[00:00:00]hi guys it's Archibald Chesterfield the third where the [ __ ] am i I'm in Singapore I'm at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel I'm under fifty seventh floor I'm on the 57th floor [ __ ] and why am I here because I'm bringing you quality YouTube content see I don't buy I don't buy views I don't buy subscribers now I put my money in to seeing the most beautiful exotic locations known to man see that's what I do I put my money on quality content see I don't buy subscribers I don't buy my views I am I put my content in coming to the best places in the world hey guys Archie luxury just back from Singapore and let's just do a quick whisk whisk watch check what am I wearing to that wearing the blue Z it's a V serial number two-tone Submariner it's a 16-6 one three what's that what a god what about what about yeah okay guys today I want to talk about when I was in Singapore I saw this company called eco ring and they they had a campaign going which was basically they offering a service to to buy your pre-loved luxury goods they've got a purchasing shock basically you take your goods into them and they will assist them make an offer for you and if you accept you can get the cash on the spot they've also got a home service for luxury goods and they also had an app as well but let's firstly let's have a look at what are they chasing exactly so they're actually a Japanese company eco ring Japan and their luxury items purchase shops luxury items purchase shops so what sort of things are they after well they're after Hermes handbags Chanel Louie Vuitton and of course Rolex Rolex as well as other branded things like Prada Gucci Fendi Bulgari and some other brands of watches so I decided to whilst I was in Singapore to go and pay them a a visit and do an Archie undercover that's correct I went into Eco ring this was at the they were at the fire they were at the Far East Plaza to F so I Witten had a look this is the the Far East plazas in Scotts road 14 Scotts Road so I went there to have a look and to do and some undercover quoting so I am the first day I went there I took in what are they take in well I took in my bluesy my bluesy that's the watch I was wearing so I took this in this is a watch that I actually paid I paid 12 and a half thousand and I've added some more links to it because I'm a bit about big I suppose me about 13,000 ozzie dollars owes me about 13,000 Aussie dollars um so I decided to take it in just to see how how it would go there and it was very interesting very very interesting indeed it's very they you go in there they ask you to sir take a seat I very very Japanese basically they had a a Japanese appraiser who who he is very very Japanese there he um he came out and he presents you his business card and you you bow to it and you you basically talk talk to him he ask you some questions about said luxury goods said luxury goods and then what happens is he then does some internet research and he will make an offer for for the goods so it's quite quite fascinating I took my bluesy in he went on the computer had a look at her hmm he he noticed it didn't have a Coronet at the six something I actually hadn't actually realized myself but yes he's right it's supposed to have a car in it so it's probably a changed crystal would nothing that's a really a bad thing but anyhow yet he said that and then um very very sharp they're just trying to tech you down a bit and he he presented me with after sitting there for about five ten minutes I don't know what the [ __ ] how the [ __ ] I don't know what the [ __ ] he was doing on his computer but he then after bit of - he he then made an offer of nine thousand two hundred Singapore dollars which for the bluesy 9200 Singapore dollars about nine six Australian nine six Australian and in u.s. real money real money nine to Singapore is about six thousand eight hundred US dollars so that that was his offer I then said it's a little bit low I'll think about it that was with box and papers full set full set hey hey hey yeah hey that's the the the Japanese there so so that was that there I sort of said I made my exits okay I'll have to think about it and I'll come back very high high very very polite there then what I actually did the next I came back a couple days later I had a different appraiser he presented me his business card wait wait I presented me his business card and I I just got back the the Rolex lady's two-tone date just twenty six mil and I offered that true them ah very interesting indeed there when I offered that to them there he had a look at it and it had been you know recently polished and serviced I told him a new service and had just been overhauled nice condition hi-hi-hi very very nice pick hi-hi-hi very very nice condition piece there ah then he went and [ __ ] around on the computer again set same modus operandi he told me that it's it's a little bit harder to sell the 26 Mills because I small bah-bah-bah and he made an offer of two thousand two thousand singers two thousand Singapore dollars which to be completely Frank with you there I thought was pretty [ __ ] mean pretty [ __ ] mean in US dollars that's a kept 1500 u.s.

[00:08:17]smackaroonies for a really nice six nine 173 ladies Rolex they just two-tone with pink salmon dial with arabic s-- all nicely presented I should have ordered a few off him hey what do you think but yeah that's kind of I said ah I said okay yeah it I just just made my my excuses and exited I then st. another cuz I've already been in twice I thought I'll send a friend Ian so we got my friend Damian hello hello-hello demo demos Damien's a good friend of mine and I actually he had a very special piece he had a Kermit a Rolex Kermit Submariner that's the Green Bay diesel version which is highly highly highly wanted he had a fat for a flat for flat flat fall and we sent him in now he actually had the advantage of also understanding Japanese so it was quite interesting because you basically you've got a Japanese assessor and you've got a Singaporean who speaks Japanese who sort of the go-between very very clever how they've done this and as soon as it came in the Japanese assessor he just in his own language and said black fall back fall back fall flat fall flat fall flat fall flat for he knew it and they paid they played very very dumb and they actually when it came to making an offer they they came back with a pretty damn insulting offer of seventeen thousand Singapore which in u.s. dollars is about twelve and a half thousand u.s.
