NEW| Wolfoo Explore π What If We Could FLY? Human Body | Wolfoo Channel | Kids CartoonAdded:
Let's go.
>> Stop.
Oh. H.
>> I wish I could fly like that bird.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we could all fly?
>> Let knowledge click.
>> If humans could fly, the sky would become incredibly crowded. Birds, the natural masters of the sky, would have to compete with humans.
We might no longer need elevators or stairs.
If everyone could fly, public transportation would gradually become unnecessary.
But if too many people fly at once, >> oh, >> we might end up with sky traffic jams.
In reality, it's very difficult for humans to fly like birds. Birds have powerful wing muscles to lift their bodies into the air. Humans are much heavier and our arms aren't big enough to create lift.
>> Wow, I got it.
>> That's all for now. Stay tuned for our next exploration.
>> Oh.
>> Ew. Woo. What is that dirty thing? Huh?
It's not >> I >> Don't worry. That's ear wax. It's not something bad at all. I'll explain to you. Let knowledge click. Inside our ears, it's not just a smooth tube at all. The ear walls have many tiny glands that quietly do their job every day.
There are two main types of glands. One makes oil and the other makes a slightly sticky wax. When these two mix together, they create something we call serumin or ear wax.
Ear wax is not too soft and not too hard. So, it can trap dust, germs, pollen, dead skin, and even tiny insects if they accidentally crawl into the ear.
Thanks to this layer of ear wax, those dirty things cannot go deep to the inner ear, which is very sensitive. If it gets hurt, our hearing can become weaker right away.
Not only does ear wax protect the ear, it also helps keep the ear properly moist. If the ear is too dry, the skin can crack and hurt. If the ear is too wet, bacteria and fungi can grow faster.
Ear wax helps keep the ear not too dry and not too wet. Just right.
>> Ear wax is like a shield that protects our ears. Right.
>> That's right. Our ears can clean themselves, too. The skin inside the ear canal slowly moves outward like a very slow conveyor belt. Old ear wax moves along with it, dries up, and then falls out naturally without us even noticing.
So, ear wax is not a bad thing. It is a hardworking gatekeeper for our ears. But remember, only clean the outside of the ear gently. Do not put cotton swabs or sharp objects deep inside because they can push ear wax further in or hurt the ear.
If your ear hurts, feels very itchy, or you can't hear clearly, tell your parents and see a doctor.
>> I get it now. If we treat ear wax the right way, our ears will be healthy and hear well.
>> Mhm.
That's all for now. Stay tuned for our next exploration.
What's happening to us? Maybe we're sick.
>> We need to quarantine.
>> Oh.
>> Oh, >> you're just yawning.
>> Oh, >> not sick at all. Take those off. I'll explain. Let knowledge bleed.
>> Yawning is when your body opens your mouth to take in air.
Like opening a window to freshen up your brain.
>> Wait, there's a room inside our beds.
>> Oh.
>> When you study or think a lot, your brain gets tired. Emits more air to cool down.
So, it sends a yawn signal and your mouth opens wide to let in a big thread.
Yawning also brings more blood to your brain when you're sleepy or tired, which helps you feel more awake.
>> Wow.
>> Yawning is like a leader lung for your body.
>> You might yawn when you're overworked >> or when you didn't sleep enough.
>> That means it's time to rest.
Ah.
>> And sometimes you yawn just because you're bored.
>> And when you see someone else yawn, >> you might yawn too.
>> H. So, what if we yawn, but it's not bedtime yet?
You can stand up, drink some water, or walk around a bit to help you feel more awake. And remember, if you done in public, >> cover your mouth to be polite.
>> We got it.
>> That's all for now. Stay tuned for our next exploration.
Huh?
>> Kids, wash your hands first.
>> Huh?
>> Do you know why we need to keep our hands clean? Let knowledge click.
Even though you can see them with your naked eyes, there are lots of harmful bacteria on your hands.
If you don't wash your hands properly, bacteria can get into your body and cause stomach aches, diarrhea or even make you sick. Besides stomach aches, they can lead to another problems too.
Is this all right, Professor Hoop?
>> Huh?
>> Bacteria will stick to your hands if you only use water to wash them.
Instead, use soap so it can wash away all the bacteria.
First, wet your hands.
Second, use soap.
Third, scrub thoroughly palms, bags of hands, between fingers, and under nails.
Fourth, rinse with clean water.
faith. Try your hands with a clean towel.
>> Wow, >> I got it.
>> That's all for now. Stay tuned for our next exploration.
>> Oh.
Oh, come to think of it, what are belly buttons for?
>> H.
>> Did you know why we have belly buttons?
Let knowledge click.
>> Huh? H >> when the baby is still in the womb, it can eat, >> breathe, or drink milk on its own.
>> Instead, the baby gets food from the mother through a special tube called the umbilical cord.
Besides food, the umbilical cord also carry oxygen and nutrients from the mother to the baby.
After birth, the umbilical cord isn't needed anymore. The doctor will cut it to separate the baby from the mother.
After about 7 to 14 days, the umbilical cord will fall off on its own without causing any pain. Even though everyone's belly button looks a little different, it's a reminder that we all want live in our mom's tummy.
Oh. Huh.
>> The belly button doesn't do much, but it still needs to be kept clean like the rest of your body.
>> Gently wash your belly button during bath time.
Keep it dry afterward and don't touch it with your dirty fingers.
>> Wow, I got it.
>> Stay tuned for our next exploration.
Sorry. I'll try not to cough anymore.
>> Don't hold in your cough, sweetie. It's okay to let it out.
>> I'll explain why, kid. Let knowledge cling.
When something bothers your throat, like dust, smoke, germs, or mucus, your brain gets the signal and tells a little flab in your throat to close.
Then your chest and belly muscle push air out super fast. that helps clear out the bed stuff and keeps your lungs and throat clean. But if you hold in your cough, the dirt and germs can get stuck inside and make you sick. And if you hold it too long, the trap air can even hurt parts inside your body.
Remember, when you need to cough, you can cover your mouth with a tissue, then throw it in the trash.
>> H Oh.
>> What if I need to cough but don't have a tissue?
>> Huh? Can you guess what should you do if there's no tissue when you need to cough?
A. Hold it in and try not to cough. B.
Cough into your elbow. C. Shout so everyone knows you're about to cough and runs away.
>> Huh?
Cough into your elbow.
>> We should cough into our elbows, not our bare hands. So we don't spread germs.
Let's try it.
If you keep coughing for days, tell an adult so they can take you to the doctor.
>> Yes.
>> Stay tuned for our next exploration.
>> Fan from Lucy's Playhouse.
Oh. Huh. Our playhouse will win the first prize.
>> Oh, >> hello.
I have some urgency at work.
Huh?
Let him go. We can still make it.
Hello. I like a bunch of flowers.
>> She didn't even bother to fix the playhouse.
>> I don't need them then.
>> Will you help me?
Oh, wow.
>> Huh?
>> Sorry, Lucy. I'll make it up for you with some snacks. Okay.

>> Woof boo. Look at Jenny.
>> What should we do?
H. Oh.
>> Oh no. Where's Jenny?
>> Mommy, I can't find Jenny anywhere. Oh wow.
>> If I hadn't been there, she could have been in trouble.
>> Huh?
>> I'll follow the safety rules from now on.
Ah!
Woohoo!
Huh? Um, >> oh no.
>> The strict teacher.
>> My mommy says Mrs. Cat is your teacher.
>> Mommy, it hurts.
I don't know Mrs. C's that violent. I wonder how she treats us.
>> Stop making noises.
>> Hey, >> no food allowed. Are you clear?
I don't want to go to school.
