[00:00:00]Hate me for saying this, but the only way to get successful in corporate is to play the game and be good at acting. The ones who just want to do their jobs and go home are passed over for promotions.

[00:00:10]Meanwhile, the people who say good morning in a high-pitched voice, ask intentionally stupid questions [music] in meetings, are the ones who ace it.

[00:00:16]And don't get me wrong, I love the concept of a 9-5, but loving something means seeing it for what it really is.

[00:00:21]The modern office is no longer a workplace, it's a stage. There's a reason they call them performance reviews, because you aren't just working, you are performing in meetings, [music] at events. And I don't fully like that, because it reminds me of school. There were always those kids trying to impress the teacher, while the rest of us just wanted to finish the assignment and head to the playground.

[00:00:39]But I guess the faster you realize there's more than work in a job, the sooner you [music] understand the game and start playing.
