[00:00:00]The Meghalaya government has constituted a judicial commission of inquiry to investigate the circumstances that led to the violence and social unrest that erupted in Garo Hills on March 9th over filing of nominations [music] for the GHADC election. The judicial commission of inquiry has been constituted to investigate [music] the circumstances leading to the disturbances, the alleged administrative lapses, [music] and the ensuing loss of lives and property. So, in a notification [music] issued by state government, the commission has been constituted under [music] section 3 of the Commission of Inquiry Act 1952 with retired judge Justice [music] T. Vaiphei appointed as the chairman of the inquiry panel.
