[00:00:12]Uh-uh. All Israel's fault. They just Are they liars or are they stupid? Probably both, but I'm not sure because I don't know them. And now we got full-blown anti-semitism all over the country. This is bad for USA.

[00:00:51]And it's all about Israel. And that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. So why should you care?

[00:00:58]You're not Jewish, right? And even if you are, then I know why you care. But if you're not Jewish, why should you care? Because this is bad for USA.

[00:01:10]You shouldn't have this.

[00:01:13]And to me, uh, as a historian, I'm looking at it and it's acceptable now. The progressive movement has embraced it and that's a large part of the Democratic Party.

[00:01:30]They despise Israel and by extension some of them hate Jews.

[00:01:36]Here's an example though.

[00:01:40]And it makes me feel silly to consistently uh you know talk about what Hamas has done um especially when there has been an October 7 times a thousand if not more than a thousand at this point in the hands of Israel against the Palestinian population in its entirety.

[00:01:57]I mean they're doing an October 7 to Lebanon right now as we speak. We have enabled Israel to carry out uh you know modern Nazi policies of ethnic cleansing, mass slaughter, uh land land theft, border expansion. It's unacceptable and uh we're the ones enabling it.

[00:02:34]I spent some time in the Middle East in Israel. I mean, I know what the story is, but a little history is is instructive. 6 million killed by the Nazis. You know that. But then there were another quarter of a million, at least quarter of a million Jews after World War II had nowhere to go. Nobody take them. USA? Nope. FDR didn't particularly like Jewish people. Great Britain wouldn't take them. Canada, no way. Eastern Europe, they persecuted them. Stalin persecuted Jews. Casaks.

[00:03:08]Okay. So, you got a least quarter of a million people walking around nowhere to go. And then you had the rest of the Jewish population going, "How could we lose six million people in the most destructive way possible?

[00:03:26]That can't ever happen again." That is the history of this in our country.

[00:03:35]We now have this movement, progressive movement that says, "No, Nazi is not that bad. Israel that? No. No. Hamas. Nah. Hezbollah. No.

[00:03:48]No. No. Terrorism. Nah. Uhuh. All Israel's fault.

[00:03:53]All Israel's fault.

[00:03:56]Here's an example. This is a student at Talson University in Maryland talking to an Israeli soldier who came over here.

[00:04:51]These idiots uh who hate Israel, Israel is doing this, Israel's doing that. Now, we elevate it to the New York Times and a columnist named Nicholas Kristoff, whom we've had trouble with before. So Kristoff writes an article last week, May 11, and the headline is a silence that meets the rape of Palestinians.

[00:05:14]Kristoff says that the Israeli government sanctions rape and atrocities against the Palestinian people, the innocent Palestinian. That's the basis of the article. 14 anonymous sources.

[00:05:31]Three on the record. The three on the record are all pro Palestinians, but he doesn't get the other side. It's like Israel's armed forces are raping Palestinians. Like mass rape, horrible things. Okay. Now, this guy, we've had questions about his accuracy for 15 years. I don't got to go into the history of it, but this forget this. He is way out there. But the Times puts his article, I guess, on page one.

[00:06:08]Okay. In the article, he quotes former Israeli Prime Minister Hood Omar, who says that uh he believes there is uh there have been some atrocities committed by the Israeli army. Probably.

[00:06:27]So, that's probably true. Okay. But after the article is published, Omar says, "I I don't know that for a fact.

[00:06:41]I don't know that for to be true."

[00:06:44]Okay? Where it was presented as fact.

[00:06:47]So, you see where this article is going.

[00:06:50]It's a smear hit piece.

[00:06:52]Now, this has caused some problems for the New York Times, for the state of Israel, and all of that.

[00:07:00]How is it going to play out?

[00:07:04]Politically, I don't think most Americans uh respect the Progressive Party. I think the Progressive Party is going to hurt the Democrats in the midterms more than they think because they're so far out there. But I don't know what's going to happen with Israel as Netanyahu, the leader, says they're going to sue in the case. Why are Jews hated again?

[00:07:30]That's the question that more and more Americans are asking. And the disturbing part is this, that the hatred now comes wrapped in different costumes. On the one side of the aisle, you hear progressives calling Jews colonizers and oppressors or white Europeans reducing one of the world's oldest persecuted minorities into cartoon villains. And on the other side of the coin, you hear parts of the far right attacking Judaism itself, claiming Jewish values. somehow weaken the West while recycling different conspiracy theories that have existed for centuries. Different language, different politics, but it's the same poison. And history teaches us something terrifying. That when a society becomes sick, the Jew is often the first symptom. Not because Jews cause the sickness, but because hatred of Jews reveals that truth and reason and moral restraints are beginning to collapse in a society. Let's deal with the facts. The idea that Jews are colonizers in Israel is historically absurd. The Jewish connection to the land of Israel is over 3,000 years old.

[00:08:41]Jerusalem was the Jewish capital long before Islam was invented. The Hebrew Bible, the Roman records, the Bisantine writings, archaeological discoveries, ancient coins, synagogues, inscriptions, all point to the same undeniable truth.

[00:08:57]The Jewish people are indigenous to that land. The Romans literally renamed Judea Palestina after crushing a Jewish revolt in order to erase Jewish identity from the region. And here's what people conveniently leave out. Almost half of Israel's Jewish population descends from Jews expelled from Middle Eastern and North African countries, Iraq and Yemen, Morocco, Syria, and Iran. These weren't Europeans arriving from nowhere. These were refugees driven from the Arab world. But notice something deeper.

[00:09:34]Criticism of Israel or really Israeli policy is legitimate. Israel is a democracy. Israelis criticize their government every single day. But when people start screaming at random Jews in New York and attacking synagogues in Los Angeles and harassing Jewish students on campuses and defacing Jewish businesses, that's no longer criticism of Israel.

[00:09:59]That's hatred of Jews. And the right-wing religious attacks are just as dishonest. Judaism gave the world the idea that every human being is created in the image of God. Judaism introduced the moral revolution that human life has value, that power is accountable, that kings are not gods, that law stands above rulers. The Sabbath gave workers dignity. The Hebrew prophets, they challenged corruption. The Ten Commandments shaped the moral language of Western civilization.

[00:10:31]So, you don't have to be Jewish to live every day inside a world transformed by Jewish ideas. That's simply a historical fact. And here's why this should matter to every American, Christian, atheist, black, white, left, right, everyone.

[00:10:49]Hatred of Jews never stays contained.

[00:10:52]Never. A society that becomes obsessed with blaming one tiny minority for all of its problems is a society that's losing its grip on truth itself. The Jewish population in America is about 2%. Right? 2%.

[00:11:09]And yet Jews are blamed for capitalism and communism, for war and for peace, for immigration and for nationalism, for secularism and for religion.

[00:11:21]Contradictory accusations are the point.

[00:11:24]Hatred stops caring about logic. The contradiction stands.

[00:11:30]And once people abandon truth, eventually everyone suffers. That's why America must reject this poison completely. Because America at its best was never built on tribal hatred. It was built on the biblical idea that every person possesses dignity given by God.

[00:11:51]That's the real American spirit. And maybe that's why anti-semitism matters so much because the treatment of Jews becomes a mirror. It reveals whether a civilization still believes in morality or whether it's beginning to consume itself. But I still believe in America.

[00:12:10]I still believe that most Americans are good people. I still believe that millions of people of every background are tired of hatred, tired of division, tired of being manipulated into hating one another. And I believe this. If America rediscovers the moral foundations that made her strong in the first place, faith, truth, personal responsibility, and the biblical belief in the dignity of every human soul, then the darkness that we see today won't be the end of the story.
