These 9 year old boots STILL hit different

[00:00:00]So, this Nike boot was probably a bit underrated when it released 9 years ago, but looking back at it, it's actually so good that if Nike released this today, it would slap hard. Yeah, the Tiempo Legend 7 came out in 2017 and offered that amazing K-leather forefoot that the boot was already known for. However, Nike also introduced Flyknit in the heel and in the tongue, also including Brio cables to give you an adaptive and locked-in fit. The big deal, however, >> [music] >> was the Fitmesh liner on the forefoot, which was disconnected from the leather itself and acted as a Chinese finger trap, meaning that the more pressure you applied, the tighter it would hold. In other words, Fitmesh [music] held your foot in place so the leather didn't have to, and the leather ooh, so soft, so supple. And [music] since it was fused with that foam skeleton, it had a bit of airiness to it as well. The Hyperstability plate helped shave off 60 g on heel. [music] It was to die for.
