[00:00:28]The president was asked about remarks made by his sister, Senator Imee Marcos.

[00:00:33]The senator claimed that the president and his allies are pushing to amend the constitution to let him stay in power.

[00:00:54]President Marcos departed today for his four-day state visit to Japan.

[00:00:59]His visit is upon the invitation of the Japanese government. The president is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. He will also have an audience with their majesties, the emperor and empress at the Imperial Palace for a welcome ceremony and a state call.

[00:01:16]Marcos is expected to push for a stronger collaboration in various areas of interest, including defense, maritime security, and energy resilience.

[00:01:27]The Office of the Ombudsman will file a flood control-related plunder case against Senator Jinggoy Estrada.

[00:01:35]Ombudsman Jesus Carpio Morales says they hope to file the case before the [snorts] Sandiganbayan this Thursday.

[00:01:42]Estrada earlier described the plunder case as baffling and unjust.

[00:01:47]He said there's no record showing that he introduced any insertions into the 2025 national budget.

[00:01:55]The firearms registered under the name of Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa is now recommended for cancellation.

[00:02:03]This was disclosed by the PNP Firearms and Explosives Office.

[00:02:08]The NBI earlier requested the cancellation after dela Rosa was tagged as armed and dangerous by the bureau. An arrest warrant has been issued against the senator by the International Criminal Court. The Firearms and Explosives Office says they have established the grounds for the cancellation of dela Rosa's firearms registration.

[00:02:30]The ground is under Section 4G of the law of the RA 10591. That is there is a pending criminal case where the impossible penalty is more than 2 years. And we all know that the crime has more than that.
