This video presents eight positive security stories from Nigeria, demonstrating the country's comprehensive approach to combating terrorism and kidnapping through legal prosecution, asset destruction, and community partnerships. The Federal Court sentenced two women to 40 years for aiding terrorism, while state governments demolished residences linked to kidnapping operations. Security forces arrested religious and traditional leaders for supporting kidnappers, recovered weapons and ransom money, and successfully rescued victims through collaborative operations with local hunters. These cases illustrate that effective security requires not only law enforcement action but also community engagement and accountability for those who enable criminal activities.

I will find good news. I will find good news. You know they see today I was share with you eight positive news concerning security for Nigeria. NUMBER ONE AS YOU CAN SEE GOD SENTENCES mother sister of late terrorist kickpin Ba to 40 years in prison. Now they be this no be all time be like bandit they invisible when they see them work with them they see anything thank god they see they gave them 40 YEARS MORE THE FEDERAL COURT IN ABUJA ON FRIDAY SET TEST TWO WOMEN ARRESTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES DSS FOR THEIR INVOLVEMENT in terrorism related activities to 40 years in prison just rush the news no need to waste time what they do they admitted aiding and abetting the terrorist keeping by passing information to him through telephone conversations. If you know any terrorist kidnapper, arm robber, bad person where they around you, no call police, no call, later they call no you are your own. Safia Sal the mother admitted to concealing information about her son's terrorism related activities. Al Lima Abdulai the sister admitted to concealing information that her brother possessed illegally acquired firearms after seeing them at his forest camp. The prosecution withdrew two other camps related to allegedly receiving money and sponsorship from proceed of terrorism.
So they were not convicted on those charges. Okay. Mhm. Another one. EACH OFFENSE CARRIED a 20 years sentence, but the judge ordered the sentences to run concurrently. Meaning they will serve 20 years in prison, not 40 years one after the other. Meaning you have two cases.
So we will give you 20 20 years. Instead of say serve 20 years, when you finish continue to serve the remaining one, no, as you serve this one, you are serving one concurrently at the same time. That means each of them will only spend 20 years. Okay. The C also ordered that they undergo rehabilitation after serving their sentence. Okay. Number two, as you can see, MINISTER OF DEFENSE DON'T PRACTICALLY WARN Gumo and co people where they sympathize with terrorist. According to him, a friend of a thief is a thief. Just like the mother and sister. Okay? A friend of a thief is a thief. Listen now. Nobody should support terrorists in whatever forms.
Those guys don't mean anybody well. If you think you are trading with them and you are getting money from them because you think you getting is blood money and you are going to account for that. Some of us we have some of our traditional rulers, some of our religious leaders that tend to make comments that seem to be encouraging these people to continue to kill people. They should understand the friend of a thief is a thief. Your comments, anybody that's killed because of your comment, you are sharing into that body. So you can do bad thing from money line they always catch you. NUMBER THREE STATE government had demolished a residence in Uroi reportedly linked to Christopher Okodua accused of sponsoring criminal activities and allegedly bringing individuals from outside the state to head kidnapping operations.
What I don't know.
We are in Uroi as we speak and this building belongs to one Christian Okodua who has been linked severally to a kidnapping blockchain where imports mercenaries from others neighboring states to this uh Uroi to do this kidnapping business and all the arrests we've made have linked him directly to all of these and we call that conspiracy aid and abetting into kidnapping and the the investigation are proving that he is the mastermind and corporate of all the of the most very ferocious kidnapping in this room and the hands of the law has met him and this is what the result is they have we had the matching order upon investigation verified information that this building should go down because that's the law once you are linked to all of this and most of the person who have arrested I also mentioned his name the house is going down that's the resultant effect so it's left for you to change or not to change the picture and the reality is this if you see these things as remain in crime is left for you the hands of the law must meet you catch up with you and prosecute you I think the governor should be giving a kudos for this and let me quickly chip in this the very Sunday h kidnapping at vegetable market the mastermind of those person mastermind of that action has been intercepted And they are caught as we speak. The arresting is Stacy ID.

They say for inside you enough be SMALL THING. NUMBER FIVE, I don't want to waste your time. As you can see in this video, a monarch and a pastor were arrested for allegedly aiding and abetti kidnappers.
A pastor and a monarch. Now who you know suspect be kidnapper these days? They release information say I go tell I want build house of 300 million kidnapper boss. So you say ah I go make pray for me say I want >> and he's the one that gave out legus car RX300 to the um kidnap uh gang from that is how you usually do you will lo give out their food to them when those ones go out and operate after they finish operation, he will come and give him the booty of the operation. But in this particular case, uh he he got disappointed because uh we able to get him. Of course, we had intelligence on him for some time, but we were trying to train him to really get the right time that we going to get him with the evidence and here he is.
Also, there's Ebenezer. Eeneza, where are you? That's Ebeneza. is one of those key members of the gang. And then the pastor of the pastor pastor show your face that is pastor that is the operational leader of the gang and AK four as I said four AK-47s were recovered from them.
This this and this were recovered.
So this one carry that one.
>> Okay. No, carry that one. Carry the other AK for the last one. The one time.
So these four AK-47 rifles were recovered.
These four rifles were recovered from this gun.
In addition to these four rifles um this L and this SMG were recovered.
This L and this SMG were the two of them were taken from NLA operatives. They were coming from um uh from an assignment sometime in May and they were ambushed. One of them was shot, the other was injured and uh the the rifles were taken away from them. So this this record have been recovered for NDLA and in addition we have arrested the suspects that committed this crime and from them we recovered 120 rounds of life ammunitions.
120 rounds of life amunitions and the ransom of 4.2 2 million is the ransom of 4.2 million and out of the ransom a sum of 3 million was given to the A.
A sum of 3 million was given to the A as payment for him to repurchase another vehicle because the vehicle that he gave to the team was um um was um was recovered by the police and they thought that it's a lost thing and for them to be in operation they have to compensate the easy. So in so doing they gave him sum of 3 million naira in order for him to buy another vehicle so that they will still be in business. Of course some of the monies were recovered totally 4.2 million out of the total sum of 7.5 million out of total sum of 7.5 million that were taken from victims they have recovered 4.2 2 million and of course those are various magazines you know and categories for recovery. So outside this one there are other cases as I told you there are other cases case of recovery of vehicles case of definement case of incense and all that. So that is what we have there and these are the suspects.
