Eurovision Grand Final: My Honest OverviewHinzugefügt:
Another day, another sleigh. I'm finally finishing my overviewing series of the Eurovision 2026 and I will be finally able to move on to other projects. Do I really want to analyze the grand final?
I do not know. I already analyzed and did a lot in the semi-finals. But yeah, I sort of need to finish the series.
Last video's intro was 4 minutes long.
So, let's just get into it. Let's start off with the United Kingdom. We have one point in total, zero from the public, unsurprising, and one from the juries.
The United Kingdom does not really understand Eurovision. You can have a song like May Mueller did, but you can have no vocal like all the Alexander, he also had the song, but no vocal means most likely no end result. And then we've also seen UK send artists with good vocals, but the song is ass. This year, you could say that none of those factors were true. The song was really just not really too listenable, not really too streamable, pretty irritating and obnoxious. The staging was good. I enjoyed the staging. I think they sort of did the most they could. And I think that Look, Mom, no computer really performed it well. Like no matter in what sort of position he was, he was singing consistently well. I will congratulate him on the fact that he got Austrians to sing along with him. He said ein, they said zai. Like that is so smart and so easy when you have a public which can speak German. Obviously they would be screaming by anyway even if they didn't know how to speak German because it is so simple. But the fact that they are Austrian they already speak German. Like that's maybe some extra motivation. The Ukrainian jurors gave United Kingdom one point. I'm surprised it didn't give any points to Germany. I was like, if Germany is going to get points with the juries from someone, it is going to be Ukraine. It was not Ukraine. Ukraine gave one to United Kingdom. Really, if not some political aspects, United Kingdom would have had a double zero, which this song really did not deserve. So, props to that. Next up, we have Austria. I'm really happy for him. Six points. He got one from the Juries. Who was it?
Luxmbourg and he got or five. Yeah. From from Germany.
Exactly. I thought that Germany was going to finish last in the grand final.
That being the UK. I thought that Ukraine will give like you know both Germany and the UK points. I still thought Germany will finish last because they did think that Austria was going to get four points from Germany. Now we saw that Ukraine did not give any points to Germany but Germany still somehow did not finish last. But if you're talking about Austria, just a really decent performance for his age. He is a really mature artist. Of course, the dancers and like the LED floor, it's really hard to match things like that. I think it'll be even better to like either you perfect it absolutely to like a,000% or you don't do the sort of matching syncing things. It's really hard to like replicate to like perfection. But yeah, tan shines. Streaming numbers were pretty decent in Germany. So I expected them to get points from there. Next is Germany. 12 points overall. Is with the public and talking from the jury. That's too much. Let's let's see who I can criticize from the juries. The Belgium juries, the Bulgarian jurors, Gooners, the Italian juries, but I mean you can criticize them as much as you want.
They're the most random jury pan. And the Portuguese jurors. I always thought that they respected something more artistic and this is the least artistic as you can really get. So I am disappointed in Portugal. Zero from the public. No matter in what community I was chatting in, I would say what country is going to put Germany in your top 10. And we can see what happened.
Next up we have little 22 points. My country. We got absolutely betrayed by the immigrants. I guess this shows that immigrants also do have taste. you cannot just solely rely on them. And now they've also changed the voting system that like for example in the UK our biggest like spawn point checkpoint you can only vote via internet now and not with sim card. So maybe that had some sort of an impact 19 the teleote but we only got 12 points. But okay, thank y'all so much. The fact is we could have easily gotten zero from the tele vote.
That would have been the most absurd thing of all time. This is so wholesome.
Like especially when you like look at our diaspora countries like like absolutely no points. We finished 11th with Ukraine and we finished 11th with the United Kingdom. We didn't even come close in our letters. Then last we have 12 points. Like thank you so much. The final performance did not go off to a great I liked his tear. That was like the thing he was hiding sort of. That was like the special thing he was going to have for the final, he said. But for example, like at the beginning of the performance, the lighting on his face, it was incorrect. Then we had the statue get taken down a second too early. And all of these things, they just disrupted everything really. And then his vocal was also not the best. And then there was a part of the song towards the beginning where I don't remember if he started singing too late or if he started singing a bit too early. I think he started singing a bit too late or maybe to her. I did not know. But yeah, when it came to his like long notes, I thought he was better during the grand final than during the semi-final. But I would have preferred worse vocals than the other things that happened to him. I think you could say that we had a lot of good things individually, the graphics, the costumes, like general atmosphere, his facial expressions, but then if you put everything together, it just didn't really like stick. You know, the juries were completely like a political, no even hints of diaspora or some sort of an influence thing. We got eight from it. We got eight from Finland and we got two from Italy. Like we were like screaming when we saw that we got some points. Like every time we would get points, you would just [ __ ] scream.
Two times we did that only. I from Finland. Finland also left us in the semi-final. I do not know why, but I love y'all guys. and two from Italy and like again the Italian jury, four to Germany, 10 to Sweden, I respect that.
82 to Malta sort of makes sense. Poland, Romania, Ukraine, like they just vote however they want. Next up is Belgium 36 points. The most predictable ever. Zero points from the public. It was obvious that this was just like when we had boys do cry Switzerland. It was the most obvious jury bait qualifier song. Some big points from Belgium, 12 from Italy.
I mean like I already mentioned Italy just giving points to most random mass countries. Latia 10 points though. Six Poland to Israel for Finland and to Estonia. I've seen some theories that like it got points from Israel because like the only one which like actively supported the Israeli participant. But I've not done a lot of research on that.
So I will not state anything. And I do not really care to be honest. I must say there is a sort of a guilty pleasure. I know that her performance live it's not perfect. The song was not necessarily made to be performed live. It was made to be streamable on like the radio or something. But the performance for me together it all works. Meanwhile, I think our performance, the Lithuanian one, has some really good individual things. I think the Belgium's performance just works. And the way they also changed some notes to make it easier for her to sing. I find it appealing. I find it charming. I don't know. There is something about Belgium.
I really like the song before. I do not think the performance really made it worse for me. I kind of like it. I find the performance flawed, but also charming at the same time. I do not know if you understand what I mean, but I like the performance. Next up, we have Sweden. 51 points. I said Sweden will be in the top 10. Yikes. That did not even come close. And let's get to the public votes. Sweden finished 17th. Wow. What about the jury? 21st with the jury. It is interesting that Sweden actually did worse with the tele vote. They they encued with the tele vote in the semi-final, but they did better than with the jury in final, but I mean the points differences here are absolutely insane. 19 points separating 15th and 25th place. That is something. We sometimes see 25th place and like 24th place be separated by that amount. Six from Denmark, six from Finland, four from Norway. Oh my god. No. Wait, they got two from somebody, didn't they? Oh, never mind. My math is just off. Let's continue. Jury 35 points. 10 from Denmark. Okay. One from Germany. That's like genuinely enjoying the song. I mean, I think the Danish people also enjoy the song. They just always root for each other. You know what I mean?
That friend from Italy. Again, I like respect the Italian jurors like just you do you are J Sweden points. I'm really happy about that cuz the song deserve points. I think we just have like as a country in general like really good taste for from Montenegro taste and Norway. I wonder if Melody Festival will sort of try to make conclusions out of that out I mean it's not a long qualification like like we had in 2010.
This is still a really poor result for Sweden. If you're going to make conclusions, don't draw conclusions because of a poor result in your vision because it is an absolute robbery. If you're going to see that, oh, that's not good with Malf, that's not good with Malf. Well, it's definitely not the actual and like eventual winner of the fist of again why I sort of was skeptical of making this video because I already talked about in the semi-final one that EDM just does not work. And I think that this was really similar to that vers Sebastian. In 19th place, we have Cyprus. I mean, we obviously have 24 shining in bold. 14th at the public is kind of where you would expect it.
Maybe maybe lower to be fair, but looking at these like point differences, 14th is really not surprising. So many points here at the top. 12 from Greece, six from Bulgaria. Like we have some again cultural overlap. Like I've said in like the semi-final analysis, it all makes sense. The public makes sense. The jury even here I think it's too high.
Australia, why does the Australian jury appreciate Cypress this much? Like why Bulgaria Denmark? Like why do you like Cypress? There were definitely 10 better acts, performed better than the Criate Act. She still sung better than she did in the semi-final jury show from what I've heard. Moving on, we have Malta. I gave one of my votes for this. It finished 18th probably around where I would expect. I thought that it had like a bigger ceiling, but I think from the performance 18th is where it should have finished. 21st with the public, it still was a qualifier with the public. By the way, Australia of course always gives Malta points. I know you have Zerban and Bulgaria giving the other four. MV3 Malta finished 11 multiple 12 points.
Bulgaria, San Marino, and Ukraine.
Really classy, refined, simple, tasteful. a Jerry Bailey song that I feel like cultured people appreciate. I also should mention that Malta finished 21st in the tele vote with eight points.
They were not even close to getting a ninth point. Like everyone else had M 16th and over. In 17th place, we have Serbia. Serbia finished 30.
It got 12 from Croatia. Whereas Montenegro, 12 from Montenegro. Artella would give them one point even though we gave them 12 points in the semi-final.
The closing factor probably had an impact during the semi-final. 10 from Romania and really not much from anywhere else. Again, are we witnessing the diaspora effect not being as strong?
Yeah, I genuinely think that the diasporas either don't get behind themselves for some reasons. Maybe they're boycotting or they're just not voting. I wonder how much did the change of the voting system impact the countries relying on diaspora. Why do I say this? Because isn't there like a diaspora of Serbians in a country like Germany or Switzerland? Like for example, there are a lot of Albanians in Switzerland. Like there are absolutely like no diaspora countries here. Just countries that I would generally assume would like this sort of music gave it points which is nice of course, but still. Did Jes put Serbia in 90? Where is Montenegro? The well from Montenegro and Croatia and some little points from everyone else. I think that this sort of block voting made Serbia get a more fair result than it would have gotten. Just remove the points that you got from Montenegro when like instantly there is like an impact. Next up, we have Check 16th place. I wanted this to finish at least in the top 15. It did not. Nine points from the public. Let's first give a round of applause to Armenia, Aaran, some random assassin, Poland, of course makes sense in Ukraine.
A really exquisite taste. It's unfortunate that they didn't let them perform again cuz like for me the entry really relies on immersion and I was not able to fully immerse myself during the performance. I was just like, "Please, please, please fix it. Please fix it."
But I did vote for it two times, not once because of like the technical difficulty with the jury to finish down five of wounded jury. Oops. 12 from the Latian jurors with the juries appreciating girly bops and more uptempo music. Now, this is really not surprising that it is lower. I still thought it would at least be higher than Norway, which had a terrible, terrible, terrible Jerry show grand final performance. like my guy literally couldn't sing and he finished ninth. But looking at this, just like I said about breath control, how you respected Chanel and Dra as examples, maybe confidence in the way you convey, portray yourself during your performance, your expressions also weigh a lot when the juries rank you, how you sell the performance. Okay, so anyways, check your rob 15th is Croatia. really a song which I expected to get more from the juries but that did not end up happening. Yeah. So 12 place 71 points from the public a really great result for this. It was from Serbia of course but it is deserved. I've still not finished my after the show full ranking but this has certainly climbed up at least a few places. I am a bit surprised it finished 16th for the jurors. It did not have the tomatoes effect. I said it was a bit overhyped. Maybe the jury saw it as over the top. It really makes me wonder. Of course, last year we had a different jury panel structure system and that was the rental to make this got really awarded points. Maybe that is also in play here. But yeah, even though it is 50 plates, which may not sound the greatest, I think really crazy should be happy about what they actually sent. Not necessarily the end result, which I also do not think is that bad. 40th is Norway. Like I've said, he is able to carry himself well on stage, like really well. And you cannot say that it's like block voting cuz this is pretty consistent throughout. 50 in place with the public 19 points. Pretty solid order. Once again, he was really late into the show and I was afraid that the public was going to like overestimate him. They did not do that. 19 points.
I'm happy because even though he sells it well, the only criteria of the public cannot just be selling the performance well. It also has to be you have to sing and the song has to be at least listenable. Maybe it's sort of listenable but again it was not sung well and there is absolutely no message in that song any deep message in that song. He himself changes every time he says something about the song. Sort of like with Bangaranga like every time someone asks what is the message he uses like a new thing. Nine for the jury is like what what do you mean dwell from the friends jury? This is this is not good. It's just being confident and like selling it well that important cuz there is no way they like the song that much.
It has the sort of radio feel to it but at least sing the song well. Like yes he wasn't bell. You kind of cut him some slack because of that but come on this is just too much. Next up is Albania in 30th. I would maybe even argue it is a bit too high. Some people wanted to see it in the top 10, but then I I look and I see like Chucky is 16th, 50th Croatia.
I thought Sweden was really good. Malta was pretty good. Serbia was good. Did Albania deserve 30th? Albania finished 14th with the Joey, which is pretty solid. And it was not even a jury qualifier in the semi-final where the public Albania finished in the top 10.
Most points came from Montenegro. I'm sorry, but I genuinely cannot this.
Montenegro was 12th and 12th went to Serbia. Uh 10 and 10 went to Lebania and eighth and eighth went to Croatia. I really cannot. This like just pisses me off. I'm sorry. Montenegro, we get it.
You are in the game. You are noticed.
Don't worry, Montenegro. Please just scrape like the entire jury panel. The tele vote I understand, but this just scrape the entire jury panel. But yeah, props to Albania for sure moving forward. This song did feel powerful and it obviously connected with a lot of people because finishing 30th is not the easiest thing in the world. Next up, we have Poland. Some people said this will not qualify. It finished 12th. 16th with the public. I thought it would be higher pointswise, but then I realized that the top just took absolutely every point.
So, if it would have gotten like 15 points, which was my prediction, she would have been like, okay, not that much higher place wise, but like the caf would have been big. Then she finished seventh video. Big congratulations to Alitzia. So, yeah, once again, Poland when it comes to diaspora, UK gave it five points, but five points is not much. UK obviously gave us no points. We finished 11th with the UK, but again the diaspora effect is lowering. Poland have a generally speaking a bigger diaspora.
So it makes sense why they got more points. And this is just such a jury friendly song. She performed it to perfection. So many people were talking about this during the Eurovision week.
It was a grow for so many people. 12 from Austria, 12 from Belgium. like these countries which you would not expect to necessarily favor Poland really. I mean Jerice in general were talked to not favor Poland much. I thought that was [ __ ] because again we're getting like a jury reform system now like the structure of the juries is reformed and this is just such a jury friendly song. She can sing it so well from Aldoa as well. Our jurors gave Poland 10. I do not know like it's not revolutionary. It reminds me a bit of Belgium where this song can play on the radio stations. I feel like Kisia has more confidence. Her vocal is flawless.
The staging isn't really tastefully. It just all makes sense why this did so well. Also, I said that I will analyze your jewelry, but I did realize that the jury got almost everything wrong. So, I will not be analyzing the Euro Jury.
There is no point. 11th was France. I thought this was one of the contenders to win the whole contest. Yes, it would be opera winning three years in a row, but I thought that she was genuinely good. I thought she was flawless vocally. The performance was pretty cinematic. It did not give a winner vibe though. After seeing the performance, I was like, it's going to be a pretty underwhelming winner if it wins. Even though everything is done so well, it finished 18th the public 14 points. It finished though a level with so many countries which is so fascinating to think about. It was so close to getting points. If he would be looking at like the average positions, France would definitely be higher than 80. So I do feel bad for France. And was she four top 10? She okay she was four out of the top 10. Okay. At least there is that. At least she was not up close with the Juries. D France finished fourth. It brought 12 from Finland, 12 from Georgia, and 12 from the United Kingdom.
Historically enemies, but now besties. I hope that France will keep on doing what they have been doing. They're just sending quality songs, quality performances. Like genuinely, I feel like France is helping the image of the Eurovvision Song Contest cuz some people are watching the contest expecting quality. Not something that necessarily Muldova brings like the fun stuff, but Moldova is there for that. not for some girly bob trashy stuff, some just general quality. And France just even if it was not this year, France usually a pleases both the jury and the teleote.
And I hope France just keeps on doing that. From what I've seen, Monroe is certainly not being like sad about her 14 points. She's like making sort of like memes about the 14 points that she received from the public. So, at least I don't have to be worried for it potentially affecting an underageed person and ruining their career or at least destroying them mentally. 10th place we have Greece, 24 from Cyprus, 20 from Serbia. I said it will win after everyone hyped it up after the first semi-final jury show, but after seeing it, I was like, "Yeah, it does not have the winner vibe to it." I was like, is this really our winner this year? He was not for off at all. Eighth place. And he should be proud. I found his performance really entertaining. It should be higher at least by a spot or two in my final reaction cuz I will upload them and tell you the changes pretty soon. Stay tuned for that in like my community post section. But yeah, if he would have won, he would have absolutely needed to not only win the Talib, but win by some margin and he would have also needed jury appeal. But there was like quite a long time. But I remember that Reese was with zero points from the juries. It took time for Greece to get some jury load. It could have ended in an even more shocking way. 12 from the juries.
Not the most surprising thing really. 12 from Cyprus, of course, and from Serbia.
I would say Greece should be proud, but I feel like Greek the Greeks are proud.
I feel like the Greeks are pretty toxic sometimes. And like at least two other countries, like I saw people saying, "Oh, Bulgaria only won because they joined the Euro zone this year." That is the most stupid thing I've heard in my entire life. Greeks should acknowledge how good Akilus was this year and they should appreciate him and they should generally be happy about what they brought to Eurovision this year, even if the result was not the greatest. But y'all shouldn't have hyped up your yourselves that much. When I heard Ferto for the first time, I did not see it as a winner. I did not see it as the winner of the Gree's national selection. So I would say a good result. Next up is Ukraine. Ninth place, not four of eighth and not four of 10. Finished fifth in the public. That is a phenomenal result.
12 from Czecha, 12th from Georgia, 12 from Poland. She might have not hit the high note, the long note. It's a high and it's a long note. She did not hit it during the Jerry show. She did perfectly during the live show and that is what matters the most. Villagers, she finished 50. I feel like that note did have some contribution to why she finished so lowers because the note it's so long. It's 30 seconds long. So she invested the 30 seconds into a long note and she still failed there and I feel like the juries could have not maybe appreciated that as much but yeah pretty balanced overall point tally. We see like 14 points here but really it's pretty balanced. I'm not seeing like any 15 plus from one country. Props to Ukraine. It's a big grower. I found the performance really to be beautiful.
They'll also rise in my rankings. Next up we have another country which is going to rise in my rankings and that is Moldova. What a fun performance. It finished fourth for the teleote. It finished 17th via juries. The Romanian juries gave Maldoa 10. Meanwhile, Malddova gave Romania three points, which I could talk about for a while, but I feel like you've heard the news.
It's really not that big of a deal. It would have not had an impact on Romania's position anyway. I don't think there is really much to say from the public. It got well from Italy, Romania, and Ukraine. I feel like there was definitely diaspora involved. When it comes to diaspora, even though some diaspora was less active this year, a lot of it, the Maldoan and the Romanian diasporas were really mobilized and like we're really locked in this year. I feel like 10 from the rest of the world says all you need to know about Maldo's diaspora with the jurist. It also could have been worse. My country gave it three points. I'm happy about that. I'm happy that we acknowledged Maldo's existence. The jury's structural change was certainly a plus. a big pro for Moldova because without it I could have seen Muldova be not 17 but maybe somewhere near us. Next we have Denmark.
Opening the final is difficult but he did it phenomenally. I thought it was his greatest performance yet. It was so so good. 24 points from Norway. What a performance. I don't remember the last time when an opener finished seventh or higher. So like I mean Saurin is so my recording ended because my phone died but yeah let's just quickly go through it again. I forgot where I ended it. So yes 11th with the tele vote when you're opening the show when you're in your own native language when the performance is over sexualized when the buildup is so long it all makes sense just like what I said in my first video in this semi final analysis. But this is such a jar magnet. I think it should have been even higher. I think Australia should have been lower because of how dated it is. I think that should have been even higher.
The Danish people should be extremely proud and they from what I've seen they are proud. Next up we have Finland. I will brush it a bit because I fear that my phone will still die even though it is plugged in. So yeah, let's just quickly go through it. Finland 24 points from Estonia, 24 points from Sweden.
When it got it well from the Estonian injury, I was like okay now we are going to storm. Finland is going to start its run to victory now. It did not do [ __ ] A for the public, the dwell from Estonia and Sweden. Yeah, I feel like most saw it as just like a really really good song, but that's it. The juries, they put Finland fifth. It must have been tough for the Fins, you know, being the favorite the whole season and finishing sixth. But it's sort of your own fault for hyping yourself up. I'm sorry if they have to say, but kind of is really.
I did became a a Finland believer, but only on the day of the grand final and I only said that because I couldn't see anybody else really winning. I was like Romania, but Romania is going to get killed by the jury. I do not want Israel to win. Like, who's going to win this contest? Yeah, now it sort of makes sense. I'm also sorry to Finland myself because I believe that Finland on the final day, but it's still your fault.
Fifth place was Italy 24 from Albania.
This is the most overrated song of this year. And I'm not going to try to pretend like it is otherwise. Salvaini was one of my favorites during Sanremo.
But fifth place is just absolutely absurd. I said it'll even finish in the top 10. I didn't really even have a doubt about that. But fifth place, come on. Like Finland and Denmark below Finland and Denmark with so many voice cracks as well with the performance being cliche. Okay, you're going into that cliche territory with the Italian flag and all that, but the voice cracks and the you put Italy. Okay, six, but still that's like too high. It's almost the same amount of points as Finland and France really. The song was not that good. The song was good, but it was not that good. It was not something new because the whole point of the song was not to be something new. Again, it's coming from a person who had this as one of his favorites, drinks and Rammo. But yeah, the public we see 12 from Albanian, not surprising at all. And 12 from Malta, also not surprising at all.
Italy has finished in the top seven since 2016. 2016 was the last year where they did not finish in the top seven.
Same amount of points as Greece. And the juries, Italy finished sixth, 12 from Albania, 12 from Jan. My country gave Italy zero, and I will applaud my country for that. Of course. I assume the public gave at least some points.
There is no way we didn't give any.
Yeah, we gave eight points to Italy.
Wow. Yeah, I sort of expected that. The Eastern Europeans, I knew that they would like connect with Italy on like a big level. It has that old Schlagger vibe. Like this is just a song which would work with like Eastern Europeans.
Next up, we have Australia.
Fourth in total, finished ninth to the public much better than I expected. I expected it to be like 15 and 40 and 30 maybe somewhere in there. I said it's going to get less points than my mom last year. I was very wrong with that.
But then after I published my community post, I rewatched it and I was like I think I get hype now. But yeah, 122 points still the higher end. I after seeing the performance I was okay maybe 70 90 points. 122 points that's really good for Australia. Congratulations. The song is still dated. Remember that. and 165 points from the juries. People thought this will win the jury. So many people thought on the day of the final, so many people thought this will win the whole contest, but yet was over the top.
It was dated. That's why it did not win the jury. Again, I still think I still think it did too well, but congratulations cuz Delta was still amazing. Next up, we have Romania.
Romania 22 points from Luxmbourg. Looks enjoyed it in this semi-final as well from what I remember. Yeah, let's just get into it. The public. The public.
Well, from Moldova, absolutely everyone in the public gave Romania points.
Germany did the least one point, but yeah, absolutely everyone gave Romania points. Congratulations, Romania. My personal favorite like before the show, like that in Denmark. I do not know who would be my favorite now. Maybe Denmark still, but I really do love this. It's too dramatic maybe and too dark for the jurors. 30M is still not it's not abysmal but it's still way way way way too low. I mean in my opinion Romania is miles better than Norway and this is how it ended up being. The diaspora really got behind it. I saw Romania as a terrible Twitter. I did not want to say it in my YouTube community post because I would get so many people thinking I'm delusional. I already said the check to win the jury now Romania teleote. Are you sick? It ended up being Bulgaria that won the public vote. But let's be honest, nobody really saw the hype for Bulgaria until literally hours before the final went in the pricing in the odds. A really good result for Omnia. Of course, it had that diaspora support and just really it means so much when you just have a [ __ ] amazing ass song.
Congratulations to Alexandra. Her new song is really good by the way.
Congratulations to her band and congrats to the delegation which has improved significantly since their last attempt.
Next up we have Israel finished second.
Certainly there was a bit of meat that was worrying that Israel would take the cake. It got well from John tele vote, Finnish tele vote, French teleote, German teleote, Portuguese and the Swiss. I wonder by how much it would really be interesting to get the data to see what are the differences between first and second places that could tell us. so much. Yeah, Zerban of course is the least surprising. I think that there was definitely no manipulating here. It was just Azerbujian being Aerbujan.
There is no way in a healthy contest in a not manipulated scenario that Maldoa would finish below Israel like just use your critical thinking skills. Maldoa is the type of country that would do extremely well with the Talibote. The countries above it should be the eventual winner and Romania which is also extremely appealing and has an extreme diaspora and just is really good. And then we have Israel. It was good but this should be a song appreciated more by the jury in the finishing a jury. I think this is much more balanced. Well from the Polish jury made me almost crash out especially when last year we had that all of that drama with the ambassadors. I already talked about that in my semi-final video. So this video is kind of useless. that the Polish jury panel was like, "Okay, we sort of owe something to Israel because they're mad on us." Or did they owe something to Israel because of Alicia's comments? Like, what? There was also a jury that put Israel last in that panel and they still won the jury. It's truly insane. Let's just move on. The winner that nobody expected, Bulgaria, 24 from Australia, Lithuania, by the way, two countries that gave Israel no points.
Well, the teleote give no points.
Australia, for Australia, it's both the jury and the tele vote. For us, it's only the tele vote. But still, we just have taste. Let me tell you that. Rest of the world, 12 to Bulgaria as well, not Israel, which is interesting cuz that has been what we've been getting.
That's like a new thing, right? Cuz Israel was always 12 with the rest with the rest of the world, right? Money 12.
Okay, not that many twelves, but still it just did well overall. Again, I can name the reasons. breath control the juries extremely extremely do respect that the innovative staging of course her stage presence revolutionizing the girly bop scene really I mean the jury reform in a way really impacted Bulgaria in the best way possible it came at the right time and Bulgaria has won Bulgaria did not landslid okay they didn't do really well to be fair wow knowing how small the points differences are here this is a difference. Let me tell you that I was worried that the difference that Bulgaria got over Israel will not be enough and that Israel will still potentially win the contest. It did not end up being like that. Thank god. But yeah, my phone is running out of storage. I have about 20 more seconds.
Yeah, the song contest is probably happening in Sophia. Congratulations Bulgaria. Amazing desert victory. And yeah, see you in my next video. Bye.
Subscribe and yeah.
