Zack Snyder Shares SWEET Cavill & Adams DCEU Moment!

[00:00:00]Welcome back to the channel once again, guys. Thank you so much for joining me as always as we dive back into the Snider versse. So, once again, Zack Snider's been posting up on his Instagram account, and we have a brand new picture here of Amy Adams, Lois Lane, and obviously Henry Caval's Superman here, but it's a bit more of an intimate kind of setting. He's not in costume. Uh, it's kind of a romantic kind of couple, intimate kind of setting type of image. Not intimate in that way, guys. So, don't get too excited. When I mean intimate, I mean kind of like a romantic kind of sweet type of picture.

[00:00:30]That's the kind of intimate I'm talking about. Okay. So, Zack Snder shares Henry Caval and Amy Adams DCU post uh quote, "They mean hope." So, that's kind of attached to the image. So, we go down and take a look in a minute. I'm just going to skip past this big uh image header at the top here. So, Zack Snder is keeping the DCU posts going on Instagram. How many pictures has this guy got? I mean, is he going to continue to post up these pictures all the way up until the Paramount Warner Brothers merger and uh then we get the reveal that Zack Snder is coming back, James Gunn is gone? Who knows? That could happen. As a DC fan, it is a crazy time to be a DC a DC fan. Let me just go off on a bit of a tangent for a second.

[00:01:10]Think of all the roller coaster of emotions we've been through in the past with Zack Snider's uh DCU, his Snider versse. Henry Caval was gone, then he's coming back, then he's gone, then he came back at the end of Black Adam, then the uh, you know, the Snider verse is now gone. Now James Gun's coming, now James Gun may be going and Zack Snder could be coming back. And the Paramount Warner Brothers merger, I mean, the roller coaster of emotions being a DC fan over the last sort of 15, 10 or 15 years has just been so insane. Like trying to keep up with it all. But anyway, that's a story for another day.

[00:01:40]So, uh, where are we here? So, this time sharing a quiet moment featuring Henry Caval and Amy Adams as Clark Ken and Lois Lois Lane. So, Snider posted an image of the couple together and added the caption, "This couple on my planet, they mean hope." He also used the Billy Isish song, I love you, which adds another emotional layer to the post. So, this is the actual post here. Again, like I was saying at the beginning, kind of like an intimate kind of sweet kind of almost kind of semi- like romantic type of picture. Here we have Superman, uh, Henry Caval. Uh, here's, uh, Clark Kent laying in bed, fast asleep, and, uh, Amy Adams kind of with her hand on his back, um, comforting him, I guess, is the best way of saying it. Kind of comforting him while he's asleep, while he's resting in between in between missions or fights or whatever he's been doing. Um, obviously, he's going to have a lot of stress. He's going to be tired from time to time, even though he's a Kryptonian. So, uh, again, a nice little kind of intimate, uh, relationship kind of image there that shows the kind of chemistry and the love between the couple there, which is really, really nice. And I always say that I think both of those characters were cast really, really well. Amy Adams, Oscar Caliber, actress, Henry Caval, again, I mean, we've already said Adnausium on the channel. He's one of the most perfect Superman characters um, out perfect Superman actors, uh, outside of Christopher Ree, obviously. Um, but yeah, both of them were cast perfectly.

[00:03:02]The chemistry was great and um I would love to see them both come back at some point. I really really would. But yeah, a nice little intimate kind of relationship type picture there. So uh Snyder keeps spotlight on Caval and Amy Adams. So the new post continues Snider's recent run of DCU related uh content on Instagram. Much of it centered on his take on Superman and the larger Justice League cast. The latest image focused on Caval and Adams whose relationship as Clark and Lois was a key part of Snider's DC movies. So more than just a romance, Snyder often framed the two as the emotional center of the story, especially when it came to Superman's humanity. And I mean, again, this uh post uh this post here, Zack Snider posted up, I think it was probably like 2 or 3 months ago now. We did cover it on the channel, but it was a really nice again a nice intimate kind of loving kind of relationship image of u you know Clark Kent and uh Lois Lane here and uh sat on the couch just taking a selfie together and it's just a really nice sweet image and again shows the chemistry shows the relationship between them and uh I don't know it's just something different. I mean I love pictures of Henry Caval in the costume Superman. I really do. But looking at his character through the lens of this kind of relationship and giving us a different look at the character as him being a human with a relationship um you know to Amy Adams Lois Lane here. I mean it just look we get we get a look at the character in a different kind of light than we usually do in the costume with that kind of stoic expression that he has a lot of the time. Um so it's really really nice. Okay. Lois and Clark were central to Snider Superman. So in Snider's DC movies, Lois Lane was never treated like a side character. She played a major role in grounding Cavl's Superman and giving the character a personal reason to keep fighting. Uh that was especially clear in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Zack Snider's Justice League. Where Lois remained tied to some of the biggest emotional beats in the story. Snider's latest posts looked like another reminder of that dynamic for him. Caval Superman and Adam's Lois was always about more than a spectacle. They represented heart, loss, love, and hope.

[00:04:57]Exactly. I mean, and again, the the the the chemistry between not just the characters, but the actors as well. Um, I think it was perfectly cast. I think it was great. Um, they did a fantastic job. And, uh, you know, fingers crossed, fingers crossed, toes crossed, all body parts crossed that we get them to come back at some point. I mean, for a Man of Steel 2, the internet would explode if a Man of Steel 2 uh, was announced by Paramount once they take over Warner Brothers. I mean, how would you not? If you're an executive over at Paramount, you know, David Ellison who's in charge, uh, the Ellisons who are in charge of Paramount, you would lean into his ear and say, "Look, look, we've got Man of Steel 2 we can make over here. Do you want to perhaps, you know, have a think about it? You know, Man of Steel 2, the the internet would explode. Is something that could rival what they're doing over at Marvel? Um, you know, why would you not at least consider it Man of Steel 2?

[00:05:47]I mean, people would go crazy. They would lose their damn minds." Um, I know Henry Caval's busy with a lot of things and he's got this, you know, Warhammer 40k universe he's supposed to be building over at Amazon, uh, over at Amazon Prime. Um, but I've not heard any updates about that for a long time. I don't know if they're still moving ahead with that. I assume they are. Um, but he's supposed to be like the Kevin Feige of that Warhammer universe. He's supposed to be the guy guiding the ship with that. Um, but again, whether they're still forging ahead with it, I'm not sure. Um, I hope they are cuz I do want to see it. But at the same time, I want it to be clear. I want his uh schedule to be clear so that Henry Caval can come back if he's asked. So uh you know there's two sides to uh two sides to that story there. But there we go guys. So what do you think about this new image? Um Amy Adams Lois Lane and uh obviously Henry Caval's Clark Kent there. Little bit of an intimate kind of relationship. Um kind of sweet picture there of Henry, you know, laying in bed and Lois Lane kind of comforting him, so to speak. What do you think about it?
