Answering 50 questions - Pipe ASMR
Added:Hello guys and welcome to another one of my videos.
Today I'll be answering 50 questions.
I hope you like the answer to every question and I hope you like the question itself. Now let's begin.
So as the first question, what's your morning routine?
Well, my morning routine is actually um waking up, God willing.
Then uh the first thing I do is uh put the water to cook for the coffee. Of course, I'm a avid coffee lover.
And after I uh set the coffee up and the mug to put the coffee in, I uh love to uh wash my face with very cold water, as cold as it gets. Um, sometimes to be honest, I brush my teeth before coffee, sometimes afterwards because [sighs and gasps] uh I find that uh um toothpaste messes up the coffee flavor for too long and then I skip breakfast always.
So, um I turn on my computer and once everything is set up, I uh take my coffee and start the day actually. And uh it um saves me a lot of time to skip breakfast.
Now, the second question is, what's your favorite way to relax after work?
to be honest.
Uh just laying down on the ground on the blanket of my baby uh my child son together with my wife and just lay down for a bit and look at them both or us both looking at the little one. that or just starting up a game or of course this after work.
Now the next question is what was your dream job as a kid?
[gasps] Uh I never really know what I want to become once I grow up. I still don't know what I want to become, but uh I don't know.
What was your dream job as a kid?
[sighs] I That's a hard question.
a hard question to answer because I either because I either don't remember anymore or I never really had the dream job probably to be a I don't know soccer player or a doctor or something typical.
Uh what's one lesson you've learned in your 30s uh that I should have started investing in my 20s?
and that books are actually uh really nice to read and not boring uh pieces of text.
What's your favorite season and why?
To be honest, I think summer. I do sweat very fast and a lot and I hate extreme heat, but you can just Every country is nicer during summer.
And I love that in the Netherlands the days uh last so long. Like the sun is up really early and it goes down really late like um 11:00 p.m. or a.m. Um I mean 11:00 p.m. at night the sun goes down. So and in the winter it's like five or six. So it's horrible.
Um, do you prefer coffee or tea? Well, definitely coffee.
No doubt about it. The only thing, if you know me for a while, the only thing I drink is coffee, tea, and water.
[gasps] And um, I don't even drink plain water.
Like, I have to have some bubbles in my water. But coffee, if it didn't create a problem uh for a bad sleep, if I drink too much or too late, I would drink that all day.
What's your favorite comfort food?
Uh well, I don't know. I guess I would say either pizza or something sweet like a bar of chocolate or something I guess or wait ice cream.
I don't have it a lot and always but definitely ice cream like an I could eat full tubs of good quality ice cream.
Question eight is, what's a hobby you wish you had more time for?
I guess uh well, gaming, not really, but I don't know. I guess uh fitness because now when I go to work out, I'm a bit of time bound. I cannot like take the time because I need to be home u quick to help with the kid. So, I guess working out, that's a hobby. Man, I wish I had more time for it.
What's the best vacation you've ever taken? Um, the best vacation I ever taken was in Gran Canaria in Spain.
It was a all-inclusive hotel on the island which is located next to Morocco to the left side of Morocco, but it's a Spanish island and it was one of the best vacations with the best food and everything. [clears throat] So, yeah, definitely. And I love Spanish people. I love Spain. And uh it's pretty cheap.
What's your favorite book?
>> [sighs] >> Um I guess when it comes to literature and just writers, no religious books, it would be u for now The Idiot of Four Dski. That's my favorite definitely.
What's a movie you can watch over and over?
Um, well, it's a trilogy and it's uh The Lord of the Rings. I just rewatched it a couple of weeks ago with my wife and uh in my previous Q&A, I didn't know which movie was my favorite, but it's definitely uh Lord of the Rings, the trilogy of it, all three parts.
Number 12, what is your favorite smell?
Um, you will be surprised, but there are two. I just cannot pick between them both and none of them are perfumes or flowers or something.
One is freshly cut onions hitting the pan with oil in it.
That's a magnificent smell. I wish they made those things in perfumes.
And 99% of the world knows that smell and it's beautiful and magnificent.
And uh number two or they share the first spot is a when you open a bag a fresh bag of coffee beans and just [snorts] stick your head in it and fully inhale.
If you haven't done that ever, trust me, delicious.
What's your ideal Sunday like uh sleeping out, going to the gym, having a brisk walk with my wife and son.
not really a movie guy. So, either reading a book with this over here or um playing a game with my wife, like a board game or something.
And uh yeah, or going to the town in Rotterdam or having a cup of coffee with my wife somewhere in the city or or a bar or something.
those simple things in life. I'm a simple guy, you know.
What's something that instantly calms you down? [sighs] Uh having the reassuring thought that if it doesn't kill me, it's not that bad.
If it's not a problem tomorrow, next week, in a month, or in 10 years, it's also not not that big of a problem. And uh just stopping and breathing and thinking like or not giving a f. That's it. Simple.
Do you enjoy cooking? What's your sign signature dish?
If you've seen some of my previous videos, I adore cooking. I almost exclusively cook in my house because I just love cooking. Although my wife cooks very good also.
I just don't give her the opportunity.
But my signature dish is definitely a pizza because I create like the dough and the um sauce everything from scratch.
I ferment the dough like three to five days in the fridge and it's uh it's delicious if I say so myself.
What's your favorite childhood memory?
[sighs] um being in Croatia where I lived the first year I lived in Croatia for 2 years and the first year I lived in the village and I had a like a mountain bike and I don't know something about in in living in the village in Croatia in the ' 90s or sorry yeah like late 90s like if you wanted some fruit or something you were surrounded by hundreds of trees of uh [sighs] pears, apples, uh all kinds of berries. Like you couldn't go hungry in the village. And the people were nice. Like you had you you you chilled with everyone basically with old people with young people.
They uh the people there were nice but they were also a bit harsher. So you had to be strong yourself.
You couldn't be a crybaby if you know what I mean.
But music helps you unwind.
Oh man, I listen to every kind of music like but to help me unwind I guess like something like Teddy Swims or u like chill soulful music also a lot of Croatian music that's very chill helps me unbind.
Are you a early bird or a night owl?
I don't believe in those things. It's what [sighs] uh what you used to. I used to say I'm a a night owl. But now that I have a kid, it's no problem for me to wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning, but you just have to go to bed on time.
Although it is is easier for me to go to sleep late than to wake up early.
Number 19. What's your favorite place you ever visited?
Oh man, I think where I like it's maybe not the most beautiful place or anything, but it's a city in Croatia where I have all my friends where when I moved from the uh countryside to the city, it's a small town or city called Pawar and every time I come there with a car or uh during vacation, like seeing those old school buildings and I don't know, it's just a special kind of feeling of feeling home and knowing that you're going to see your friends and family.
So, yeah, the city of Belawir is uh my favorite place that I've ever visited.
What's one thing you're grateful for today?
That's number 20. And one thing I'm grateful for today is that um God gave me another day on this earth to see the faces of my wife and son.
It's so corny, I know, but what else is there to be grateful for?
What's your favorite weather?
What's your favorite weather? Well, sunny but not too hot. Like I guess it's 21° somewhere around there where you can wear a shirt.
I think in Fahrenheit that's something like * 2 + 30. So, I think 70° if I'm correct.
>> What's something you've recently learned?
Uh, [sighs] great question.
um that people think that I'm a really chill.
Well, this is going to sound weird, but I've heard when was it two days ago when I had my sister moving, someone said like, "You're a calm guy." But I guess that's the difference between what I show people and what I have in my head because in stressful periods, trust me, you only know me when I'm chill and take and uh recording a video. But you don't see me when I cut out the piece where someone is screaming outside or you hear birds chirping and I uh start cussing a bit like hey what the I'm recording here or something you know. So uh people see me as a chill guy or a calm guy while I don't really see myself as a chill and a calm guy. Well, definitely not in every situation.
I'm not easily triggered by people, but by situations, you know, like if something falls on the ground, I sometimes like cuss something in Croatian while my wife says, "Why are you cussing?" Like, neither you nor that thing can can do something about it. It fell and it just happened.
And uh yeah, that's it, I guess.
What makes a house feel like home?
What makes a house feel like home?
Well, home is where the heart is. So, wherever the the family is at, that's home.
Even if it's under a bridge, in a cardboard box, or in a nice house, home is where the heart is.
What's your favorite way to spend a rainy day?
For now, here on the balcony with either a book and this or with my wife and this and then just chilling, watching the raindrops fall.
while we sit safe over here.
What's the best advice you ever received?
Do not uh how should I say this? I hope I can explain this the right way, but do not take financial advice of people who are not rich.
to not take u relationship advice from people who are not in a relationship or married. Uh you know what I mean? Like do not take health advice from someone who is not healthy themsel stuff like that. Like if someone says something but uh is a total opposite of that don't take the advice.
I would much rather take financial advice of I don't know like a Warren Buffett than a random friend who uh has a simple monthly salary and just says something that he read something or heard something himself. So that would be my best advice that I've received.
Number 26. What's something you're proud of?
Well, to be honest, I'm proud of this channel. I never thought that I would have close to 7,000 subscribers like people willing to click the button subscribe or a like or put a comment on my videos because uh I really appreciate it when someone does it especially when someone like uh donates with through the link don't buy me a coffee that's that's such a nice feeling but I'm such a guy like I watch people on YouTube like every day, but I sometimes don't even subscribe or like a video or comment. It's just not in my system. So, for 7,000 people to have done that on my channel, it's uh something I'm really proud of.
What's your favorite holiday?
Well, summer vacation, of course, if that's a right answer to the question.
What's a small luxury you enjoy?
Well, this eating steak once in a while or uh buying a nice watch.
What does success mean to you?
not having to worry about monthly payments, food on the table.
I like being humble and not spending too much money. But if you are in a store and you see something that you can just grab it and pay it, not having to worry if you will have enough for the rest of the month.
and to see my child grow up to be a smart and financially independent man [clears throat] and having his own wife and family.
That's success to me. Being a good parent.
What's your favorite outdoor activity?
Uh definitely walking in nature in the woods in Germany. They have very nice uh nature.
That's my favorite activity. Or swimming or rollerblading.
But walking is perfect.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
>> That's a nice question. If I could live anywhere, where would it be?
I think uh in Austria because because Austria is close enough to reach my wife's family and my own in Croatia plus the uh I am the biggest fan of mountains and Austria is full of them.
So I guess Austria.
What's your favorite way to spend time with friends?
on a sunny day in someone's garden barbecuing and just having a chill time with some uh low volume music in the background and just chilling.
Sometimes once in a blue moon in every one, two or three years going to the casino, spend 50 bucks and uh or playing a tournament of pro evolution soccer on the PlayStation.
Then we like we pick three of us pick four or five clubs or countries and then we play against each other to see who comes in the final against who. And uh yeah, [gasps] I'm not a soccer guy. I'm not a PlayStation guy, but it's just nice to do something with your friends.
And that's one of those things.
That's why I don't win every very often.
What's a skill you'd like to master?
Um well I would there are some music instruments I would like to know but I know I'm too lazy for that. What I would like to master is um being a lot better with the German language which I believe I am quite good which I believe I'm quite good with. I can have a conversation with a German person and I would like to learn uh Spanish. I love the Spanish language.
What's all something that always makes you smile, man?
What always makes you smile? Well, I guess a good comedian.
A good comedy show. That's what makes me smile.
I'm a big fan of comedy.
I used to be more in the dark human section and still am, but uh [gasps] yeah, basically a good joke or a good comedy show is what makes me smell. I mean, of course.
What's your favorite dessert?
First thing that comes in my mind is New York style cheesecake. Yes, I've had it maybe four times or five in my life, but sometimes the best things in life are those things that you don't use or abuse too much because it keeps it special.
You know, if I would eat cheesecake every day, it wouldn't be so special anymore.
36. What's your favorite sound in nature?
My favorite sound in nature.
Let me think. Let me think.
The waves hitting the beach. Well, not hitting, but you know when they come towards the sand and you hear that I mean, it's weird or it's hard to recreate the sound, but when you're lay lying on the beach close to the water and the water comes up towards your feet, that sound is so nice because because I guess the combination of that found with the weather and the geo mode laying on the beach is what makes it perfect.
What does your perfect evening look like?
Perfect evening.
Uh, I I guess just after a good meal, chilling on the couch for a bit and uh or reading something or talking with someone or when I watch a movie, it has to be a really good one. And u Yeah.
What's a tradition you enjoy?
I guess Christmas because always good food, good friends and family and uh presents of course when you give someone a nice present they always wanted to have and see that look on their face like, "Oh man, thanks." Oh, you know, I think that's my favorite tradition.
What's your favorite thing about getting older?
I love getting older, man.
Because not everyone who gets older gets wiser, but I do feel that, you know, you get more mature and you learn stuff.
and how to control stuff. Like when you're still a child, you feel invincible.
But when you're older or get older, you really learn that, okay, maybe drinking Coca-Cola every day, half a liter, isn't really smart. Maybe withholding some pleasures are better for you, the mind and the body, than to do it every day. Like when I was a child, I wanted to eat or drink everything that's sweet the whole day, like cookies, chocolate, and everything. But now that I'm older, I can eat. When I was younger, I couldn't.
But now that I'm older, I can. But I don't on purpose.
And of course, it's nice to get older.
Not a lot of people have the privilege to reach the old age. And I'm not old, but there are people who unfortunately have to depart in uh another world when they're in their teens or 20s or 30s. So me being 36, it's uh yeah, I really don't feel anything bad. Some people like hate it to be older, but I I would thank God if I could reach the age of 80 or 80 something or 90.
I mean, it's a privilege, but helps you sleep well.
uh having every task fulfilled that I had for the day.
Uh working out. So I am u physically tired and just having one earbud in my ear and listening to ASMR makes me fall asleep instantly.
What's your favorite animal?
Uh, my wife is a more of a cat woman, but I would be lying if I didn't say that. Uh, my favorite animal is a dog.
What's your favorite simple pleasure?
My favorite simple pleasure, man.
I I guess with or rollerblading here with a with nice weather.
A lot of people would say that roller plating isn't really a a manly thing, but I really don't care what a lot of people think. So, I love rollerblading because you have the focus to rollerblade and it's just nice. I don't know like walking is my favorite thing to do, but that less long like the distances you make with roller blading are larger so it feels more accomplished if you know what I mean.
What's something you wish more people appreciated?
Um, man, just waking up like waking up groggy or like I don't care for today. That's that's like living in hell, man. Like waking up and the first thing to do is being grateful that you your eyes opened this morning is something to be appreciated.
And the fact no matter what problems you have, you should appreciate that you have a hopefully a warm bed to sleep in.
Hopefully uh that you can eat and drink two, three times a day.
What more do you want? So, what more is there to appreciate?
What's your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is uh don't worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. I think that's a quote in Matthew and I really like the quote don't worry for what tomorrow will come because if you want it or don't it will come so don't worry today don't bring stress in your life don't bring stress in your life today for if for tomorrow because if you're supposed to have stress tomorrow it will come anyway Okay. Don't have it two times.
What's your favorite memory from your 20s, [sighs and gasps] man? Just having a decently sized friend group, sitting on a park bench, talking and chilling, having a couple of beers, and rolling something. And uh the good old days. The good old days.
What's one goal you're working towards?
Um, this is going to sound weird and a lot of people do that, but uh um finding something that has a lot of passive income so I can focus on something that I really love to do. And the simple answer would be finding something that u gives me generational wealth but that's u a hard goal to reach but not impossible.
What's something you've changed your mind about? Number 74.
I mean 47.
What's something you've changed your mind about?
Well, this is going to contradict my last answer a bit, but I don't believe that there should be trillionaires um in this world because the total opposite. I mean, I am a full capitalist and I believe capitalism is the best thing that we have for now, but uh people shouldn't be billionaires or trillionaires like where is the I don't know where I would say what's enough maybe a couple of million so that uh you can make it easier for your children and next generation but when you have a trillion dollars I mean that's like uh more than some countries have and um you can help so many people with that money.
But a couple of months or years ago, I thought like you cannot put a limit on how rich someone wants to become because that's capitalism in the free world. But uh yeah, it's not like someone should come and take every asset of the person that is a billionaire or the trillionaire, but um yeah, they should at least not be able to uh not pay at least the same amount of taxes as a common person does when it comes to percentages because they do pay a lot of taxes when you consider that they maybe pay a couple of million in taxes.
But when you look at the percentage of what they have and what they pay, it's not as much as the common folk like you and me.
So I don't believe there should be multi-billionaires or trillionaires.
multi-billionaires or trillionaires.
What would you tell your younger self?
Uh, don't drink and don't uh do any drugs. No, I didn't do I just did the the the the the grass grassy thing, but like alcohol and the grassy thing.
I wasted so much brain cells and money on it. So, don't do that. [gasps] And uh try to appreciate learning and reading and uh working out.
Number 49. How do you define happiness?
Happiness is something that you get sometimes and in moments like you're happy when uh you accomplish a goal but that happiness diminishes quickly. You're happy when uh your child gets his first tooth but after that he gets a lot more. uh you're happy when uh I don't know there are a lot of things uh that give you happiness but happiness is not a constant happiness is something that comes and goes. hope. Um, that's the definition of happiness for me.
Having a really good nice feeling, but remembering that that feeling will go away. And come back number 50. What brings you peace?
I guess another word and that word is acceptance.
Just accepting that life is hard, that you have to do with what you have.
And uh yeah, the same thing is happiness, just acceptance.
Accept that you will have moments of peace in your life and moments of the opposite of peace.
So um yeah, acceptance, acceptance is what brings me peace. If something goes wrong or something happens, accept that it happened. Uh if you can change it, change it. If you cannot change it, accept it. And uh that will give you much more of a peaceful mind than uh going against everything or crying about or crying about why something happened.
Acceptance, my friend.
Thanks for watching another one of my videos and I'll see you guys in the next one.
