Weather forecasting for outdoor events requires analyzing multiple atmospheric factors including temperature, dew point, and precipitation patterns to help people plan activities appropriately. Forecasters track weather fronts and their movement to predict when and where rain will occur, allowing event organizers to prepare for various conditions such as setting up tents or planning indoor alternatives.

Mother's Day weekend at New York Botanical Garden追加:
John Elliott bringing us the forecast from the Bronx this morning. What are you up to there this morning, John?
So, I got to tell you, first off, a little fun with science. This is kind of cool. So, we're at the New York Botanical Garden, which we love. Got a big Mother's Day celebration gets underway at 10:00. But look at see, we're dry. Here's the line right here.
So, there's light rain. That's about all there is is light rain, and then there's me.
>> [laughter] >> So, they they're going to put up tents, and they're going to have all kinds of activities, and also, over my shoulder, I can't stress this enough, buy your mother something from the New York Botanical Garden. Look at that. We are ready to go. That opens at 10:00, too.
And you know what? What mother doesn't love plants? Come on. And you're supporting a great, great gem. All right, the weather is not a gem. First off, I want to run the numbers by you. A layer or two, definitely. 58 is the current reading in the city, but can you believe that? You've got the 40s and 50s right now. These numbers, yes, they're actually warmer than they were yesterday, but do not be deceived. That is not going to correlate to afternoon temperatures. It's not going to be that much warmer than it was yesterday. Dew points are on the way up. Lower levels of the atmosphere getting ready to support the rain. Where is the rain?
This has been what we've been watching, this line north and west that's going to gradually take over. It'll start light, then it fills in. It's not an all-day washout, but it is going to be a challenging day with this front pushing through. Doug mentioned the chance for a storm, yes, that would be south and east. In our full forecast, we are going to walk you through the future cast to help you time out your day. We'll tell you more about what's going on here at the New York Botanical Garden. I just love the green. And from the green to the blue, setting a record at a blue jean ball. We'll talk about that, as well.
Right now, though, we'll send things right back to you guys in the studio.
No more pizza talk. Let's talk about the Botanical Garden and Mother's Day.
Oh, no, there's more pizza talk because there is apparently that we've got a ruling. We just got a ruling. I don't know if this is official ruling body that the best pizza is in fact in the Bronx.
>> Of course.
>> Louie and Ernie's, Pugsley's, Emilio's up there at Morris Park and Zero Otto Nove. That's just the beginning. So, yeah, plenty of good pizza in the Bronx and it's easy to get to cuz you know the 7 train. Watch out for that. All right, we're at the New York Botanical Garden. First off, flower power coming up May 23rd. That peace sign, can you dig it? That's going to be full of flowers. So, that's just the next big event on the calendar here. And then also this tree back here, I don't know if you can see it. It looks like it's been shaped and manicured. That's just the way that tree grows and that's number of trees. That's actually a tan yoshi pine, which is a beautiful Japanese tree. And then just moments ago we sent in some video of this bird and we're trying to see there it is. Look at that.
So, I'm I'm here with I'm here with Nick and Tainui. I think it's a hawk. I think that's a hawk. Just a beautiful bird and everywhere you look there's just life.
It's coming to life. The garden opens at 10:00 and the Mother's Day celebration gets underway at noon. Very exciting. I love that and thank you Josh, editor Josh, our friend. Being able to turn that bird around and the bird is still there cuz it wants to know the forecast.
All right, so let's dive right in and show you what's going on weather wise.
We do have some challenging weather today. I want to stress it's not a washout. You can see cuz I'm not being washed out. Yesterday was a mixed day, wasn't it? Started with the rain and ended with another round of showers, but we still had some nice skies. 68 there in Belmar and we had the mid-60s out on the island. 50s dominated Rockland, Westchester in and around and close to town 66 JFK way, 65 at Newark. The park at 63. So 63 below normal. We might be a degree warmer today, but that's it. We should be at 70. Read the bottom line though. Do you see that? Sunset tonight at 8:00. Oh, I'm digging it. And we are going to see sunsets at or later than 8 until the 11th of August. So something to look forward to. Sadly, we're not going to see that much sun today. So let's serve up what we are seeing. Wow, look at this. More coverage with some heavier rain through parts of Sullivan County, Orange into Rockland and Putnam.
It's that that nice steady rain. I'm sorry for your Saturday. We do need the rain. You can see more showers, but in the city we're still waiting. Nassau, Suffolk too. Ocean County waiting. See the brighter colors you see through parts of PA. Let's time it out for you and help you time your day because we're looking at stronger storms or chance of those storms this afternoon. Time stamp on top of the TV screen. Even by midday.
Warren County, but look at that little bullseye there. Could see that right here in the Bronx, too. So make sure you have the rain gear whatever you're doing today. Definitely more coverage midday, mid-afternoon, and then this is what we're concerned about. Good morning.
Possibility of an isolated storm.
Best candidates will be south and east.
That pushes through, then those dew points are going to really stay high. So for the first part of your Mother's Day, you've got some fog. It's funny they shy, they didn't want to be on TV. So fog is going to start your day, and then this is what everybody's talking about.
An isolated shower for the barbecue Sunday afternoon. Not the kind of coverage that we're seeing today, but by Sunday night, here we go again.
Monmouth, Ocean, and Nassau, too. That's going to tee it up for a cool Monday.
National Weather Service reminding us that there's an isolated severe chance.
That would bring in the element of not only the thunder and lightning, but some wind as well. And it's a cold wind.
Monday only 58. Tuesday just 65.
Wednesday, chance of some more showers.
Hey, this past Wednesday, I have to give give a big shout-out to all my friends at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. We had their annual Blue Jean Ball at the beautiful Performing Arts Center there in Newark. And again, you know, it's blue jeans, so I'm wearing blue jeans. I got the tuxedo on top and the blue jeans on the bottom. Normally, we do the total shout-out from inside, but the money kept coming in. So, we had to wait till the after-party for the good news and uh take a listen.
Community Food Bank of New Jersey You just raised $1.8 million.
>> [cheering] >> I could not believe it. I was humbled. I was part of the auction and the Fund-A-Dream section. [music] We were supposed to raise $120. Those people raised $308,000 in one night only. Thank you, Community Food Bank of New Jersey. And of course, thank you for all you do. Raised enough money for 5.4 million meals. So, they had a record. They had a record orchid show here at the New York Botanical Garden. We're going to talk about the next big events coming up here in the beautiful Bronx where the pizza's number one. But right now, we'll send it back to you guys in the studio.
All right, pizza's number one, peaches or not. [laughter] John Elliott, thank you. Got your first alert forecast. He's got a guest. John.
I've got a couple guests. I've got a couple guests, but one of them is extremely shy. She does not want to be on TV cuz I thought this was brother and sister. Who's this young lady? This is my mom. I I brought her here today to just celebrate the day.
Is this the sweetest kid or what?
Bradley, right? So, what are you guys going to do? Just walk around? You know there's a big Mother's Day thing starting at noon. Yeah, so that that's that's part of the main reason why we came today. Aw, what do you love about your mom? Uh well, especially now, like she's always been helping me like throughout school and like mainly like the major parts of life and stuff.
You're doing a good job, Mom. You may be shy, but you're doing a good job. Well, you guys have fun. You were just on live TV. Now your phone's going to light up.
Hey, what did you say on channel two?
Yeah. Oh, wait a minute. Who is this?
Tell me your name again.
My name is Nailani. Nailani. Nailani, tell me about the circle C. What's constellation about? Um this constellation's about um the well, the vendors. So, they have these cookies and they're setting up right here for cookies, but you've got this great pine tree cafe and you're going to see thousands of people here today, right?
>> Yes, I am.
>> I am. You excited about You excited about Mother's Day?
Pretty much, yeah. And I'm also And also I do love like the sandwiches that we make over here. We have like our chicken mozzarella sandwich as well as our caprese um sandwiches, which are vegan and vegetarian, so try one. And she had no idea she was going to be on live TV. All right, now you stay here because I'm going to show you guys the radar. First off, we've got a little bit of rain, but look at they're setting tents up. So, you guys are going to be fine. You guys are going to be the most popular spot. Heavy rain to the north. We're going to see some rain fill in. Don't go away, Chef. And then look at this. So, this is your afternoon. That's why the cafe is going to be so popular as the uh as the rain fills in, you're going to fill in. Uh just remember, going to be on the cool side. You need a layer and you need Chef, what's your first name? My first name is Masterful. How you doing? Your first name is Masterful.
I love that. This is the most fun. So, look, they're they're yelling at me cuz I'm going over, but uh what do you love about uh being here at the uh New York Botanical Garden?
>> Oh, it's just the scenery is just so beautiful. And honestly, I love the best part of my day is working with the staff. I got a staff full of mothers that show up every day and do not stop.
They are the heart of this cafe. You know, that was a great sound bite. And it was live. Thank you. I know you got work to do and I know you got work to do in the studio, too, so I'm in trouble.
So, I'll send it back to you guys. Way to rub it in, John. I love I love the first chef. He's like, "Yeah, it's an exciting Mother's Day tomorrow night.
Yeah, can I interest you in some sandwiches?" The New York Botanical Garden with your First Alert Forecast and a lot of interesting things happening there for the mothers this weekend.
>> And celebrating Mother's Day a day early there, right, John?
Absolutely. Today and tomorrow it's going to be big, big, big, big, big.
First off, a big hug to Rob Shooter. I used to work with Rob. Great, fascinating storyteller. I'm so happy that Mary could spend some time with him. So, I'd give a big hug to our editor, Josh. Josh is doing double duty.
So, we sent in a bird. We've got another bird. All of a sudden we're bird watchers. Look at it.
Look at Tainui, look at what he did.
That is amazing work. So, Tainui is in for Vince this Saturday.
And so, he keeps seeing all these beautiful scenes. This is like 7 minutes ago and we did do a quick little interview. It is official. The early bird does get the worm. All right, let's get that real estate ready for a little bit more warming cuz we do have rain I want to show you and I want to talk about and we're going to time out those showers. So, we are going to see a soggy Saturday. Then it's warm for mom, cooler on Monday. Let's go and show you where the rain is right now. My friend Helena's going to watch this with me.
So, right now the heaviest rain is up through parts of Sussex County into uh into Sullivan and then Orange County, Rockland County seeing a little bit of rain. We're still dry for much of Westchester and here in the Bronx.
Expand the view and you see this this amount of rain that's going to be coming through. So, uh let's time it out for you. Timestamp is going to be on top of the viewing screen. This is so crucial to folks.
You're going to have dryer NASA Suffolk, you get a break. Okay, so east you get a break Fairfield, too. But by 3:00 the concern is going to be these isolated pockets of rain. It so it'd be light to moderate in the Bronx, but it doesn't last all day. Watch this line to the east and to the south. This is the concern. This is why the National Weather Service has already said, "Hey, we could see some strong to severe storms south of the city, but I'm concerned about the line out through parts of the island as well and over the sound, too. We wrap it up for Mother's Day. Mother's Day is going to be huge here. Mother's Day is going to start with fog and then there'll be a shower in the middle part of the day, but that's a passing shower, not the kind of organized rain that we're going to see today. And then Monday, Monday's wet in the morning and it's going to be cool only 58. So, Helena Laporte Burns, first off did I do it right?
>> You did. Good morning.
>> I've been working on your beautiful name, director of programming here. So, first off, what is coming up today and what time does the Mother's Day celebration get going? We are celebrating mothers here between 12:00 and 5:00 today, rain or shine. And tomorrow between the same time frame, we have face painting for little ones. We have Uptown Vinyl Supreme here playing some tunes. We have some wonderful food trucks giving you some excellent picnic lunch options. But today with the rain, we're here to give mom whatever experience she's looking for, whether it's joining us underneath the pavilions, going into the azaleas with an umbrella, or going into our conservatory and getting nice and dry and seeing the plants that really do best in a moister dry environment.
>> we do need the rain. We do. So, I mean we're sharing these pictures, these beautiful pictures. They got You made a great point to me. With this kind of cloud cover, you actually see color better at the garden.
>> That's correct. Because you have sort of an overcast sky, you can even see it around us, right? Colors are popping more just because of the way that physics with light works. Yeah, and look at this. As Tainui makes the big turn all the way down to the peace sign that we're going to talk about again, you really see this rich green. It's just absolutely beautiful. So again, and photographers know this too, and a lot of birders know this as well. Sometimes, if you're doing bird photography, this is exactly what you want.
>> Exactly. A sunny day actually is not the best for seeing flowers. A day like today is. Look at you, silver lining.
All right, so you're going to be back and we're going to talk more about that peace sign and what's coming up next here at the garden. But uh right now, we're going to send it back to you guys in the studio.
>> I love how calm Helena is, and Tainui also has an amazing eye for capturing those shots of the birds and the flowers and everything there. Yep, and just it gives you a relaxed feeling, even just talking to them from there. I can't believe you're in the Bronx, but it's so calming. It's such a cool place, and celebrating Mother's Day today. And the way we generally categorize these things, but it's a beautiful day to bird watch and and walk around with an umbrella even when it starts raining there.
Well, and you can see too, I'm here with my new best friend JoJo Strauss, who's by the way a veteran of CBS Sunday Morning. She's been interviewed on the network side, but you can see the sun kind of playfully uh you know, kissing our hair and shrouding it. How many years have you been coming to the New York Botanical Garden? Since I was a lot shorter and younger.
But you're now a dedicated volunteer.
How many years have you been volunteering?
>> Uh since 2001. And when I retired, why wouldn't I want to be here more often?
Why do you do it? Uh I love nature. This is my happy place. When you come here, you can't believe you're in New York City. You're surrounded by all this natural beauty. And what are you doing this What's your class that you're sharing today? Okay, I'm leading a tour uh through the Azalea Garden. It's called Ecotherapy in the Azalea Garden, where we learn about the benefits of nature, just relax, look at the flowers, the beautiful trees, and listen and smell the sounds.
You can smell the >> the sounds is Wow, that just blew my mind. Okay, so smell the forecast because by the way, rain does have a smell by the way. That is true. So, speaking of rain, you can see it right there. So, obviously Sullivan, Ulster, Warren, Pike, you're going to be dealing with more rain sooner. We're still waiting Jersey Shore. Look at even Morris and West Essex getting a break now, but that's going to change and you're going to see those shades of green go up with more rain. So, be mindful of that. This is definitely going to be more of an afternoon impact for the city and points south and east. Don't forget though, we could see an isolated storm with wind that's the severe threshold that we'll be watching. For Mother's Day, it looks better for the most part. We'll time that out and let Jo Jo get to work here as we send things back to you guys in the studio. Okay, everyone's awfully calm and serene in that environment.
>> yep. John, thank you. Um, we'll check back in with John in just a few minutes to always get the first alert on any storm from our weather team or any weather across our area, you can download the free CBS News app. These UFO documents, while you're out there at the New York Botanical Garden.
>> You have a great view of them overhead.
We just There was a This is an identified riding object. This is an IRO, identified riding object. This is the Garden Tram Tour that just went by.
Okay, as far as UFOs go, I think knowledge is power and classification is very important. One thing that you just heard in that story is some things will be ruled out. I know for a fact there's something called in meteorology a lenticular cloud. A lenticular cloud looks like a flying saucer. I've seen them. You need a certain rock formation and you need the exact dew point. And people would call in saying it's a flying saucer, but knowing it's a lenticular cloud helps. So, I think all of this new data is going to help.
Speaking of stuff that's out of this world, these are the solar pavilions down there. You can kind of get a look at that. That's where they obviously they're gathering the strength of the sun. This is where certain in June they do the farmers market every Wednesday here. There's a food truck. Normally that's the delicious food truck here, but there are five food trucks for Mother's Day. All that fun starts around noon. So, a lot of stuff and you don't have to leave the planet. You don't even have to leave the city. All you got to do is head up to the Bronx or head into the Bronx. Come on down. So, let's talk about it. Let's tell you what you're up against. Now, I I wore a coat cuz it was cool this morning. It's starting to warm up and it's humid, but we've got rain today.
The steadiest is going to be in the afternoon. Thunderstorm or two possible?
Yes. I mean, full disclosure. Yes. You hear that rumble? You see that flash?
You know to be lightning safe, but the best candidates are south and east.
Mother's Day morning fog, that's going to be an issue. Drier during the daytime by comparison today, but an isolated shower in the afternoon. Then that rain risk returns in earnest Sunday night into Monday morning. So, rain chances I know look a little bit more ominous for Mother's Day and that is a change from what we were talking about say Wednesday of last week. So, it's a little bit more in play. So, let's dive right into some of the model guidance. You know how this works. First off, we'll show you where the rain is and we are seeing okay, by 2:00 it's probably going to be light rain here in the Bronx. Light rain here in the Bronx. Heavy rain continues for Sussex up into Orange, Sullivan, Ulster. And then by 4:00, that's where you see that thunderstorm chance. Watch that line, that bright line hold together and push through. Our concern tonight could see some gusty winds, damaging winds, and even a little bit of ponding on area roadways. Then Saturday night's fine. Sunday morning is foggy.
Just make sure you're ready for that and then it's Sunday. See, you're fine. I think they're going to big numbers here at the you know, the garden tomorrow, but there's that bull's-eye in the afternoon. If you're doing a barbecue, everybody inside the house and then it's out of here, and then we're going to see that cooler, you know, resolution on Monday. That's when you're going to see definitely more rain Monday, and Monday's going to be the coolest of the work week. So, Helena LaPorte Burns, I'm so happy I got your name right again. Um Fraser, what are we standing in front of? We're standing in front of the Mertz building. It's a historic landmark here on the grounds. This is lovely, and she's a walking historian telling me all about this. This is dedicated cuz we wanted to show London how to do this.
What's next on the calendar here?
What's not next is a better way of putting it. We are very busy this month.
Besides our collections really coming into bloom, we also have Spring Uncorked, which is on May 16th. It's our wine lovers event, 21 and up, right behind me. Yes, we have four bands, local to New York City. We have 11 wineries. You get a wristband, a custom cup. You get to sample and enjoy your day here and learn about the different tannins and flavors in wine. What about the colors on the building and the lights? What's that? That is for our liquid light shows. That is with Flower Power, our exhibition that opens later this month, which is a celebration of flowers as a symbol of peace and love in the late '60s. But these liquid light shows, there are four of them. Each night has a different band, Ghost Funk Orchestra, Habibi, Evolfo, um and we're really excited to have them here.
>> best way the website? Yes, it is the website to learn about our liquid light shows. It's our projection onto this Mertz building. And that is n nybg.org.
>>.org. Okay, and that's for pricing Well, you're dynamite. And you know, she's I got She's got so much stuff to do. She's got to go. Uh but we are going to go back and put some stuff on your shopping list for Mom that you can get here at the New York Botanical Garden, too. But right now, we'll send it right back to you guys in the studio. All right. Thank you, John. tranquil environment, and we've seen uh some We saw a hawk earlier on in the show. We've seen the beautiful setting that you can go to today and tomorrow to celebrate Mother's Day, John.
>> And John, are you going to hug a tree today?
Hey, I uh uh you nothing gets by you. I absolutely I'm going to hug this tree.
People say, "Why how come you're always up at the New York Botanical Garden?" I love this place. My father, I have vivid memories of my wonderful father taking me into the forest to feel the trees.
You learn about the bark, you learn about the the kind of the the the grain of a tree. If you're at the New York Botanical Garden and you see this northern red oak or a sign like this, they want you to get close to this and really connect with this. And if you want to, you know, you want to blow your mind, do some research on the benefits of walking around trees. It's not science fiction, it's science fact. And this was this new Japanese tree. And and if you look at the tree, the the branch there, that's not topiary. That's just the way this tree grows when it grows together. And the similar climate that we share with Japan lets trees like that thrive. So, love it up here. And yeah, do your brain a favor and go hug a tree.
All right, real quickly, I want to show you the rain and get you ready for the day for that trip to the trees. So, the rain is starting to fill in as promised.
But look at Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam. See how it retreats a bit? Hey, this is a blessing. This is going to help us here in the Bronx. Going to help Monmouth Park trying to get the fun going down to the south. But it is raining. Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, you definitely have more now in Sussex. And there's more on the way. You see that line around Philadelphia? That's going to push through. That's why we're concerned about the possibility of an isolated strong to severe storm. Suffolk County, I worry about you tonight because that line is going to hold together. It is better for Mother's Day.
We're going to talk about Mother's Day and tell you where you can get some great gifts for Mom and help out a great garden. Hint, hint. Right now, though, we'll send it back to a great studio.
And it's easy and done.
All right, John. Thank you. We appreciate it. We'll check back in with John in just a few minutes. To always get the first alert on any storm or weather in our area, you can download the free CBS News app. It's called Napoleon pizza or something. Really good.
>> John was saying earlier they're surrounded by great pizza there.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
You want to know what I'm surrounded by now? I'm surrounded by the most amazing family from Brooklyn I've ever met. Say hello to the Pink family. Woo! Hello.
And you know how easy they made it on me? Look at number You know how easy they made it on me? Look at. Number one, number two, three, four, five, six, seven, and >> Well, wait a minute. What happened to seven?
>> Well, they passed Seven's probably on the Oh, jeez. That Seven. Seven?
When did seven pass away?
>> We had two Number two passed away So, I'm filling in for one of your deceased relatives? And you're very lucky to do so. That's it. Very, very happy. Warren and Jean Williams and Rodney George Pink. Doc, everybody loved you. So, he would love you. For sure. I'm sticking with one.
>> [laughter] >> You guys are sweet. They do this every year. It's their sibling get-together year. And this I love this. This is the little brother.
Um, what do you think of all your sisters? Um, nothing but inspiration, motivation, right our rearing. I mean, my sister taught me French at I'm sorry, number four taught me French at seven years old. So, now I go to France every summer with my fiance who actually grew up in France. And I'm just speaking the native language. Well, Thank you Thank you for letting me interrupt your and and sorry for disrespect, but I love your family.
And everybody I'm going to do weather, but everybody let's give a big kiss to and send it back.
I thought so sweet. Uh okay, let's do weather. And you guys can gather around and watch weather. I got it on this TV right here. Okay, so here's the deal. So there's the rain right there, and you can see you can see, I mean, we're still okay. That's Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess.
You guys are from Brooklyn, you expand the view, and you can see that there is some more rain filling in from the west.
So that's going to be the issue. I would say they're here to take pictures. Take your pictures now. The lighting's good with the gray because it's going to be hard for family pictures this afternoon, and then it's going to get busy. We'll show you the future cast real quickly, so you can get a sense of this. So what we do with this, the time is up here, and watch between now and say noon, it's going to start to fill in. By 3:00 3:00 I know. 3:00 it's going to be a little wet, and then the brighter colors indicating the storms. Our concern are some storms later today and tonight. Not only through parts of Connecticut, but that line could clip Monmouth and Ocean.
That's down in Jersey, and then out there on the island, too. Then we see fog to start your Mother's Day. Hope you guys have a great Mother's Day, by the way.
We seeing Agnes pink? Agnes pink. And then we're going to see a possibility of an isolated shower that could interrupt the barbecue, and then it's going to be more rain into Monday morning, which is going to be cool. So Mother's Day, just remember, could see an isolated shower.
By the way, Mother's Day is going to be the warmest day of the next few. We're going to be in the 70s, and just like it was last year. So have a this great Mother's Day to look forward to. But remember 2004? That was a cool one.
Don't forget though, want to make sure that you are ready for the rain later today because it's very important. Um come on in, Michaela. Michaela can't believe and don't you go away, Philip.
Michaela is director of interpretation here. What are we interpreting? Tell me what your gig is. So my job is to write about plants on all of our public signage so that people can connect with Central World a little bit more deeply while they're here at the garden. I love that. Uh Mother's Day celebration gets underway at Uh this afternoon at 12:00.
>> And you got food, you've got music, you've got tents if the rain fills in, right?
>> do. We've got a whole rain plan. There's going to be games going all day. It's still going to be a wonderful family uh family event.
>> And general admission gets you in, right?
>> I believe so, yeah.
>> Okay. All right. Uh come on over here uh because you stay with me. I want to bring in Philip. Um and uh uh let's show them some of the flowers. What do what do we have on sale because wouldn't these make wonderful presents for Mom?
Yeah, stop and smell the roses when you come by the shop. We've got all types of colors. They're all a nice price. So, whatever your mom likes, you could set her up with something nice depending on if you want her to think about you or just give her a nice gift to occupy her as well.
>> What how much I mean, are these really demanding plants or is this something that someone that doesn't have the greenest of thumbs could handle? Well, it's not super hard. This time of year, the roses are really thriving. So, just add a little bit of love and usually that's enough. He said a little bit of love and we didn't even practice that.
Uh why why should people come to the New York Botanical Garden? I mean, this is the season to come. It's always beautiful here, but the flowers are just going uh going wild and uh it's a beautiful place to spend some time outside with uh with your family, with your loved ones. Uh and we hope you'll join us. I mean, just meeting the pink family was absolutely wonderful. Hey, thanks, man, stepping up at the last minute. Thank you. Thank you.
>> Thank you. Uh so much to interpret here.
And oh, by the way, here's the rest of the shop and it's open today. Great idea. Gift for Mom and a great way to support a real gem here in New York. We are live at the New York Botanical Garden. Everybody have a great Saturday.
Watch out for the rain and we'll see you bright and early on Mother's Day Sunday.
Man, how could you not want to go there?
Everyone is in such a peaceful mood. Their energy is tranquil.
>> And for us to end uh the uh couple hours where John's been there with the Pink family was just perfect. Just adorable.
They said thank you for the good weather.
>> The good weather on Mother's [laughter] Day. Yeah, loved that.
