that altar together. But of course, we know that God resources it from heaven himself. He just happens to resource it through you and through me.
And the total cost of the altar is about £334,000 uh for this year. Because of the generosity from last year and the exceeding work that happened, there was some monies left over that covered some of that budget which meant that the amount of money that we needed to raise for this year's altar is £300,000.
And you would have seen okay well in fact you can already see right now that of that 334,000 which is the overall amount the total amount that has been raised so far is £189,000.
Brothers and sisters worshippers online can we put our hands and our hearts together and just celebrate the Lord who has done mighty things. So far, would you know even as we was predicted or or prophesied or said that even in the runup to today uh one person gave a gift of £100,000 towards this altar and that's why we are galloping beyond halfway mark. Now, our prayer is this, that the rest of the people that the Lord has ministered to to give a £100,000 plus, £50,000, whatever the amounts are, that we would all find a place to plug in into the building of this altar. There is a pie chart that kind of explains how we can all plug in and how we can find ourselves uh in in wherever it is that God has spoken to us, enabled us into.
Can I have the pie chart uh please? That kind of just really uh explains how you know as an idea uh this is how many people can give at £200, give £100, give £50, £1,000, give £2,000.
God is going to speak to you. The Holy Spirit inside of us is going to tell us exactly where to plug in. Let us be like the children of Israel who did exceedingly more uh so that we can even once again be able to pay some of it forward into the year uh ahead. And uh yes, that's that pie chart that I was looking for. And then straight off the back of that where you can really plug yourself into as we meet and exceed this target. Um I'm now going to ask that you please bring up the slide. Yes. that shows the various different ways in which we can connect. So, let's go ahead and carry on giving. Let's uh uh uh scan the QR code, make uh do the transfers, uh pick up an envelope, do whatever it is that is laid on your heart to do uh over at the GI Hub um online as well. We will build this altar. the presence of God will meet the United Kingdom and there will be a transformation in the mighty name of Jesus. How many people are looking forward to May to June and uh make sure those of you who are not serving now also sign up to volunteer for four. The one thing I forgot to mention earlier on about the uh the Wavely Abbe Festival is that our very own tribe of Judah will also be on the center stage ministering at the Wavely Abbe Festival. So, thank you tribe of Judah. We really do look forward to your ministration and looking forward to a really wonderful season as the Holy Spirit burst forth. Now to uh carry on in this service, we I'm going to invite us to open our hearts, open up our spirits because today's ministration is going to be brought from one of our own, our very blessed Matias. Please make him welcome as he brings the words today. Welcome, Matias.
>> Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
And um yeah, a happy birthday to our pastor IO today as well.
So, thank you so much for um having me here this morning. It's a huge privilege to share the word of God with you. And um for you uh that don't know who I am, my name is Matias Arvitzon. Um I'm married to Lyanna. I have a daughter called Judith. uh and um we are very very happy to be part of this church and serve alongside you all here. Um my background is that I came from oh I was born in Sweden. Um experienced early in my life a calling uh to to go into ministry and and um um went into Bible college and then started to work uh in a in a church in Stockholm uh called City Church. And um because I was brought up in church, I I had lot of experience of being in church and doing church and speak Christianes as we say here and and so on. But I felt I lacked um experience of being outside church being where most people are in their reality. I know everything in us inside church but I was not comfortable outside church. So, um, after being working in a church for a while, I I went to one of those old tent meetings.
I don't know if you ever been on a tent meeting. Um, in the summer is dusty floors and and and and very warm and but lovely atmosphere. And um that that uh morning um my heart was really touched by uh the preacher and I felt convicted that God told me, "You need to leave church, your church or your job right now and go out and get experience from working in a more normal environment."
And I was very tired. I I was crying. I was, you know, down in the dust on my knees and and and feeling that dust and gravel in in my face. Um, and it really spoke to me and I I made a decision. Uh, I will follow this. Uh so I did that and worked um in in different areas in sales mainly in in in software sales and um but I always of course carried uh that minister mysterial heart my my pastoral heart with me and I continue to serve in church but one day um we we me and my friend we worked at this company and we had tried to serve the company well and uh at Christmas we we bought Bibles to to all employees and we try to be good Christians. Um but then one day I felt God spoke to me and said, "Matias, it's time for you to resign."
Okay.
What do you want me to do now?
I want you to resign in faith.
So I did.
But it was not easy. It was not like God just opened the door immediately. It took time. I had to take another job for a while whilst whilst God is was leading me. But I was willing to go.
And then I decided to to uh finish my pastoral training and applied for for for for that. And as I did that, my my my church asked, "Can you come back and and become the youth pastor?" Um so I did that and in that journey um God you know it's it's this let me come back I the title for my sermon is are you ready to go and I share with you a couple of examples from my life for you to get to know me but also give you examples of what go can look like because we have had a word for this year as a church. It is to go and we have talked about it over the last few months about how we can go and go in the presence of God and we don't want to go if the God's presence isn't there. And so today I will share how when we searching God's presence and we experience the presence of God, God is changing us and we can develop a routine a rhythm in our life where God that where you always are ready to go.
So are you with me? If I share a little bit from my life, you get to know me and then I have some word and we will we will uh uh I will teach from uh Josiah uh Isaiah uh six um and and uh from there we will we'll um I will challenge you. So um in the name of Jesus, come do your work with uh with us today Lord. In the name of Jesus, we thank you that you are here. We thank you that your word is powerful Lord and thank you that you are so interested in each one of us Lord and you want to take us on a journey of go and we thank you for that in Jesus name.
>> Amen.
>> So starting this role in in in youth ministry um we were a couple of people working together and we we gathered maybe 40 50 young people on a Friday evening and and um we had a good time.
But during my training and we were talking a lot about having visions and I felt I I started to pray God give me a vision. Give me a vision. This is nice to have 40 50 people here but I want more. And I felt God wanted more.
And one day God gave me a vision. He I was scribbling on a paper and and I'm not very good at at at writing or or my wife is agreeing uh but but what came out was a net that was not too hard even I could manage that and I felt God said I want you to start something that we call the net internet was just starting to to become a big things we thought yeah that connects but it's also a fishing net a net of of of reaching people of of gathering people and and and seeing the harvest of God.
And and I got there and I got together with with some of my my my best friends and we started to pray into this visioning into that how could this look like? Because God gave me a picture. I saw the church where we were in and the whole church was full of young people.
That what I saw in front of my eyes, a full house, not that little youth room that we have over there and you can maybe gather 50 60 people.
But that was on my heart. And when we uh had had had gathered things and we we come together, we decided to present this to the leadership of the church and and they were yeah they thought it was okay and said yeah maybe you could start in the chapel it it can gather maybe 100 or 200 or something like that and in our case about 100. I said, "No, God has showed me the church and it will be full of young people."
And after praying um together, we decided, let's go. Let's go with what God has shown you. And we started this ministry and we were praying, we're preparing, and we uh we're very excited to start this. And the first Saturday about 500 young people came and that continued for about five to six years. We gathered but bi-weekly on Saturdays where God came and we have three hours first of of of live music of interviews and and and um uh just having a lot of fun and then we had an hour of worship and then we was preaching and we had ministering and then we after after that was finished we opened up our coffee shop and and and and uh we we stayed there during the night and it was amazing time and it was amazing to see what the vision that God gave, but we chose to go with it as a church and and we saw that explode and bless the city of Stockholm and and a lot of my friends and a lot of people started to find their purpose, find their their their calling and and and so on. I had about between 60 and 80 volunteers uh and and they they really grow um over this time.
And you know how it is in the beginning, it's hard. You have to do all the work yourself. the whole week you're just preparing and you traveling things you you're building the stage or whatever and putting in lights and whatever is but after a while you're building a team you're coming together and and and and people are growing in that goal.
So sometimes the vision can be very clear and and very spiritual.
Sometimes it about resigning from a job.
But it can also be sometimes that you have to let go. Not only the go, sometimes you have to leave things that are standing here because God is moving you into a new season.
Just as we as a church are moving into a new season because God has said go and God is preparing our heart, our soul to to do a new work here in Brent Cross, here in London. God is doing something new and we are in a season where where we are pursuing God through his presence and that will mean that things will change and often when you ask people do you want change yes we want change and then you ask do you want to change no no no I don't want to change but today I will share how you can develop a rhythm in your life so whenever Whenever God say go, even if it's small or if it's big, you are ready to go.
When pastor Argo called me on Thursday afternoon, Matias, can you preach on Sunday?
God has already put a word in my heart on the Wednesday at the connect group. I know this is what I will preach. He said, you have a blank paper. You can preach on whatever you want. But yeah, probably something around go.
But I was prepared because the last over my life I've been prepared. I would been willing but since I started to join this church and become a part of the church, God has developed a rhythm in my life that makes me ready to go in the small and in the big.
I will tell you this was not the case for my life. I I've developed something and I feel stable. I not that I'm strong or I'm special, but through the process of this church, I have developed something in my life that carries in different areas of my life.
When I join pastor Bunme in the time to pray, every morning, Monday to Friday, you're building something, a routine that prepares you dayto day.
Every lunchtime I call my prayer triplet and we pray together.
Sometimes for 15 minutes, something for an hour, sometimes for an hour depending on our schedules. Every evening I have something with the church. It might be the Bible study on the Monday. It might be the prayer group on the front on the Tuesday. It might be the connect group on the Wednesday. But I also later in the evenings I often pray my with my prayer triplets again. I develop a rhythm not out of of legalism but out of life. A rhythm. I feel I'm I'm feeling better. I feel more comfortable with God.
And you have different rhythms in your life. But maybe God want to stir something up that you make changes, shift shifts in your life. So you are ready to go when God calls you.
Because after five years, I will just share this as well. When we have have done this for five years and everyone finding their place, I felt God said, "Matias, it's time to close down the net."
And was probably the hardest decision in in ministry I had had to take. But we are so successful.
We have so much fun. People really love this. It's the best thing. But no, sometimes things need to die. So something new can grow in its place.
But the thing is when that happen we we we we get um we can get get scary or scared.
So when we go into a new season, there might be changes and you might not feel as comfortable as you've been coming here on the Sunday for years and years, but God want to challenge you.
And I felt this morning, God woke me up at 4 this morning. Uh and and said, but just pray for unity. Pray for unity. And he gave me this word from from John 17 uh verse 22. uh and the uh and Jesus is praying for us as disciples and he says um and the glory which you gave me I have given them that they may be one just as we are one. So let us stand to our feet and just pray for unity for two seconds as well. In the name of Jesus we thank you Lord that you have given us the glory of God. You have given us your glory Lord just as Jesus received your glory and lived in your glory Lord. I pray now that your glory will be poured out over us as a people that we stand together in unity. Lord, we pray that you stand together in unity in Jesus' name. I pray that nothing will come in on the journey when we say go Lord Jesus and draws us away from that it start to become divisions. No, in the name of Jesus, we declare we standing together in love, Lord. We encourage each other.
We stand with each other in our differences Lord. But I pray Lord Jesus we will not let any division come into the church in the name of Jesus. We speaks um no selfishness no no no no pride no uh discomfort will hinder us from walking uh the walk that you have have shared with us that you have pointed to us in the name of Jesus. Lord we thank you for unity in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen.
That's a tough thing when you try to listen to the Holy Spirit. You have prepared something that oh I need to put that in as well. You know trying to be flexible. Blessed are the flexible says my lead pastor. Um when when we when we started this the net uh um let us read from um Isaiah uh the sixth chapter.
And now I just need to put in the password to my wife's uh computer.
Her fingerprints work well. Yes.
In the year that King Usha died, I saw the Lord sitting on the throne high and lifted up and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above it stood Saraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
And one cried to one another and said, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth is full of his glory.
And the post of the door was shaken by the voice of him who cried out. And the house was filled with smoke. So I said, "Woe is me, for I am undone, cuz I'm a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of people of unclean lips, for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts." Then one of the seraraphim flew to me having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs of the altar. And he touched my mouth with it and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips. Your iniquity is taken away and your sin purged."
Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I.
Send me."
Amen. Amen.
So, um, in the Bible, we can read and and and I love this this this scripture. It's such a powerful description of of God and the throne room and and and how the presence of God just filling every space um around him and and and but something happens when we meet God that closely when we have such a personal encounter with God. something happens, something triggers in us and we realize how small and fragile and in desperate need we are of of of of God himself to intervene into our life.
There is a gap between the glory of God and the lack of glory in my life.
But developing a a rhythm of being ready is developing a daily recommmitment to God. A daily repentance to God. A daily where you you just realign and allow God's God's presence to to change us, to transform us.
We see a other descriptions in the Bible from from Revelation. Uh four for example is another mighty description um of the four living creatures each having six wings were full of eyes around and within and they do not not rest day or night saying holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come.
And whenever living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the 24 elders fell fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever and cast their crowns before the throne and saying, "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power for you created all those things and by your will they exist and were created.
And sometimes when we come together and and you you have you know that over the last six seven weeks we have tried to to give more room for worship to seek the face of God and we trying to to to have more encounters because we really want the presence of God to go with us and be with us because we know that there we are transformed to his likeness.
But sometimes we think that it's always those big visions or these big mighty uh where where God shows his glory.
But sometimes it is in the daytoday experiences that looks very very different from falling down on your face and and and and the robe of God is filling the room.
And and one scripture, one one one um story from the Bible that I really love is from from Luke. Um and it's um about where where after Jesus has has been risen from the dead dead uh a couple of disciples are walking uh and and being confused uh about the situation.
Um Luke 24 uh verse 13-17 says, "Now behold, two of them were traveling the same day to a village called Emos, which was even uh 7 miles from Jerusalem, and they talked together of all the things that had happened. So it was while they conversed and reasoned that Jesus himself draw near and went with them, but their eyes were restrained, so they did not know him." And he said to him, "What kind of conversation is it that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?"
And you know, sometimes that is exactly what's happening in your life. you're living doing your daytoday life maybe with your friends, with your husband, with your wife and and you're having those conversations uh and and and all of a sudden uh God comes along and and and nudge you in a certain direction and you start to talk about something and stir something up and you you have questions and uh and and and it's not until later you realize that it was Jesus that were there and gave you those nudges. He was there.
Even if you were not aware of it at the moment, you didn't see him, but he was there. But it's first with a perspective of time, you realize that he'd been with me the whole way.
And it says um in in verse 27 that in beginning of Moses and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scripture the things concerning himself.
So it can be when you go to the Bible study with Pastor Batch on on on a Monday evening, the word becomes live.
Something you see Jesus in the Bible in a new way. God speaks to you when you read your Bible and and all a sudden you have this encounter just by reading the Bible. It's not maybe big and wow, but it's something that start to speak to you and nudge you and change you.
And at the end of this story in verse 32, they said and to one another, do not did not our heart burn within us while he talked with us on the road and while he opened the scriptures to us. So sometimes it it is in reading the Bible.
Sometimes it is in the communion because it was in the communion uh when they shared the the bread and the wine that Jesus uh was revealed. They saw oh it's Jesus that is here.
So don't despise the things that you do on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday at the connect room or you come here to church or or you you're talking with your friends or praying with your friends. Jesus is there and sometimes he reveals for that he is there because he's with you every day in all circumstances he is walking he is so interested of in of of of leading you and guiding you and sometimes it seems so small 15 years ago uh Lena was offered a job here in in UK I was studying at the university at the time and our daughter was five thought good time to we're not bound on too much and can be fun little thing to do for two years. But as good Christians um we we thought okay we need to pray to God is this you know is it just something fun or something that is on your heart and we pray God lead us is this the right decision to go to another country another go and one night God woke me up and I he said to me you will be a blessing to a guy called Ian or a woman called meen At first I was very excited because God had never gave given me names before.
The other part of it was the pride. Oh, I thought at least we will see some revival, you know, to to have some impact. But okay, a blessing for an Ian and a Marine.
I shared it with Lea um and and we decided to go on that word that we would be a blessing for two people.
At the moment we landed six weeks later from from the decision we we we were here in UK and within two weeks we had met both Moren that was our neighbor and Ian that welcomed us to church on the second Sunday. We were there and and you know this is weird that her name is you know those things or his name you know but but okay let let's just leave it at that for a while but the year went I didn't find a job lea didn't sell anything for the first here and we start wow we can't even afford to move back to Sweden again.
But about that time both Marine and Ian came.
You have been such a blessing to us. Ian and his wife had prayed for Ian to get new male friends.
It was an answer to their prayer that we came.
Marine had been praying, "Let someone move in next to us that has a child because our daughter is lonely."
And we've moved in and our daughters became really good friends.
So, we got encouraged. Yes, it was God that said those little words and we went on them and we stood on them.
And the same Ian just a week later too, we had a prayer meeting or or a connect group or something like that and he saw a picture of a floodgate opening and within three months we got a we got to rent a house in Virginia water for £800 a month. 800. We paid 1,500 I think for our little flat that we lived in before.
Lyanna, I got a job at a local charity, a Christian charity working with homeless 16 and 17 year old.
Lyanna started to sell within three months. She had reached sold over 120% of her quotota and was like sale saleswoman of the year and we got to go to to Miami on a winner circle trip all paid.
God is orchestrating when we say yes to the small little you will be a blessing to that person. So when God knocks on your door, on your heart's door and say, "Go knock on your neighbor's door, call that person, pray for that person, take that initiative, take the bold step of changing job, starting initiative, pray for that revival, for that start of that youth ministry."
And I have a prophetic word for for the youth and for the young adults.
You can also go where God wants to to to lead you. I want to encourage you. It was not that I was special, but God wants to do something in your generation, and he's already doing it all over this country. God is doing it.
It can happen here at Jesus' house as well. So, be bold and courageous. Don't stop in your your prayer to see that that happening because God is on your case. He is urging you. Yes, you're praying on the Saturday mornings. He's teaching you. But I say be bold. Ask God to give the vision that will transform the young adults in this area, in this church in Jesus' name. Be bold. Be courageous.
If we look at the text um when Isaiah met with w with with with with God and God revealed uh to him he he he repented. He felt a need to to repent from the sin in his life. He realizes how small he was.
And maybe you you you had never felt that before that God has actually what is it? What is it that that hinders me from living in a close relationship with God? That there is a gap.
When I went to Bible college, I remember we we we learned this little um you know from Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, and Romans 10 9-10.
It gives you the gospel and explains why there is a gap, why we need to repent.
For it says in 3:23 in Romans, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrate his love towards us that in while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
And Romans 10:9-10 said that if you confess with your mouth that Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with a heart one believes unto righteousness, and with a mouth confession is made unto salvation.
2 Corinthians said uh in the 12th chapter and verse 9-10 explain this further and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me therefore I take pleasure infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
And Ephesians 2 verse 4-10 says, "But God who is rich in mercy because of his great love which he has loved us even when we were dead in trespasses made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved and raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. that in ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith that not of yourself. It is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepare prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
So today know that God has created good works. He has prepared those good works that you should walk in.
So when God say go, make sure that you are ready to go.
Develop a rhythm of life in prayer in in in the word in fellowship of of pursuing the presence of God and the daily repentance daily. So when God says whom shall I send and who will go for us? You can boldly and be encourageous and say here am I send me.
>> Amen. Amen. Amen.
So for you that are online or um at the base here or at the hub, if you want to make a decision this morning or God has has stirred your spirit and you realize, I need God. I need the touch of God. But before I close, I also want to change you um uh and challenge you. So please stand to your feet.
One day when I was I came back home in the afternoon, I've been away the whole day. I come home, sat down in my sofa, and two seconds later, I rose again, and I told Lena, I need to go to Tesco's in in Churchy.
I normally don't go there, but I just felt God told me to go and she was, "Oh, you just came home. Wh what what what is this?" But I jumped in my car and started to drive. And we lived in Virginia water at the time. And on the way to Curtsy, there's a a bridge over the M3. And as I came to that bridge, a young woman was climbing up on the edge of the the bridge on a way to jump. And I hit the brakes, ran out on the car, and managed to grab her.
Some other cars stopped, and we called the police and and and we we could help her. Um sometimes when God say take that walk instead than your normal walk, just do this. Be obedient when God calls you because then you will start to discover that the life with Christ is exciting.
That woman got saved from killing herself that day. Not thanks to me but thank to God that called us.
So this morning when God say go and if you prophetically want to say Jesus next time you say go even if it's to knock on my neighbor's door or if start a new ministry I will go. So we take a few minutes just come to the front here if you want to say yes I want to go. Yes I want to go. I am ready to go. And if I'm not ready to go, make me ready. Give me that Lord that I need. I want to follow you. I want to become obedient to you in the name of Jesus. Come to the front of you. Say, I want to be part of what you're doing here at Jesus house. What you're doing here in London today, this year, in the name of Jesus. Be bold and say, I don't want to hold back on any longer. I want to be part of what you are doing. come to the front just as a prophetic act. I am ready. I want to say yes and create in me a clean heart. Create in me a willingness to go. So in Jesus' name, are you ready to go? In that case, go.
In Jesus' name, we have prayed.
You call me out upon the waters, the great unknown.
within may fail.
And there I find you in the mystery and oceanions deep.
My faith will stand and I will call upon your name.
and keep my eyes above the waves.
When oions rise, my soul will rest in your embrace.

Yeah, indeed. We bless you, Lord. We just honor your name. Truly, you are the hallowed one. You are the holy one, the king of Zion. We reverence you this afternoon. We bless you. We thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for all that you're doing in our midst. Thank you for an awesome time in your presence this afternoon. Thank you for a word that challenged us down to our deepest core. Thank you so much, Lord. Thank you, Father. Ladies and gentlemen, let's just once more, let's just appreciate the gift of God in Matias this afternoon and the word the the the word in season that he brought to us. Can I invite you to please take your seats as we um take our offering this afternoon?
And wherever you are, whether you're online, whether you're at the hub, or whether you're right here with us, let us just begin to start thinking about our offerings. Now, I just want to bring a word of encouragement as we prepare our offerings today. And I'm going to bring it to us from 2 Kings chapter 3 verse 17. That's 2 Kings 3:1 17. And it says, "For this is what the Lord says. You will see neither rain nor wind yet this valley will be filled with water and you your cattle and your other animals will drink. Now this story is about King Jehoshaphat the king of Israel who partnered with the king of um Edom to go and help support King Joram of Israel to quell the rebellion from the people of Moab. And you know they decided they were led to go through the desert of Edom and they ran out of water and it became dire. It became so dire that they obviously they knew that they needed help. So they called on God and asked you know asked for a prophet and the prophet brought them that word a word of encouragement to tell them that even if you don't see what you need I've got you. And that's the word I bring to you today. If we read further on, you know, it says, and I'm not Elisha, but you just have to deal with me today and just take the word from me because in word in verse 18, the Bible goes on to say this is an easy thing in the hands of the Lord. So whatever it is, whatever is happening, it's an easy thing. Whatever you need from God, it's an easy thing in his hands.
And verse 30 then goes on to testify that the next morning about the time for offering the sacrifice there it was water flowing from the direction of Edom and the land was filled with water. We will testify no matter what it is there will be that testimony in the name of Jesus. So today as we prepare our tithes and our offerings, I want us to remember that we are giving to honor a God who is able to provide whatever we need even when there is nothing tangible showing that is possible because for him it's very very easy. So I want you to link your offering, whatever you're giving, whatever you're bringing, I want you to link it in faith to a God who is not limited by things that are seen, things that are tangible. I want you to link it to the God of infinite possibilities, the one who can do anything for us.
So, as we begin to prepare our offerings, wherever you are, on the screen in front of you will be the different ways you know you can that you can give. And if you do want to give in cash and you're in the auditorium here at the base today, please use one of the envelopes from the seat in front of you.
But I want to also remind you to please complete the envelope fully so that administratively it will be easy to allocate the funds accordingly. So please don't just take an envelope fill it fill in all the details with your name and all the details that are requested on it.
Let us pray. Heavenly Father we just thank you. Thank you Lord God Almighty for the gifts that you've given us.
Thank you for everything that we will be doing with those gifts Lord God. Father, as we prepare them, we ask that you bless them. We ask, Lord God, that you remind us that these things are easy for you, everything is easy for you. So Lord, I just pray that you will bring that ease into every life under the sound of my voice. In the name of Jesus, Father, we just thank you. We bless you in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Amen. Amen. Thank you. I will hand over back to the choir.
>> Amen. If you've done your offering, can we invite you to stand with us as we just exalt God for being the promiseke keeper?
When he says a thing, it is done.
God of Abraham, you're the God of covenant.

Time and time again, you have proven.

And let my heart land. When you speak a word, it'll come to pass.
Great is your faithfulness to me.
Great is your faithfulness to me.
>> From the rising, from the rising sun to the setting, I will praise your name.
Great is your faithfulness to me. Oh, you are faithful. Oh God, you alone. Oh father, you alone. Oh God, God from age to age.
God, from age to age, though the earth may pass away, your word remains the same.
History can prove there's nothing you can do. You're faithful and true. Though the storms may come and the winds may blow, I'll remain steadfast.
And let my heart learn. When you speak a word, it will come to pass.
Great is your faithfulness.
Is that your testimony, church? Great is your faithfulness.
From the rising of the sun, from the rising sun to the setting, I will praise your name. Oh Lord, away is your faithfulness.
Though I bought my faith, I put my faith in Jesus.
My anchor to the ground, my hope and the foundation.
He'll never let me. I've got my faith in Jesus.
I to the ground.

Oh, what an awesome service we have had right from fresh fire all the way through. Let us give a round of applause to Father. God is good. God is good.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
Before we bring the service to a close, I have a few announcements I'd uh like to share with us. Just a reminder really that um please send in your testimonies.
The we have been having uh wonderful, miraculous, glorious two months I would say if not more than that. I am sure very sure that they are testimonies. So please let's send the testimonies in. Scan the QR code behind me and just share your testimony. Let's encourage one another. Let's build each other up. Let's strengthen each other with the things that God has done in our lives so that everybody who is waiting and still waiting can stand hopeful knowing fully well that their time will also come. So please share your testimonies. Also also today um is um um I was just trying to remember the date. Um today's the Sunday the 10th of May and um we have two of our leaders whom whose birthday it is today. Pastor Ayadi and Dickin Lola. We just want to say happy birthday. Happy birthday to both of you.
Happy birthday.
I'm sure it is going to be a wonderful day because you started it with God. So it will be a wonderful day indeed. Happy birthday sir. Happy birthday, Lola.
Okay, so we've had an awesome time in God's presence. And before we close the service, um can we just thank God for the grace in Matias Matias's life? Thank you. Thank you, Matias. Thank you for being ready. Thank you for being ready.
And for all of us, I have a question. Are you ready to go?
Are you ready?
Depending on what you answer, let me encourage you. Make yourself ready.
Develop a rhythm. Prayer. Worship the word of God.
Listen and obey.
And let the Lord tilt you. And know this, Jesus is with you. And if like Joshua, you come to the type of a wall of Jericho, know this and be certain that Jesus himself will show up just like he did at the wall of Jericho. So as we go, if we will stand up, I'll just like to close us out in a word of prayer.
Oh, thank you. I do this a lot when I get excited. Um, I just like to know if there's anyone worshiping with us for the very first time here at the base or online. If you're online, would you please just raise a virtual hand? But if you're here at the base, could you wave at me?
Please just wave at me. Anyone? Oh, wonderful. Awesome. Awesome. I almost missed you. How could I? Welcome to Jesus House. Welcome to Jesus House. We welcome you with all our love. Welcome.
Thank you so much for being here. Thank you.
And also, if you wouldn't mind, there's a QR code on the on up there if you wouldn't mind scanning it. We just want to be able to connect with you, share the things that we're doing here with um with you and also you would have the opportunity to connect with us as well.
So welcome everyone who is joining us for the very first time.
God really bless you. So father god we really do thank you so so so so much for today. We thank you for your word for your encouragement and we thank you father for that which you have shared with us. We know that you are with us and as we go, you will manifest yourself. So Lord, we pre we present ourselves to you this week and as we go on into the rest of the year and the rest of our lives. Lord, you tilt us out when you want. Oh Lord, we are willing and we are ready. So do all that it is that you have purposed. And so we go in your name this week into all that we need to do. Thank you for being with us.
Uh in the name of Jesus Christ we go.
Amen. Amen. Have a wonderful, successful and beautiful week. See you next week.
